Ok so I mentioned this previously but never elaborated on it

But oh my god, in a universe where these two co-exist? Better believe he rethinks being such a ler all the time.

Streber always goes straight for his neck, and Kevin goes for that little spot between the ribs and armpits. Kevin's just trying to satisfy his ler mood and Streber's looking for the sweetest, tastiest laughter he can get, which drives Ethan up the wall because Kevin's tickles are so bad but Streber's are so nice but he doesn't want to make Kevin think he likes his tickles less so he just has to take it until the two get their fill. Nearly every night Ethan finds himself cotton-brained and giggly, snuggled between his two loving bfs

Does the amount of laughter streber needs change depending on his mood?

Like if he was in a generally happy mood versus like right after Halloween or smth would that change

I suppose a lot of things could affect how much laughter he needs, including his mood. After all, it's basically a non-essential hunger unless the hunger is too severe, so more stress would make him need more laughter.

I will also add to this idea!

One of the lees notices he's a bit cranky and decides to ask him for attention, not necessarily because they want it, but because they know he would appreciate having a break.

He's so wrapped up in work that his "hunger" goes unnoticed (he strikes me as the "all or nothing" type) and someone has to convince him to stop and take care of himself.

Please these ideas are so cute 🥺

1- For this one I'm singling out Confi. She'd see Streber so cranky and upset and tries to figure out what's wrong. Of course, being him, he decides to be difficult until she finally says that if he needs a break, she's fine with being tickled. Streber is just so touched by her kindness and how could he refuse this chance? Turns out that getting a nice fill of laughter improves his mood and gives him the motivation to fix what's stressing him

2- Now this one. Streber is an overworker. Always has been. If it's not done right it gets redone, all over again. But this can be really detrimental to his health. He starts getting hungrier for laughter but refuses to give up, leaving him grumpy, stressed and irritable. Eventually Leon has to pull him away and snap him out of it with a full lecture (which isn't usually his style, so Streber's a bit taken aback). Streber concedes and decides he'll feed. Of course, Leon lets Streber have his laughter, and after the whole thing Streber feels much better. And, as it turns out, working on a full tank helps him finish much faster!

I can only imagine that since Kevin is a candyman, his laughter would probably be the sweetest

Why yes, due to Kevin and Streber being extremely close and Kevin loving being tickled, Kevin's laughter tastes absolutely amazing to Streber

Seeing the last ask about Streber, may I offer a thought?

What if his hunger for laughter is the reason he put up the haunted house in the first place?

Hear me out: from my experience, most children (or people in general) find haunted houses to be silly, not scary.

With that said, Streber probably gets fed quite well whenever someone comes by... :3

Oooo, possibly! But, as we do see in the show, some of his friends are a little... too good at being scare actors, as the first people we see pass through are pretty scared. Ofc I'm sure some people think it's silly, but if he doesn't get his fill that night, well, he'll have to settle for his scariest friend.

Is that like, he's actually hungry for laughter?

Because if that's the case, any of his friends are kinda screwed if he gets "hungry" lol.

From what I understand, stress causes hunger, so since Streber is almost always stressed, he's probably always looking for a fix.

Which means he's CONSTANTLY hunting down his friends and tickling them to hell until he gets his fill.

I wasn't actually aware that stress causes hunger, but it does make sense, I suppose, so this would lead to Streber constantly needing a fill. Ofc his go-tos are his precious boyfriends, but if they're tickled out, it's a good thing he has five other friends to go after! Of course, the laughter doesn't have to be tickle-induced, but he finds that kind of laughter to be particularly delicious, in a sense. Of course, if he can't access his friend's laughter, he'll hang out in a comedy club or something and hope there's a good act on so he can idly feed.

I feel like this is bound to happen at some point so I'll just do it now:

what happens?

First it's awkward.

Then they get to talking

Realizations are made

Then friendships.

Then tickle fights

Good god, I can imagine how this would go down.

The first time this happens, I can see Streber gathering his friends and being really solemn about it first, being like "I've noticed some of you got more screams than laughs this evening. Who was it?" and when he finds out who it was, he takes them to the machine and lets that handle them as "punishment" for doing their jobs too well.

He figures it out on his own and does the whole "we need to talk" thing, but then uses a more hands-on approach.

Ultimately ends up with that person getting the life wrecked out of them.

1- Ok so this one would prob both confuse and scare the shit out of the others lol, they'd be like oh no he mad, and once the singled out party is taken and wrecked half to death, they're both scared and relieved af

2- I bet he'd have cameras up in case something went wrong, so he just silently isolates the friend and just absolutely demolishes them

When lf!vampire Streber was first introduced, you mentioned that if he didn't get enough laughs from the haunted house that he'd punish his scariest actor friend.

Who would that be?

It depends on who got the most screams instead of laughs. But quite often it'll be Ethan with his already spooky looks, or Diego bc he's wearing a full-body costume, which can be scarier to little kids

Is there an upper limit on how much lf!vampire Streber can take?

Like if too many people are laughing all at once, can he select how much he takes or does he get overwhelmed?

Oh no, it makes perfect sense! It's also a great question. I think it'd be like charging a phone. When he gains enough energy from the laughter, it just kinda stops giving him energy until he needs it to. He can still enjoy the melodious sounds of happiness :>

Does lf!vampire Streber have to feed off of OTHER people's laughter, or can he satisfy this by having a lee mood?

Hmm, that's an interesting thought! I think it works like normal vampires, where they can't feed off of themselves or each other.
