she might audibly say that she isn’t into halloween, but any excuse to get dressed up is enjoyable. so she doesn’t really know the character behind this but is that really the point? she’s not doing cosplay, ara is simply enjoying herself in a costume that looks good on her. very fluffy. very pink though. making a face at yue, she looks for some sort of acceptance that she indeed does pass for looking decent in the costume. so it’s more makeshift than anything, she didn’t actually go out to buy a costume but found the pinkest items she had, and bought a golden crown and topped it all off with copious amounts of pink blush. on any other day, this would be over excess, but overabundance could be a good thing on this holiday.

she had done a little bit of research by watching a few clips on the internet, but she’s not sure it’s enough. she did see enough to see the vampire queen that often hung out around princess bubblegum to target her sights on yue’s likeliness despite not dressing up as marceline. “i know you are dressed up as morticia today, but i’m going to pretend that you are a glam version of my vampire queen, because- because -” she sputters, a bit aghast that she attended the halloween party alone while everyone else was dressed up in pairs or groups. “a princess can’t be alone on her throne or whatever, okay?” ara whines, holding onto yue’s arm.

Won had come to terms that he would have to spend certain holidays on his own, but he hadn’t known that it would occur right away. His siblings were at the cusp of their new careers, and he was finally focusing on his own career. He found it bittersweet that as close as their ties were, none of them could rely on their parents. So, he was now spending his free time on company grounds while others went home to spend much needed time with their families. 

He had enjoyed spending alone time in the dorm for a day, but the silence had become less comforting and he had done everything he could possibly do by himself. There was nothing to clean, and he didn’t feel like cooking for one person. He stepped out of the apartment building on the second day, and while he had hoped that the restaurants in the neighborhood would entice his appetite, he didn’t feel like entering any on his own. 

His feet had led him to the company’s building in search for either some company, or a better view of the sunset. He greeted the security guard at the front desk, and pushed the door open to access the staircase instead of taking the elevator. He wasn’t in a rush, and extra steps would help offset the lack of physical activity he had done the day before. 

The view on the rooftop caught his eyes first when he walked out of the building. He spotted the female figure near the railing, and he cleared his throat to announce himself, not wanting to frighten them. 

“Hey,” He mumbles from a comfortable distance with a faint smile on his lips. “It seems like we had the same idea.”

fighting... well, stunts really. but stunt fighting. jaemin had looked on upon the teachers with determination but deep in his belly he held so much hesitation towards the martial arts training. he knew it would come in handy for action roles and especially when it concerned a historical role, it was unavoidable. however, he was probably the least violent person they had met in a while. not only had he never been in a fight pretending to slap someone else during method acting always had him apologizing afterwards. so to have to partner with someone and go over the moves as if what they were doing was perfectly normal...

his head shook a little as everyone was dispersed, his hands -- that they were trying to turn into weapons -- pressed into the pockets of his loose adidas workout pants. he couldn’t do this. he reached up to adjust the headband around his forehead that kept his dark hair back and caught sight of a girl approaching him. why was she getting so clo--

“partners?” he asked as if to clarify what he had just heard, a slightly uneasy smile creeping onto his features as he bit at his lower lip. “i don’t think i’d be a really good partner for this though.”

who is your ideal type, and is there a reason why you prefer this in specific?

a slow, knowing smile spread across the model’s confident but pretty features as she raises an eyebrow in the general direction of the camera. “my ideal type you say?” she smirked, grinning widely as she laughed, brushing her hair confidently aside as she cackled softly. “well technically, i love people much like myself. bright, efferverscent, self confidence..with a little bit of a bad side to them really--those things really get to me very much.” she cleared her throat slightly. “someone who’s able to make me laugh is definitely a plus to it all, and someone able to have a great amount of fun, with the same type of humour is one of the cliche things that i do expect out of someone who’s my ideal type.”she shrugged. “what can i say really? birds of the feather flock together? you’ll be even more appealing to me if you’re someone with a particular inclination to have your own opinion, even if it may differ from me, because that means you have a brain and can think--and that is one of the most important things to me.”

How do you like to be comforted when you're sad or upset?

“with good company, or time to myself. very contradictory, but sometimes i just need to be alone in my room, under the bedsheets with some soft music. music is always a comfort. put on a playlist, and my mood will settle. on the other hand, to have a friend who can understand me when i am upset, is also very meaningful. those conversations are ones that may never be had at any other given time. but i suppose the failsafe is always a phone call to my mom. she always knows what to say and i am very thankful for a very supportive mother. my father is supportive as well, but the conversations i have with my mother are different. i guess that makes me a mama’s boy.”

What is something most people do easily but you find very difficult?

“oh, uh...” there’s a lot that minjun could mention, some trivial and others bigger than what this question is probably seeking out. the problem is he’s always so used to thinking he isn’t good at most things, that others can do a lot better than him. he’s trying to get out of such a mindset though, become a more positive person, have a brighter outlook at life. constant self-doubt doesn’t help someone who is walking down an idol’s path, after all. for this question, he decides to go down the easier route.

minjun hums. “i know that not everyone has the talent for cooking, but man do i suck at it. i swear i could have burned down a kitchen at one point—luckily, i’m surrounded by people who can cook. so, i guess you can say cooking.”

What is something most people do easily but you find very difficult?

this is quite the tough question, mostly because youngmin doesn’t really pay attention to other people outside of his circle. he tries not to compare himself to others, but most days that type of attitude makes it seem as if he simply doesn’t care. he supposes there’s always something though, particularly back when he wasn’t in the acting path. “as you know with every trainee in this company, we all start with the default path, which is the idol path. i believe i can hold a note, but when it comes to dancing—well, i’m kind of a goner.”

he thinks back to events before, days when he would fall behind when others in his training group have progressed significantly. “i guess it’s not exactly most people in a wide scale who find dancing easy. where i was at though, it felt as if  i was the only one who was struggling.” he had improved, worked hard even if he ended up choosing the acting path eventually. a part of him wonders what would have happened if he stayed.

“i try my best not compare myself to others! everyone has their own strength and weaknesses, and i think that’s completely fine.”

there’s a level of frustration to be had. ara has to be honest with herself because she’s an overheated kettle past boiling point, and this has been going on for some time. it’s not an overnight thing - the buildup has been lengthy. and she kept it down, kept it to herself despite it being blatantly obvious to those who had to hang around her. she feels for her roommates and training group. after meng was kind enough to walk her through the ropes of contemporary dance, she used her free period during training to do more of it. it still wasn’t coming as naturally to her as she would like aka in her bones, flowing like jelly, sort of syndrome. instead, she looked stiff as ever, trained and overtly poised. so again she would go.

in fact, training is over, as the clock strikes to :00, but ara has no classes or work to tend to, so she tells the other girls she’s staying.  a hasty mistake. because in her fifth replay of the song by birdy (she doesn’t even know the name of it), she missteps and promptly falls on her freakin’ knee. the sad lyrics of the song play in the background, a mind numbing to her senses as she mourns her next few practice days, and she gets mad at herself. 

the room feels rather large and makes her feel lonelier than before, even though it’s the same room she’s stepped in and practiced in for years. shifting over, she tries to step up to get to her bags and phone, but her leg buckles slightly under the pressure. hissing a curse under her breath, she decides to slowly drag herself instead on the floor. it looks a little desperate. maybe this is why they didn’t practice alone. flipping through the contacts on the phone, she goes into recent contacts and sends a whining emoji to yue.

new faces, week four ┊ with @lgcyue

jaewoo hadn't really gone into this with the singular thought of winning. not at all. he's nowhere near athletic, and if anything, his only motivation thus far is that he just doesn't want to get hit by a ball on camera, for reasons of (a) his pride, duh, and (b) his fear of getting hurt (physically, might we clarify, because now's not the time to unpack whatever else that statement might suggest).

not that both of those things matter much now, because as for his pride: he's been so invested in dodging the ball no matter what that he's made some rather... embarrassing... poses... along the way (ones he knows his friends would have a field day clowning him for when this episode airs). and as for his concerns with getting hurt: he's crashed on his knees avoiding the damned thing more than once, and he's spun and stretched and twisted every which way that his back kind of hates him now, so. there goes his attempt to stay clear of any bodily pains.

on the bright side, this is the closest he's ever gotten to winning a predominantly physical game. but with the ball on the other side of this make-shift court, he has a feeling that his luck's about to change.

happy anniversary!

warning: this post is LONG AF! next year i am so not gonna do this - will make a graphic or something instead - because i legit typed for hours. don’t feel obligated to read the whole thing - feel free to scroll down to the sections where you are mentioned. 

holy ravioli, i can’t believe legacy is turning one! the last year was chaotic for me real life wise and legacy provided a great place to escape and enjoy writing with my friends. i chatted with so many of you wonderful people and have no doubt i’ll be missing some on this list. if i happen to skip you by accident, just know i love you anyway.

both of my muses went through a lot. yonghwa i’ve had since the very beginning and his journey did turn out differently than i expected. i created him to be perfect on the outside, slowly rotting on the inside. he has a lot of insecurities that he refuse to acknowledge and a crippling greed for money...to the point i legit created a list of free stuff available at legacy and still track his earning. he ended up not deteriorating horribly as i expected due to having an overwhelmingly strong support system. dang it, y’all, i wanted to fuck up my character. 

as for daehyung, he’s proven to be the ticking time bomb comedic relief asshole that everyone can’t help but respect for not having his ass kicked out of the company already love - he’ll continue to be a pest and harass people that he find fancy in. career wise, i am surprised he is doing so well despite hating the world and most of the people in it. guess deep down inside he actually cares about acting and finds joy in it. one day, hopefully, he’ll be singing his own ost. 

i would like to thank our cute sara, who played yonghwa’s brother @lgcyoon​ and currently plays @lgcseojin and @lgchana​~ sara was one of the first people i plotted with at legacy and i really enjoyed the friendship between seojin & yonghwa. seojin was an adorable tsundere pupper and yonghwa is over-affectionate and secretly appreciated. they had their ups and downs and in season 2 of the future dreams, that really came out. i am glad they were able to work through their issues and i think that is why their friendship feels so believable to him. seojin also had a part in daehyung’s life...can we get that communal shower yet, buddy? yoon, though you are too busy to play him now, will always be yonghwa’s doting older brother. i don’t think i’ll put up that wanted connection again because yoon is so perfect and yonghwa already latched onto him with both legs and arms. 

second up, i gotta thank my girl gabby for always being there. @lgcparkdohyun and yonghwa’s brotherly bond is incredibly strong and in fact, one of my best plots to date. we’ve essentially plotted them out from diaper days and they are as close as two guys could be without screwing each other, really. we’ve also been here since the beginning together and high fives man, our boys technically both made it. 

@lgcxcharlie is yonghwa’s supportive girlfriend and she is so adorable. a much needed ray of light in his life. funny thing is that they met a long time ago, via bread. did charlie know that she’ll end up getting a boyfriend out of her kind bread donation? see, this is what happens when you feed a hungry cat - he’ll keep following you for more. now you are just going to have to keep him~

for my beloved rose who plays @lgcjude, @lgcjina and @lgcwon, i love youuu. with them on tour together and sharing a room, i hope jude is not annoyed yet by the fact yonghwa keeps on climbing into his bed. as for jina - hello, fellow season one winner, high fives. they might have to keep some distance due to opposite gender, but at least they’ll always have that respect for each other. now won, sorry, the devil is never letting you gooooooo. he’ll continue to harass you for years to come. 

@lgcseolmi​ + @lgcichika​ & @lgckit​ - my typo queen nam~ we haven’t known each other for very long but damn did you rise quickly on my favoritism list. i love you lots, even though you are a dork who can’t spell anything right! :3c we’ve threaded already with the girls and now i am waiting for the new baby boy!

my al is the best person for cat gifs ever. every so often, i’d get a cute gif and feel my happiness grow. in fact, like we talked before, you send me so many cat pics that i believe you are a cat and will treat you like one. pet pet pet pet! @lgcinsoo​ and @lgcyue​ are both great babies, but you know i have bias towards our insoo. he is such a kind, loving puppy and both of my characters appreciate him. one more obviously than the other. 

em, how the hell do you post so fast even though you got three characters? also, how on the earth have we managed to talk so long without doing a single thread together? oh wait, shoot, it is me isn’t it? @lgcaaron​ is still waiting on his starter and my ass typed this long af thank you note instead of that hohoho-

i still have so many boys i want to interact with for the project origin group but those i’ve already had a chance to thread with, i’ve all loved. our @lgcxpv​ is a wild child but so precious in yonghwa’s eyes. we’ll always have their shower scene to reflect back on. also, your precious max is one of dae’s only semi-acknowledged friends. our @lgcxhaneul​ is the sweet mandu that will keep on getting squished by his loving hyung. we love @lgcseul​ who deserves all the hugs and @lgcminjun​, who will definitely become one of yonghwa’s favorites. @lgcjiho​ & @lgcharu​ are both soft cute boys that i am still planning on hitting up more.

though we’ve only had one thread, i strangely really enjoyed the interaction between yonghwa and @lgceunho​. i feel like they still have more to explore and hopefully will find themselves together in a future event!

also jia, we’ve been around since the very beginning too. i miss writing together. @lgchyunjin​ should come and love on yonghwa more. ; v ; we are the early day boys ya knowwwww. i enjoyed chatting with you on twitter, can always count on you to be around liking people’s posts to show support. 

lately, i’ve also gotten to plot with @lgcsubin​, who is a sensitive boy with depth. i love his character and i hope to write more with you, nic! also, thanks for being around and asking what’s wrong whenever people are upset. i think it is so precious.

stef, i am so glad you joined legacy and see, it is fun, right? daehyung will continue to bully @lgcxjunghwan​ but he does it in an affectionate way, alright? love to lulu ( @lgcminseok​) & simone (@lgctee​) for always being there to chat about stuff~

jen, thanks for teaching me how to gif. i’ve enjoyed our chats via discord and we should do it again sometimes KEKEKEKEKE @lgcxjinah​ and @lgcxjongsuk​ both have their places on my character’s heart - i love them both!

here, i just want to acknowledge some of the people that dropped but still had a huge impact on yonghwa’s life. i don’t know how many of y’all will remember them, but back in the day, yonghwa had a best friend called kiyoung and a crush on yujin. when those two dropped at the same time, oh, that was a huge blow. thank them both for being a part of his life. also, jane was a heavy loss for me because i adore her quirkiness. bobby come back, you can blame it all on me. 

lastly, i want to thank all of the mods for their hard working maintaining the rp! thanks so much, legacy wouldn’t be fun without you! 

for the head admins, i have a few extra blurbs because we’ve been together for a whole year. for our admin l, you’ve worked hard. it is not easy to run events and i feel like i’ve definitely pushed you with some difficult questions before. i am glad we are friends and get to chat often about random tidbits. i am also happy you are taking time for yourself and taking care of real life concerns. your wellness is always the priority! character wise, i have a feeling @lgcmiso​ and daehyung will actually get along well~ 

marie because i can’t even remember what is your official admin letter OTL i just remember you as the mother of merlin and writer of @lgcxking​. it is not like i don’t like jin, but that king is the one i had the most threads with. i really love yonghwa and king interaction because in a place where everyone must be civil and friendly, their hate for each other is so damn refreshing. i still think five years from now on they’ll be friends, but not before trying to claw out each other’s eyeballs first over their smutty fanfics. sorry for keep harassing hyuncheol and calling him papi, please continue to feed me merlin content. he is the best boy.

PERSONAL INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT PERMISSIONS.

maintenance of a public image is important for public figures and a steady social media presence is part of that.

from this month onwards, legacy entertainment will be approving requests for a company-approved public personal instagram account as long as the request fulfills the following requirements:

the artist in question has completed a full trimester as part of their chosen career path (currently limited to artists under lgc agency and lgc creatives)

the artist in question has posted at least six posts on the official lgc entertainment account, proving that they’re able to adhere to the company standard sns code of conduct. OR

the artist in question is a member of the lgc agency modeling division and requires access to a personal instagram account as a portfolio and for promotional work.

artists are expected to continue to follow the same guidelines regarding sns posts that also apply to the official legacy entertainment account, which are as follows:

the company discourages their artists from spamming their followers’ feed. out of character this means that only one post per month will be eligible for points. your points can be redeemed by submitting your sns post with your monthly activity check points at the beginning of the following month!

photos featuring two artists are allowed once every two months providing that both fcs on the photo are currently active at lgckrp. only one person may post the picture, though both are allowed to collect the points for it.

photos may only feature two individuals of the same presented gender in order to avoid dating rumours from surfacing.

the pictures and captions are to be respectful, in good taste and should not share too much personal information. as “too much personal information” the company considers: company insider information, imagery or mentions of partying, alcohol, drugs or romantic relationships.

failure to comply to the code of conduct will result in a social media ban for the first offence and the forceful termination of the artist’s account if the misconduct persists.

if your muse qualifies for an individual sns account ( and has not already submitted this in a previous term ), please submit the following form to the lgcmanager inbox for us to verify your account and enter it into the company database until JANUARY 17, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.

On the first day of the workshop, Won hadn't arrived on time to grabbed a seat in the front row of the room, and instead, he found himself seated on the outside of the middle row. Perfect for an escape, he jokingly whispered under his breath to Yue. He could still listen to the lecture comfortably, and occasionally avoid making eye contact with the instructor since he didn’t want to be chosen at all to help out with demonstrations. 

He had run into his fair share of ‘professionals’ that chose him to humiliate him in front of classes during his college years. He was there to be a student, and he felt that he was in a similar position to the rest of the trainees despite who his parents were. He hadn’t received any preferential treatment, and he didn’t want anyone either. If he was going to become an actor, he was going to do it through his own merit and not his parents’ connections. 

He glanced down at the form that was handed out by the instructor before the participants of the workshop were split into various groups. At the end of the workshop, each person would have to create their own character with the information had been taught. So far, the class had only been introduced to the main concepts that the workshop was going to focus on but he was excited to learn how to study a character’s psyche outside of the lines on a script. 

“Do you have any ideas of what type of character you want to create?” He asks the younger girl, lifting his gaze from the paper in front of him to meet her gaze. “I’m honestly afraid of accents so I might try to push myself out of my comfort zone.”
