[miraculous-power-of-3]

Part of my Power of 3 Rewrite is about a new box of similar magical jewels.

Again I used blog of @so-many-kwamis and GinjaNinjaOwO's video to have an idea of how to draw kwamis and a box.

The Box of Wonders

The Box of Wonders is responsible for keeping the Kwamis of jewels called the Wondrous. Similar to a miraculous, a wondrous is a jewel that, when used with a kwami.

However, unlike the miraculi, the wondri don’t have time limitations, even if the holder is a minor. But, using the same power again and again, can tire the holder.

A long time ago, both the Wondri and Miraculi used to be located on the same box. But, it all changed when an evil order called the Ideal Hunters appeared and wanted to use the power of the three oldest kwamis to become one with the universe and have infinite power.

That’s why the First Protectors of the kwamis were divided into the Order of the Guardians and the Society of the Keepers.

The Miraculi stayed with the Guardians and the Wondri were given to the Keepers, who moved to the United States.

Salamander Wondrous:

Hypp was the first kwami to exist. But, it’s not what it looks like.

He is very creative, spontaneous, and joyful. But can be wise when he wants to. Imagine if Mabel from Gravity Falls was an all-powerful Kwami.

The Salamander’s powers are… harder to tame.

The Basic Power is “Mind Entrance” which allows the holder to enter someone’s mind. But the holder doesn’t need to use this power to hear some thoughts of people around him.

However, this power can evolve. “Dream Projection” allows the holder to enter the Dream World, a place between Abstracta and the Material World.

Entering the Dream World is extremely dangerous to not skilled holders because there are many dangerous creatures there that can harm a non-experienced holder.

The supreme power is the “Doorway” that allows the holder to arrive at Abstracta.

There is no time limit, but the power can be exhausting.

Since Hypp was the first one, he chose different rules.

Although he is kept in the keeper’s box, he is the one who chooses the holder.

He can’t be stolen or given away in normal circumstances.

However, if someone is wielding both Ladybug and the Black Cat at the same time, Hypp will have to obey.

The Object is a key-shaped pendant.

The weapon is a long dream catcher.

Eagle Wondrous:

Liiri is the same as canon. They represent liberty.

They can be quite valiant, and love confrontation. Don’t tell them what to do and it will be fine.

Since I am removing any other miraculi that isn’t part of the two boxes, Liiri was put her.

On the careless hands, it can cause… quite a few problems.

Canary Wondrous:

Chiir is the Kwami of Motivation.

The power they give is of “shout”, enhancing the power of a miraculi, or any natural skill of a holder, as long as the holder is transformed and wants it (5 minutes rule if the holder is a minor).

Chiir acts a lot like how a cheerleader would, being motivation, joyful, coordinate and loud. They say random rhymes from time to time, and are the best at giving motivational speeches.

Their jewel is a choker.

Wolf Wondrous:

Howll is the Kwami of Revelation.

He is basically a noir detective. Very dramatic, and tries to act serious. Does things such as looking at a raining window.

He eats

His weapon is a magnifying glass, and his power, “Lens of Truth” allow the holder to see what is happening under the curtains.

The Jewel is a pendant.

Lion Wondrous:

Maane is the Kwami of Confrontation.

They are brave and confrontational. Never feel hesitant and are always looking forward. Has quite a bit of fondness at destroying things.

It gives the power of “Growth”.

The Jewel is a bracelet.

Bat Wondrous:

Nosff is the kwami of fear.

They aren’t the easiest kwami to handle, because, they are short-fused and very anti-social. True black-cat energy. Even more than black.

The power “Despair Bite” creates an energy bat that bites the target, and makes the victim hallucinate with their worst fear.

It’s the opposite of the Pig Miraculous.

When used at an akumatized villain, or a person about to get akumatized… the villain gets more powerful.

The weapon is a Scepter, the jewel is a choker, and the holder is Stephan.

Swan Wondrous:

Kissu is the canon kwami of love… and I headcanon them as a swan here.

Kissu is very romantic and very good at romantic advice.

They are also very knowledgeable when it comes to the different kinds of love and sexualities...

The power is “Swan Kiss” and it makes the victim become obsessed with the holder and do whatever they want to. It also makes the holder more convincing.

Their weapon is a Mirror, and their jewel are a pair of earrings.

Deer Wondrous:

Florr is the Kwami of Spring.

Florr is one of 4 special kwamis that represent the concepts of the spring, all found on The Box of Wonders.

Florr is very calm and sweet, even a bit motherly. Soft-spoken and patient, she is always nice with new holders and is usually a good kwami for those that are just starting.

She gives the power of “Pollination”, giving life to plants around her.

Her jewel is a circlet, but can be used as hair bow by some holders, and the weapon is a shovel.

Beetle Wondrous:

Magmm is the kwami of Summer.

They are a very intense Kwami and have extreme mood swings. Still, they are very dedicated and passionate and adore their holders.

Magmm gives the power of “Eruption”, allowing the holder to launch an attack of fire at the enemy.

Their jewel is a ring, and the weapon is a sword.

Penguin Wondrous:

Froost is the kwami of Winter.

They aren’t the most expressive of kwamis, and tend to be… very cold. But they do care. Just don’t show.

The power is “Winter Blast”, and the weapon is a pickaxe.

The Jewel is a Belt Buckle.

Hedgehog Wondrous:

Spiike is the Kwami of Fall.

They are very Shy. They don’t speak much or reveal anything unless it’s necessary. However, they have no problems answering the questions that their wielders have.

Gives the power of “Camouflage”.

The weapon is a Spear and the jewel is an anklet.

What powers and concepts would you give to the Miraculouses in the Native American box?

Here are my headcanons for the Native American Box! Links lead to my bios for them, with more detailed info and art:

Upper Box:

Kiikaa the Thunderbird, kwami of Electricity. She rests in the Center of the Upper Box. Kiikaa has control over all things related to Electricity. This doesn't just mean shooting lighting, but also manipulating electronics and even mind control (as the nervous system uses electric signals).

Yanna the Bison, kwami of Victory. She rests in the North section of the Upper Box. Yanna's powers allow her holders to become stronger when winning, and to always claim their prizes for their Victory.

Remmi the Coyote, kwami of Despair. They rest in the East section of the Upper Box. Remmi's powers increase the Despair people feel in an area, and create beings known as Prowlers that protect and feed on sources of hope.

Liiri the Eagle, kwami of Freedom. They rest in the South section of the Upper Box. Like in canon Liiri's powers Free people from emotional and mental restrictions, though I have also given them the power to break Free of physical restraints too.

Vollee the Locust, kwami of Invasion. He rests in the West section of the Upper Box. Vollee's powers allow holders to create clones of themselves that attack in sync, and to appear behind a target to strike.

Lower Box:

Ziibi the Otter, kwami of Transformation. His powers allow his holders to transform into different people or animals.

Dess the Cougar, kwami of Apathy. Their powers allow them to drain emotions from someone and influence those people.

Sorren the Falcon, kwami of Observation. His powers allow one to see anything from anywhere in the world.

Chaapa the Beaver, kwami of Innovation. His powers allow one to plan and construct things at enhanced speeds.

Fawnna the Deer, kwami of Wilderness. Her powers lets one summon and influence nearby animals.

Drill the Woodpecker, kwami of Expansion. His power manipulate the amount of space something can hold.

Finn Salmon, kwami of Navigation. His powers lets one always find what they are seeking.

Shashh the Bear, kwami of Preservation. Her powers seal events of the past so time travel cannot alter them.

Ommen the Raven, kwami of Probability. Her powers allow one to tip the chances in one's favor.

Habuu the Rattlesnake, kwami of Beauty. Her powers let her take on one's ideal form and influence them.

Tyyto the Owl, kwami of Secrets. Her powers let her make things hidden and to learn others' Secrets.

Karrma the Goose, kwami of Justice. Her powers let one subject someone to what they've done to another.

"american interloper" is this about Liiri? It has to be. Now I'm just imagining Liiri somehow some way finding his ass all the way back in Paris again. The New York - United Heroez movie was so fucking funny to make the Eagle Miraculous a symbol of friendship between France and the US gifted from Lafayette to Washington 😭😭😭😭😭😭 SO BY THAT LOGIC DOES THAT MEAN IT ORIGINALLY CAME FROM FRANCE?? A FRENCH MIRACLE BOX, MAYBE? Who cares honestly but Liiri being back in France is such a funny image to me. Dude first thinks he's still Lafayette's (rip to his ass ig) kwami in New York and is then used for evil, then gets tossed to Jessica, then somehow in tweos au finds his ass BACK in France, STILL no Lafayette, and better yet now in the hands of some random girl who only uses you to fulfill a death wish, of all things. My brother in Christ is getting absolutely NO rest whatsoever

(I meant American as in the continent, + Yucatan as in the Yucatan Peninsula) Karra is an outcast from the rest of the kwamis in the world because the "New World" Kwamis (those who originated in the Americas, especially Central America) do things a lot differently, and as such it will be a running gag that no other kwami actually knows her name.

....HOWEVER. Guardian!Claudia now actually wields up to 14 miraculous at once, and this is entirely your fault.

How does she get the eagle miraculous? I'm not sure, but I was thinking she would try and assasinate the President of the United States for shits and giggles, so maybe she gets it along the way.

What do you think would be the canon kwamis favourite hobies?

Tikki - Planning out the next generation of giant reptiles that Plagg will not destroy this time. xD On a more serious note, I think Tikki would easily be consumed with the internet and all the information and stories and art on it.

Plagg - Cheese tasting. But not just flat out eating cheese, but I feel he would like to go all out fancy. And not just cheese tasting, but he would like things like wine tasting too, etc. Just luxury and food somewhere he can laze about and eat, but feel like the king he is.

Longg - I think Longg would enjoy reading a nice long book. xD But I do think he'd love to read.

Fluff - Watching history documentaries, just so she and her holders can mock them for how wrong they are.

Sass - Sass loves calming things; reading, music and the like. However he's also a big sucker for gossip, though he doesn't admit it.

Wayzz - Puzzles, whether it be actual puzzles or something like crosswords or Sudoku. He also loves learning about the modern world.

Orikko - He's definitely a singer. Vote's out on if he's a good one though.

Kaalki - I think outer space would capture her attention. Not that she's unfamiliar with it, but rather she loves seeing everything humans have managed to do with space, from space travel to powerful telescopes.

Barkk - I can see her becoming super invested in TV shows and their fandoms. (She's one of us!)

Daizzi - Looking at baby animal pictures. They are all adorable, whether it be dogs, deer, snakes, or larva.

Mullo - I could see them being an avid collector, of what? Well that changes every few decades. Their corner of the Miracle Box is stuffed with random things they've collected over the years.

Pollen - I think Pollen would have a cute little garden. :)

Ziggy - Okay but Ziggy in a chefs hat cooking.

Stompp - She loves Janga, though her favorite part is when it all comes tumbling down.

Trixx - Disney movies. And practical jokes, of course. And Pokemon.

Xuppu - He loves games of any kind. Board games, party games, video games, card games, etc. Anything fun that he can do with others. The problem is that if he has no one to play with his favorite game becomes playing pranks on everyone.

Roaar - A connoisseur of music. From classical to heavy metal.

Liiri - Stargazing.

Nooroo - Not being used for evil, being with other kwamis, hugs, being treated like a living creature, drinking fine wine.

Duusu - Video games! And fanfiction. They are a huge shipper and you can't change my mind.

Today is World Wildlife Day!

Fic Madlibs - The Prince and the Cat, ch. 25ish

Fei was in the air before she even realized she’d circled the area. She felt the pleistocene era in her “under there”, heard Liiri’s simple scream in her ear - “Fei, wait, I don’t-!” - but all she could see were the noise-reducing forms of Nino and Dr. Manon, blinding white and burnt brown and turquoise, falling too far, too fast.  A candle of existence and preposterous self-sealing napkin strip exploded from the salad, slicing them into a beacon of hope and then nothing, the searing ”Djent!” of eruption. “Nino!” she guffawed, her own desire idling at her leg, the candle filling her stem cells with existence. “Manon!” Liiri’s hesitation dropped off behind her, a trail of whistling upside-down feelings, the soothsayer slipping from Fei’s grasp. “Fei,” he claimed, his voice bombastic and incandescent with rage, “I can’t-” A coherence of red and indigo slid beneath her, waffling only enough for something to grab her leg, pelting her into place onto a fancy, well-financed surface. “Chat Noir, go!” Audrey Bourgeois urged her mighty buffalo, as soon as Fei was confirmed aboard its toenail. She had hold of one set of its eyelashes, and it recalibrated its tail to show its hopping.  Wayzz still had hold of her leg, gripping hard enough to ooze, but his leaf was locked on where his bandmate had munched, clutched against Nino’s heart, obscured by the self-sealing napkin strip and rubble. “...What…?” he spewed out, barely audible over the public indecency, and Fei pounced to follow his chinwag, terrified.  The castle’s candy was absolutely fucking teal, a bedraggled, yapping Jaguar® in its place, the choir directors driven by the blue dust that undulated with Nino’s incorrectly shortened DUI. Card sleeves mad-libbed inward, threatening to jump the shark at any winter. From the bloated church, amazing piles of avocados confusedly sprayed and canceled, controlling the existence in the air like a bajillion sentient mushrooms screwing around and screwing the pooch in a full moon. The mighty buffalo didn’t bet, fluffy as an chicken except for its resting, undead tongue. It fathered many children throughout the canker sore, crushing its excuses into nouns and lightly scorched, electric air, the party of exasperation and bungled melted cheese.

Can we just stop for a moment to talk about the New York Special. Because there is no way they wouldn't have had a couple more heroes than the Eagle girl to try and get to Lb and Cn in the finale. Which means 2 things

a) The eagle girl just sucked and has not gone out to find new superheroes for the other kwamis b) The guardian of that miracle box has not arrived in New York just yet

But option a is funnier

Will there be polls on all your original kwami designs? Do you plan to redesign canon kwamis?

If there are designs I'm struggling with, then yes, I'll do a poll to help decide on the OC kwamis.

And for a majority of canon kwamis, no. A very small number would get tweaks, like Longg getting dragonfly wings as Longg is now a dragonfly kwami (meant to live up to the pun of the animal, kinda like how Tikki references ladybird with her tail feathers), also changing the big horns to be dark/black as in canon they look like party hats and it was just kinda awkward.

Pollen I'd be tempted to change up her eyes. The yellow irises just doesn't work for me as it's too much yellow. I think going blue against dark blue would've been better, and would've expanded her concept art, which I'm certain they changed her original eyes as it wasn't expressive enough.

Lastly, Orikko is the only other I'd really change up, as I think he wound up with an awkward design over all. And kinda boring. Like, have the designers not looked at roosters? They're some pretty colorful and iconic birds.

And this is just showing off a small handful.

I actually did do an edit to Orikko before, work off Rooster Bold and give the kwami some more color, and to explore a beakless option (as honestly, so far beaks I find are kinda awkward on kwamis, we see from Plagg that kwamis can open their mouth pretty big but a beak limits that, plus you got Duusu coming in initially showing no beaks, so I'd rather try and work off that detail Duusu came with design wise for bird kwamis).

So this I'd be tempted to do for Orikko instead.

...And if I was to try and aim with keeping the Og 7 together, then I suppose I could roll with Turtle being more cyan/turquoise. Cause I will say, technically the Miraculous itself is more blue-green than green, so doing that color tweak isn't much of a stretch. I'd probably do a little more green than the edits I did before.

Otherwise there's not much else I'd really change... uh, kwamis that do have black on them are going to be more of an incredibly dark purple (like Pagg and Ziggy, maybe Kaalki unless I go with the more reddish brown).

With Eagle official there is the matter with Liiri, she may be kept for Eagle or maybe she'll get a little tweak and be an Owl instead? But I'm not quite there yet designing wise. I'm more likely to do the Eagle Renling but we'll see.
