Weird day. Started the morning texting Ben like it was 2020. He initiated the night before and when I saw it at midnight, I thought I was dreaming something so mundane (though pretty standard for my dreams).

I learned all about Chris Week’s odd family life and we had a good time swapping horrible, old pictures of ourselves. Maddys right though, he does talk a lot about himself.

I think too many people are putting waaaaay too much on this episode. Like its clearly meant to show the whole team coming together to work on defeating Devoe together. I'd be more concerned if this was happening and Iris was sitting on the sidelines with nothing to do. The writers clearly want Iris engaged in the plot and being a key factor in helping the team defeat Devoe. Barry working with his friends for one episode doesn't destroy what Iris means to Barry for goodness sake.

This is very true! I’m personally glad Iris has been more active this season and well-incorporated. It’s just about the only improvement. 😂

Also while Iris does often help Barry unlock new powers the show has had other people do that. Barry learning how to move through solid objects like walls was unlocked with the help of Eobard/Wells. I get that people are scared and frustrated but you’re making things worse by saying things like Iris is the only one that helps unlock Barry’s powers. Other characters helping Barry does not diminish Iris’s role on the show imo.

Hunter/Jay also taught Barry to throw lightning. Regardless I have a feeling fans will be less angry after the episode airs.

Why has all the previous times other characters who were not Iris helped Barry unlock his powers there wasn’t this concern? I cannot believe some of you got me out here wanting to defend “OTF” in a way lol. Like we come across real weak as a fandom if everytime Barry does things with other characters that must mean the writers think Iris is not important. Maybe instead of focusing on what Barry is doing with his friends people should focus on what Iris is up to this episode.

They’re technically Iris’ friends too. 🌚 But otherwise, you’re correct that this is another chance for Iris to stand out on her own, like 4.18.

I think the fear comes from negative interpretation of spoilers, which our fandom is great at and has been practicing since S1.

I'm not looking forward to the finale ep tonight. Even though I'm excited about Dawn, I'm not excited about the ep being called We Are The Flash. Candice took so much flak for that line. It ramped up people's hate on Iris and WA but now watch the writers turn the line into an OTF thing with Iris and Joe maybe getting crumb and people will suddenly love the line.

I think the episode will include the entire team (not the so called “original” team) when referring to “We are The Flash”. It doesn’t bother me much because Barry did say to Thawne/Wells, Caitlin, and Cisco that “We were all struck by that lightning.” back in season 1. So, he’s always considered everyone helping him to be The Flash. 

It does suck that Candice had to put up with so much hate for the line in the beginning of the season. It was ridiculous, even if people didn’t like the line, Candice isn’t the one who wrote it! But, things changed recently when Grant made hats for the cast and crew that said “We are The Flash”. So, people have already given up on their anti Iris crusade in terms of the line and are trying to appropriate it to be an entire team thing rather than a WestAllen thing. I would like it if the episode doesn’t go along with that, but I think it will. Though, I do think it will acknowledge WestAllen being the core of the team.

Hey girls, here is some info about knives. I've provided what to look for when shopping and a variety of knives I've found a liking to through personal use.

When choosing knives take into account the durability of the item. Most cheap "anodized" knives are just neochrome, brands like MTECH make knives that are visually appealing, but would fail in a defense setting. This comes down to personal preference though and whether you decide to carry.

Now, it's hard to go wrong with a simple fixed blade knife if it has been made with a full tang (the metal used for the blade is extended into the handle), they will be study and dangerous no matter what. The downside is that they're hard to conceal and carrying one on your belt may not be acceptable in your demographic. Weight also factors in.

Folding/Pocket knives are easier to conceal, yet the strength of the knife is drastically reduced dude to the lack of blade support. Stay away from pen knives and non-locking folders for defense and utility. Imo if the company doesn't have a lifetime warranty, you shouldn't buy it.

Making sure your blade is clean, sharp, oiled and tight are the most important things when caring for a blade. You want zero wiggle between the blade and the handle for defensive purposes.

When buying a knife, be sure to comply with local laws, for example: CO limits knives to 3.5in for concealed carry, and any blade over 3.5in that is concealed or carried must be for professional, hunting, or outdoor work. Some states do not allow button deployment, balisongs or out the front stilettos.

Remember to keep your prefered style of deployment in mind. The Emerson Wave is the fastest and most reliable deployment system to date. I carry an Emerson blade in my waistband and it deploys every time I want it to.

It is recommended that you don't use a balisong for defense unless it is of meticulous quality. Though they are slow and challenging to maneuver, once open the blade is in place and has no where to go supposing the screws don't give.

When looking for the right knife, be sure to take into account the blade thickness, customer review, size, material and the maker. Here are some knife companies with good quality control:

• Kabar - Dozier, Mule, Classics, Snody, Shark Bite and Jaroz series. You ain't gonna break these unless you want to.

• Kershaw - Leek, Chive, and Emerson CQC. Wont let you down, always a little hard to hold.

• Spyderco - Tenacious, Karahawk, Endura, Matriarch, Salt, Euro Edge, Crow, Chicago, Introvert, Dog Tag. Very interesting designs that will tear you to shreds, always great steel. Highly recommend.

• Ontario - RAT, Spec Plus, Survival, Ranger Kerambit. They sharpen easily and stay sharp. You'll be suprised how much you like it.

• Boker - K bit, Wildcat, Urban Trapper, Rocket. Decent, none of their knives are suited for heavy work.

• Esee - Avispa, Izula. Best, can't go wrong.

• Cold Steel - Ti-Lite, Recon 1, Espada, Hide Out, Secret Agent, Delta Dart, all their machetes are great. Solid.

• SOG - Seal Pup, Seal Team Elite, Snarl, Tomahawks. Just mean as fuck.

• Emerson Knives, really cool deployment called the wave, check it out.

• Lightning otf knives, also sells knuckles

• Buck Knives - 110, 112, classic fixed blades. Can't go wrong here.

• Fox Knives - On some next level shit, if you know you know.

• Viper Tec Knives
