I forgot about Repostober for a couple days which I think is also in the spirit of the season. Anyway, here's another revisited concept which I am very pleased with indeed: a Silver Age style cover for yet another of my and Sao's AUs, in which Chlorine is a superhero and Lithi is his secret nemesis. Also, neither of them know about the other's alter ego for a good chunk of the story, and they're dating.

The first one was drawn in 2012, and the redraw is from 2019.

Lettering project part 2: WHERE IS GREEN LIGHTNING?

so does anyone remember that comic i was drawing back in november?

because this is it.  after shelving it for months i finally went back and touched it up and here it is!  it's kind of old now but i am still very proud of it.

anyway here is a comic about chlorine delivering a note to his boyfriend.

Hey look it's some things I've drawn in France, each one from a different universe!!  There's another post coming because in addition to these I just scanned a page I did of Chloris doodles so keep a lookout for that.

A handy guide:

First Princess Chloris and her action boyfriend Bastian (name suggested by Sao) dueling shirtless because why the hell not.  Also because dueling with shirts on could cause pieces of fabric to be caught in small cuts, which could lead to infection.

Prince Lithi in Licl: The Fairytale: The Other One shortly after making out with Chlorine The Troll (on left; none of that blood is his), and also probably about to kiss the troll or something (on right)

Reasonably early on in the timeline superLiCl wherein Chlorine is being dopey about how much he's fallen for Lithi already and Lithi is being obtuse.

A while ago Sao drew Riou dressed as Lithi so now I had to draw Riou dressed as Lithi.  It was necessary.

Chlorine helps out on the Green Lightning movie as a Lithi consultant (because he's Lithi's long-term boyfriend and they can't ask Lithi anything because he is generally hostile to this movie idea) and is constantly having a lot of confusing feelings about there being an attractive actor dressed as his significant other.

Riou likes to flirt outrageously with Chlorine while in costume just to see him turn funny colors.

So I figured I'd do one of those art summary things??

At a glance:

-7/12 of them are LiCl -I didn't actually draw a whole lot this year? -That beetle was the best thing I could find for September I'm not even kidding. -I really wanna redo that cuddle picture bigger and fancier.  It's kind of a doodle but it's one of my very favorite superhero pictures because I mean come on, Lithi is gruffly reading a book while his superpowered boyfriend is asleep all over him. 

Also, if you're wondering where the November and December pictures came from, I haven't posted either of them because I am terrible.  November is from my comic final which I never actually finished coloring satisfactorily enough to feel confident putting it on the web (backgrounds mostly).  December I drew for Sao and I am very very proud of it but the rest of the picture is kind of a spoiler for superheroverse.  And by kind of a spoiler I mean it's one of the few spoilers we're actually trying to keep secret.  I'M SORRY, TUMBLR.

This was just gonna be a really straightforward pseudo-poster with some kind of Hollywood-style dramatic kiss.

But Lithi.

I doodled a bunch but then I was too lazy to go scan them so I took these pictures on my phone and spend some time trying to clean them up with a photo editing app and then the tumblr app couldn't do photosets and so I emailed them to myself and honestly it probably took a lot more time and effort than scanning them would have.

Sometimes shit gets serious and Chlorine has to not be Green Lightning for a moment.

We're listening to very dramatic movie soundtracks in coloring class which would probably be wonderfully motivational but I am drowning it out with The Black Keys, which works just as well.

Probably the last big progress pic for a while.  I'll post all the pages together when they're done.

I am 104% burnt out on drawing backgrounds right now so I'm going to ink backgrounds instead.  Here's a preview of page 1 of the monster that has eaten my life.  I'm about to ink it.

I just went on a scanning spree, and I decided I'd post all my gayest doodles all at once, like a glorious shotgun blast of gay.

vampire!Chlorine is exasperated that versions of himself in other universes aren't talking to their brothers, because his brother died of cholera in 1848 and they don't know how good they have it.  (with bonus vampire!Lithi glaring at the others for making Chlorine exasperated)
