This chapter was heartwarming I can’t lie but like… only 4 ppl..?
#now wtf are they hoping to do against Mikey’s annoying ass?#like I’m sure at this point kaku the haitani brothers and hell even takeomis irritating ass went to Mikey#there is no one on their team tht can take Mikey out and they’re gonna struggle against Mikey’s lackeys so like..?#I’m just wondering what takemichi hopes to accomplish#like the only thing I can think of is takemichi thinking he’ll be able to talk to Mikey#since he’d surely be more lucid when they next meet up compared to him during the 3 deities fight#but even then I still don’t think Mikey is gonna care?#if anything he might give takemichi the option to run away but even then we know takemichi wouldn’t#so he’d just be getting his ass beat again#I’m just confused at how this is gonna end in a satisfying way#i truly believe tht wakui wrote himself in a corner with making Mikey so OP as he has Bc if we’re being real his shit makes absolutely no#sense like he is fucking 5’3 he’s shorter than takemichi and you mean to tell me he can go against south who was like 6’7 and a monster#it made no sense for him to completely overwhelm him and walk away from tht fight with no noticeable injuries#fucking ridiculous like with taiju at least we knew he was run down but with south they made it seem like he kept powering up as he got beat#up but then Mikey gave into his ‘dark impulses’ and basically became superhuman#anyway this chapter was nice bc it’s always great to be reminded how much takemichi impacted ppl besides Mikey#like what made me love takemichi as a character was how hard he went for others and how inspirational he was#like the black dragons arc is truly the best arc of TR#thts why im glad we got callbacks to the arc with hakkai inupi and coco#hakkai so damn real ‘takemichi if it’s you asking me for help there’s no way I could refuse’ LIKE STOP 😭😭😭😭😭#im glad inupi joined too bc I was getting weird vibes from him and honestly im surprised we didn’t see him more grief stricken over drakens#death? he was the one who sent him there and ended up dying#but the fact tht koko was the one who brought takemichi back was nice bc I always wondered about his stance on him and was annoyed with his#snarky response when takemichi finally woke up but it’s nice to know he not only carried him all the way to inupi but also visited him to#make sure he was ok and it’s nice to know tht he’s really only with Mikey bc it’s the winning team not bc he actually likes him unlike his#admiration of takemichi - but the thing tht confuses me is why takemichi didn’t go to the twins peh or pah#he knew to leave mitsuya alone but the rest of them would definitely want to help and have offered their help so why not take them up on#their offer?#anyway I have no idea how this is bouta end I just hope it won’t be disappointing or far fetched#tokyo revengers 237
