#like I was looking at a picture of Lestat...and he still looks as facially-perfect as I remember

Hey! Could you tell your headcanon of Lestat's appearance too?

//Sure thing. Lestat is trickier for me, because I feel like a lot of people go sort of overboard with the whole “blonde haired blue eyed beauty” sort of look, and I don’t really like it. In my head, Lestat isn’t as tall as Louis, and he certainly doesn’t have the same intensely sharp facial features. I do imagine him to be slightly lankier than Louis, though, which I think is kind of cute since Louis always insists on being the little spoon even though he’s got broader shoulders and just a slightly bigger build in general. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I think they could both be considered as skinny and slightly underweight, but I just think Lestat is moreso than Louis (bc Lestat was like a starving street performer when he was turned whereas Louis was a depressed but still rather well-fed plantation owner).

 Also I know Lestat is canonically supposed to be like 20-21 years old, but idk that just seems so damn young to me, so I tend to picture men slightly older (not quite Tom Cruise’s age, but definitely older than like...college boys).

The FC I’ve seen floating around the most has been Emil Andersson, which I just like...don’t really agree with:

idk, his face reads as more Louis to me, and his hair isn’t the right texture. I just can’t picture Lestat with a strong jawline for some reason?? I don’t know why. 

Anyway, the perfect Lestat for me is Jack Otterstedt:

I mean, the hair is super on point in my book, and I just really love his face shape in eyes. Something about him reads as mischievous yet emotional. Like, he looks like he could very easily swing from sensitive to manipulative in .001 seconds. So that’s the Lestat I see in my head tbh.
