ー The scene starts in Kino’s room at the Ghouls’ manor

Kino: ーー Welcome back. So, any updates?

Kino: Hmm, both of them went to the human world, huh? I doubt Shuu has any intention to go to Eden, so they should just learn when to give up.

Guess I have no other choice. Yuuri, we’re heading out too.

Yuuri: To the human world?

Kino: Yeah. I have to get back to my Demon hunting activities soon, or those old geezers from the Church will get on my case.

I suppose this is the perfect opportunity to hunt a Vampire. Fufu...

ー The scene shifts to the entrance hall of the Sakamaki manor

Yuma: ーー Haah!? He’s absent!?

Reiji: ...Could you please keep your voice down? 

Like I mentioned earlier, Shuu has been away from home for a while now. Therefore, he has yet to even take a look at Ruki’s letter. 

Yui: ( No way...He didn’t just not answer, but he hasn’t even read it. )

Yuma: Ya don’t know where he is then!?

Reiji: I do not, nor do I have the faintest clue. I do not bother to track every single movement of my siblings. 

I understand the situation you are in. It is very clear from Ruki’s letter. 

However, I believe it would be best not to expect too much from Shuu in this regard. Who knows when that man will come back home.

Yuma: ...Ya bastard! Do ya have any clue what we’re goin’ through over there!?

Reiji: I know very well, of course. I read the letter which was delivered to us previously in my brother’ place.

Yuma: Then ya know that Eden is in deep shit, right!? Yet ya can act as if there’s nothin’ goin’ on!?

Reiji: There is not much I can do if Shuu is not willing to cooperate. Despite everything, he is still the heir, so I cannot tell him what to do. 

Yuma: But you’re still his brother first and foremost, right!? Ya could go look for him and try to convince his sad ass!

Reiji: I am sure that is what you four would do. However, our family is a completely different story.

We only ever act if there is something to personally gain from it. I fail to see how convincing Shuu and getting him to go to the Demon World would benefit me in any way.

Yuma: Ugh...

Reiji: Is that all you wanted to say?

Yui: ...Reiji-sanーー

Reiji: No, I personally do. 

However, the man who actually inherited the throne has shown zero interest in doing anything about it. So what can I do then? 

→ Aren’t you worried about Shuu-san?

Yui: Aren’t you worried about Shuu-san?

Reiji: What a personal question. I do not feel the need to answer that.

Reiji: It all depends on what the heir choses to do. If you understand that, then may I please ask you to leave?

ー The scene shifts to the outside of the Sakamaki manor

Yuma: Goddamnit! That asshole’s still as disgustin’ as ever!

Yui: I can’t believe Shuu-san has been absent this whole time. ...Where could he be?

Yuma: Beats me! I have no damn clue but there’s no way I’ll find him if his own brothers can’t.

I never expected him to come with us once we explain the situation. 

But knowin’ all of this, I’m definitely gonna drag his ass over to Eden once we find him, even if it means havin’ to use force!

Yui: V-Violence isn’t the answer?

Yuma: Then got a better idea? That damn NEET is never comin’ with us otherwise!

Yui: ( Maybe not, but... )

Yuma: Anyway, let’s look for him. ...That bein’ said, we don’t even know where to start. What now...?

*CAW CAW CAW*

Yui: ( The cries of crows...? ...Ah! )

Yuma-kun, look! Up at the sky!

ー Yui spots Kino up in the air

Yuma: Was that...That bastard Kino just now!? 

Yui: Why is he in the human world...? He was in the Demon World, wasn’t he? 

Yuma: ...That’s fishy. Oi, Yui! Let’s go after him!

Yui: Eh!?

Yuma: He said he’d steal those powers, remember? He might be headed towards wherever Shuu is!

It’s not like we have any other clue where he might be, so it’s worth the shot. Let’s go!

Monologue

Without giving me a chance to reply,

Yuma-kun lifted me into his arms,

following the direction where Kino-kun flew off into.

The sky was pitch-black,

from the second you lose focus, Kino-kun would fade into the dark (闇) of the night.

While it was all just speculation at this point,

it felt as if he was on his way to go meet Shuu-san.

I just had this bad hunch (嫌な予感) he was,

lingering deep inside my heart.
