tw: black+trans death

from the_yvesdropper on instagram:
our beautiful black trans brother, 35 year old Righteous Torrence "Chevy" Hill, was murdered in Atlanta, GA this weekend.
he went by his nickname 'Chevy' he was originally from Macon, GA. he owned Evollusion, which is a black/ queer owned LGBTQ+ salon in Atlanta that provided and dedicated full service to specializing in hair, nails, barbering and makeup. growing up as young black queer boys/kids, the barbershop experience can sometimes be a tricky space to occupy, this was something that Chevy understood and wanted to cultivate a space of safety where you can also get the affirming look and style you want, and he did exactly that.
Chevy was a beloved son, brother, partner, and father.
one of his last posts that had a photo of himself said :
"if you truly know me, you know i am a humble, modest, private man, that i love my community, i have the love of God in me and will give the shirt off my back to any soul in need, also i never post pictures of myself, legaey give myself credit, that stops today, i am my legacy!"
(a close friend of Chevy asked if i could share more then one photo of Chevy, since he never posted photos of himself and in recent years he got the confidence to want to share more photos and now he won't get the chance to)
Chevy, hey king, hey brother, hey angel, thank you for everything, i lové you, we lové you, i'm so sorry. there are a lot of photographers in heaven who will be able to photograph you as the glorious black trans angel that you are.
there will be a homegoing service/memorial for our brother
there aren't many details about what happened but apparently he was shot by a family member last wednesday, the 28th (at least this article was the one linked in relation to his murder.)
judging by both the IG post and the comments section he was well-loved by many people and those people have many good memories with him and nothing but good things to say. this is a comment that was left by tirajmeansgolden which was hidden by IG for some reason:
I started testosterone in February 2020. I hit this man up at the end of 2019 after numerous Google searches for an LGBT-friendly barber near me (and by near me... he was a good 35-40 minutes from the rural area I was in outside of Atlanta: but when I found out he was a trans man and that his business was the first and only LGBT hair bar, I knew it would be worth the trip). I was a dysphoric mess in his DMs one Sunday. I hated how my hair was growing out. I never had a "masculine" hairstyle before but decided one day I would buzz it all off myself, then allowed it to grow out a bit... I sent him a video and despite him being closed on Sunday, he told me to come through. I got my hair braided and he gave me my first really masculine fade. Explained the different terms. Lined me up. Was asking me about my decision to transition and provided some helpful advice + guidance. I told him how I was a therapist and he was hype and said he talked with a group of trans men and he would love for me to stop by and also give some mental health tips. So whoever said he was humble - wow, what an understatement. Such a community man! Made me feel SO comfortable because barbershops were a source of major trauma and triggers for me. They were such an integral part of my early transition (I just celebrated 4 years later week). And he was such an integral part of the Atlanta Queer community with hosting events like Queer Con. How I found so many other great resources + queer businesses/artists. May you rest in peace, Chevy. You'll be missed. You've made such a different in the lives of countless people. You definitely were living your Purpose + left a legacy behind ...
#op#rest in power#black trans lives matter#death -#black death -#trans death -#didn't add a tw to the top of this post at first. sorry everyone.

The content of this blog doesn't reflect reality, which means the things you see on this page (roles, situations, outfits etc.) are probably fake. I haven't mentioned these women's sex lives, sexual interests etc. anywhere so you should not talk about such things either. It's not that you're not allowed to find these ladies attractive, I'm just asking you to keep your (dirty) thoughts for yourself. Tumblr is not a porn site or a dating service.

Daniel Villarreal at LGBTQ Nation:
During New York City Pride last Sunday, pro-Palestinian protestors blocked the parade route, spraying red paint onto a truck towing the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) float. Some protestors began distributing informational leaflets, others smeared themselves in red paint and unfurled Palestinian flags, and several sat in the street alongside a white banner that read, “No queer liberation without Palestinian liberation.” “Free, Free Palestine!” they chanted, and “Shut it down!”
“By taking blood money from arms manufacturers, @HRC has become complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people,” wrote the protest organizer, Writers Against the War on Gaza (WAWOG), in an X post alongside a video of the action. “Stop arming Zionism. Free Palestine.” New York City police quickly cleared the area of photographers while onlookers repeatedly shouted, “Shame!” Officers then zip-tied the protestors, arresting 10 and charging seven with disorderly conduct, told Gay City News reported. Pro-Palestinian protestors had criticized the HRC last February for accepting a “platinum” financial sponsorship from Northrop Grumman, a weapons manufacturer that supplies the Israeli military. HRC has issued previous statements sympathizing with those harmed by the conflict.
But WAWOG wasn’t the only group who disrupted a Pride event this year to protest for Palestine. In Boston, Massachusetts, over 100 protestors blocked the parade route, and over 60 pro-Palestinian organizations signed a letter calling on the parade’s organizers to stop accepting money from companies with financial ties to Israel. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, pro-Palestinian protestors blocked the parade, facing off against a drumline. In Denver, Colorado, pro-Palestinian protestors interrupted a ska band performing on the PrideFest main stage to explain that the same conservative Christian nationalists who support the bombing of Palestine also regularly encourage violence against LGBTQ+ people. In San Francisco, California, over 1,000 people boycotted the main parade to attend a “No Pride in Genocide” Palestinian solidarity march, co-organized by Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism (QUIT) and a local chapter of Jewish Voices for Peace. The march’s organizers accused SF Pride of accepting sponsorships from corporations “actively involved in the genocide of the people of Gaza” while noting Israel’s human rights abuses against Palestinian queers.
“Palestinian queer people do not have the right of return, are subject to the dehumanizing and violent treatment Israel gives to all Palestinians at its numerous checkpoints, often do not have the ability to enter into Israel, even if in a relationship with an Israeli, and suffer the same persecution as all Palestinians,” a QUIT spokesperson said to LGBTQ Nation in a statement. Israel’s treatment of Palestine has long divided the LGBTQ+ community. Israel has spent millions to tout itself internationally as the most LGBTQ+-friendly nation in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Palestine grants nearly no civil rights to its own LGBTQ+ citizens. Pro-Palestinian protestors have long accused Israel of using its LGBTQ+-inclusive policies to “pinkwash” its human rights violations against Palestinians. As a result, anti-queer conservatives in the U.S. often resort to “homonationalism,” citing Muslim-majority countries’ anti-LGBTQ+ policies as a pretext for racism, Islamophobia, and violence against Muslims.
[...] Some members of the queer community, like Ethan Felson, executive director of A Wider Bridge, a nonprofit that connects LGBTQ+ communities in North America and Israel, say that the pro-Palestinian protests have made some Jewish queers feel unsafe and unwelcome at this year’s Pride events. Felson’s sentiments have been echoed by out gay Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY), who has taken a very pro-Israel stance in the conflict.
“The anti-Israel wing of the LGBTQ community is essentially telling pro-Israel Jews that if you wish to be a part of the LGBTQ community, then you have to be in the closet about your Zionism, you have to be ashamed of your Zionism,” Torres told NBC News, referring to the movement to establish a Jewish homeland. “That to me is not Pride. That’s a perversion of Pride.” But the stakes of not speaking up have never been higher. While Biden’s policies have upset pro-Palestinian queers, other LGBTQ+ people have also pointed out that Trump doesn’t support Palestine either. As president, Trump drafted a “peace plan” for the region without any Palestinian input. He also defunded the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees and moved the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem while closing the U.S. mission to Palestine in the same city, both of which heightened tensions in the region. Additionally, Trump has said he will reinstate his Muslim travel ban and oversee mass deportations of immigrants in the U.S., having accused immigrants of “poisoning the blood of our country.” Overall, his stances threaten undocumented Arab families living in the U.S., increase hostility towards Arab Americans, and remove any pretense of the U.S. being a mediating force in Middle Eastern peace talks.
Pride Parades across the nation, including New York City, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and St. Louis, have had pro-Palestinian protesters blocking and disrupting parades to protest sponsors of Israel Apartheid State’s genocide campaign in Gaza and their pinkwashing campaign against LGBTQ+ Palestinians.

Have a couple of human AUs to recommend today. All by DawnofTorrow. The first two are very similar to each other, but also different, and were very sweet and romantic, and made me smile. The third is funny too, and they all feature A LOT of pining. All are explicit. Maybe they’ll brighten someone else’s day as well:
Pose- Crowley is a model, Aziraphale is a (demisexual) photographer from a very rich family. They get off to a rough start, but eventually after working together grow to be best friends and more. Aziraphale’s family is AWFUL, per the usual.
Dancing into the Sunset- Crowley joins Aziraphale’s LGBTQ+ friendly ballroom dancing class and quickly falls for the instructor who is still trying to fully get out from under the thumb of his head emotionally and psychologically abusive ex of 35 years (on and off) Gabriel. Aziraphale’s family is awful again, having sided with Gabriel even though he cheated. Follows their path to loving each other.
Eden Bar- Crowley tries to buy Aziraphale a drink when he finds him reading in a bar, but he’s turned down. They spend a year dancing around each other, each going home with men the other sends their way. Eventually Crowley needs a (fake) date for a work party and we all know what happens from there. Aziraphale is less likable for a bit in this one, but it gets better.

Sexuality amid Globalization and Nationalism:
A Model based on China
By Jian Fu
The relationships between globalization, nationalism, and LGBTQ+ human rights create a complex landscape for discussions of sexuality. On one hand, the norms of LGBTQ+ rights have been disseminating globally, as evidenced by the legalization of marriage equality in 36 countries by 2024. On the other hand, right-wing populists and nationalists opposing LGBTQ+ rights are on the rise globally. For example, countries like Russia and Uganda not only refuse to safeguard these rights but actively persecute LGBTQ+ communities. Even in Canada, which was recognized as the most LGBTQ+-friendly country by Equaldex (2023), anti-LGBTQ+ movements like the “1 Million March 4 Children” have emerged. In this intricate context, how should we navigate the interplay between sexuality, globalization, and nationalism?
My Memorial University Ph.D. dissertation uses China as a case study to explore these intersections. China, deeply embedded in the global economic system while promoting patriotism through its authoritarian regime, provides a quintessential example of how sexuality in the Global South intersects with globalization and nationalism. To explore these intersections, I conducted four months of fieldwork in 2019 across four cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Lanzhou) in China. With the help of local LGBTQ+ non-governmental organizations, particularly Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) China, I recruited a total of 43 participants and participated in 26 activities organized by various LGBTQ+ non-governmental organizations. Additionally, I conducted document analysis, news media research, and social media research. My data also includes one online survey, conducted in collaboration with PFLAG China’s Beijing Branch. This survey incorporated a scale designed to measure the attitudes of sexual minorities in China towards nationalism. The results indicated that 47.6% of respondents (1760) maintained a neutral stance on patriotism, while 15.7% identified as nationalists, and 1.0% as highly nationalist. Those opposed to nationalism within the Chinese LGBTQ+ community accounted for 35.8% of the survey sample.

The Canadian and Rainbow Flags. Photograph by Stephen Harold Riggins.
This data allowed me to address three key research questions. First, regarding the intersection of sexuality, nationalism, and globalization in public discourse, my findings reveal that while external entities have pressured China on LGBTQ+ rights through naming, shaming, and direct advocacy, these external pressures encounter two significant dilemmas due to the principles of noninterference and particularism. The principle of noninterference requires the protection of national sovereignty, the promotion of self-determination, and refraining from interfering in the internal affairs of states. However, international human rights pressure on domestic policy changes inevitably raises the dilemma of potential interference in a nation’s internal affairs. The principle of particularism faces the challenge of promoting cross-border “universal” human rights standards while respecting regional, cultural, and religious differences.
Chinese nationalist discourse utilizes particularism to emphasize distinctive and authentic sexual traditions and values, and noninterference to frame external LGBTQ+ rights advocacy as interference from hostile foreign forces. However, Chinese nationalists exhibit a divided response to the definition of authentic Chinese sexuality, resulting in the coexistence of conflicting sexual nationalism discourses – namely, homophobic nationalism and homonationalism. Specifically, homophobic nationalists emphasize heterosexuality as authentic Chinese sexual values, while they consider homosexuality to be “abnormal” or “degraded.” Chinese homonationalists, on the other hand, argue that homosexuality is a prevalent phenomenon in Chinese history and literature and that there has been no historical or current systematic persecution of homosexuals in China, which distinguishes it from Western societies. Homonationalists frequently cite Chinese “male love/porn (男风/男色)” idioms such as “long yang (龙阳)” and “broken sleeve (断袖)” and intimacies between two women, such as “jinlan qi (金兰契)” or “self-combing (自梳),” which are recorded in Chinese history. Homonationalists selectively overlook or deny the unfriendly conditions for the Chinese LGBTQ+ community while arguing that the homophobia present in China has been imported from the West.
Regarding how individuals within the Chinese LGBTQ+ community navigate their sexual identity amidst the complex interplay of nationalism and globalization, I developed an ideal typology categorizing them into three groups: Nationalists, Liberals, and Avoidants. Nationalist-leaning LGBTQ+ individuals in China, often referred to as “Pink Gays” (a combination of “little pinks (小粉红)” and “gays”) by their opponents, represent a unique phenomenon within the Chinese context.
The term “little pinks” originally referred to fans of the Boys’ Love (BL) subculture on Jinjiang Literature City, an online literature platform (Fang & Repnikova, 2018, “Demystifying ‘Little Pink’: The Creation and Evolution of a Gendered Label for Nationalistic Activists in China”). BL subculture fans typically discuss or write about romantic and sometimes sexual relationships between male characters on Jinjiang. A small group of these fans, known as the “Jinjiang girls who are worried about the country (晋江忧国少女团),” often wrote about patriotism and nationalism on the forum. In 2015, these nationalist BL fans engaged in an online scolding war with liberal public opinion leader Daguguji (@大咕咕鸡), which led to the term “little pinks” coming to refer to young nationalist girls. While the nationalist BL fans called Daguguji “chicken shit,” Daguguji referred to them as ugly “little pinks,” suggesting they were blindly supportive of the government. The 2016 “Diba Crusade Incident (帝吧出征)” further popularized the term “little pinks” on the Chinese internet, where it has been appropriated by liberals to mock nationalist young people as ideologically regressive and emotionally zealous, likening them to the Red Guards of the Cultural Revolution (Fang & Repnikova, 2018). My social media research finds that since 2017, the term “Pink Gay” has emerged, targeting pro-regime and patriotic gay individuals who are criticized by LGBTQ+ liberals for supporting a government that suppresses their rights.
The most notable characteristic of nationalist-leaning (Pink) LGBTQ+ individuals is their adoption of a pro-regime stance and their belief that showcasing “positive energy” is the correct approach to advancing LGBTQ+ rights. Despite the government’s suppression of the LGBTQ+ community, Pink Gays support and even praise the Chinese government. Their logic, though controversial, is based on several strategies. They employ victim/LGBTQ+ blaming and public blaming to separate the state from the social suffering and individual difficulties experienced by the LGBTQ+ community, such as by criticizing HIV/AIDS issues as the result of a lack of self-discipline among gay men. And they use downward comparison, highlighting that LGBTQ+ rights in China are relatively better than in other countries where LGBTQ+ people face more severe persecution or that the general heterosexual population in China also faces numerous challenges. Moreover, they establish patriotism as a salient identity, prioritizing their identity as patriotic Chinese citizens over their LGBTQ+ identity, which they are willing to sacrifice for national pride.
In contrast, Chinese LGBTQ+ Liberals represent the opposite group, associating LGBTQ+ suffering directly with the Chinese state. Unlike Pink Gays, who use downward comparison, Liberals employ upward comparison, emphasizing the disparity between LGBTQ+ rights in China and more progressive countries. Moreover, while Pink Gays prioritize patriotism, Liberals decouple their “love for the country” from state-sponsored patriotism, expressing love for the land and people rather than the Chinese government or Communist Party.
LGBTQ+ Avoidants, in contrast to both Pink Gays and LGBTQ+ Liberals, choose to navigate the contradictions of sexuality, nationalism, and globalization by avoiding them altogether. Their logic is rooted in pragmatism: they prioritize survival over LGBTQ+ rights, fearing punishment and lacking the means or willingness to leave China. Consequently, they marginalize their LGBTQ+ identity to avoid potential risks.
Finally, regarding the strategies of Chinese LGBTQ+ activists, my findings reveal that they are both creative and pragmatic. For example, PFLAG China strategically utilizes filial nationalism – a state-led ideology that encourages loyalty to the nation akin to filial piety towards one’s parents. By framing its discourse within family values, PFLAG China mitigates risks when communicating with families, the public, and the government. Parents and families thus act as crucial intermediaries, mediating the power dynamics between sexual minorities and the state.
Moreover, despite rising nationalism, China’s deep integration into globalization – particularly within the neoliberal world economic system – creates paradoxical opportunities for LGBTQ+ activism. For instance, foreigners and foreign companies in China often enjoy certain privileges, which Chinese LGBTQ+ activists have leveraged. Examples include Shanghai Pride, which benefitted from the privileged status of foreigners, and internal equal policies implemented by transnational corporations such as IBM China. Additionally, some embassies (e.g., those of the U.S., EU, Netherlands, and Canada) and the United Nations’ human rights system have provided support to LGBTQ+ activism in China. However, these strategies carry risks, as seen in the closures of pioneering LGBTQ+ organizations like Shanghai Pride in 2020, LGBTQ+ Rights Advocacy China in 2021, and Beijing LGBTQ+ Center in 2023.
In conclusion, my research illuminates the interplay and operational mechanisms of sexuality, nationalism, and globalization within public discourse, individual experiences, and social movements. It contributes to a deeper understanding of intersectionality, diversity, and heterogeneity within the Chinese LGBTQ+ community. Furthermore, it sheds light on the internal heterogeneity of nationalism, the dynamic state-society relations in authoritarian regimes, and the geopolitics of LGBTQ+ human rights.

Background and History: The Rise and Fall of Tumblr
Introduction:
Tumblr has become a distinctive place in social media platforms, combining social networking, multimedia sharing, and microblogging. David Karp launched Tumblr in 2007, and it took off right away, drawing a wide range of users attracted to the platform's unique community dynamics and creative freedom. However, Tumblr had a bumpy road filled with ownership changes, conflicts, and a gradual drop in popularity despite its early success and unique characteristics. Tumblr's imaginative beginnings and history are among the many factors that influenced its development.
Founding and Early Vision:
David Karp, a New York-based web developer and entrepreneur, created Tumblr as a platform that simplified the process of sharing content online. Tumblr set itself apart when it launched in February 2007, focusing on short-form blogging, a user-friendly interface, and the seamless integration of multimedia components like GIFs, videos, and photographs. Karp saw Tumblr as a digital canvas where people could freely express themselves without being restricted by the rules of social networks or conventional blogging platforms. (Schoenfeld).

Innovative Features and Growth:
The unique aspects of Tumblr, such as its reblogging capability, changeable themes, and active community-driven environment, were crucial for the platform's early popularity. In contrast to traditional blogging sites, Tumblr encouraged remixing and teamwork, allowing users to create and distribute visually stunning material. The platform's ease of use and adaptability drew in many contributors, from writers and meme fans to photographers and artists. (Wang).
Acquisition by Yahoo and Corporate Influence:
In 2013, the $1.1 billion acquisition of Tumblr by Yahoo Inc. brought about a significant change in the platform. Users expressed concerns about possible changes to Tumblr's creative liberty and ethos following the acquisition. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer gave guarantees, but Tumblr needed help to balance corporate objectives and its independent ethos, which led to difficulties. Users who used to have an ad-free experience reacted negatively when Tumblr integrated sponsored content and advertising into its dashboard, indicating a change in the platform's direction. (Canales).

Decline and Controversies:
Tumblr encountered several issues and conflicts in the years that followed its acquisition, which reduced the platform's user base and cultural significance. Tumblr controversially banned adult content in 2018 in response to complaints over explicit and child pornographic content. Automated content screening algorithms imposed the ban, resulting in an extensive departure of users and intense criticism, especially from the LGBTQ+ and creative groups. The sudden policy shift further alienated Tumblr's core user base and highlighted the platform's struggle to balance content management and user freedom. (Ho).
Current Status and Legacy:
After being purchased by Automattic Inc. in 2013 from Verizon Media (previously Yahoo Inc.), Tumblr is still alive and well today. Tumblr is a specialized venue for artistic expression, even though its user base has decreased and its cultural significance has changed. Its popularity in social media has also reduced. The ups and downs of Tumblr serve as a prime example of how difficult it is to manage community dynamics, corporate ownership, and content management in the digital age. (Eldridge).
Conclusion:
Tumblr's story perfectly captures the changing essence of internet media and the delicate mix between creativity, business power, and user individuality. Tumblr's story, from its modest beginnings as a haven for digital creatives to its takeover by multinational corporations and eventual downfall, indicates larger patterns influencing the development of social media and digital culture. While its devoted followers will always remember it, Tumblr warns about the dangers of putting money before community and creativity.

Beer And Barbie
There is one thing I have learned from the Marketing gods through the years: “Hold my beer and watch this.” Just when I think I have seen everything—and I have been around long enough to have seen a lot—the Marketing gods remind me that the show has only just begun.
Take this year for example. Among the many Marketing challenges we have witnessed, anything to do with LGBTQ issues has found its way to headlines as well as board rooms. The Bud Light debacle last April over creating a one-off beer can given to trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney blew up in their face, and parent company AB-InBev has seen sales erode 10% in the US, with operating profit dropping 30%.
A huge conservative-led boycott ensued, with rock star Kid Rock leading the brigade when video was released showing him destroying cases of Bud Light. Of course, his credibility has come into question the last few days after he was allegedly spotted drinking a Bud Light in public. Sure, it could be a deep fake, but I haven’t heard any denials.
Regardless, the Budweiser brand must wrestle with the fact that they lost their Number One ranking to Modelo Beer. Never mind that they have issued rainbow Bud Light aluminum bottles for several years prior. Endorsing a trans star was apparently the last sip…I mean straw.
And then there’s Target, the mass merchandising retail chain that has supported Pride Month for years, but this year did it in a little more showy way. They once again offered a variety of Pride-themed merchandise, from cards, decor, and games, to dresses and skirts. They also sold a bathing suit that was tuck-friendly. But rumors persisted that Target was also “targeting” (my bad) youth with tuck-friendly bathing attire as well, which was not true. Some shoppers destroyed displays in stores, and Target moved the seasonal display to farther back in the store, either in the Women’s Department, or all the way in the back.
To date, Target has witnessed its sales fall 5.4% since everything blew up, although it is difficult to attribute all of that to their support of the LGBTQ community. After all, US citizens were also vacationing overseas in the largest numbers since COVID.
There were others that were hit with criticism, even very conservative Cracker Barrel for their social media posts supporting Pride. As it turns out, many prominent companies showed some level of support for Pride Month, but went unnoticed. It’s here to stay, and no matter how many times people sing Jason Aldean’s “Try That In A Small Town” or Oliver Anthony’s “Rich Men North Of Richmond,” both of which have become anthemic in the conservative community, the ship has sailed.
It just may take a while for people to move from accepting gay to also accepting trans. That has proved to be a Big Gulp moment.
But wait, there’s more! Barbie has blown up the box office this summer with more than $1 billion in ticket sales. And, because it took on the patriarchy, it naturally rattled the sensibilities of some. Women loved it; I witnessed my own step-daughter getting all dressed up in pink to go see a movie. I asked her husband if he was going to dress as Ken, but he declined. The Marketers played up the movie as if Barbie were royalty; I even saw it being promoted heavily in Costa Rica. Sadly, some Middle Eastern nations have banned the movie because of its support for gays, not to mention the elevated role of women.
Back in the States, women took a lot of heat for dressing to the nines to watch a flick about the doll of their childhood, and the message therein also angered some. I’m looking at you, Bud Light-boycotting folks. I’m thinking insecure grumpy old men (which I try not to be) who can’t handle change as well as equality for women. I could have sworn we settled that issue decades ago, but maybe not.
In fact, last week while walking to AT&T Stadium in Arlington for a Dallas Cowboys preseason game, I photographed a gaggle of males all duded up in Cowboys jerseys. My oldest daughter saw it first. “Dad! Take a picture and post it!” I did. Apparently it’s OK for guys to dress up for a game, but not women for a movie. Go figure.

In the middle of all of these storms is social media, the force with which we all must reckon. We must know how to leverage it, but also know how to deal with it when the fallout deepens. Any Marketer who buries its head in the sand is destined to be pummeled in the arena of public hatred.
As always, YMMV on these matters, and I respect my students and their beliefs regardless. We don’t have to agree on everything, and you certainly do not have to agree with me. Just be able to support your claims, that’s all I ask.
Meanwhile, the imperative for us all as Marketers is clear: Be careful. Be very careful. In these highly contentious times, it is now a given that you will upset at least some of the people most of the time. How you handle that will determine how many stripes you wear on your sleeves.
