#lots of bad in life but#life is also the place where my nephews get to dance to dua lipa#and i get to see my sisters smiling and laughing and being loved#and life is also the place where there is alanis morisette and britney spears to sing along to on the car ride back to town#and life maybe has someone in it that won't make holidays and special events feel like anxiety minefields#and i'm just !! feeling good about change and new things and being different#and a new year coming and new people to see and to be#maybe i'll get an ass tattoo and start wearing skirts again and start being someone who flirts#maybe i'll pick up an instrument#maybe i'll actually start writing#idk getting space from iowa city even for just a day makes me feel like life drips with meaning and potential when I get back
