tbh I saw this coming I was just wondering how early they might do it and since they have the group account to promote their work, I think its time they created their individually curated instas bc I know they have different styles and probably want to share more. I think this will also bring in more fans so its just great im so happy for them!!!! Lino and han probably won't get one for a while but Lino's insta post had laughing me like his caption was like "now I have this account to myself" lmao

OK OK OK HEAR ME OUT!!! HEAR ME OUT!!! all the BRC crews, but like, they're slashers/murderers, and the BRC crew is basically the main cast y'know???? I feel like solace should be the final girl

This is gonna be a fun one! I like horror stuff, but admittedly with slashers I tend to just read about them, since seeing the gory stuff makes me ill. ^^;

Still! Even just reading about a lot of these kinds of movies gives a lot of ideas, so I'm working off of that!

Also sorry I’m posting this the next day! I finished this yesterday, but I wanted to proofread it first and got too sleepy to finish it last night. ^^;

So with BRC as the main cast (I’m assuming just the original 5? Tryce, Bel, Felix, Vinyl, and Solace), horror movie logic dictates that usually the comedy relief character dies first. Then again I have no idea if that’s still a thing in horror movies these days. :u

But anyways, I feel the character who probably fits that role is either Felix or Solace. Because, Felix gives me the impression of a chill guy who cracks jokes every now and then. And Solace is Solace, the comedy is mostly in his bad luck and/or his status as a Sad Wet Blorbo, lol

imo Solace’s bad luck could actually work in his favor, basically him bumbling/tripping/etc. while avoiding death in more and more ridiculous ways as the movie goes on. To the point where he just happens to be the Final Girl!

But if we go with “comedy relief character dies first” and Solace gets that role, then I nominate Vinyl as the Final Girl. I feel like she’d be great as the Final Girl and actually manage to finish off the villain!

I guess the rest of the non-rival BRC members (Rave, Mesh, Shine, Rise, and Coil) get to be the background characters that get killed off along the way. Or otherwise they manage to escape just in time, but don't play much of a role in stopping the villain in the end. Whoops, sorry guys. D:

So with the main cast established, let’s move on to the crews! I’m gonna be predictable and start off with Devil Theory, specifically with my OCs. *u*

Daishō is a lover of horror media, so he goes all in on being a slasher movie villain! Serial killer who recreates elaborate deaths from his favorite horror movies!! Also involves plenty of knives and butcher themes, maybe.

Sai and Nunchaku tag along as minions, also a bit of a “If we didn’t help him, he might end up worse” kind of way. Cool motive, still murder though. Going by a horror movie structure, they’d get killed off before the main cast (or what’s left of them at that point) can take down Daishō directly.

Bō stays out of this whole mess because he hates horror stuff, especially gory stuff. He might play the role of someone warning the main cast to leave before it’s too late… before getting killed off by Daishō as a “traitor”. Yikes. D:

Now for DOT EXE... probably stuff involving hijacking robots and machines? Like that big incident in the mall in the Child’s Play remake from 2019. All the electronics go haywire and kill people, oh no!!

For my versions of the crew, Twoson and Fourside in particular would go all in on being evil serial killers like this. Like with Daishō, they’re big horror media nerds. Also they both probably kill off the other DOT EXE members when/if they try to get in the duo’s way too. I just can’t imagine the other members being okay with this, like how Sai and Nunchaku are okay with going along with Daishō’s plan. :o

With the Franks, maybe something like the Prince tricking people into thinking they’re getting life-saving surgeries free-of-charge... but then just harvesting them for organs and spare body parts for some experiments the Prince is carrying out. Or otherwise just sending out the Franks to kidnap people for “surgery”. I guess something like the doctor from the Mad Father game, just without the “turn people into dolls” obsession… or maybe have something like that too?! Or otherwise it’s just experiments to improve his skills and eventually advance humanity overall.

He insists he’s doing it for the good of humanity, but, y’know, he’s still tricking and killing people in the process. The Franks here are his minions, made from the body parts of former victims, and like I said being sent out to find more "test subjects".

So then for Eclipse, uhhhh, make them witches I guess?? Has there ever been a slasher with a witch as the villain? Gory magic! Surely there’s been at least one movie with that kind of idea.

Or if not that, then serial killers who leave astrology-themed “clues” at their murders, but really the clues are just to lure in more victims. Heck, combine the two! Why the hell not. Either way, they mostly target men who are genuinely heinous people, especially those who managed to escape punishment/jail time/etc. Basically a “the villain has a point though” kind of thing.

Sometimes they mess up and target a man who turned out to be completely innocent, or even the wrong guy entirely, but they don’t see it as a big deal. You could take this as a “He probably would have done something bad sooner or later anyways” thing, or otherwise “Well, you can’t make an omelette without cracking a few eggs. Or heads in this case.”

And now finally, FUTURISM! I’m thinking psychological horror mixed with slasher stuff! DJ Cyber and his crew basically messing with people before killing them off, stalking them for weeks or even months to get a good idea of their personality, background, etc. and then use it against them.

Maybe even go Saw with it, elaborate traps where they have to earn their survival or literally die trying! If we go with Solace surviving just on his weird luck alone, I can imagine some genuinely hilarious ways he can narrowly avoid death in this situation, lol

I haven’t been posting my usual content or the content on my blog. MY SCHOOL IS WHACK IN MY COUNTRY OK? And I just kept coming across these and wanted to make a kinda short thingy about it. It’s pretty late and not that big of a news anymore but I felt like I had to get it out of me cuz I feel like some people go too far with hate comments.ii

Okay, let’s actually start.

First Imma talk about the sexual allegations against him:

I don’t know if they are real or not. 

We have no way to tell since the person is anonymous

AND IM NOT SAYING IT IS but there is always at least the smallest chance that it is fake

We have no way of knowing.

It is very likely it is real buT there are some sick people that could be exploiting the fact that he left

I am not targeting this person whatsoever if they are in fact, real, but being anonymous stops anyone from finding them.

Basically, I will not send any hate to anyone because there is no way to tell what is happening

And Woojin was FLOODED with hate

This person knew that they might be as well so I understand that if it was real, to do it at a time that people have a a chance of believing them

AND I could be like, did they go to the police? But they won’t say where their from and the reliability of police varies from each country so I get it.

And the super recent company is also sus

The pictures that people are saying that are fake that 10x Entertainment used to justify this isn’t that sus though. These are kpop idols, they take selfies all the time and they don’t post everything so it could be very plausible.

Now Imma talk about the alleged bullying in the group

HERES THE THING

THIS is what I am very opinionated about

What I have observed with my eyes and my mind and no one else (this is my opinion I will not stress this enough)

I see that the members actually like/liked him

Here, I am gonna talk about famous clips that clain Woojin bullied them and some general overall behaviour

Bang Chan, the leader, got along with everyone and I see that he is the one that Woojin looked the most comfortable with and Chan seemed comfortable around him too. I don’t think they had any sus interactions since Chan is the leader and Woojin seems to just be friendly with him.

Lee Know. That clip where he hit Minho is the eye with his elbow was pretty sus. If anyone else did that to him they would apologize, and probably laugh about it. Woojin didn’t do this. He apologized and chuckled about it but not enough for it to be a friendly mistake and even Minho, who was smiling when he got eliminated, wasn’t laughing. There are many factors like if they were tired or not but from what you see and the way it happened was kinda sus and over time Minho and Woojin’s interactions got less and less.

Changbin. This boy just seems scared, ok? I’m not saying he’s scared of Woojin but whenever I see them film together, Changbin avoids getting too close and/or touchy as he is with the other members. Changbin is babie, he is fake maknae, he is cute. And he’s normally clingy with other members and always hugging them, especially his maknaes so for him not even wanting to make physical contact with Woojin is sus.

Hyunjin. Mostly friendly with everyone, even Woojin. He’s soft with everyone in the group and even if he wasn’t the closest with Woojin, they were very friendly with each other. The clip of Woojin chasing Hyunjin and Hyunjin screaming and running IS NOT SUS, I will explain it more later but basically, Hyunjin is a drama queen and if it were anyone else, he would do the same because thAt was the game.

Han Jisung. The more famous clips are of Woojin flicking his forehead. It could be a friendly thing and I belive it is BUT it’s pretty off and I will talk about it later. They sang together and had the normal friendly interactions but there are some clips that show how uncomfortable Han is around him and I will get to the main point of most of that later.

Felix. See look, WooLix was a thing and I wasn’t against it. Felix is nice and cute and sunshine and sweet and got along with everyone. That clip of Woojin wrestilng him and him looking hurt is something I will explain along with what happened with Hyunjin, and I do believe that he was uncomfortable with Woojin sometimes. I would also like to point out that after that 

Seungmin. I have no comment because I haven’t seen any famous bullying clips of them

Jeongin. BABIE. All these clips of members protecting him from Woojin. Look, I believe Jeongin and Woojin were super close. Woojin was even ranked number 1 in the Bro Deuce in Weekly Idol. Anyone that says any bit of it was fake, I don’t believe. If it was, Jeongin being the savage maknae, would’ve put him a few rankings down if he didn’t want Woojin to be number 1. Also, the clip of no one picking Woojin as leader of a sub-unit is also sus but Jeongin was the only one to choose him. He probably felt awkward to he hid behind Bang Chan when he changed. I think that Jeongin actually likes Woojin but the other members probably thought he was a bad influence or smth. 

Okay, about the Running man thing. This was a game and Woojin played hard. Maybe a little too hard I think. But the point of the game was to take others names from their back so chasing Hyunjin and taking his and Felix’s names are justifiable but as I said he went a little too hard so I don’t think he noticed that he hurt them.

He also is very strong. Everyone has seen it that he’s strong. He likes to reinforce it, maybe a complex or something, but I think he uses his strength when it is unnecessary and ends up hurting other members.

Also from what I see, he’s pretty awkward around them and doesn’t know what to do during interviews. I think that he wasn’t able to connect with them properly for the most part so doing normal friendly things/banter (Forehead flicking, and other games and stuff) are taken too far.

Also everyone who says “IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN OT8 FCK WOOJIN” annoys me. Like, I do NOT think it was a mistake for him to be part of the group. He had real talent and brought really good vocals to songs if yall forgot. And in the survival show he worked so hard for them to debut as 9, so people who think Woojin was bad from the very start are very insensitive. They were a family, and I’m sure that everyone was disappointed if his intentions turned bad.

Even Bang Chan mentions someone who broke a promise (It’s most likely Woojin) and he sounds so sad about it(give him a hug)

Final statement: I think Woojin has done something that affected other members but I don’t think he deserves all the shit since he is getting A LOT of shit

a/n: the drought is over....i’m finally posting again gsdjfhsjfh i hope u all like harry potter! i truly don’t know how many parts this’ll be so i guess we’ll see as we go. also i haven’t read or watched harry potter in a lil while so if some of the rules don’t make sense just ignore them (lol plus i can do what i want)

“you know, you don’t have to be the best in every class,” chan says as he slides into the seat beside you at your usual spot in the great hall. you give him a glare, then continue stabbing at your plate of eggs. 

“it’s not the fact that i’m not the best; if someone like seungmin, for example, did better than me, i’d be happy for him! it’s because it’s that stupid felix kid! he never pays attention in class, he rarely studies or does his homework, and he’s always out playing quidditch or visiting hogsmeade or something. he should be failing! not getting higher grades than ME of all people! i don’t know how he does it. i’m in the library like, 24/7, and i take notes in class and i don’t know i just...work harder than him. it’s stupid and unfair,” you rant, ending with an angry huff as you shovel a forkful of eggs in your mouth. chan stares at you blankly for a couple seconds, processing everything you just said. 

“you seem a little jealous, y/n,” he comments, and you glare daggers at him. 

“i am NOT. i just don’t understand how he, of ALL PEOPLE, was the only person in our class who could brew a draught of peace successfully,” you respond, and chan sighs. 

“maybe he’s just naturally really smart. or he’s just lucky. besides, it’s been 2 days since that potions class, maybe it’s time to stop being so bitter about it,” he says, patting your shoulder in comfort. “i gotta go, i’m meeting up with changbin and jisung soon. you coming to the quidditch game tonight?” he says as he stands up and gathers his things. 

“i don’t know, probably not, i have to stu-“

“wrong answer, you’re coming to the game. it’s ravenclaw against hufflepuff, you could at least support your own house,” he tells you. chan reaches over to snatch a piece of toast off of your plate, walking away before you can say anything. 

“i’ll be waiting for you outside your common room later,” he calls over his shoulder, and you glare at his back as he heads to class. it’s moments like this that make you question your friendship with chan. you finish your breakfast, then pick up the stack of books you’d been reading before going to leave yourself. you make your way out of the great hall, heading back to the ravenclaw common room to grab an extra quill and some parchment (chan always seemed to forget his, and you had muggle studies with him later). you whirl around the corner only to collide with someone so hard you’re both sent flying to the ground, your books spilling over the floor. 

“oops, i’m so sorry!” the other person says, and you recognize felix’s deep voice immediately. he begins picking up your books while you sit there fuming, staring at his mess of blonde hair. he stands up and brushes himself off, then reaches a hand out to help you up. 

“sorry, i always forget to watch where i’m going,” he says sheepishly. a faint blush grows on his freckled cheeks, and you hate how cute he looks. you swat his hand away, then reach to take your books from him as you stand up. of all people, of course felix had to be the one you ran into. 

“how’d you make that potion?” you blurt out; you don’t mean to sound so aggressive in your questioning—actually, you don’t mean to even talk to felix at all, you wanted to just leave without a word, but you have to know how he does so well. felix seems unphased at your bluntness. 

“beginners luck, i guess,” he says with a shrug. you squint at him, skeptical of his answer. 

“i don’t believe in luck,” you say. “for real, how do you do it? you’re always at the top of the class, but i’ve literally never seen you set foot in the library…”

“i don’t know, i just kind of show up and do my best. the universe must just like me or something,” he says nonchalantly. “you’re y/n, right? i think we have a few classes together,” he adds on. 

“yeah, we do,” you reply, your voice cold. how could felix be so friendly towards you when you’ve been nothing but rude to him? his laid back demeanour just irritates you more. “anyways, i have a class to get to. i’ll see you around,” you say, before slipping into the sea of students bustling around in the hallways, leaving felix behind.

chan flops into the seat beside yours, sending an apologetic wave to the professor for being a couple minutes late. you slide your extra supplies towards him wordlessly, your other hand continuing to madly scribble notes. 

“oh thanks y/n, you’re a lifesaver,” chan says gratefully. “i got caught up talking about game strategy with changbin and jisung and lost track of time,” he admits. 

“mhm,” you mumble, too focused on the lesson to really pay attention. 

class is about halfway over, and your professor is droning on about microwaves and various kitchen appliances when a tiny paper bird lands on your desk, interrupting your note taking. you turn in your seat to see where it came from only to meet the gaze of felix, leaning back in his seat in the back of the class beside his slytherin friend, hyunjin (who you’re pretty sure is taking a nap). he waves at you, and you scrunch up your nose at him and turn back around. the paper bird won’t stop flapping around, so you shove it in your pocket to look at it later and continue your note taking.

“can i change my mind? i don’t wanna go anymore,” you grumble as you walk to the quidditch pitch with chan, changbin and jisung. you stuff your hands in your coat pockets, trying to protect them from the biting cold wind. 

“it’s just a quidditch match, y/n, it’s not the end of the world,” chan says with a sigh. 

“it is when felix is keeper for the hufflepuff team,” you mutter to yourself. you pull out the paper he sent you in class earlier, creases unfolded to display the black ink on the crinkled paper. felix has crudely drawn (what you assume is supposed to be) him flying around in front of the hoops on the quidditch pitch, with you sitting in the stands holding a book. felix has given you a frowny face, and he’s drawn a little storm cloud above your head. underneath the drawing he’s written, in his sloppy handwriting, “you should consider taking your nose out of your books and doing something fun, aka coming to tonight’s quidditch game ;-).” 

“ooh, who’s that from?” jisung asks, grabbing the note from your hands to look at it. “felix? i thought you hated that kid,” he says before handing it back to you. the three gryffindors all turn to look at you. 

“i do, which is precisely why i didn’t wanna come to the game tonight. especially now—he’s gonna think i’m here because of him!” you complain. jisung laughs at this, and changbin smirks at you. 

“relax, y/n, it’s gonna be fine. he’s just being nice—maybe you should give that a try. besides, the stands’ll be packed, what are the odds he’ll even see you in the crowd?” chan asks. 

“besides, you’re clearly the best at taking notes, so we need you to write down what happens so we can crush ravenclaw next week. no offense,” changbin adds, and you roll your eyes at him. 

“you’re lucky i love you guys,” you say as the four of you weasel your way to the front of the stands. it’s not long before you hear minho’s voice booming across the pitch as he begins announcing the game, introducing the lineup for each team. you duck into chan as the hufflepuff team flies by, not wanting to be seen by felix. he laughs and ruffles your hair before nudging you off of him. 

“relax, y/n, it’s gonna be fine! look, the game’s starting—jisung and changbin, watch the ravenclaw beaters and try to figure out their tactics; i’ll watch the chasers and try to figure out their plays so we can copy them in practice,” he says, and the three gryffindor boys lean forward eagerly to watch as ravenclaw takes possession of the quaffle. your quill scribbles furiously as you listen to the boys’ commentary, taking notes so they can go over them later. you don’t really mind not being able to watch the game; you don’t really care much for the sport, plus your friends always take you out for butterbeer afterwards, so you don’t have any complaints. 

“damn, felix is really good,” chan mutters, and your head snaps up at his name. you watch as felix somehow deflects a ravenclaw’s attempt at scoring—you’re not quite sure how he even managed to make it in time, but you have to admit it was impressive. as hufflepuff supporters cheer in the crowd, felix does some goofy poses on his broomstick (honestly you have no idea how he hasn’t fallen off yet). 

“yeah that was a really good save—too bad he’s not a gryffindor, we could use a good keeper,” changbin adds on, and you giggle at the bitterness in his tone; last year’s keeper and captain of the gryffindor quidditch team, jaebeom, was amazing—after he graduated and appointed chan captain, chan had been left with the task of finding a keeper good enough to replace jaebeom. 

“yeah, we really could,” chan says with a sigh. the game continues, the ravenclaw and hufflepuff teams fairly evenly matched and the snitch nowhere to be seen. one of the ravenclaw chasers flies right overhead, a whoosh of cold air rushing over everyone in the stands as she races away from a bludger. you shiver, cursing yourself for forgetting your hat and scarf. 

“a little chilly over there?” chan says with a laugh as he wraps his scarf around your neck. the small bit of warmth is comforting, and you’re able to keep taking notes for the boys.

“and first-year seeker, hufflepuff’s yang jeongin catches the golden snitch, ending the game with a score of 210-80 for hufflepuff!” minho announces, and the crowd erupts in applause. defeated ravenclaws (you’re not one of them) and ecstatic hufflepuffs make their way from the stands back to the castle. you pass your notes to chan, who stuffs them in his robes. 

“thanks again y/n, we’ll be sure to thank you when we destroy ravenclaw!!” chan says excitedly. “you coming to the three broomsticks with us?” he questions. you shake your head in response. 

“nah, i’ve got a herbology test tomorrow and i’m behind on studying. bring me back some candy from honeyduke’s though!” you say, waving as you head back along the path to the castle. 

you’re enjoying the quiet walk alone in the brisk autumn air; the chatter of distant groups of students mixes in with satisfying crunch of dead leaves as you shuffle along the path. the wind nips at your ears and nose, and you cozy into chan’s scarf for warmth. 

“y/n, wait up!” a voice calls from behind you. you turn to see felix jogging up the path, broomstick clutched tightly in one hand while his scarf trails behind him like a kite string, the yellow and black stripes standing out against the darkening gray sky. 

“oh, hi felix,” you mutter, turning around and continuing your walk. you don’t bother waiting for him to catch up, rather listening to his footsteps and breaths grow louder as he runs after you. 

“you came to the game!” he says, and his freckles cheeks are rosy from the cold. his slightly breathless, and his sweaty hair is blown every which way. 

“nice observation. i was only there because my friends dragged me along though, don’t get any ideas,” you tell him. 

“what, you’re sure you weren’t there to watch me play?” felix teases. “only kidding; i saw you bent over your parchment the whole time. do you ever take a break from school?” 

“it wasn’t for school, but yes, i take breaks. just the other day i walked up to the astronomy tower just to look at the stars, that wasn’t for school, just for fun!” you reply. felix’s eyes widen at your statement. 

“really y/n? that’s your idea of fun?” he questions, shaking his head when you nod. “you need to get out more; i mean there’s nothing wrong with stargazing, but you could definitely use a little more excitement in your life. me and my friends are going to hogsmeade this weekend, you should come with us!!” he says excitedly. you don’t say anything, but you eye felix suspiciously. why on earth would he invite you, when you (admittedly) have been super rude to him? 

“....okay, fine,” you find yourself agreeing—you aren’t quite sure if they’re your words or if someone put you under the imperius curse to say them, because why would you agree to spending a day with felix, your sworn enemy? 

“wait, really? not gonna lie, i was expecting you to say no. well that’s good, i was gonna bribe you with chocolate frogs, but i gu—“

“i’ll still take the chocolate frogs,” you say, and you find yourself actually smiling at felix. he smiles back, but you see his smile falter slightly and his brows furrow in confusion. 

“i thought you were a ravenclaw,” he says, gesturing to your scarf. 

“oh i am, this is chan’s,” you mention casually. you look down at the scarf (you’d forgotten you borrowed it, to be honest), and in doing so you miss the way felix’s face falls. “i forgot to give it back.”

“oh...uh, is he, um, are you, you know….like, together?” felix asks, and the question really throws you off. you almost laugh out loud at the absurdity. 

“what?? oh my god—no. definitely not. i love chan, but..no. he’s just my best friend,” you say, and you can practically see the relief wash over felix. 

“ah okay, just curious,” felix says, laughing nervously. you continue walking across the grounds, almost back at the castle now. you’re still keeping your distance, but you’re no longer walking on the opposite edge of the path as felix. maybe he’s not so awful; it’s not his fault he’s better than me….no, what am i thinking? i still need to find out how he does so well. he’s perfect in school, he’s somehow amazing at quidditch, and he’s also gifted with those looks?? something doesn’t add up, you think to yourself. 

“felix!! i caught the snitch!” an excited voice yells from behind you. you and felix both turn to see jeongin sprinting down the path, grinning ear to ear. 

“yes!! good job out there, innie,” felix says as he beams at the younger boy, and you melt a little at the sight. “i’ll see you in class tomorrow y/n!” felix says, waving as he and jeongin head to the hufflepuff common room, leaving you to question what the strange bubbly feeling in your stomach is.

Blue Lions Route

So I finished the Blue Lions Route! 

Why I chose Blue Lions: Okay, so when the first trailer was dropped, I thought Edelgard would be my favorite. I liked her character design and I just thought she was really pretty, but Dimitri was on my radar because lol they named a FE character after my chinchilla, nice. I ended up picking Dimitri, because what I knew about his character arc appealed to my sensibilities and I thought he was the nicest during the House introductions, talking about his classmates.

Who Was My Dancer: Felix. I thought he looked cute in the outfit, had the potential for magic anyway as well as swords, and had the avoidance to not be nuked by enemies with his pitiful defense/resistance. He made a great dancer! From my understanding, it might’ve been a bit of a waste, because of gambits, but I didn’t really understand them or use them much in this playthrough

Who Did Byleth Marry: Dimitri... not so much because I ship them as characters as I just liked Dimitri the best. Don’t @ me 

Which Dimitri Do I prefer?: Pre-timeskip! I wasn’t a super fan of either character design at first, but I just do not enjoy how self-loathing and mean Dimitri was for a good chunk of the timeskip. I feel like the fandom calling that “feral Dimitri” is a bit of a misnomer. When he returns to being is usual self, it was a welcome change

General Thoughts: I liked the route! It was a good-enough personal arc for Dimitri to keep me engaged, despite some of the mechanics getting in the way of the story. I wish Dedue had been more important to the post-timeskip portion. Mostly, though, I was surprised how short the route was; I’m used to 28ish chapters, so I’m a bit nervous to see how long Crimson Flowers is if that’s the shortest route. I liked all my house characters and had a good time. 

The Blue Lions Characters: 

Dimitri: I think he’s probably the most well-developed, consistently done character in the entire game. I love his character, his supports, and his empathy. There have been a lot of other people who’ve done a great job analyzing his character, so I won’t bother, but A+ boi

Dedue: I like Dedue and his role as Dimitri’s retainer, but he’s not particularly appealing to me. In general, I don’t like the gap moe that comes with strong, silent types that have a feminine side. I think he was a bit of an improvement from Benny (who I liked but didn’t pay much attention to), and I was so grateful to make him not a Fortress Knight (War Master or whatever Dedue did a lot of good punching) because that is probably my least favorite unit type.

Felix: I had a good idea I’d like Felix, because I tend to like tsunderes regardless of gender, but from how the fandom memes about him, I was surprised by the depths of my fondness. He often gets labelled as an asshole, but I would be more generous and say he’s merely got an abrasive side, like a sponge. He had some good, cute moments in his supports and I think his presence added to the story of Azure Moon. I also like that he’s like the only character that has different endings if you recruit him to a different route.  

Sylvain: I know he can be a bit of a controversial character because of his playboy ways, but I like him! I like horse-mounted units and units that can use magic, so he was gonna be a winner for me. I also understand why some people don’t like him and find him to be sexist, but he didn’t particularly read that way to me. To be fair, I find Sylvain’s backstory to be relatable because I myself have a similar situation, of sorts, with my older brother, so I’m just inclined to be more lenient about his more negative traits. I think it hurts Sylvain’s likability that some (or maybe all) of his supports aren’t pre-timeskip locked to demonstrate he really does change his ways, but I think his supports are good and that he’s never irredeemably awful to anyone. 

Ingrid: Another hot take: Ingrid is probably my favorite BL girl lol. I think she’s cute, she’s got some gap moe to her with being so stern but also a food-loving goober and super excitable about knight stuff. My friend said she never was able to get Ingrid to be usable, but my Ingrid rocked. I feel like she had the most connections to the story of BL of the girls, and I wish they had used her more. 

Ashe: It’s a toss-up whether he’s my second fav or Felix is, but I love Ashe. I’m pretty pro archer characters (sans Bernadetta), but Ashe is also just so sweet and caring, despite some of the things he’s been through. I think he’s very cute and a great unit. I might end up marrying him to Byleth if I playthrough BL again (which I will to get DLC supports)

Annette: I like her, but I don’t think she really stands out. I feel sorry that she has to deal with Gilbert, but honestly you could erase Annette from the main story and it wouldn’t change a thing, sadly. I think she’s cute and quirky and I like her spunk, but there’s really not too much to say about her.

Mercedes: I love Mercedes, but similarly to Annette, she doesn’t add as much to the storyline as I’d like, outside of the thing with the Death Knight, which is almost a footnote tbh. I like her character design and her supports and she’s an all-around great unit and character. 

Gilbert: Ugh, I spent a lot of my time complaining about what a whiner he is. As I mentioned, not a fan of Fortress Knights, and Gilbert not only had a base speed of 2 but would regularly miss with an 70-80% hit rate. As a character, I thought he had some good supports, but in general I hate that Dedue took a backseat to him, and that Gilbert is a horrible father. I view as Gilbert a good model for Dimitri, in that Dimitri should not follow Gilbert’s example in how to express and process grief and guilt. Another reason I dislike Gilbert is that I got locked out of his support chain with Catherine, and that’s just annoying

Technically, since I’ve recruited every character except Claude, Edelgard, and Hubert (and I guess the DLC, but now I’ve unlocked them) and almost every associated support, I could write out my thoughts on them, but I’ll save that for the appropriate routes. 

Assorted Bulleted Thoughts: 

Hubert: Man, he just popped up as a cartoonish villain to defeat all the time, and I digged it haha. It became tradition to have Ingrid fly in and to kill him in one hit without taking any damage. It was great. I felt bad that Edelgard had Not A Word to say about Hubert’s death. 

Edelgard: She was built-up so much as the person that had to be defeated to end the war, but there was a lot of dicking around (and all the time we had to go back to homebase for long periods of time) that Edelgard didn’t really get the time to flesh her out as an antagonist or make me, the player, feel particularly motivated to defeat her. Especially when you learn she apparently had nothing to do with the Tragedy of Duscur, and Dimitri is pretty lukewarm about having to kill his stepsister, once he clears his head. Though, that final animated cutscene was top tier

Rhea: I think there should have been one chapter either before or after fighting Edelgard where you rescue Rhea, because as it is, the way her return is handled is incredibly sloppy and emotionally dead. Not even a scene where Flayn and Seteth greet her. Lame

Marianne: She was my favorite and first recruited unit. Love her. That’s all 

I wish all the Blue Lions had been able to reach A-support with each other, especially Sylvain. I think there woul’ve been a lot he could have gained as a character especially. 

It is dumb as hell male Byleth can’t S-support Dimitri, or any of the male Blue Lions, for that matter. If you could add one male student from GD and BL to be bi, I would’ve picked Dimitri or Ashe from BL. Everyone in GD is pretty hetero, so I will arbitrarily choose Ignatz

Chap 12. ‘Absinthe’

Back on the hotel, you come across Lucas who went for some ice or something. He takes you and Doyoung to his room where everybody else was. Chloe and Blair are smiling at you from afar. You already texted them about last night so probably their imagination run wild when you appeared with Doyoung.

Anyways, Lucas has set a cup in your hands so yeah, it seems like it's time to drink. This time you drink faster than the night before and you can tell. Let's say you've been 10 minutes at the party and you feel already tipsy. Doyoung is talking to Johnny. Renjun, Jisung and Mark are together in some corner drinking. Jisung looks at you and you smile at him. Renjun is looking too now, so you show him the middle finger and laugh at the face he makes. He ends up laughin a little too. You're kinda bored actually. But is not like you want Lucas to start one of his drinking games so, you just wait there for something to happen. A little bit later Johnny appears right in front of you.

-Hey.

-Hi Johnny. -You smile at him.

-You look cute.

-Oh, wow, thank you. You look cute too.

You pull him aside a little to look behind him. Renjun eyes are fixed on you. Not the first time you notice that kind of behavior from him. You're not stupid. But you have to admit that conciously or not, you look for him aswell. You know what they say, there's just one step from hate to love right? That's probably why (even if you don't want to admit it) kissing Mark the other night actually felt so good.

-Skyler? -Johnny is waving at you to bring you back.

-Oh. Did you say something?

-Just asking you if you wanted another drink. -He laughs.

You look at your cup. There's a little bit left but you drink it in one go and give him the cup. -Yes, please.

You take a look back at Renjun. He's still watching. You make a face at him and he's the one showing you the middle finger now. You mouth a mute 'fuck off' at him and he laughs. Damn, he looks cute. You hate him so much.

-Here. -Johnny hands you the drink. Making you turn so you can pay him some attention.

-Thanks. What did you bring me?

-Oh... Doyoung told me to bring anything with vodka so...

-Aww, he did? He remembers, cute.

He laughs uneasily.-Yeah...

-Anyway, thank you. -You pull his shirt so he would bend down so you can give him a peck. He smiles and is about to speak again when someone pushes you and you spill your drink on him. -Omg, Johnny I'm sorry. -You turn to your back to see who pushed you. -Jisung??

-I'm sorry Skyler, Renjun pushed me!

-Ah, did he?- You say, looking for Renjun. He's laughin running away with Mark to the same corner he was before. So childish.

-Anyway I should go to my room and change. -Johnny says.

-Sure. Sorry again. -You apologize.

-Noona I'm really sorry. -Jisung apologizes too.

-It's okay Jisung, it's not your fault.

-Oh, well, then I'm gonna go back to the guys. -He says slowly walking away.

-You tell Renjun he owes me an effing drink.

You sigh, kinda frustrated and go check yourself in the bathroom, just in case that drink got to your clothes somehow. But you're fine. Looking good. When you come out Renjun is waiting for you.

-Wow, are you a stalker now?

-Here. -He says handing you a cup. -Your ‘effing drink’.

-What did you put here? -You ask as you smell it.

-Vodka, absinthe and blue tropic. It should taste fine.

-Sure, and absinthe? Probably would kill me after what I already had.

-Well, yeah. Killing you was the plan. We're enemies, remember?

There it is, your heart skipping a beat. Perhaps you are gonna die tonight indeed. -Okay then. I'm too drunk to fight my destiny. -You say as you atempt to drink that whole cup in just one shot.

-Hey, easy. -He says as he stops you. You cough and he chuckles. -Skyler, maybe you should change your ig name if you can't actually handle absinthe.

-Shut up. -You say as you slightly wipe your mouth with your wrist. -It's your fault I coughed.

I won't shut up, this is funny. -He says laughing.

-Ah.... -You say dramatically as you lean on the walls and slowly walk like that to the aisle where the bathroom is.

-Skyler? What are you doing? -He says following you. He looks kinda worried. You're fighting not to laugh at him just now.

You stop moving once there's nobody else at sight. He's gonna try and comb your hair with his hand so he can see your face better and check you're fine but you hold his hand and pull. His face 2cm away from yours. He's looking into your eyes, waiting. So you slightly caress his lips with yours and watch him eagerly try to kiss you. You smile at yourself a little and he frown, so you give him a peck on the lips and he gives you another one in return. Now is when you kiss him for real. At some point he's so into it he drops his drink and you laugh without breaking the kiss. You only stop kissing when Johnny catches you both when he's heading to the bathroom. He apologizes and goes away. You look at Renjun and both of you start laughing.

-I think you just broke his heart. -He says.

-At least I could shut you up. -You say, giving him a last kiss.

-Yeah... I guess you did.

So yeah you're now at your hotel room. The minute you wake up you feel the butterflies. Actually you drank a lot last night so you're not entirely sure it's a hungover thingy or just the real deal.

Like the other day after you kissed Mark playing 'too hot'. You felt somehow like this after. You wanted to kiss him again, pin him down etc... Like you were so mad at him you were actually thirsty for him if that makes sense somehow. But then Doyoung appeared and you know the rest. This time Doyoung was there but it didn't matter.

You remember something about the guys wanting to go visit more of the city or something like that but honestly you just want to stay there in bed. A shower wouldn't hurt tho. You even wash your hair and everything. You're back in bed just checking IG when you see Renjun's post. He looks cute. And you're sober. That's weird. Mark wasn't cute that way anymore in the morning. You get out of insta and throw your phone away. Then look at it for a while. Not knowing very well what to do. You pick it up and throw it away a couple of times till you finally do something.

Ok, so. Renjun is in your room. Actually he's on your bed, with you, cause you're gonna watch a movie. You need a drink. But you don't wanna be one of those people who drink before lunch. Anyway the movie's starting. It's one of those christmas movies they always come out with in every channel when november's ending. You haven't watched this one but you already know how's gonna end. You'd say you hate them but actually you kinda like the feeling while watching them. It reminds you of easier times. When you were a child and would watch them with your family. Anyway it's kinda cold so you go under the covers.

-You can come too if you want. It's cold. -You offer him.

-Oh, sure. -He takes off his shoes and joins you.

-Ah... By the way if you don't like the movie...

-No, it's okay. I know christmas movies are cheesy but I kinda like them.

-Huh... -You say, thinking to yourself. Then you make yourself comfortable.

Renjun is like really focussed in the movie but you can tell it's totally an act. 'Cause you're doing the exact same thing when actually you could cut the air with a knife right now. You're pretty tired from last night so as the movie goes on you can feel more relaxed and your head is instinctively leaning more and more towards Renjun's shoulder. His hair smells so good.

-Ah. -You say. -I'm just too sleepy to care anymore. I'm gonna rest my head on you. -You say as you do so.

He chuckles. -Sure.

-Hey, I'm shy but not that shy ya know. -You say looking at him from his shoulder. You're as honest being sleepy as when you're actually drunk.

-You're not shy at all. -He laughs.

-I think I am. -You say, pouting to yourself.

He chuckles again. -Okay. -He says, grabbing your hand softly. You interwine your fingers with his in response.

You're blushing and he's too, but you're both looking at the tv so who can tell. You're so comfy there, it feels so safe. You end up falling asleep at some point. When you wake up movie's credits are showing and Renjun is asleep too. You realize you were kinda hugging and blush again. You don't know if you should let it go or just keep hugging him pretending you're still asleep. You choose the second option and close your eyes again. He wakes up a little bit later and have almost the same reaction as you. Only he just caresses your face softly. You open your eyes slowly and look at him. Then you move so you can be closer to his face, and after looking at him from there for a second you just kiss him.
