No joke I'm gonna need West Germans to stop discussing East German politics on social media (twitter). We all know these results are scary and a sign of what's to come, but if you can't even tolerate one (1) evening not being about you- a person whose direct environment is not changed by these results - but about the very real lives and fears of (queer, poc, etc.) East Germans you need to actually burn your phone and never talk again. But hey man I'm glad you're getting some likes out of being a cunt.

And let's not forget: East Germany doesn't have a Nazi problem, Germany has. Let's not pretend for one second that a bunch of West Germans who vote CDU/FDP wouldn't vote AfD in a heartbeat, if they... you know... had no money like East Germans, who live/grew up in an economy that was in no small part actively destroyed in the re-unification.
