Different types of lifting equipment to make material handling easier.
The importance of efficient material handling cannot be emphasized enough in industrial and construction contexts where seamless operations are critical. The use of different lifting equipment, which is intended to facilitate the precise, safe, and efficient movement of large weights, is essential to this operation. It is crucial to comprehend the many kinds of equipment offered by a reputable lifting equipment manufacturer in the UAE to maximize material handling procedures and guarantee workplace efficiency.
Overhead Cranes
These are characterized by their ability to lift and transport heavy loads horizontally within a defined area. Overhead cranes are typically mounted on beams or tracks installed on the ceiling, offering a significant advantage in maximizing floor space while providing a high lifting capacity.
Forklifts
With its unmatched adaptability in lifting and moving different weights, this equipment is best suited for warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities. Forklifts, which come in a variety of configurations like reach trucks, pallet trucks, and counterbalances, are excellent for precisely and nimbly moving large objects over short distances.
Hoists
Engineered to facilitate vertical lifting, hoists come as chain hoists, wire rope hoists, and electric hoists. These devices are adept at lifting loads vertically, making them vital for tasks such as loading and unloading cargo, positioning machinery, and erecting structural components with controlled precision.
Scissor lifts
Ideal for applications requiring elevated working platforms, scissor lifts employ a scissor mechanism to vertically raise and lower a platform. Widely utilized in construction, maintenance, and installation tasks, these lifts provide operators with a stable and secure platform for working at heights, enhancing safety and efficiency.
Pallet jacks
Designed for the seamless movement of palletized loads, pallet jacks, also known as pallet trucks or pump trucks, are important in warehouse and logistics operations. These compact and maneuverable devices utilize hydraulic systems to lift and transport pallets with ease, facilitating swift and efficient material handling.
Gantry cranes
Gantry cranes are a transportable substitute for overhead cranes. They include a strong framework that is anchored by wheels or legs, enabling easy mobility and positioning flexibility. Because they don't require permanent installation, these cranes are excellent for outdoor applications, construction sites, and temporary workspaces. They offer dependable lifting capabilities. Optimizing efficiency, improving workplace safety, and reducing the risk of damage or injury can all be achieved by integrating the proper lifting equipment into material handling procedures and having it regularly inspected by a reputable lifting equipment inspection company in the UAE. In today's changing industrial environment, firms can increase productivity, simplify operations, and succeed more by utilizing the wide selection of lifting solutions that are accessible.

REVIVIFY - CHAPTER 2
Camp Shenanigans!
Gale/Tav - 1743 words
AO3 LINK
Summary:
The session starts off poorly. After a few ‘warm-ups,’ as Lae’zel calls them, your lip is bleeding from a swift elbow to the face during some grappling. You swear loudly in response, but she just rolls her eyes and goes to pick up some swords for the real training.
“What are you doing?!” Gale rushes out to find the commotion. “Please, could you warn a wizard with a volatile bomb in his chest BEFORE you start beating each other up outside his tent?” He gravitates towards you and gently lifts your face to study your split lip.
“Your tent, is it Gale?” Shadowheart calls. You can’t help but smirk as Gale turns to glare at her, while she takes a long sip of her tea.
Lae’zel apparently wasn't kidding about the intensity of the battle training. The early morning sun had barely begun to dapple over the camp before she was waking you up from your comfortable slumber, tossing pieces of armour at you from the camp storage box. You're not sure if she was unsurprised to see Gale asleep in your tent, or more likely just uncaring.
“Lae’zel, it’s very early,” you yawn, stretching out your limbs as you stand outside your tent.
“I want to get this over with before the Tieflings descend upon our camp this evening. Plus, It is best we start now, while your crippling failure in battle yesterday is still fresh in your mind,” she says, now looking over a number of different weapons, seemingly deciding which would be best for your sparring session.
“Okay, well, I wouldn’t call it a crippling failure, Lae’zel,” you rub the back of your neck, still embarrassed about letting the side down. You didn’t really need her to hammer the point down. “Ch’kk. You died to a Goblin,” Lae’zel rolls her eyes while carefully inspecting the weaponry, her manner of speaking seeming extra cutting this early in the morning. “That is the ultimate failure.”
As she prepares your equipment, you glance back at your tent. The flap moves slightly in the cooling breeze, and you catch a glimpse of Gale, sleeping soundly. You want to go back to your bedroll and be near him, just for a little longer. You think back to the way he comforted you, the soft touches and the warmth in your bones when he kissed your hair. There was something between you; a crackle of anticipation, a spark of longing. Part of you wants to embrace it, to just tell him your feelings and lose yourself in him. A greater part of you holds back. He has an unstable orb of destructive energy residing in his chest, and a complicated relationship with an ex-lover who also just happens to be the Goddess of Magic and the living, beating soul of the weave. She is everything he has ever devoted himself to. And you are… you.
“Will you stop staring at the wizard and put the armour on?” Lae’zel stands in front of you, arms folded and patience thin. “You can return to your piteous copulations once I am happy your melee has improved.” You blush furiously.
“We were not copulating!” You feel your face getting warmer. “He was keeping me company.”
“I do not care. Have sex with whomever you choose. Apart from Karlach. She would melt the flesh from your bones.”
“Okay, excellent advice, thank you.” You can tell this is going to be a straining session in more ways than one. “Can we at least wait until Shadowheart is awake, please? I’ve got an awful feeling you’re not going to go easy on me, and it would be handy to have her around in case I need a limb reattaching or a gaping wound to patch up.”
“She is already awake. I woke her before you,” Lae’zel says, flicking her head towards Shadowheart’s tent, where she sits on her stool with a blanket over her shoulders, glaring at them. You give an awkward, apologetic wave, which she does not respond to.
He lightly touches your lip with his thumb, and a warm sensation caresses you, healing the wound. Lae’zel waits impatiently, obviously unimpressed. “Wizard. If you insist on using your magic every time your lover has a scratch, we will never achieve anything. Will you also be healing her menstrual pains each month?”
You hear a loud “Ha!” from Astarion’s tent. A soft blush rises over Gale’s cheeks.
You respond awkwardly, “Please let’s not discuss my menstrual pains right now. Gale is not my lover, and that is not his tent.” You meet his gaze and he looks a little disheartened. You touch your healed lip, then squeeze his hand softly. “Thank you. I’ll allow you to be on standby with Shadowheart in case of anything more… damaging.”
Now that the initial panic has died down, he looks around at what you are doing and takes in the scene. “Are you using the swords we looted yesterday?! From the camp? The ones the Goblins were using?”
“Yes.” Lae’zel says plainly. “I didn’t want to use the good swords.”
“Lae’zel! Our camp is supposed to be our sanctuary, and you are a seasoned swordsmith. Please can you do this in a safer fashion. With training swords.”
Lae’zel looks confused. “What is a training sword?”
He does not look impressed. “Ok, how about blunt swords?” Lae’zel’s face turns from confusion to disgust.
“Ch’kk! Why would I keep blunt swords? Swords are supposed to be sharp, otherwise they would be butter knives,” Gale’s head is now in his hands.
“I’ll be ok Gale, we have healers and if worst comes to worst Withers is on standby. I expect he’s ready and waiting after my quick trip to the afterlife yesterday.” Your attempt at humour does not land well.
The colour fades from his face and you can tell it was probably too soon to be joking about it. You try to reassure him, “It’s just a bit of sparring. If it keeps Lae’zel off my back, and makes me more useful in a fight then what can it hurt?”
“You’re already useful! More than useful, you’re…” He’s stumbling over his words again so you give him a silencing glare. “Fine, fine, if it makes you feel better, who am I to stop you.” He grumbles and goes to sit cross-legged outside the tent, looking a little like a scolded child. It takes great effort not to smirk at him.
Then all of a sudden, the hilt of a sword is pushed into your hand and Lae’zel is guiding you into a stance which she deems appropriate. She takes her place in front of you with her blade raised defensively.
“Your druidic magic is powerful, and has its uses, but as we all had to witness yesterday, it wanes.” You watch as she digs her heels into the dirt and bends her knees slightly, you do your best to copy her. “You need a sword to fall back on. Magic can be silenced more easily than a blade.” You hear Gale give a little ‘hmph’ behind you, obviously in disagreement. You think it very wise of him not to say anything further at this moment in time.
"Strike me," Lae'zel commands. The sword in her hand looks as light as a feather in her expert grip, and you know from witnessing her fight before that successfully hitting her would not be easy. You take in her stance and lunge at her left side. As you do, she elegantly parries your blow and smacks the back of your armour with her sword as you stumble past her. "You're thinking too hard about it. It needs to be instinctive. Do you think this hard when you use your earth magic?" she remarks.
You quickly turn to face her again and swing your sword, aiming for her side, but she knocks your blade downwards and delivers a swift kick to your chest, causing you to fall backward and hit your head on the ground. "I'm fine," you manage to say, though winded. "This is fine."
The session continues like this for what feels like hours. You are now covered in cuts and bruises from Lae'zel's 'easy' teaching technique, and sweat pools beneath your armour. Gale has been gradually growing paler, and the other campmates eventually emerge from their tents, forming a small crowd around your training session. It becomes embarrassing, especially since Lae'zel still looks as fresh as she did when you started. Despite getting quicker to react and learning what signs to look out for, your attacks remain shoddy. The best you manage is grazing the back of Lae'zel’s forearm.
"Try tripping her over!" Karlach calls out. "You’ve not given that a go yet."
"No, that won’t work," Wyll responds beside her. "She’s too athletic. You should try being more forceful."
Lae'zel pauses her onslaught for a moment and glances around the camp. "You lack motivation. Focus. Your blood is absent of the adrenaline which pumps in battle," she remarks, her eyes scanning the surroundings. "Maybe if there was more of a threat."
You see her eyes hover on Gale, and panic courses through you. She starts to move towards him, and time seems to slow, the steel in your hand feels lighter. A wind courses through you, guiding you, and the earth beneath your feet rumbles and shakes. You crash your body into Lae'zel's, sending her flying backward to slam against a nearby wall with a nauseating crunch.
"What in the hells was that?!" Astarion calls out. "She’s been beating the shit out of you for hours! And it takes you until now to do something impressive?" He throws his hands in the air dramatically. "Wait, she’s not dead, is she?"
You feel sick. You don’t know where that burst of strength came from. One moment, Lae'zel is moving toward Gale with intent, and the next, you've launched her into a wall. Gale rushes over to you, gathering your shaking hands in his. "Are you okay?" he asks, concern evident in his voice.
"Fine. I guess I'll be the one healing Lae'zel then," Shadowheart groans as she approaches where Lae'zel is lying. She inspects her gingerly. "Cracked ribs, broken arm, knocked out," she reports. "Knocking out a Githyanki fighter with no magic. Who knew you had it in you?" She turns her attention back to Lae'zel and starts to heal her wounds. "Karlach, I owe you five gold."

Flynn shook as Whumpee screamed in pain.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry", Flynn apologized and pleaded, "I am so sorry."
Whumpee groaned, "I'm okay", they grimaced, "that did not feel good at all though."
"I'm sorry", Flynn stood, "um I'm going to go make a call. Are you okay if I do that?"
"Th-thats fine", Whumpee tried to relax into the bed.
Flynn ran to their bedroom and closed the door.
Tears fell to the screen as they made the call.
"Hello", a concerned voice came on.
"Caretaker I really need help", they pleaded, "I think our company messed up and accidentally gave me a harder case than what I can handle. Now I'm accidentally injuring them."
"I'll be right over", came the reply.
Flynn walked by the bedroom Whumpee stayed in. They peeked into the room.
"Okay, good, they were able to fall asleep", Flynn whispered in relief.
Flynn shook as they tried to drink some coffee. It had gotten cold waiting for them.
"I deserve cold coffee", Flynn frowned, "I'm a horrible caregiver."
A gentle knock came to the door before it was opened.
"Flynn?", Caretaker whispered as they peeked in.
"Right here Caretaker", Flynn came out clutching the cup.
"Are you drinking cold coffee?", Caretaker looked at them questioningly.
"Uh yes, I deserve this", Flynn frowned.
"Go make a fresh pot and drink your coffee warm", Caretaker started to walk away, "go on, I can manage."
Caretaker went into the room, and looked over all of the equipment.
"That feeder looks like it's pumping to fast", Caretaker started to adjust the feeding, "you'll get sick like that."
Whumpee squinted their eyes opened.
"Wh-who are you?"
"Oh good morning, my name is Caretaker. I'm here to help Flynn for the day. They seemed a little stressed over the phone", Caretaker smiled, "I just adjusted your feeding to be slower. Do you by chance feel any discomfort in your stomach or around the tubing."
"No, I feel okay right now. I think I had an accident though", Whumpee frowned, "I'm sorry, I can't feel anything below my waist."
"Nothing to apologize for. Those happen sometimes. Especially when you're in bed and that feeder is going so fast", Caretaker went to grab some gloves, "so what we are going to do right now is get you changed. I'm going to change your pee bag also."
Caretaker grabbed some supplies before going to change Whumpee's diaper, "I would like to sponge bathe you today, I'm sure that would feel good on your skin."
Whumpee nodded, "I'm sorry, it's a little embarrassing to have people doing this for me."
"You have nothing to be embarrassed with. This is what your body is dealing with right now. Plus, this is a normal bodily function, so I'd rather you do this than be constipated."
Whumpee nodded, "thankyou."
Caretaker went to work on the sponge bath soon after.
"If you don't like a way I move you just let me know okay?", Caretaker started on the lower body, then moved up.
"I saw a bit of rash around your private area so I cleaned that, and put some cream on it" Caretaker carefully cleaned Whumpee's arms.
"I won't lie, this actually feels really good", Whumpee sighed in relief.
Lastly Caretaker gently lifted Whumpee from laying down and rested Whumpee against them.
"You can hug me if you like while I clean your back", Caretaker inspected their back, "hmm, you have a bed sore back here."
"Yes its been pretty painful", Whumpee rested their head in Caretaker's shoulder, "hmph, this feels so good."
"I'm glad", Caretaker smiled, "I'm going to take a picture of this sore, then I'll dry it off", Caretaker reached for their phone.
"I'll show Nurse Jade when she comes later, she'll know which ointment will be good for that", Caretaker carefully laid Whumpee down, "would you like me to comb through your hair a little?"
"Ye-yes please", Whumpee was quick to reply.
Whumpee dozed off while Caretaker combed their hair.
Caretaker held an oxygen mask over Whumpee's face for a few minutes to make sure Whumpee was asleep before placing the mask on them.
Nurse Jade came in a few minutes later.
"Well well if it isn't Caretaker. Why am I even here? You probably did everything already", Jade looked around, "yep, you have everything done."
"Uh not everything", Caretaker pulled out their phone, "Whumpee has a fairly bad bedsore on their back. I cleaned and dried it, but I wasn't sure what to put on it", Caretaker sighed as they showed the picture, "Whumpee says its pretty painful, there is also diaper rash, but I applied some cream for that already."
"Perfect, I'll take over from here, go get some rest", Nurse Jade smiled.
"Let me know if you need me, I'm going to go straighten out their care schedule", Caretaker picked up a heavy folder, "Flynn has a little bit of a mess in here."
Nurse Jade nodded, "I think this was a little more than what they needed for their first patient."
"I agree, our company definitely did them dirty", Caretaker nodded, "I'm going to sign over to assist with Whumpee for a while. It would be better to have two helping Whumpee, then you won't have as much when you come over as well."
Nurse Jade nodded, "yes having two would help with this case."
Whumpee squinted their eyes open again.
"Good morn... um afternoon, I think... nurse", Whumpee smiled.
"Well hello sleepy head", Nurse Jade stepped over, "I was just informed of your bedsore, let's take a look and get you comfy."
"Alright let me know if I'm needed", Caretaker started to leave, "I'm just down the hall, I may step out for a cigarette really quick though."
"Thankyou Caretaker... for everything", Whumpee smiled.
"Caretaker what are you doing way out here?", Flynn walked out to the end of the driveway.
Caretaker turned and showed their cigarette, "there's oxygen in the house."
"Oh right", Flynn frowned, "I forgot you smoke."
"Um I'm sorry if this is a bad time, but I'm deciding to sign over care of Whumpee to you", Flynn looked down, "I think I am in way over my head, Whumpee needs are not being met here. They deserve better."
"Nope", Caretaker flicked their cigarette away.
"I'm sorry", Flynn looked up quickly.
"I'm not allowing you to do that", Caretaker started to walk to the house.
"Why, you don't have a patient right now. You know what needs to be done for them. You're better at this than I am", Flynn followed.
"Because I've been at this for longer than you have. Do you know what I did when I had difficulties?", Caretaker watched Flynn shake their head, "I asked for help. I didn't back out of my patients care."
"I'm tired Caretaker, I'm tired of crying myself to sleep every night because Whumpee is in so much pain, and I can't do anything to help them. I'm tired of not knowing what to do. Praying that nothing happens until Nurse Jade gets in to help me", Flynn shook as they felt their nerves falling, "you came right in, started their feed machine correctly, changed them, and replaced their urine collecting bag in the same amount of time it takes me to figure out the feeding machine. I feel like a failure. I didn't even have the feeding done right."
"Flynn, you are their caregiver. You are not a failure for trying your best. You will be a failure if you give up on them though", Caretaker sat down on a porch chair, "sit."
"I will sign onto your team and help you, I understand you may not have been ready for this type of case. That's our company's fault for not placing Whumpee correctly", Caretaker sighed, "once Whumpee is healed enough to leave your care you can do whatever you want. I'm not allowing you to give up on Whumpee though."
"Caretaker I", Flynn shook trying to fight back tears, "what do you do when you get stressed, or do you ever get stressed?"
"I get stressed. Their are times I want to cry and scream and cuss, times I feel the world is crashing down around me", Caretaker smiled.
"Wh-what do you do?, Flynn frowned.
"I take a deep breath. I do one task at a time. Once that is done, I move on to what's next. Once the job is done, I step away for a moment, smoke one of these things", Caretaker lifted the pack of cigarettes, "I take another breath, and remind myself that someone inside needs me. That someone is counting on me because they can't do things for themself just yet. My needs need to be pushed aside, or else my patients will suffer. This is a selfless job. It's not about me until my job is done."
"I've caused my patient pain, though. You found a bedsore and a rash from their diaper", Flynn looked down, "I caused those."
"It happens. Yes, you may have been a little in over your head with this. Trying to take care of a patient like this is difficult for one person, you are still new to this as well", Caretaker stood and nudged Flynn, "I'll sign on to help you, if you like."
"I'd really appreciate it, that way I can learn more from you", Flynn smiled.
"Alright, well, let's get in there. I'm sure Whumpee is wondering what's going on" Caretaker went to the door, "Nurse Jade is probably packing up for the day."
Flynn followed with a nod.
Caretaker did a few things more for Whumpee, and instructed Flynn on what to do for the night.
"I'll be back in the morning to help with wake up, and get the day going", Caretaker talked to both Whumpee and Flynn, "I might not stay the whole day, but I will check in periodically. I'll help where I'm needed."
Whumpee nodded, "so are you taking charge of me?"
"No, no", Caretaker smiled, "I'm going to have Flynn remain your full caregiver, I do believe your needs will require two caregivers though. I'll be happy to help."
Flynn looked at Whumpee, "are you okay with that?"
"Yes of course, I appreciate everyone taking care of me."
"Well I wish you both a good night, and I'll see you in the morning", with that Caretaker left.
"Do you want to play cards or anything", Flynn smiled, "or do you want to rest some."
"Cards would be great", Whumpee grinned.
That night, Flynn smiled as they lay in bed.
This was the first night in a week and a half they didn't cry themself to sleep.
Caretaker also smiled as they rested that night.
"How I love my job", they sighed happily.

Concrete Slab Lifting: Restore Your Foundation with Foundation Solutions
Uneven concrete slabs can pose significant safety hazards and diminish the aesthetic appeal of your property. At Foundation Solutions, we specialize in concrete slab lifting, a cost-effective and efficient method to restore the integrity and appearance of your concrete surfaces. In this blog post, we’ll explore the causes of uneven concrete slabs, the benefits of concrete slab lifting, and why Foundation Solutions is your best choice for this essential service.
Understanding the Causes of Uneven Concrete Slabs
Several factors can contribute to the uneven settling of concrete slabs, including:
Soil Erosion: Water runoff can erode the soil beneath the concrete, leading to voids and eventual sinking.
Poor Soil Compaction: Inadequate compaction during construction can result in uneven settling over time.
Tree Roots: Expanding tree roots can lift and crack concrete slabs.
Freeze-Thaw Cycles: In colder climates, the freeze-thaw cycle can cause the ground to expand and contract, leading to uneven slabs.
Heavy Loads: Continuous heavy loads on concrete surfaces can compress the underlying soil and cause settling.
The Benefits of Concrete Slab Lifting
Concrete slab lifting offers several advantages over complete slab replacement:
Cost-Effective: Slab lifting is typically less expensive than replacing an entire concrete slab.
Quick and Efficient: The process is faster, allowing you to use the area almost immediately after completion.
Minimal Disruption: Slab lifting is less invasive, causing minimal disruption to your property and daily activities.
Environmentally Friendly: By reusing existing concrete, slab lifting reduces waste and the need for new materials.
Improved Safety: Lifting and leveling uneven slabs eliminate trip hazards and create a safer environment.
Our Concrete Slab Lifting Process
At Foundation Solutions, we use advanced techniques and high-quality materials to ensure successful concrete slab lifting. Here’s how our process works:
Assessment: Our experts conduct a thorough inspection to identify the underlying cause of the uneven slab and determine the best course of action.
Drilling Holes: Small, strategically placed holes are drilled into the affected concrete slab.
Injecting Material: A specialized lifting material, such as polyurethane foam or a cementitious grout, is injected through the holes. This material expands and fills the voids beneath the slab, raising it to the desired level.
Sealing Holes: The injection holes are sealed with a high-quality patching material, restoring the slab’s surface.
Final Inspection: We conduct a final inspection to ensure the slab is level and stable, meeting our high standards of quality and safety.
Applications of Concrete Slab Lifting
Concrete slab lifting is versatile and can be used in various applications, including:
Driveways: Restoring even surfaces for safer vehicle access.
Sidewalks: Eliminating trip hazards and ensuring pedestrian safety.
Patios: Creating a level outdoor space for relaxation and entertainment.
Garage Floors: Ensuring a smooth and even surface for vehicles and storage.
Interior Floors: Correcting uneven indoor slabs to prevent structural issues and improve aesthetics.

Best of both worlds (5)
Neteyam x Tayrangi!Metkayina!reader
Summary: You and Neteyam separately spend a calm morning that quickly gets turned upside down when he decides to pay you a visit.

Previous part
"Yes Tsireya, like that is good. You have to grind the flowers very finely." Your mom praised your sister as they prepared yet another portion of your ointment. The treatment was annoying, especially now that the wound has started itching, but your mother was very satisfied with how well it was healing. You hoped that recovery would go faster than your mother had promised. As your mom trained your sister, you were sitting a few feet away from them, carefully sewing a broken loincloth. Their company was appreciated because you weren't alone and bored. Their conversation drifted to the back of your mind as you recalled your brother's ridiculing comments from yesterday evening.
"Damn, it seems like all the forest girls must be weird if they both fall for the first girls they meet here!" Ao'nung greeted you as nicely as he always does. As soon as the Sullys left, you and Tsireya were ushered over to the group around Ao'nung by Rotxo. You knew he meant well, but as always, Ao'nung had to spoil your good mood. "Ao'nung, did you ever once consider that they are just being nice? No? Being friendly might be a foreign concept to you but other men are genuinely nice. You should try it once in a while, it might make you tolerable." You countered with just enough venom in your voice. The mood got very bad, very fast, which didn't go unnoticed by the others. "Aww, come on Y/n, it must be flattering to have them fall for you. I can think of worse people to flatter you than the sons of Toruk Makto. They are just enchanted by you and Tsireya." Lorell tried and failed to lighten the mood. You, Ao'nung, and Fayem now scowling at her. Rotxo, ever the diplomat, tried his luck. "Well, they seem to be settling in at least. The beauty of our reefs isn't going unnoticed and they seem to like our food. Guess the forest people can adapt after all." That actually did lift everybody's spirits, agreeing with the good food, especially this evening. Ao'nung mumbled something about the beauty of the reefs under his breath but you didn't pay much attention to it.
That last part got you thinking. Ao'nung was in an unnaturally friendly mood this morning, even to you. Something felt off but you couldn't point out exactly what it was.
The morning went by peacefully and by noon the ointment was ready to be applied, your sister had filled up some other supplies and you had managed to repair the loincloth. "Your wound is healing well. This ointment is lighter than the one we've given you so far. You don't have to wear the bandage anymore. Don't overwork yourself, you still need to recover, but you can do some light work again. You can go swimming for a very short time again. No longer than twenty minutes in the water and immediately reapply the ointment when you get out. Your sister will be with the Sullys tomorrow, so I will require your help in the afternoon." Your mother inspected the wound and then carefully applied the ointment. "Thank you, mom." Smiling at your mom, happy that your hopes came true. While you weren't overly thrilled to join her the next day as an assistant, the news of fast recovery gave you enough motivation to get through that without much complaining. It wouldn't be too bad, you join her occasionally if Tsireya is otherwise occupied, so you picked up a thing or two.
For now, Tsireya and your mom were packing some bags to go and collect rare plants that your mom wanted to show her when there was a knock at the front of your marui.
Neteyam was excited to go hunting with his mother this evening. He spent the morning tending to his ikran and checking his hunting equipment. After he was done with that, he passed by Tuk and Kiri, who were collecting some seashells while he was on his way to the training pools. He saw his dad training with Tonowari and he was getting good. The other warriors were around as well, goofing around, roughhousing and just being silly. Neteyam recognized some from the party yesterday, their fresh tattoos still standing out. He also saw Fayem and was about to leave to not let him ruin his good mood when the warrior mounted his tsurak. Neteyam just had to stay and see if the guy actually had any skills. To his annoyance, Fayem really has what it takes and moved very smoothly on the warrior's mount. He huffed, got up, and decided to spend some time with you. He figured that your day must be rather boring, your dad was with his, your mother most likely was out practicing and since Lo'ak was nowhere to be found, he must be with Tsireya. Leaving you on your own, since he earlier saw Ao'nung with his friends.
He approached your family's marui and knocked gently on the side.
You went to the front and greeted Neteyam, asking him to come in. He followed you inside, glad that you were in a good mood. "Neteyam, it is nice to see you! What are you doing here? I thought you must be busy preparing for your hunt this evening." You smiled at him as you settled by the fireplace. Neteyam sat down next to you so that you were facing each other. "Oh yes, I prepared everything this morning. But now that I have some spare time, I thought I would visit you. Since your family seems to be busy, I figured you would be rather bored and wanted to see if you would like some company." You still smiled at him but his assumptions confused you. "Neteyam, they aren't all..." Before you could finish your sentence, Tsireya walked into the room, getting both of your attention. "Oh, Neteyam, it's nice to see you." She greeted him. Instead of greeting her back, he looked at her confused. "Tsireya, where is Lo'ak?" His voice had a worried undertone. You and Tsireya exchanged a look to make sure you both heard it. "Neteyam I don't know where Lo'ak is, I last saw him yesterday at the festivities...with you." The worry on Neteyam's face quickly got mixed with fear. "Oh no..." Neteyam got up and turned to leave when you stopped him, gently gripping his wrist. "Neteyam, what is going on?" Now you were concerned as well. He turned towards you, looking between you and Tsireya. "I haven't seen him since breakfast. I thought he was out with you. He isn't with Tuk and Kiri because I saw them, he isn't with my dad because he is with yours and he isn't with my mom because she decided to go into the woods nearby on her own to look for good hunting grounds other than the water." He was very upset by now. "Ok, ok, we can go and look for him, don't worry." You squeeze his arm, trying to calm him a little, as Tsireya goes to ask your mother if she may leave. She doesn't tell her why, to not alarm her. The three of you separate, trying to cover as much ground as possible.
You head towards the seawall terraces while Tsireya takes an ilu to search the various reefs underwater, along with the different training areas. Neteyam searched the village and the beaches nearby.
He was heading back, hoping one of you guys was more successful, when he overheard Ao'nung talking to Pxairo. "Ha! That will teach these freaks a lesson!" Pxairo chuckled at that but quickly stopped when he saw Neteyam approaching with a furious look on his face. "What did you do?!" He demanded answers. Ao'nung realized that Neteyam was serious, leaving no room for excuses. Neteyam tightly gripped Ao'nung's shoulder, staring at him when Ao'nung didn't answer him. "Where. Is. Lo'ak?!" Ao'nung averted his gaze, intimidated by Neteyam, before he explained, "We took him out hunting..." But since Lo'ak was still nowhere to be seen Neteyam's grip on Ao'nung got even tighter. "Well, where is he then?", he hissed. Ao'nung looked up at Neteyam, then averted his gaze, looking towards the wall separating the village from the open ocean before he looked back at Neteyam. That said everything Neteyam needed to know as he roughly pulled Ao'nung toward their fathers.
You returned from the seawall terraces hoping that the others were more successful in their search. On your way, you saw that a lot of people had gathered in one of the common areas. Picking up your speed, you hurried in that direction. As you got closer, you saw Tsireya standing at the side. In the middle of the commotion, you saw Ao'nung with Neteyam holding him in a tight grip. You couldn't hear what they were saying as you quietly approached your sister. "Hey, what is going on?" You whispered. She looks at you, worry evident in her eyes as she leans towards you, whispering back: "Ao'nung took Lo'ak out hunting...outside the reefs." As she leaned back, she saw the change from confusion to anger on your face. Only seasoned warriors were allowed to go out there and even they weren't allowed to go alone. It wasn't only dangerous, it was bordering on suicide. You looked back towards the center of attention where Jake and your dad were listening to what Ao'nung had to say when all heads turned towards the water. Getting off an ilu, Lo'ak stepped next to his dad. You couldn't exactly hear what they were saying but your father was scolding Ao'nung when Lo'ak interjected, obviously taking the blame judging by his father's reaction. As the crowd dispersed Lo'ak walked off but Ao'nung was on his tail. You had to witness how Neteyam and Lo'ak took the blame for a mistake your brother made, and you were furious. Tsireya saw your clenched jaw and the way the muscles in your arms strained in rage. She laid a hand on your shoulder, trying to calm you down but the look on your face made her release your shoulder without another word. Neteyam walked in your direction, catching each other's eyes in passing. You saw the hurt and disappointment in his eyes. He was blaming himself, thinking it was his fault.
You also left the scene, returning to your family's marui. As you waited for Ao'nung and the others to come home, you tried to gather every ounce of goodwill you had inside yourself to stop yourself from beating the shit out of Ao'nung when you saw him again. Tsireya was the first to return she knew this wouldn't end well. You and Ao'nung never got along but after what he just did, she knew she had to say something. "They made up, you know." You glance at Tsireya, irritated, not understanding who she is referring to. "Lo'ak and Ao'nung, I saw them talking. They seemed friendly. Their disagreement seems to be over. They were really getting along." You scoffed at her in disbelief. You were about to reason with her when Ao'nung entered the marui with a smile on his lips.
"Are you insane? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR GODDAMN MIND?" You immediately started screaming at your brother. His smile vanished but Tsireya was content as long as you were only exchanging hostile words. "What is your problem?! This is none of your concern!" He got defensive but his voice was a little less loud than yours because he lacked most of the anger. "None of my concern?! You send him out there well aware of the dangers and you. Left. Him. There! AND THEN you let HIM take the blame! You can't even stand up for your own decisions! You were willing to let him DIE just because you have a problem with his looks!" By now you were up in Ao'nung's face, poking him hard in the chest with every sentence. Ao'nung held your gaze, ignoring the pain in his chest. "Well, he isn't dead and we are fine! You got exactly what you wanted! It is over, so what is your problem?" Ao'nung was so fed up with you talking down on him, always up in his business and belittling him with everything you did. "What is my problem? Ao'nung, you act irresponsibly like a child and put others in danger! Luck is the only reason that Lo'ak is ALIVE right now and you stand here acting as if nothing important happened and everything is fine?! How can you be so unbelievably immature?!" Hurt crossed Ao'nung's face. Tsireya knew that her brother's biggest insecurity was that your father saw Ao'nung as irresponsible, so she knew that you hit home with these accusations. You were unconsciously rubbing salt into the wound, which was the biggest problem between you two. Tsireya was afraid you might physically hurt your brother, but your parents walked in before the situation could escalate any further.
You stepped away from Ao'nung and ignored him for the rest of the evening. You just hoped that Neteyam was still allowed to go hunting with his mother, considering how much he was looking forward to it.
The next morning, you were still avoiding Ao'nung as you and your siblings went to meet up with the Sullys. Tsireya was the puffer between the both of you but she gladly chose ignorance over violence every second of the day. It concerned her where you left off yesterday with both of you deeply hurt and angry at each other but much too proud to talk to the other or even attempt to make a step toward the other. She hoped that the Sullys would lighten your mood at least a little.
Rotxo and the Sullys greeted the three of you upon arrival. Tsireya made sure to stay between you and Ao'nung, just in case. They were all in a light mood and that melted your cold facade at least a bit.
When Lo'ak explained that he got rescued by a tulkun, all the Metkayina kids were confused. "The tulkun haven't returned yet. And anyway, no tulkun is ever alone." Ao'nung argued. Lo'ak seemed offended by that. "I know what I saw! It was a tulkun and he had a missing thing, a stump on his right." A scarred, lonely tulkun? There was only one tulkun you could think of but that wasn't possible. You looked at Tsireya and saw on her face that she thought the same. "Payakan." You concluded. "He is a murderer." Tsireya explained to the Sullys but Lo'ak shook his head, not believing what he was hearing. "No, he saved me." Lo'ak argued. "Lo'ak, he killed Na'vi and other tulkun." Ao'nung argued. But Lo'ak stayed stubborn. "He is no killer." Tsireya leaned toward Lo'ak, trying to get her message across more clearly. "Lo'ak, you are lucky to be alive." But Lo'ak shook his head and stood up in a hurry. "You guys aren't listening." Against Tuk's protests, he calls an ilu as he dives into the water.
Tsireya was worried about Lo'ak and felt bad for not supporting him. "I don't want him to feel alone. I believe that he was saved but he shouldn't challenge his luck like that. Payakan still is dangerous, so are the waters behind the reefs and I don't want Lo'ak to get himself in danger." You tried listening to your sister as you walked around the beach but your mind wasn't fully there. "I'm sure he will come around. He is just sulking, give him some time." You tried soothing her worries. You heard Pajakan's story like everybody else in the village but something wasn't fitting. He was said to be a ruthless killer, not a gentle soul that safes lost Na'vi. Yet you believed Lo'ak more than a story that, in the end, was no more than a rumor. You hugged Tsireya to comfort her before you said goodbye.
The rest of your day was spent gathering the blossoms of a plant that only bloomed once a year. The essence it contained was very effective with infections, especially for children, therefore it was important to your mom to gather as many as possible. It wasn't thrilling but you understood why she asked for your help.

Sharp eyes roved over the doctor and his equipment as Apollo lifted his head, inspecting and weighing whether or not he spoke the truth and if whatever treatment this was would allow the man to keep his face or not.
Luckily just as he got the bags of fluids hung before he could get her set with an IV his phone rang "Excuse me Mrs Beaumont." The doctor exited the room to answer his phone.
Grace looked up at the lightly tinted liquid hanging over her head a with a little grimace. Normally she at least had time to mentally prepare for her treatment days. She always felt wretched after but she had to 'trust the process'. "I wish Richard had at least told me before he left." she muttered looking back down. She pet her hand over Apollo's head apologetically "I'm afraid I'm not going to be very good company today. I'll have Ralph take you with him when he gets back from dropping Victoria at school." Talking helped ease her nerves and sense of dread.

@decidentia // ♥ [hanzo]
“,,, Hmm–? Am I… intruding?” Who is he kidding? Of course he is.
The doctor in question peers down at Hanzo curiously, a coy twitch of a smile threatening to wrinkle weathered features preemptively, floating into proper view from where he’d been spying on him from some ways away, partially concealed by the corner of one of the shelving units of the armory. “My sincerest apologies! I was hoping to inquire as to whether or not you may be so inclined as to…” He trails off with an awkward chuff of a laugh, losing some of his initial determination in his attempt to feign nonchalance. It had to do with the way Hanzo offers his full attention without directly looking his way, the vibrance of his irises as deep brown hues flit to silently follow SIGMA’S exaggerated casualness while calloused hands almost mechanically sort and inspect his equipment as it’s placed back within the designated area for proper storage. It’s difficult not to become transfixed by the familiarity he displays with his gear, especially when handling his quiver and arrows, respectively.
It was plain to see that it was a source of meditation for the archer, meticulously inspecting and testing various aspects of it with the degree of care only a true master of his craft would display– evoking not only an air of reverence for such attention to detail, but an equal reverence for the way the routine clearly brought such peace and calmness to such a tense individual.
It was almost perplexing, how much tension he sensed from the assassin at any given moment, yet how little of it really shows within his features, demeanor, or behavior. A pure radio static haze of stress and unease, yet never once allowing so much of an ounce of it to bleed into his form or the heron-esque level of grace with which he carried himself.
It’s difficult to not want to linger and observe, even when SIGMA is well aware of his tendency to become quite the nuisance as a result of this intrigue.
“-- I would actually just like to spend some time with you. You… are quickly becoming my most favorite of our colleagues! I find your company remarkably refreshing!” After a moment of hesitation, he regains some of his resolve, a beaming smile crossing the astrophysicist’s face as he leans down somewhat, tone dropping– as if he were about to tell him a secret. “I would… even be so inclined as to regard you more fondly than Miss Sombra, even!"
A gloved hand lifts to politely cover his mouth, a soft chuckle bubbling up from his broad chest shortly thereafter. “... Oh, b-but do not go and tell her!”

How to Safely Remove an Oil Tank in West Orange: A Step-by-Step Guide
Removing an oil tank is a crucial process that requires proper planning, adherence to regulations, and professional assistance. Whether the tank is underground or above ground, ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible removal is essential. This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to remove an oil tank in West Orange while following safety standards and local requirements.
Conduct a Site Assessment
Before proceeding with the removal, an assessment of the site is necessary. Identifying the tank’s location, size, and potential environmental impact will help determine the best approach. A professional inspection can reveal if there are leaks or contamination issues that need to be addressed.
Obtain Required Permits
West Orange has specific regulations regarding oil tank removal. Property owners must secure the necessary permits before starting the process. This ensures compliance with local and state environmental laws and avoids potential legal complications.
Hire a Professional Oil Tank Removal Service
To ensure a safe and efficient process, working with a certified company like A1 Oil Tank Removal is highly recommended. Professionals have the experience and equipment to handle the job properly, reducing risks and ensuring environmental compliance.
Drain and Clean the Tank
Before removal, the tank must be emptied of any remaining oil. This involves safely draining the contents and cleaning the interior to eliminate residual sludge. Proper disposal of the oil and sludge is critical to prevent contamination.
Disconnect and Remove the Tank
For underground tanks, excavation may be required. The tank is carefully disconnected from any fuel lines, lifted, and extracted from the ground. Above-ground tanks follow a similar process but do not require excavation. Professionals ensure that this step is executed safely to prevent spills or damage to surrounding structures.
Conduct Soil Testing
Once the tank is removed, soil testing is performed to check for contamination. If oil leakage has occurred, soil remediation efforts may be required. This process ensures that the land remains safe for future use and complies with environmental standards.
Dispose of the Tank Properly
Proper disposal of the oil tank is crucial. Certified facilities handle the dismantling and recycling of the tank materials in accordance with environmental regulations. Working with experts ensures that the disposal process is environmentally responsible.
Restore the Site and Obtain Certification
After the removal and any necessary remediation, the site is restored to its original condition. Final inspections may be conducted by local authorities to ensure compliance. Property owners typically receive documentation certifying that the oil tank has been safely and legally removed.
The Importance of Professional Assistance
Attempting to remove an oil tank without professional help can be hazardous and may lead to legal and environmental issues. Hiring experts such as A1 Oil Tank Removal ensures that the job is done correctly, safely, and in compliance with all regulations.
If you need to remove oil tank in West Orange, following these steps will help ensure a smooth and safe process. With proper planning and the right professionals, you can mitigate risks and protect both your property and the environment.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through essential Telehandler Hire safety tips to keep your job site safe and productive.
1. Choose the Right Telehandler for the Job
Not all telehandlers are the same, so selecting the right one for your specific needs is crucial. Before finalizing your Telehandler Hire, consider factors such as:

A telehandler is a powerful piece of equipment, and only trained operators should handle it. Anyone using a telehandler should:
Hold the necessary certification – Operators should have proper training and a valid license. Brakes and steering functionality
Hydraulic leaks or damage
Warning lights and alarms
Attachment security
A quick daily check can prevent malfunctions and avoid potential accidents. If any issues arise, report them immediately and avoid using the machine until repairs are completed.
4. Follow Safe Operating Procedures
To minimize risks, telehandlers should always be operated according to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols. Key points to remember include:
Keep loads balanced – Uneven loads can cause instability and tip-overs. Drive at safe speeds – Avoid sudden movements, especially when carrying heavy loads. Use stabilizers when necessary – Some telehandlers come with outriggers to enhance stability on uneven terrain. Avoid overloading – Never exceed the telehandler’s maximum load capacity.
A responsible approach to handling the equipment can prevent accidents and ensure smooth operations.
5. Maintain Clear Visibility
Limited visibility is a common challenge when operating a telehandler. To enhance safety:
Use spotters – Have a designated person guide you when maneuvering in tight spaces. Check mirrors and cameras – Utilize built-in mirrors or cameras to see blind spots. Ensure proper lighting – If working in low-light conditions, make sure your telehandler has functioning headlights.
Good visibility reduces the risk of collisions and improves overall workplace safety.
6. Be Mindful of Weather Conditions
Weather can significantly impact telehandler operations, so it’s essential to adapt accordingly:
Rain and mud – Wet conditions can cause slipping hazards and reduce traction. Strong winds – High winds can destabilize telehandlers, especially when lifting heavy loads at height. Snow and ice – Cold conditions can affect machinery performance and make surfaces slippery.
Always check the weather forecast before using a telehandler and postpone operations if conditions are unsafe.
7. Park and Store the Telehandler Safely
Once the job is done, the telehandler should be properly parked and stored. Follow these steps:
Lower the boom – Always lower the boom to a resting position. Engage the parking brake – Prevent unintended movement by securing the brakes. Turn off the engine – Never leave the telehandler running when unattended. Store in a secure location – Keep the machine in a designated area away from unauthorized personnel.
Proper storage not only extends the life of the equipment but also prevents potential hazards.
Final Thoughts
Safety should never be an afterthought when using a telehandler. Whether you're hiring one for a construction project, farming task, or warehouse operation, following these safety tips will help protect both operators and bystanders.
By choosing the right Telehandler Hire, ensuring proper training, conducting inspections, and adhering to safe operating procedures, you can maximize efficiency while minimizing risks. If you're looking for reliable Telehandler Hire, always work with a trusted provider who prioritizes safety and equipment quality.
Stay safe, stay smart, and make the most out of your telehandler!
