Life for Lewis changed a lot after he lost his job. He reconnected with his best friend, had a bit of a messy situation with her, but ultimately they worked things out. Despite her turning him down on both a relationship and partnership, he still felt like he had a bright future.

He started doing some freelance work to get himself going. On the side he worked on small robotics projects he would sell. Things seemed to be going well, he even managed to score a job as an astronaut. It was a dream come true. Once Nova had given birth to her daughter, Sawyer, he invited her and Akira out for drinks to celebrate (and maybe to butter up Akira who was not the fondest of him). 

He felt like his life had finally turned around. His freelance work had diminished, but his professional life had seen great improvements. He was able to climb the latter rather fast, though he would have to admit he used his programming skills for evil by hacking his work performance a few times. 

On the side he had managed to tinker enough to the point where he created Servo. She was one of his biggest achievements outside of his career. She kept his home in shape while he worked on another project - a rocket ship.

He had managed to get all the scraps and upgrades required for it to function. Nova gifted him her telescope before she had Sawyer, feeling as though she wouldn’t have much time to use it. He was thankful for the gift as it had helped him spot a strange planet - Sixam.

With only a dream to fuel him he worked endlessly, sometimes to the detriment of his health. Finally he finished his rocket. He used it almost immediately to go and explore the strange and far off planet.

It was unlike their home; filled with strange plants and creatures. He was so caught up in his discoveries that he had failed to notice he was being watched. Humans on Sixam was not an everyday thing. 

Lewis returned home, excited by all his discoveries - though some had died upon returning home. His story didn’t end there though. He couldn’t be an Alien Researcher without ever having contact with Aliens, now can he?

Just two nights after he had returned home with his specimens he spotted strange green lights outside his window. He went to investigate them only to find himself being abducted.

His memory upon his return was hazy at best. He knew something had happened, but he couldn’t say what exactly it was.

Months went by and he found himself feeling very ill. He went to the hospital where they performed some tests, one of which was an ultrasound. The technician didn’t believe their eyes and thought he had a tumor. Lewis knew better though.

At this point he started to panic. He had no idea what was happening or what he was going to do or how to explain it. His paranoia got to him first. He couldn’t stay in Strangerville. He packed his bags that night and left with Servo to Evergreen Harbor. He quit his job as well and went back to doing freelance work under a fake name.

He researched as much as he could, looking for a solution. Servo had been scanning him constantly and found his stress levels to be too high. She tried to calm him, but he was too frantic. During one of his episodes it finally happened, he went into labor. It was terrifying. He had no choice, he had to go to the hospital.

At the hospital he checked in as a John Doe and was rushed in to surgery. Servo came with him and tried her best to talk him through everything. The doctor performed a c-section on him at Servo’s strong request and was shocked to actually deliver a baby.

Lewis paid him off with 5000 simoleons then took the baby and ran home. It wasn’t human. For days Lewis pondered what to do. He didn’t want to be a father to a human baby, never mind an alien baby!

Eventually he came around to the idea. Servo had been the one to name him Luka and had been taking care of him while Lewis took time to recover. They made for an odd family, but when Lewis reevaluated his situation... it wasn’t so bad.

When Luka aged up he gained the ability to disguise himself. It wasn’t perfect, but it allowed Lewis to take him out and introduce him to Nova.

As of now, Lewis is still close to Nova and is friendly with Akira. The happy couple are actually expecting their second child soon. While the three of them catch up (and the guys care for Nova) Servo tends to the children. Mostly making sure Luka’s secret isn’t discovered and that Sawyer stays out of trouble (she likes to make messes... a LOT).
