Wisdom Teeth
Summary: bucky takes care of you after getting your wisdom teeth removed.
word count- 1081
y/n woke up in a reclined chair that was covered in plastic, fluorescent lights flickered and she groaned from it stinging her eyes. a woman in matching blue shirt and pants with a paper mask pulled over her nose walked over to where she lay. " how are you feeling y/n? finally waking up, i see." she narrowed her eyes slightly at the nurse. " wath i not awake? i thought i wath." she said stumbling around the words. the nurse smiled. " you were napping for a bit while got our work done." " what wor-" she tried to talk around the gauze filling her mouth. the nurse stepped to the side of her chair. she reached her hand into y/n's mouth and pulled a red wet clump from one cheek, then the other. y/n looked up at her with disgust. " why am i bleeding!" " you had your wisdom teeth removed. your gums will be bleeding for a while, dont worry." you blinked a few times, your body suddenly feeling very heavy, letting yourself fall back against the chair. after placing new gauze in its place, the nurse stepped away leaving y/n with her thoughts. using her tongue, she counted her teeth. " one, two, three..." she mumbled. several times she had to start over because she couldn't figure out where tooth number fifteen started and tooth fourteen ended. while she was busy counting she didn't notice the nurse back with a wheel chair. the nurse pressed a lever that lifted the back of the chair to an upright position. " c'mon, your friends are here to take you home" she helped y/n stand up and sit down in the wheel chair. "-was counting." she complained, but the nurse just pushed the chair forward. the sudden movement made y/n's head spin and she gripped the arms of the chair. ' slow down!' but when the nurse didn't, she realized she musnt have said anything out loud. when y/n was brought into the waiting room of the hospital, bucky was at the front desk talking to the receptionist. she handed him a zip-lock bag filled with something and a few papers. the nurse had helped you out of the chair as bucky greeted you. " how are you feeling, doll?" you tilted your head in confusion" i thought i was a human." y/n proceeded to pinch a piece of skin to check that they were indeed still made of flesh. bucky shook his head. " they drugged you up good, huh?" he wrapped his covered metal hand around your waist and guided you out of the hospital. " you remember what you came here for?" bucky quizzed " of course. i sold them my teef-" y/n mumbled. you reached for your mouth, the gauze was beginning to bother you, but bucky took your hand in his " ah, ah. dont go messing with your mouth, you might mess up the stitches." " bu' mouf hurts' " you complained with a frown. y/n and bucky reached his car, Sam was waiting, his phone in hand. " we'll take care of the pain once we get home." he promised. you nodded. " can i drive?" you slurred reaching for the driver side door. " um no, id like to live please." Sam said as he laughed. you noticed Sam had his phone in his hand and he followed you with it. bucky opened the back seat and made you duck your head so you wouldn't hit it. " get in back with her so she doesn't try anything.." " why cant i drive?" Sam said back. " you didn't have to come with me, but you wanted to film her right?" Sam acquiesced and the three made their way home.
FRIDAY announced their return as they stepped out of the elevator into the compound. bucky still supported y/n as she walked, Sam followed, phone at the ready in case your drug attled brain came up with any more comedic ramblings. tony and Bruce were looking at a white board when Sam came up to them. it was also tonys idea to get y/n on camera after getting surgery, he had done the same when peter got his wisdom teeth removed the previous year.
" you guys have to watch this!" Sam said excitedly as he handed tony his phone, " just hit play.
the recording showed y/n in the backseat, she was writing something with her finger in mid air while she spoke " but the symbol for iron is Fe, and man is the same as male. so technically, iron-man translate to Fe- male. that makes iron-man a woman." then all that was heard was Sam and buckys laughter.
tony paused the phone and tossed it back " jokes on all three of you, peppers made that joke five times since mark II." bucky had taken y/n down one of the hallways that led to her apartment.it was so everyone that lived at the compound had a private space. he opened the door and helped y/n sit on her bed. she kicked her shoes off and pulled them under her. she tried to pull her blanket around her shoulders but it was stuck under her. when bucky came back with a glass of water he helped wrap the blanket around her. " 'kay, the doctor gave me this list to help you recover. " he opened the zip lock bag and pulled a pile of gauze out along with a smaller bag of capsules. " " first i gotta take the gauze out."  he had a piece all folded up at the ready. " open up doll.." so she did
" i miss you." bucky gave y/n a confused look as he reached into her cheeks to pull the bloodied gauze out. " what are you talking about, im right here." she shook her head. " no. we shouldn't 'ave broke up." she said, mouth fill of fresh gauze. bucky winced ever so slightly, knowing it wasn't right to talk about that subject with you inebriated. he handed y/n a pill and helped her take small sips till it went down. " we- we can talk about that stuff later, right now you should get some rest." y/n laid down, wrapping herself tighter in the blanket, and was soon asleep, the medicine quickly taking over. bucky watched her for a minute until her breathing evened out. he bent over, pressing a quick kiss to y/n's head before closing the door behind him as he left.
Part two
it was a few hours later since bucky had left y/n passed out in her room. bucky had spent all evening replaying those words in his head. thanks to the serum, he was able to hear when there were movements coming from y/ns room, and bucky went to go check on here, and more importantly, get some answers
bucky and y/n had dated for a while after she joined shield a while back, and bucky wouldn't admit it to anyone else, but when y/n broke things off after a measly four weeks of dating, it hurt.
bucky knocked on the semi open door of y/ns room and waited until she acknowledged him " hey, come in." she sounded much more sober than the last time they spoke. y/n was currently folding up a piece of gauze and tucking it into her gums where the teeth had been recently removed " whaths up?" she tried to speak around the cotton
" just wanted to check on you, see if you needed help." he said casually, " looks like the drugs wore off. you were acting pretty crazy for a while before." he said with a smirk.
" and i know the guys aren't gonna let me live down whatever i did to embarrass myself this time." she agreed. bucky sighed as he took a step inside the room further, " actually, i was hoping we could talk about something" he asked nervously, but y/n didn't seem to notice this and simply pat the spot on the bed, so bucky sat down
" before you passed out, i was changing your gauze, you said that you missed me. like, when we were dating.." y/ns eyebrows knit closer together " i did?" bucky nodded y/n shrugged " i guess i was just feeling sentimental. " she did remember the good moments they had together
" you also said you wanted to get back together. and i wanted to know, do you?" the question pained the both of them, and there was a silence that filled the space before y/n shifted in the bed " theres part of me that wishes we could, but i broke up with you remember?"
bucky nodded " i still think it was a sad excuse-"
" i know it was. but its the truth, my only experiences with guys lead up to me getting hurt. all forms of love ive witnessed only ends up with heartbreak, i was only trying to save you the trouble of getting attached and getting hurt like i did." she admitted.
"for what its worth, the last thing i ever want is to hurt someone, and how do you know if you never give us a real chance?" he asked
" you're right, and maybe once i dont have too many holes in my head, we could try again?" y/n asked softly. bucky leaned forward and kissed her forehead " id like that."

Blinding Fear
Prompt: Just throwing this out here but you can never write to many storm centered hurt/comfort fics with our resident writer who gets too distracted by work to heed the warnings of his s/o or to pay attention to the changing weather.
Paring: Poly!Hamilsquad X Reader
TW: Storms, swearing, fear, aggression, violence(?), mention of blood, anger and hurtful words, angst?
A/N: Hey guys! I’m probs in a mania tonight, explaining why I’ve written and posted three fanfics in the span of a few hours. Anyways, this should be the last one tonight since I have shit to do tomorrow. I had a lot of fun writing this, and I hope y’all enjoy it and find some sort of solace within it. As always, if something triggers you, let me know so I can tag it! I want you to feel safe when reading my work! I love all of you so much! Happy reading!
Word Count: 2803
“Alex,” you say gently, trying to catch his attention as he typed away on a document. He didn’t look up, his eyes still trained. “Honey, don’t forget to come home early today, okay? I looked at the weather…”
His typing paused, and he glanced at you, leaning over to press a chaste kiss to your cheek. “I know, sweetheart. Thank you for the lunch. I’ll see you at home soon, okay?”
You smiled softly at him, kissing his lips softly before you finally stood up to your full height and adjusted your top. You lovingly ran a hand through his hair before you left his office. On days when the weather had been forecasted to get bad, you’d stop by his office to remind him of the thunderstorms. He never liked to admit it, but they triggered him. They were his weak point.
John was next to get home, tugging off his jacket. The wind had picked up over the course of the afternoon. “Hello, sweetheart. How was your day?”
He approached you and joined you on the couch, pulling you in for a brief kiss. “It was good, you?”
He grinned at you. “It’s good now.”
You snuggled up against his side as you fixed your attention back on the television.
“Have you heard from Alex at all?” You asked suddenly, and he glanced down at you.
“No. Have you?” You shook your head in response, and he frowned.
“I’m sure he’ll be home soon,” you muttered, but you still felt nerves tug at your gut.
Laf was next to get home in his pair of dark blue scrubs, curly strands of hair hanging in his face.
“Long day?” John asked with a smirk, and Laf rolled his eyes.
“You have no idea!” He leaned down and kissed John, long and sweet, before he kissed your cheek. “Where is our Alex?”
You shrugged. “I’m sure he’s on his way.”
Laf nodded and went to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. You pulled your legs up beside you and cuddled even closer to John. You texted Alex, asking him where he was, just for good measure.
It was when Herc got home that you really began to get nervous. You could now hear the wind howling outside as it pulled at Herc’s scarf. He shut the door behind him, shaking his head from the cold. He put his scarf and coat on the rack before he went over to the two of you and gave you each a kiss. Laf came out of the kitchen, a cup of tea in his hands. He probably made it after he made the coffee. He’d always been more of an herbal type of person. He gave Herc a gentle kiss, and a soft smile graced his lips when Herc took a sip from his mug.
“Earl Grey?” He handed the mug back to Laf, who smiled.
“You know me so well, babe.” He leaned in and eagerly met Herc’s kiss.
When they separated, Herc looked around. “Where’s Alex? He should’ve been home by now.”
His words hung heavy in the air. You knew he was right. Alex should’ve been home forever ago.
“I… I’m not sure… I reminded him at lunch today, and he’s not responding to my texts.” You admitted as you checked your phone again. Still a blank screen.
“Merde,” Laf swore softly, and Herc squeezed his shoulder. John scrolled through his phone, tapped it a few times, then pressed it to his ear. You all held your breath, then let it out in disappointment when he didn’t answer.
“We’ve gotta go find him. Now,” John was adamant, and you nodded in agreement. You needed to find Alex before the storm and get him home.
Laf sat his tea down on the side table, and Herc pulled his keys from his pocket. All of you grabbed your coats and were quick out the door. Herc drove quickly towards Alex’s office at the Law Firm. It was when the rain started to softly pitter patter against the windshield that your breath caught. Laf rubbed your arm in understanding.
As soon as the car was in park, all of you were jumping from it and running towards the door. And you didn’t care that you looked like soggy, desperate mad men. Alex was in danger, and that was all you could think about. You didn’t stop at the secretary’s desk like usual, and you didn’t pause to converse with Angie when she greeted you. You didn’t even pause when Mr. Washington called out your name. You were on a set path.
You threw open his office door, the first there, and panic gripped at you when you saw the lights were out, the blinds were drawn tight, and the room was empty. Your boyfriends paused behind you, then John shoved past into the room.
“‘Lex!” He called out, quickly moving around. “Alex?!” His voice was frantic, and he was met with a soft whimper from behind the desk. He walked behind it and crouched down. After a moment, he popped back up and nodded at the lot of you. He had found him. You let out a breath you knew you’d been holding, and you moved forward. You crept slowly around the desk and found Alex curled up in a ball, his face pressed against John’s stomach. The man that usually cared if his tie was slightly off kilter was now on the floor, crumpling his perfectly ironed suit. It broke your heart.
“Alex,” your voice was soft as you joined them on the ground. Herc and Laf stayed behind the desk, not wanting to crowd him in such a state.
A soft roll of thunder could be heard from outside, and he whimpered again, curling closer to John. You rubbed his back soothingly as John held him.
You needed to get him home. He’d feel safer there. But you didn’t know how to.
“I… The storm…” He tried to speak, but his voice came out tight and strained. You ran a hand through his messy ponytail. How long had he been curled beneath his desk?
“I know,” John murmured to him, and Alex pulled away to look up at him through teary eyes.
“I was about to leave when… when I heard the wind…” He whimpered when the thunder grumbled, a bit louder than before. You were losing time to get him home.
John shushed him. “I know, sweetheart. I know… But we gotta get you home.”
Alex gripped at his shirt, his hands tight. “Outside? No, John… Please, I can’t. I can’t face the storm, please-”
John pried Alex’s hands off his shirt and held them, pressing kisses to each of his knuckles. “I know you’re afraid, but your pills are at home, and you usually feel more secure there. And we’ll be there the entire time, okay?”
When Alex didn’t respond, he moved to get up. Alex panicked and latched onto him again. “Where’s Herc? Where’s my Hercules?”
You moved out of the way and Herc took your spot. Alex’s wild eyes settled on him, and he was quick to wrap himself around him.
“I’m right here, ALex… It’s okay,” he whispered as he rubbed his back. After Alex’s breathing had calmed down a bit, Herc stood up slowly with him, Alex holding fast.
“Don’t worry, honey. It’s a short walk to the car. You’ll be in my arms the entire time, okay-”
“The-The storm, Herc-” Alex’s voice was frantic.
“I know. We can make it. I’ll have you the entire time, okay? You can do this.” Herc sounded sure, and Alex took several deep breaths before he nodded. Herc’s grip on him tightened, and he started to walk towards the door.
This wasn’t the first time this had happened. There had been a few storms none of you had been prepared for. His work environment knew about his past and his fear of storms, and they also knew all of you and even Mr. Washington would beat the shit out of anyone that had something to say about it.
Herc’s steps were deliberate as he carried Alex through the building, all of you flocking them. A few gazes lingered on you as you passed, but you only focused on Alex. You could see that it was pouring as you neared the glass doors, and from Alex’s tense posture, you guessed that he knew this too. It was when Herc stepped out into the storm that Alex lost his Moxie and began clawing at Herc.
“No! Hercules! No, please! Let me go! Please, don’t make me go out! Please!” He cried and pleaded like his life depended on it, and he squirmed and fought, but Herc’s hold was persistent. Laf unlocked the car. Since you’d been through this before, you knew that Laf would now drive. Herc and John would try to hold Alex down and keep him sane in the backseat. You would sit shotgun. And that’s what happened, only, this time, something went wrong. Herc was fighting to buckle Alex in when a bolt of lightning jutted across the sky, and Alex went batshit. He lost his mind to the blind panic. He ended up hitting Herc in the face, taking him completely by surprise. Herc’s hands hesitated, only for a moment, but that was all he needed. Alex scrambled from the car, evading any hands that reached for him, and he took off towards the building, John in hot pursuit. The rest of you followed, but John was the closest. Alex was just a hair away from the doors when John tackled him and pinned him to the ground. Alex cursed and screamed, reaching desperately for the doors.
“Fuck you, John! Fuck you!” He screamed out bitterly, clawing at the pavement. “I hate you! I fucking hate you! Get off of me, you fuck! Let me go! I can’t believe you’re killing me! You’re a fucking murderer!” To any untrained eye, it would look like rain, but you knew it was tears that ran down John’s face as he pinned Alex down. It was hard to see him like this. “I’ll fucking kill you! Fuck you! Someone help me! Please! Don’t let them take me! Please! I can’t die! It’s too early! I-I’m not ready! Someone, please! George! Angie! For fuck’s sake, Thomas! I didn’t think I’d make it this far… I can’t die now, I can’t… I can’t…”
Alex had stopped struggling as he openly sobbed beneath John, and all of you helped slowly pull him up and drag him back to the car. He had road rash on the palms of his hands from being tackled and his fingernails were bleeding from him clawing at the pavement. All of you were sopping wet. He struggled, swore, and cried the entire car ride home.
When you finally made it, you knew you were approaching the hardest part: getting him inside. The storm was in full swing. The thunder was so loud that it shook the car around you. Rain pelted down from the sky. Lightning was the only lighting available since the sun had set. Laf and you had gotten out first, and you waited until Herc and John had signaled they were ready to open the door. As soon as you did, Alex went rabid. He even went as far as to bite John, who swore sharply, but to his credit, he didn’t release him. Thunder boomed around you, and Alex howled. He thrashed in their hold and even Laf joined in to hold Alex around the middle. You shut all the car doors and followed them. They moved slowly, each step a war.
“Please, don’t let them kill me, Y/N,” his screaming had changed and his eyes met yours, begging you sincerely. “Please, don’t. You love me, right? I know you love me! They’re going to kill me, but you… you can stop them! Please, help me!” You bit your lip and looked away. You were already helping him, whether he could see it or not.
When you didn’t reply, he turned bitter. “Fuck you, too! I knew you didn’t love me! I knew it! You’re just going to let me die? Fuck you! I won’t miss you, then. Maybe, when they lay me in the ground, you can tell them how you signed my death certificate yourself!”
His words were sharp like the cutting rain, and they pulled at your heart like the wind stripped the trees. You knew he didn’t mean it, that he was lost in his fear, but it hurt nonetheless.
“Just kill me already!” He cried out desperately as the rain drilled down. He stared up at the sky for a moment, still struggling. “Why prolong the inevitable? Just let me die, please? Make it quick! Can’t you see I’m suffering? Put me out of my misery, please, please. What have I done to deserve this? What have I done?”
You finally made it to the front door, and you held it open as they struggled. However, as soon as Alex saw the sanctuary, his struggling seemed to be in the direction of home. As soon as they crossed the threshold, his body went slack, and he stopped rambling. You went off to find the pill bottle while the others tried to stabilize him. When you came back, he was wrapped in a blanket and pressed against John. He looked so small and vulnerable. Laf was holding a warm cup of tea. You knew he had decided against coffee since the caffeine could add to his panic. It took some coaxing, but he finally took the pills and began to sip the tea. Thunder rattled outside, causing him to wince and curl against John. Her sat on the other side of him, seeming to hide him from the world. You moved forward, seeing Alex’s body language moving towards sleepy. “Hey, let’s get you into some dry clothes, yeah?” You asked softly, his cruel words still chipping away in your head.
His eyes darted up to yours, unsure, but then he nodded. You gave him a reassuring smile, and you helped him stand. He clung to you as you led him down the hall, through the bedroom, and eventually to the closet in the bathroom. The storm wasn’t so loud on this side of the house, and that helped to calm him. You carefully helped him remove his soggy and somewhat bloody suit, leaving it crumpled on the floor. He could be upset about it tomorrow. You held him up as he slowly tugged on a pair of sweatpants. He let you pull Herc’s hoodie over his head, and once it was on, he was quick to pull you into an embrace. He buried his face in the crook of your neck, his breath quick and warm. He said nothing, he just held you there briefly. Eventually, he pulled away, and you were able to lead him towards the bed. The others had already gotten changed and were waiting in bed. You helped him crawl up to join them, giving him a kiss on the cheek, before you went to change. You stripped as fast as you could and carelessly threw dry clothes on, eager to get back to him. The storm still raged outside, but his meds were kicking in, and he was safe inside from it. You grabbed your phone and headphones from the nightstand, racing to opening the playlist you’d made him. You placed the headphones over his ears and turned up the volume, blocking out the storm. You could tell it was working by the way he relaxed against all of you, and his eyes began to drift shut. In the blink of an eye, he was asleep. These episodes took a lot out of him. Once you realized he was finally safe, you felt tears fall down your cheeks. Herc pulled you against his chest without a word. Seeing Alex so afraid got to you, no matter what you did. Seeing your loved one so distressed and being unable to ease his pain crushed you, all of you. The four of you whispered to each other for a bit, discussing the night, sharing your feelings, comforting each other. Eventually, you found enough peace to fall asleep.
In the morning, after the storm was nothing but a blurry memory, Alex would profusely apologize, despite you telling him it was unnecessary, and it seemed like he would spend weeks trying to make it up to you all. It didn’t matter, though. You loved him. Nothing he ever did would make you stop loving him.

The Silent One - Part Five
THIS IS A RE-UPLOAD
You can fine the other parts HERE Synopsis: You are caught by Negan and taken to your new home, The Sanctuary Ships: Negan x Reader Words: 1,536 Warnings: Cursing, Kidnapping, sexual references, reference to Genocide
***
You were sat in a black car beside Negan. You had your arms tightly crossed over your chest and you were looking at the dark treeline outside. The low rumble from the engine was the only sound in the car. The crescent moon was beginning to make it’s decent towards the dark earth. You calculated that it must be around 4am.
“Are you gonna just sulk out the window like a fucking teenager until we get there?” Negan said in an indignant tone. He was tapping a small tune on the steering wheel. You could feel his intense gaze on your neck. You kept silent but let out a sigh.
“You seemed awfully verbal earlier. What were the words? ‘Jesus fucking Christ’?” Negan said, there was a humorous edge to his voice that let you relax a little. Only a little.
“Bastard.” You spat. A walker zoomed past your window and was gone in a second.
They had taken all of your weapons from you when they had found you. You had been in total shock and didn’t retaliate. Now you were here, in a car with the precise person you wanted to avoid.
“She speaks!” He said loudly. The car bounced slightly as they trampled a walker.
“My previous statement still stands.” You said shortly. Negan let out a low chuckle that sent an electric like shock through your bones.
You were biting your already short fingernails subconsciously. It was a nervous habit that you had picked up from kindergarten. It hit you in a sudden wave that all of those people were probably dead, or the dead. You turned to face the road fully now. The headlights cast a cold light on the road ahead of you.
“Don’t you want to know where we’re going?” Negan asked innocently. Beside him in a small alcove in the side door was Lucille, perfectly lodged so that she was just visible enough to be menacing.
You shrugged and didn’t reply.
“Come on, Princess, give me the joy of your conversation.” He said sardonically.
“Bastard.” You said once again. He didn’t deserve your conversation. Murderers don’t deserve to be treated like anything but what they are: Murderers.
“You’ve got a feisty mouth on you, don’t ya?” Negan said with a smile. “I don’t know if I find it disrespectful or hot.” He paused for a second, as if thinking. “Probably the latter.” You could practically hear the smirk on his face. You felt an involuntary heat rise to your face so you turned back to face the window.
“You know that when we get home-” He started saying in a solemn tone before you interrupted him.
“Wherever you’re taking me, it’s not my home.” You said shortly, you turned to face him for the first time. You saw a flicker of annoyance across his face, he quickly masked it and shook his head slightly.
“Well, you ran away from Alexandria. So where is your home, Doll? Huh? Answer me that and I’ll take you there.” Negan sad finally. “You give me a straight answer and I’ll turn right around and we’ll go there.” He was looking at you, his dark eyes searching yours. You thought and deliberated for a minute or so but you came up blank.
You turned back to the window without saying a word.
“Okay, and as I was saying; when we get back to the Sanctuary you’ll have to be punished for your disobedience.” You turned to face him, your mouth a gape and staring at him incredulously.
“Punished?” You said, a frown crinkling your features. Your hard eyes were confused. Was he serious? He nodded and swerved around a walker. “What are you gonna do? Spank me or something.” You said as you huffed back in your seat like a hormonal teenager.
“That can be arranged.” He winked. You shook your head and turned back to the window. “You won’t be in the Dark Room for long. Only for a few days if I can pull some strings; which I can.” He said in an almost consoling voice.
“There she is.” Negan said after about ten minutes of driving in silence. “The Sanctuary.” He said it with so much love and care that it actually startled you about how human he sounded.
It was a large building which looked like a lot of blocks. It was fairly plain in the early morning light. There were a few cracks in the bricks. No matter how much you wracked your brains together you couldn’t figure out what it must’ve been before the apocalypse. There were tall, wrought iron gates –much like the gates that Alexandria had-  which were the entrance to the blocks of buildings. Two men opened the gates, their guns cocked and ready.
What took you aback the most were the Walkers.
You couldn’t count the amount of walkers. You jumped back in your seat as one started clawing at your window. A bullet was immediately put through it’s brain, curtesy of one of the guards. When you jumped back you had brushed up against Negan and he had not wasted the opportunity to wrap an arm around you. You sat very still, his grip was firm and you knew he would not be letting go. You weren’t scared of him, Negan.
And that thought scared the ever living shit out of you.
Negan pulled up outside the largest of part of the building. Dawn was just beginning to break over the top of the building. Negan swiftly retreated his hand from a round your shoulder. You felt a weight lift from you but you felt something else… disappointment? You ignored that thought and pushed it deep down.
“You just stay here, Doll. I’ll be back in just a sec.” He winked and took Lucille from where she was lodged. He shut the door with a loud wham.
You waited until Negan was busy talking to one of the guards until you slithered your hand through the door handle and pulled.
No joy.
The door stayed firmly shut. You let out a string of curse words before you slumped back in your seat.  You sat there for a second before leaning forward and opening the glove compartment tentatively. Looking for some sort of weapon couldn’t hurt. Could it? You started pushing through old newspaper cut outs, some empty pill bottles. There was an out of date granola bar at the far back of the compartment. Under an old postcard there was a wallet. You took the black, leather wallet out of the glove compartment.
Inside the wallet there were a few loose coins and a crumpled dollar bill. Where you would keep a credit card you saw an old Polaroid. You slowly took it out and unfolded it so that you could see it properly. The picture was of a woman who was extremely beautiful with auburn hair. She was holding a small baby in her arms, the woman was laughing. You carefully folded the picture back into its place. You saw an employee key card in the other pocket in the wallet and you were about to take it out when the door swung open. You swore loudly in surprise at the sudden noise.
Negan had opened the door and was leaning on it while looking at you. “What were you doing?” He asked in a commanding tone.
“Committing mass genocide. Obviously.  Can’t you see that from the open glove compartment and the wallet in my hands?” You said sardonically as you rolled your eyes. You swiftly pushed everything you had taken out of the compartment back into it. You shut the compartment with a slam.
“Alright, smart ass.” He said, there was an amused glint in his dark eyes. He held out his hand for you to take. You ignored it as you straightened up out of the car.
The rotting smell of the dead hit you and you keeled over gagging. You probably would’ve puked if there was anything in your stomach. You were wrenching and coughing. Each gasp of air you took in just made the smell more undiluted. “Come on, breath. You’ll get used to it.” You heard a voice in your ear say. You turned to look at Negan who now had an arm around you and was steering you toward the building. “Just breath.”
And so you did. And you were annoyed to say that it worked. You straightened up and as much as you could with Negan’s arm around you. He steered you down many bland corridors before you came to a blank iron door.  You frowned as he opened it reveal:
Nothing.
There was nothing in the room. It was small enough to be mistaken for a closet. You frowned as you shuffled closer.
“What is this…?” You asked tentatively.
“Punishment.” Negan said with a solemn look.
“Ah. I see.” You said as you walked into the room. You did a 360 degree turn  and faced Negan again.
“I’ll be back soon. “ Was all Negan said before he left you in the pitch darkness

Into the night - Chapter 105
“Cedric...” she breathed, she could taste the bile in the back of her throat as he approached her and brought his face real close to hers while Per held her in his iron grip, she could see the insanity in his eyes when he hissed “Jordan, you just can't stay away from me, can you? Come in!” he took a step back to let Per almost throw her inside of the room. Jordan stumbled forward and did everything she could not to lose consciousness “what are you doing? You've got to let me go” she pleaded as she turned and could feel her legs shake, barely able to keep upright. “Wrong answer, try again” he yanked her roughly by the arm and dragged her over to a chair that almost toppled over when he threw her down on it, but she was speechless, each word just got stuck in her throat. He slowly cupped her chin and squeezed down so hard she couldn't do anything else than look up into his eyes “we even haven't said a proper hello”, to her shock his mouth crashed down on hers and she was so disgusted she bit down hard on his lip, so hard in fact that she could taste his blood in her mouth. His hand suddenly lashed out, slapping her across the face so viciously she was seeing stars, “always playing hard to get, aren't you?” he sniggered “but that's ok, I have all the time in the world to think of ways to break your will”. Jordan felt dizzy and nauseous “You'll never break my will, never! What do you want anyway? Money? You know well enough I haven't got money” she breathed, her eyes blinking rapidly to find some kind of focus. His answer was a loud devilish laugh “oh cherie, you haven't got a clue, do you? Yes, sure, it's payback time, but it's not money I want, oh no!” he stood in front of her again “I want you, all of you..and when I'm done with you, you'll be at my feet begging me for forgiveness for what you and that lover of yours have done to me”. Jordan felt a shiver run up and down her spine “I haven't done anything to you” she spat, if she was quick she could run to the door and make a run for it but Cedric followed her stare and gestured at Per to lock the door. “Oh really? Maybe I need to refresh your memory” he grabbed her hair in his fist and yanked her up, screaming in pain she couldn't do anything else than follow as he dragged her into one of the rooms and soon her body connected painfully with the concrete floor. Moaning she tried to sit up but his foot kept her right down, and then she heard the buckle of a belt being undone “no, no, please Cedric..no..please, I'm begging you..don't touch me” she mumbled but he remained deaf to her pleas, it was payback time and there was no way he was going to let her escape her fate.
”Pickuppickuppickup” Jared listened to the call rolling to voicemail once again “for fuck's sake, Jordan, will you just pick up your goddamn phone” he growled as he disconnected the call again and he had to stop himself from not throwing the phone off the top of this hill. “Jordan still not picking up?” Shannon walked up to his brother who had moved away from the group so he could have a conversation with him in private, “no! Goddammit, I don't know if I'm even in reach here” he snapped and looked at the screen to check the signal. “Probably not, you've had trouble here before remember? Anyway, I think everybody's tired, maybe we should be heading back”, that was music to Jared's ears, the sooner he was off this goddamn hill the better, this just was no fun without her. “Yeah, let's” he nodded and kicked a pebble as he walked back over to everybody, “Jared, I'm ti-red” Noah started nagging, poor thing had to do twice the distance to keep up with everybody with those cute little legs of him, “come on then” he picked the boy up and lifted him over his head and onto his shoulders. “Better?” he put his hands over his legs to steady him, “yes, this is how you carried me in London too, do you remember?” the boy put his hands on his head, “of course I remember” he squeezed the little legs, but what he didn't want to remember was losing Jordan in the crowd that day..didn't matter anymore, he was going to see her soon and that was all that mattered. Back on the other side of town, Jordan was crying her eyes out, she felt disgusting and filthy, if there was ever a moment she wanted to die, it was right now, every single bone and muscle in her body ached, and all she could do was curl up into a little ball, now even the thoughts of Jared and Noah drifting in couldn't comfort her.
When they finally got down from the hill and were walking up to the house, Jared breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the lights on inside, oh thank god, she was at home after all and he could feel himself speed up to get to the door first. He lifted Noah over his head and put him down to open the door and he singsonged her name when he walked in “Honey? We're home!” and threw his keys on the dresser in the hall as he kicked off his shoes but apart from the stumbling and tired groans behind him nothing was coming back. “Jordan?” he called again as he walked to the kitchen that was empty, “she's probably sleeping, go check upstairs” Constance could see the worry surface in her youngest son and gave him a reassuring nod. He ran up the stairs, taking two steps at a time and hurried over to their bedroom “sweetheart?” he gently opened the door only to find a perfectly made emtpy bed, his heart was starting to race, the car..he didn't check if his car was still sitting in the driveway so he hurried back downstairs but not without checking every single room. He almost ran into Shannon on his way to the frontdoor “so is she still sleeping?” he absentmindedly said as he fiddled with Noah's shoelaces but he didn't answer and just yanked the frontdoor open, stopping in his tracks on the empty spot in the driveway, she couldn't still be shopping, it was way past closing time, so he took his phone and quickly put it to his ear. He stomped his foot in frustration when her voice mail kicked in immediately, no matter how much he loved the sound of her voice, now all he wanted was to hold her again and be assured that she was just fine. “Still not picking up?” Shannon came walking out, he needed to calm his brother down before he started to worry everyone inside, Jared turned on his heels “no..this isn't right” he stammered with bewildered eyes. “Whoa, don't go thinking the worst, ok? She's probably stuck in traffic and her phone is flat and she doesn't know how to charge it with that weird charger you got in there”. Noah came running out on bare feet “Jared, where's my aunt Jordan?” seeing a frown on the boy's face had him swallowing hard, “she's still driving home I think, she'll be back soon, don't you worry” he picked him up “come on, let's see if Grandma has called the pizza delivery guy yet” he mumbled, knowing full well that the one thing that could distract him was food.
”Come sit up” Per's voice drifted out to her, she blinked against the darkness in the room to try and see if that pig wasn't with him, “leave me alone” she groaned as she tried to get away from him as far as possible but she quickly ran out of options to do so when her back once again connected with the wall. Per crouched in front of her “Jordan, you need your pills”, was that concern in his voice? Really? “no, I don't! I'm dying anyway and I sure as hell ain't gonna make it out of here alive, thanks to you, so you can take your pills and go to hell, you sick bastard” she yelled with the last bit of energy she had left. Per didn't retaliate like she had expected him to but just sat down with her, staring at her without another word which made her even more uncomfortable, only after a few minutes of silence she found herself calm enough to ask “Why? Huh? You planned this all along, didn't you? With him, with that scum, why the fuck are you staring at me? Wanna have your turn too? Was that part of the deal?”. Per blinked a couple of times, like he was waking up from a daydream and got up without even as much as putting a finger on her, “please, just take your pills, Jordan” he breathed and walked out of the room again.
With every second that ticked by, he grew more and more anxious, he wasn't able to focus on anything, the only thing that prevented him from storming out that door was Noah, the boy kept asking for his aunt and he was running out of excuses. “So, is she coming home tonight?” Noah pushed his slice of pizza around his plate leaning his head on his hand, “of course she is, she's just running late, that's all, tell you what..why don't you go brush your teeth and go to bed, ok? No need to wait up for her, I'll tell her to come and check up on you as soon as she's home, alright?”. He put his hand on Noah's head and slowly combed his fingers through his blonde hair, if he freaked out then the boy would freak out and that would be a whole different ballgame, Noah crawled on his lap and cuddled with him, while Jared's eyes connected with his mother's and worry met worry, the rest of the table tried to be as cheerful as possible, like nothing was going on, but they all knew..something was seriously wrong here.
Ten minutes later after carrying an exhausted Noah up the stairs and tucking him in, he raced down the stairs again where he was met by Shannon “I'm coming with you”, fear and worry had finally caught up with him too. “We'll take my car” he grabbed his keys and ran out the door with his younger brother, followed by Constance “I'll come too” but Jared stopped her “No mom, you stay here, ok? I need you to be here in case she calls on the house phone, just let me know the minute she does, ok?”. Constance put her hand in her son's and squeezed it “I will, just be careful, ok?” she didn't know what to say, she hated having to see her child suffer yet again. Shannon revved up the engine and Jared's door was barely closed as he put the car in reverse and drove off into the dark night, not knowing where to start looking for her “I can't lose her, Shannon, I just can't lose her” Jared sat there next to him, mumbling, his voice hoarse and thick with tears, shaking his head like he was in some kind of trance, all the pent-up worry and acting normal around Noah was coming out now. “Hey, calm down..we're gonna do everything we can to find her, alright? Don't you go breaking down on me, ok? because I'm gonna need you to stay focused” there was no point in sugarcoating this and telling him everything was gonna be alright, because it would simply insult his intelligence, the only thing they could do now was look for her, all night if necessary and hope and pray they weren't going to be standing at the mouth of yet another open grave very soon.
Jordan folded her arms around her pulled up knees, and slowly rocked herself, it was a fruitless attempt to keep her anxiety and hyperventilating under control, she knew she wasn't getting out of here alive, just like Charlotte hadn't. All of a sudden the door flew open and there he was again, her nemesis, rapist, and psychopath all rolled into one, “don't come near me” she barked at him, her rocking became a little faster, she couldn't stand him, she couldn't even stand to be in the same room as him. “Tssk tsssk, just as feisty as my beautiful Charlotte, I love it” he grinned viciously as he stopped and crouched in front of her, a finger pushing a strand of tousled hair out of the way, “your Charlotte? You have got to be kidding me, Charlotte was never yours, you betrayed her, so save me the soppy stories” Jordan sarcastically said. “Oh, that's where you're wrong” his mouth drew into a dangerously thin line “Charlotte was MINE! And then your precious Jared came along, so now I'm gonna hurt him like he has hurt me, I'm taking something that is his and I'm gonna make it all mine, I'm gonna make him suffer just as much as he made me suffer”. Jordan pulled her head away from his touch “You're insane! I'm never gonna be yours, ever! You can rape me, kick me around the room, whatever but I'm never gonna be yours” she spat in his face. “Oh I do love it when a girl puts up a fight” the insanity in his eyes intensified again and when he leaned over her, she started kicking and screaming and resisting him so hard she dug her nails in his face. The pain made him pull back for a second and she took advantage of the moment to push him out of the way so she could get back on her feet and make a run for the door, her mind was racing, she needed to get out of here, where was her phone, Jared..he needed to know, he needed to come and get her, her heart was beating heavy and fast in her throat. She made it into what seemed like a livingroom where a TV was blaring and Per looked up in shock at her from the couch, without thinking she ran to the door, her purse lay there open on the floor where she had lost it during the struggle when she was pushed in here. Behind her she heard him storm up to her, with Per and Cedric in tow she flew down the badly lit staircase, she could barely see where she was going or what number her fingers were dialing while she ran. Before she could reach the bottom of the stairs she could feel his arms lock around her waist again “think you can just escape me, huh?” he yelled as he dragged her back up the stairs and her phone fell from her hands, thudding a few times before it dissapeared from view.

Warnings ~ Language, Fluff, fighting, that’s really it I think
Today was like any other day. Wake up, get clothed, go to the public library and research. Find weird cases and solve them. At the end of the day, you would go back to your apartment to fall asleep for about 3 to 4 hours before repeating.
Every day was the same for you when you joined the hunting life. Sleep, research, kill. As for what got you into this life? It’s not your typical, ‘Oh, a monster killed my parents’ or ‘I was attacked by something’. No, it was more than that.
You were built for this life. Yes, physically, you are human. You have skin, blood pumping organs. But what ‘holds you together’, so to speak, is magic. You were created for the sole purpose of hunting.
You don’t know who created you, nor if they are even alive. Since you were created, you were alone. You’ve never experienced any feeling, emotion, not even sex. It’s like you were devoid of them, but you couldn’t say, 100 %, that, that statement is true.
After all this time, hunting, being alone, all human life nonexistent in your mind, why is it that one meeting with two brothers changes everything? You met them when they interfered with a case.
"Excuse me,“ Dean motioned to the woman in the sheriff’s outfit, taking out his badge, as well as Sam, “I’m Agent Collins, this is my partner, Agent Gabriel. We’re here for the case.“
The sheriff smiled, “Ah, you boys are just in time. Your partner arrived a few minutes ago.“
Putting away their badges, Sam and Dean looked at each other suspiciously.  They followed the sheriff to find you, bent down, lifting a piece of cloth with a pen to look at the ashes beneath.
"Agent Carter?” The sheriff called for you.
You looked up, a blank look on your face, “Yes, ma’am?”
“Uh, we’ll take it from here, miss,” Sam spoke to the sheriff.
She smiled and walked away. Dean only stared at you. You’re posture like a stone as you stood up. You looked at them in curiosity as you asked them questions.
“This is my case, what are you doing here? Who are you?”
“I could ask you the same thing, sweetheart,” Dean replied.
Confused, you tilted your head to the left, “Who is sweetheart? My name is Y/N, not sweetheart.”
Dean turned to his brother in an annoyed manner, “Awesome.”
“Look, Y/N, why don’t we just work together on the case. After all, the sheriff seems to think we are partners, it’s worth a try.” Sam reasoned.
You looked him in the eyes, debating whether or not to take his offer. While Dean didn’t seem to like you much, Sam was willing to try. So, you nodded and continued your search for clues.
“Sam and I will go talk to the witnesses, you can go home,” Dean told you. Though, you already knew what it was, by the looks of the house and the body, or lack there of, you concluded it was a Phoenix.
It’s their M.O. You’ve dealt with them plenty of times. “Okay.”
“Look, it’s hard enough to have a girl around we don’t- wait for what?”
“I said okay.”
Dean looked back and forth between you and Sam. “So you’re just okay with it?”
“Of course. I already know what it is. There is no need to talk to witnesses. I never do. But if you wish to waste your time, feel free.” And so you turned to walk to your car.
“Wait!” Sam jogged to you, grabbing your wrist. Big mistake.
As soon as his hand touched your wrist, you instantly grabbed his, pinning it behind his back and pushing him over your car.
“Son of a- Sam!” Dean jogged over and sternly put a hand on your shoulder. Big mistake as well. You released Sam, twisting Dean’s hand and then kneeing him in the crotch.
Dean groaned and doubled over, “Not the jewels.”
Sam turned around, rubbing his arm.
“Okay, so we know you can take care of yourself. That’s good,” Sam cleared his throat, “Maybe we can plan a way to stop this thing. Together, at our bunker. Only if you want to.”
“Hell, no!” Dean shouted, standing up, but also protecting his crotch.
"Dean,” Sam warned.
“What Sam? All of a sudden we take tagalongs? I thought it was us, just us?”
“Of course it is, but why pass up an opportunity that may never present itself again?”
Dean clenched his jaw, but nonetheless, shook his head and spoke.
“Fine. But don’t, touch, anything.” He said with his hand out.
You looked between the both of them, wondering if they were done, and got into your car.
“I’ll follow you.”
The brothers walked in before you, leaving you to ponder about the look on the inside. You heard a chipper female voice just before stepping in.
“Sup, bitches?”
Your eyes followed the voice to see a petite red haired woman in her mid-20s. She was stunning, to say the least. It was as if a switch went off in your body and you just knew she was special to you. Not like anyone else.
“Hi, I'm Charlie, I'm sort of the genius around here.” She reached her hand out to shake yours, but you didn’t take it. You weren’t one for odd pleasantries.
“….Ooor not?”
“My name is Y/N, I'm here for a case.”
“Oh, well, hi. I’m Charlie.”
“Nice to meet you, Charlie.”
Dean cleared his throat, prompting Sam to lead you to their library.
“So tell me, Y/N, how do you know what killed the victim so quickly?” Sam asked.
“I’ve been hunting my whole life. People tend to pick a few things up if they do something long enough.”
Dean scoffed, “Man, do we have to work with her?” he leaned towards Sam and whispered in his ear.
Sam replied with, “Yes. She has information we don’t.”
Charlie lingered around, bringing beers or whatever the boys needed.
“Y/N, would you like anything? Beer, chill pill?”
“Excuse me?”
“Oh-uh, nothing. Just wanted to know if you wanted something to drink.”
“No.”
“Okay, well let me know if you do.”
“Not necessary.”
A few hours later and the boys had all the information they needed. You, of course, knew everything already but had to wait for them to catch up. You left the room followed by Sam and Dean but they were stopped by Cas.
“Dean. Sam. You can not leave with Y/N.”
Dean looked at Cas curiously, “How do you know Y/N?”
“All angels know Y/N. When she was made all eyes were-”
“Whoa whoa whoa, hold on, ‘made’? What do you mean made?”
“Y/N, in all retrospect, is physically human, but she was not born. She was created by a dark magic, specifically designed to hunt. Hunt whatever the originator sees fit.”
“Explains why she already knew what the monster was,” Sam interjected.
“Explains my ass, she’s like any other monster. She was created by dark magic, Sammy. She has to go,” Dean hissed.
“She goes when she hurts someone. Until then, she hunts monsters, she hasn’t done anything that doesn’t justify her meaning,” Charlie said, walking into the room after hearing the conversation. There’s something about you that says you’re a good person deep down.
Charlie turned and headed off in your direction. She was tagging along whether the boys liked it or not. She was useful.
The drive to the warehouse the Phoenix was hiding in was silent for Sam and Dean. The tension was in the air. Charlie decided to ride with you in your car, you didn’t mind. She was special.
“So, Y/N,  uh, how is life doing you?”
You looked to your right. She was only trying to start a conversation, what could be the harm in talking back?
“Fine.”
“…Cool. That’s.. cool.”
Upon arriving at the house of the person pretending to be human but is really a lunatic monster, killing innocent people, the lights turn off.
Sam and Dean got out of the Impala, opened the trunk and gathered as many weapons as they could hold. You, on the other hand, set your iron-made knife in your boot and grabbed the colt that was hiding in a leather bag in your back seat.
You placed it in the back of your pants, setting your jacket over it and headed straight towards the door. Dean looked up in time to see you kick in the door loudly and Charlie run after you. “Son of a bitch!”
You brandished your knife, checking each room thoroughly and carefully. On your usual hunts, it’s easy to sniff out the creatures and dispose of them properly, leaving not a single trace. You never expected the thing to sneak up behind you, you are a pro, but when it did, it took you by complete surprise.
The Phoenix twisted your right arm, taking the knife from you while also immobilizing you.
“Well, well, well, what do we have here?” he said, taking in a big whiff of your scent, “Not human, I see. I should be turning you to ash right now. What are you?”
You scoffed, “You must be mistaken, I'm human just like all those innocents you murdered.”
“Oh darlin’, those people weren’t innocent. They were cheaters and in my world, cheaters don’t get to-” he couldn’t finish his sentence before groaning and falling to the floor.
You turned to see Charlie standing there with an iron fire stick, shaking with adrenaline. You smiled, calmly taking the item and placing it to the side. You grabbed her arm and gently squeezed it.
The Phoenix groaned and then became silent as a shot rang out into the nightly air. You had taken out the Colt and shot him in the head, twice for good measure.
Charlie clung to you in that instant, holding on as though she were falling and you were the only one there to catch her.
“I was so scared he was going to kill you. Or hurt you. I’ve hardly known you that long, but I already don’t ever want to lose you.”
She pulled back, looking into your eyes then down to your lips. Before you knew it, yours were pressed to hers, molding together, fitting, like a lock and key. That’s it. She’s your key. The one to unlock all of those feelings you never felt before.
Sam and Dean came running in at that moment, stopping dead in their tracks before awkwardly looking away. Looking at anything but the two of you. Then they cleared their throats, Charlie pulling away and gasping for air.
She lightly chuckled, “I-I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that.”
For once, you smiled a genuine smile.
“No, it’s fine. You’re the one I've been looking for all along. My key.”
“You’re…. key?”
“I remember now. When I was created, my originator, not only did they want me to hunt, but when the time was right, they wanted me to find happiness. They wanted to create the ultimate hunter. One that could carry out their legacy but could also find that happiness that hunters don’t usually get to experience. Yes, I was created by dark magic. But one cannot experience darkness without having seen the light.”
You grabbed her face and brought it to yours, kissing her once again.
“Charlie, you are the light within the darkness.”
