Hello, I am a non-binary AMAB (TME?) and I am getting on a bigger effort to be an actual ally to trans women and I have read and listened to a great deal of trans women about various subjects. I am here to ask something: Should I support and be an ally to "baeddels"?
I have been researching about it and apparently it's a derogatory term for transfeminists who talk about their experiences with transmisogyny but it also means trans women who are antagonistic towards transmascs, I don't know which one is true. I would totally support the former but not the latter. I have an hypothesis that the latter does exist but the term has been used too much that people who don't hate transmascs get hit with that. (Sort of like how white libs use "Hotep" against black people.)
There is also the prejudice about people who self-describe as baeddels hate AMAB enbies and I don't know if that's true, because I do want to listen to what these people want to say but I also feel anxious about if they hate people like me or not.
#on the off chance this is somehow real you do not need to identify as amab and its a past tense word#baeddel means ‘girl who’s meanies to (trans) men’ the same way feminazi does#misogynistic exaggeration to complain about women calling out misogyny#additionally#like 70% of ppl who jokingly call themself baeddels are nonbinary#im just gonna pretend the hotep thing isn’t there. lol#tbd
