I have sooo many abandoned oneshots in my folders ;(
Like almost 100k worth of oneshots and scenes I have cut out of my fics. Most are trash but I am a hoarder, apparently.
At the very least if I ever run out of steam for my longfic I can work on a oneshot, so there is that.
