I thought about it and actually I have so much baggage it’s probably for the best I stay alone til I sort this mess out dnfnsndn
#my best friend was like you need to find somebody who loves as intensely as you do. and like yes true but I can’t put anybody through the#mess that is Me#not that anybody likes me atm anyways but I’m spitballing rn based on my recent epiphanies <3 sndnsndn#which I guess is funny because I’ve dated people with heavier baggage than mine. like infinitely heavier. but it was still my baggage that#was the dealbreaker. bc I deal w mine differently??? like I’m a little more standoffish contrary to what ppl think they know about me bc of#what I post on tumblr djdjsjj#life partners don’t rly like that 😵💫#I mean standoffish about the baggage itself not the relationship but yeah. oofie. it’s really soo dire out here#mrow.org

U seem to know LA so I hope u don’t mind me dropping a q: say someone was moving to LA and they’ve never visited and they’re living on a server salary and they’re gay 😵💫😅 where would u suggest they live?
hey! LA is so big & takes a gazillion years to get around if there’s traffic, so there’s lots of areas you could probably find a spot, but definitely consider where you’d be working & check out some spaces near there (ideal if you can get there Without a major freeway).
my favorite area is a little outside of LA (between LA proper & orange county) called long beach, it’s very queer (TONS of queer poc especially!!) & slightly more affordable than LA proper, & ur between the good beach cities in LA (redondo, hermosa, manhattan) off the 405 (or the 710 to the 405, depending on where you are in lbc), but u can also pop down to the orange county beaches super quick on the pch. there’s a wonderful dog beach in huntington, so for me it’s ideal. my partner & i just put an offer on a house in a neighborhood we love in long beach! 🧿🧿
as far as LA goes tho, i fuck w venice & echo park/silverlake ad some good spots for queer dfab people! silverlake is inland so farther from the beach, but v fun. torrance & san pedro are near palos verdes, which is BEAUTIFUL & my favorite place in all of socal. culver city is very practical. i also like k town (it has some of the best food in LA imo). if ur working on the west side,.. i can’t rly help u bc i avoid it at all costs unless i’m going shopping in beverley hills for sneakers lmfao. i lived in midcity when i first moved here & Hated it lol, so idk if that’s helpful. to me living near the 405 has made life easier as well.
feel free to DM me & maybe i can help u narrow it down if you’d like!
#i am unfortunately now a socal apologist. in love w this horrendous city#but rly it’s So big u don’t wanna live rly far from ur work bc u will be commuting in the most insane way
