Lightning Cat Scapolite

‘Lightning Cat’ was just a name she ended up with but that’s pretty much what she’s been called since. Those wings are made of electricity!

Almost always seen wherever Jess is.

Chimera Lightning Cat Scapolite (Nega Fluo mimicry)

Since the fusion by itself is just Lightning Cat but bigger, Nega Lightning can use a different form for variety! Of course, it’s never a perfect mimicry for reasons but she can manage a little if she has Lightning helping her. This appearance is possible after Nega Lightning returned with a stable form!~ Less of a mixed up mess, a balance of light and dark though she falls apart if one element isn’t kept equal.

October at the tree - Realm Guardian Lightning Cat (Dream Beast/Lightning Cat)

A fusion that only appears under special circumstances because it’s got a lot of power between light and electricity. While not as big as False Nega Fluo, she has learned over time to control her powers better and use a form that can move better then her original one.

Technically just more friendlier then Nega Lightning Beast.

Nega birthday chaos (Part 2)

(Part one)

“So basically….”

Lightning listening intently as Nega spoke, explaining the situation with Jess as it was at the moment. The Nega Crystal had been stolen and then given to Jess who had absorbed it due to the force and was now lurking with the skies. Without the gift from Nega, Jess can’t control her darkness and it’s worsened by using her dragon form. Her mere presence has summoned thunderclouds that strike lightning bolts all around making it difficult to get too close if you dare to explore the thundering skies at your own risk. Nega Lightning also explained the strange phantom that she had noticed deep in the chasm. But added it probably wasn’t anything to worry about at the moment.

“And now we need to save her from herself, but it won’t be easy.” Nega Lightning finished.

“Well I wouldn’t expect much less from a dream beast. They’re quite powerful, after all.” Lightning beamed with glee. “And it’s only natural Evil Jess would do this, too. She knows nothing can really go against the dream beast.” She added as she scratched her chin a little. “But of course, there has to be a way to get her back to her senses…” As she began pondering the options, Nega seemed to get an idea.

“We know there’s only one real option to overpower her.” Nega spoke up. “She’s powerful, yes, but so are we when we’re together.” She remarked, with a snort. “You saw the form we can use now. It’s likely all that can take on Nega Jess Dragon at this point. If you’re willing, that is.” She added with a nod. “It won’t be an easy task to reach where she is, but it’s all we have at this point. So what do you say?” Nega asked.

Lightning seemed to ponder the question a bit, then held out her hand as her form turned pure white. Nega Lightning smirked, changing forms but becoming completely dark as she placed her hand under the glowing white one. Where the two met, green and purple shines brilliantly.

The two lights merge into one, a familiar form taking shape as four electric wings spread open and the fusion takes off to the skies once solidifying. The journey would be treacherous but if it meant dealing with the corrupted dream beast, it was worth the risk.

The evil managed (Part 1)

Intro

Jess was hanging out at the tree like she usually was when she noticed Evil Jess approaching followed by an odd white feline whose wings were made of black flames. It wasn’t a cat Jess had seen before, or even at all! She only knew of Lightning and Nega Lightning and they were nearby just taking a nap. So it was quite peculiar to see a different cat coming into sight that wasn’t either of them. What plans did Evil Jess have this time? Surely just another pointless idea she had came up with as most of her plans usually didn’t end well.

Evil Jess stopped near Jess, her jagged smile ever present in the usual pony form she appeared in. She had no teeth but what she lacked in teeth she made up for in powerful dark magic. “Don’t you like my new creation?” Evil Jess smirked as she motioned towards the bright white cat whose eyes were as dark as night against their fur. Dark stripes showed where markings would be but otherwise they had no other hues besides a gem hidden on their back. Jess squinted just a little. “Your newest creation?” She replied, glancing over at the napping Nega Lightning.

“Of course! This is my latest creation: Nega Flame Cat Scapolite. Now without strong reliance on darkness to exist, this Scapolite is a true Nega Cat’s Eye!” Evil Jess explained. “Just marvel at her pure white Nega mode, with eyes pitch black and flames burning with dark intentions. Unlike my..Past creation..She does not melt into darkness!” She cackled ominously as Nega Flame remained silent. “Sure she is more..Fiery..Then I was expecting but! That is simply a bonus.” Evil Jess grinned with malicious intentions. Jess seemed doubtful of the balance this CE had. The extra fire can’t be normal.

“So why are you here?” Jess asked, getting up from her sitting down position and opening her wings slightly in dragon form. “Hehehehe…Well you see! I figured the best way to fight you was by yourself! My helper here will keep your cats distracted while I focus on my target.” Evil Jess responded as Nega Flame simply meandered over to the two sleeping Scapolites. “You know how well your past attempts went. Haven’t you learned anything?” Jess told Evil Jess as she sighed in exasperation. “Oh, yes! I’ve learned a lot over those failed attempts! Which is why I know now that your power comes from the crystal under the tree and the keys themselves.” Evil Jess suddenly gained a sinister smile, as she looked at that one tree.

“You wouldn’t dare destroy my tree.” Jess growled in response, wings opening just a little more. “Try and stop me~” Evil Jess laughed as the Nega crystal manifested nearby and chaotic energy pulsed across its surfaces. A dark crystal full of shadowy essence that seemed to allow her to use dark magic. A relic from the world she once lived in before she remained in the current one. By now, the two Lightning cats had jolted awake and faced Nega Flame directly. The flames had worsened too. It was slightly concerning, but likely nothing to worry about. Jess stood her ground as she prepared to duel her evil counterpart once more before she could destroy the tree.

Lightning Cat Scapolite

(Technically a Cat's Eye Scapolite)

A mysterious CE that once appeared in the dream world with RG Jess and has stuck around since. While light-based as expected, her secondary element is electricity. She is skilled in using it but rarely fights and is mainly very docile. Roughly the size of a house cat, and very nimble on her feet. Generally found on the branches of the tree or at the treehouse.

Often seen rarely, she usually stays close to Jess and will often aid her if help is needed! She is an adept user of the Trio Crystal and knows how to channel it's powers to summon Jess or fuse with her to form a False CE called the Dream Beast. A powerful fusion who can easily destroy things in combat! But rarely seen outside of special events.

Lightning Cat, as that's the name she usually goes by based on her element and appearance, is a dream CE. She can travel dreams with ease and open rifts to travel if necessary. She treats Nega Lightning as a sibling, even though the dark clone only slightly resembles her. They are very close, and sometimes both will fight together to protect Jess!

Overall, Lightning Cat is not a commonly seen CE but she does appear on occasion for stories/events. Nega Lightning is essentially just a dark clone of her with differences to tell them apart.

Special story arc - Saving Lightning

Jess was sitting at the trees roots, drawing in the grass with her claws in dragon form humming a small tune when she felt..Strange. Her head turned towards the distance where the chasm was. Did she..Hear something? It had sounded like loud cats meow. Dark Jess, who was napping in her puffball form, didn’t seem to have heard as she was still asleep. Why had the meow sounded so loud to her then? She frowned a little, but then continued to draw in the grass. But she felt..Tingly. But she looked back again, frowning a little. She then noticed the spot between her magical wings was starting to glow suddenly like she was being summoned somewhere. And then without warning, she was gone! Just vanishing into a swirl of dream energy until she had faded into nothingness.

When she opened her eyes again, she found herself near the chasm. Mildly confused; Mildly concerned. She was in CE form again, but she hasn’t figured out how to change into it herself freely so how did she become it this time? It must be the gem that was on her back now. It likely must resonate with the Scapolite; Lightning Cat. Which must mean..Oh dear.

Jess turned around fully to the chasm and spotted the dream cat sitting at the edge quietly. But her ears shot up when she heard the others footsteps and her head lifted slightly as her yellow eyes opened slightly. Through the static of her vision she could see the Dream Beast in cat form coming closer though clearly concerned and worried as she slowed before getting too close. Jess tilted her head a little. Why was Lightning Cat in savage mode? It wasn’t a state she usually took, unless…She brought someone back who needed the dark boost to reform properly.

Lightning Cat tried to focus, but the static proved difficult as she stood up and took a fighting stance as she hissed softly and electricity crackled across her shadowy form. She didn’t really want to fight but she knew the Dream Beast could save her and dispel the darkness. But when she lunged, she felt a greater darkness suddenly take the hit instead. She staggered back with another hiss, then tried to focus again.

Nega Lightning Beast! Standing amidst the static..Protecting the Dream Beast? But she had called for the Dream Beast herself! Had Nega Lightning heard the call too and decided to intervene? She lost her focus again and lunged once more. The greater darkness easily pinned her down with one hand, and growled at her harshly before looking at the Dream Beast. Then Nega Lightning Beast snorted and absorbed the darkness herself.

When Lighting Cat stirred back awake..Nega Lightning Beast was still staring intently at her from the hand. She could see herself reflected within the dark gem the other had. She was back to normal. But why would her evil clone save her from herself instead of letting the Dream Beast? But the other beast just licked her face, moved the hand off, then left as quickly as she had appeared by diving back into the chasm and vanishing from sight.

Jess was just as confused. But in some way, maybe it was Nega Lightning saying thanks!

Special story arc - Nega Lightning returns

A few weeks had passed since the incident. Lightning Cat had waited. And waited. But deep down, she knew Nega couldn’t reform on her own. She picked up the gem again into her claws as she sat at the tree yet again. Should she really take drastic measures yet again? It’s not something she wanted to do..But it had to be done. She sighed softly, cleaned off the surface again, then stood up and opened her wings before taking flight and heading towards the chasm which was still opened. The dark crevice was still ominous as ever and it hasn’t changed much since the big fight. Even the shadows within it still lingered around the edges.

Lightning Cat landed at the edge of the chasm; Peering into the depths yet again. She knew no one was within it this time. Just a vast darkness that remained eerie and full of shadows. A domain where the darkness was at home and dwelled without fear of light harming it. Yet once more she would have to go down into it. She opened her wings again, still holding Nega’s gem in her claws, and leapt into air before diving into the darkness with only her wings lighting up the walls of the chasm yet again. A stream of light falling into the ominous shadows that once brought a terror to the tree but had been defeated. The risk was there. She knew it. But it had to be done.

Lightning Cat carefully landed on the ground far below, folding her wings close as they gave off the only light within the depths. Here was where she defeated her friend. Or was it fiend? The one made of shadows; The one made of darkness; The one who always brought some form of terror at times but was also a formidable ally when she felt like it was necessary. She wasn’t even a true Cat’s Eye! But Nega Lightning was still important even if she was just a shadow of sorts. A CE who seemed to counter Lightning. A balancer of sorts. Without her Lightning just felt empty. She missed her.

Lightning Cat glanced around at the darkness as she felt it grow closer. The shadows almost seemed to move nearer and nearer; Light was easily overpowered if it didn’t move back out. Lightning Cat swallowed, held the gem closer, then looked at its surface. It was very reflective and also reflected her face. Darker color then her own and instead of a light streak it had one of darkness. She felt the surrounding darkness grow nearer…Closer…And a dangerous side of hers starting to stir awake. But she knew it was the only way to bring Nega Lightning back. Even if….She’d need help afterwards.

She stared at the gems reflective surface still. Even as her form darkened and the darkness itself worsened around her. Her blue eyes starting to turn yellow in the reflection as she then glanced up at the chasms opening. As the last bit of blue became a glowing yellow, she managed to send a call out for the Dream Beast before she was overcome by the shadows and electricity danced across her fur and Nega’s gem fell to the ground as it quickly charges with darkness and sunk into a puddle of ferrofluid that it had summoned before hands with yellow claws reached out and dug into the ground as the usual shadow cat pulled herself up and the goo gradually stabilized its shape.

Nega Lightning shook off a little, then stared at the familiar feline who was standing before her. But now a similar shadow with electricity shining across the fur. Without a word, the savage Lightning Cat turned around and took flight back out of the chasm. She landed at its edge, sat down, closed her eyes, and waited for the Dream Beast to follow the call that had came before.
