Levi x Reader where Levi accidentally hurts the reader during a training exercise.
This was so fun to write! Thanks for sending it in, I loved this idea :)
Summary: Levi takes it a bit too far
Word Count: 2.9K
___
It was a sunny afternoon when they arrived. The trio stood up on the small stage elevated above the rest of the regiment. You were transfixed by the way they carried themselves, so unlike the other people that you had met thus far. The youngest one, a boisterous redhead with sparkling green eyes stood proud, chin held high with a dazzling grin. The blonde stood just as tall, his shoulders squared and blue eyes shining with excitement as the squad leader introduced them. However, the third one seemed hardly interested in giving off a warm or inviting greeting. While he stood just as tall, his arms were crossed and his eyes were narrowed as he surveyed the crowd.
"Introduce yourselves." The man said, stepping aside to give them a chance to speak.
"The name's Isabel Magnolia!" The redhead exclaimed as she gave a sloppy salute. You felt the corner of your mouth tug upwards in amusement.
"Farlan Church." The blonde said simply, his hand fell to the right side of his chest and you heard a few soldiers murmur at his small mistake.
"Levi." The other man said, not even bothering to give the salute.
"Dismissed, carry on with your daily training." The squad leader dismissed the soldiers and you found yourself glancing over your shoulder to watch the trio begin their tour of the grounds.
"Say, that dark haired man was rather mysterious." Hange leaned down to comment as she fell into step beside you.
"I'll say, didn't even give his last name!" You agreed as the two of you set off towards the sparring grounds.
"They sure are an interesting bunch." Hange rubbed her hands together and a blush began to blossom on her cheeks. You swatted her bicep and shot her a sharp glare.
"Don't go getting weird ideas now." You scolded and she whimpered dejectedly.
"No need to worry." She patted you square on the back and you jutted your bottom lip out in a pout.
"That's impossible when it comes to you." You scoffed as the two of you rounded the corner and came into the dusty field the scouts used to spar in.
"You're just being dramatic, now let's get started. I sure hope that you've improved since the last time!" With that, the two of you found an empty space and began to spar. You had been partners since your training corps days, seeing that Hange was so much better at it than you, she had offered to give you some pointers.
Towards the end of the afternoon, a few hours before dinner. The trio arrived at the sparring grounds, standing off to the side taking in the sparring soldiers. The redhead rushed fearlessly up to a group of younger girls who were on a short break. She fell seamlessly in with them and even began to spar with them a bit. Farlan gave Levi a clap on the back before jogging over to a group of men and also slipping easily into a conversation.
"Looks like grumpy needs a hand." Hange nudged you and you shook your head.
"Are you insane?! There's no way-"
"Oi! Levi! Over here." Hange yelled over you and waved excitedly at the man who's brows furrowed at the stranger calling out to him like an old friend. When he made no move to join you, a sense of relief filled you, maybe there was hope that you wouldn't have to speak to the grouchy stranger.
That was until Hange snagged your arm and hauled you in his direction. You stumbled after her, a furious blush filling your cheeks and neck as some soldiers looked up at the commotion. She came to a stop a few feet away from him, holding her hand out to him with a bright smile.
"I'm Hange Zoe! And this here is (Y/n), want to spar with us?" Hange introduced the two of you and Levi kicked the toe of his boot into the dust, causing a small cloud to fill the space between you.
"I'd rather not." He said bluntly and you tugged on Hange's jacket.
"See, I told you to leave him be." You hissed and Hange shrugged you off.
"I'm eager to see what you're capable of, and (Y/n) here needs a fresh sparring partner! I'm afraid she's gotten much better than me and you look like the perfect partner!" Hange shoved you closer and you swallowed thickly as his eyes raked up and down your form.
"Not interested." He stayed firm in his previous standing, however Hange was persistent.
"One match, that's all I ask." She held up a finger, glasses glinting in the light.
"If I do this, will you leave me alone?" He growled and you tried to take another step back, not eager to spar with the stranger.
"Of course." Your eyes fell on Hange's back, where her fingers were crossed at the small of her back out of his view. You let out a pathetic whimper at this.
"Fine." He raised his hands up, fists curled tightly as he widened his stance.
"Go get 'em champ." Hange clapped you on the back and you inhaled sharply, mirroring his stance. You weren't one to back down from a challenge, even if you knew you were about to get your ass handed to you.
"Last chance to back out." He warned, and you shook your head, he nodded in response. In the blink of an eye, he rushed you. Despite his short stature, he was rather fast, closing the distance between you in shocking speed. You narrowly dodged his experimental first blow aimed at your face.
You sidestepped him and swung at his exposed stomach, he blocked you effortlessly with his forearm and swiped at your own open abdomen. You weren't nearly fast enough to dodge this one, taking the blow, you used the force of the hit to take a healthy step back. He was relentless, pursuing you and taking another swing at you. This time you were ready, catching his wrist and steering him away from you. Now that you were back in his space, you tugged him closer, bringing your knee up and landing a solid hit to his lower stomach. You felt the rush of air tickle your face as you knocked some wind from his chest.
He grunted and swung again, this time landing a punch right on your chin, you felt the skin split as your ears rang from the impact. Your head fell to the side and you stumbled back, embarrassment flooding through you as the blood ran down your chin.
"Cheap shot." You growled as he stood back, allowing a moment to see if you fell to the ground, thus rendering him the winner.
"No such thing." He countered before stalking towards you. Your vision was still swimming as he began to rapidly attempt to punch you once more. You narrowly dodged them before spotting an opening in his own stance. You didn't even think before putting all your strength into an uppercut, you felt his sternum through his thin shirt and a small surge of pride filled you when he let out a pained grunt.
It was his turn to take a step back, but you remembered the ruthless way he had come at you moments before and you returned the favor, landing two more hits to his stomach before retreating. On your way to a hasty exit, he snagged your bicep in a vice grip, pulling you against him and turning you around, twisting your arm behind your back painfully.
You felt the joints crack as you were forced into the position. His leg swiped your own feet out from underneath you and you tumbled to the ground with him resting the majority of his weight on you. Your mouth was filled with the taste of iron as the gravel bit into the side of your face.
Even though it was clear that he had won, he remained on top of you, twisting your arm further and further. You finally let out an agonized yelp when you felt your arm slip out of its socket. He grunted, seemingly pleased with his work before standing up once more. A crowd had gathered around to look on in horror as he stood over your pitiful form.
"Anyone else?" He growled, chest rising and falling from the exertion of the fight. When nobody said anything, he turned on his heel and stalked back the way that the trio had come from.
"Didn't think so." He mumbled as he pushed past the few soldiers that had crowded around the two of you.
"Levi! Wait up!" Isabel called after him, the pair followed their friend, shooting an almost apologetic glance back at you as you propped yourself up on your good arm. Once they were gone, Hange rushed to your side, pulling you to your feet with concerned eyes. You hissed and pulled free from her grasp and she winced as you cradled your injured arm.
"I told you I didn't want to fight him." You snarled before storming off of the grounds, blood dripping down your face and arm aching. Now you wouldn't be able to participate in the upcoming mission all because some calloused man had taken a fight too far to boost his ego. Not to mention, the only reason you had been put in that position was because your friend had set you up, knowing full well how prideful you were.
--
You skipped dinner, too ashamed to show your face in front of the others. Instead you camped out in the infirmary, arm tied into a sling and chin covered in a massive bandaid. Not to mention the scratches on the right side of your face from being pressed into the coarse dirt.
As you had presumed, the injury that Levi had given you would take more than three weeks to fully heal, meaning you would be exempt from the upcoming expedition in less than two weeks. You were beyond pissed, you had worked so hard, finally improving in your ODM skills. It felt as if all of your hard work had been lost, and now you would have to work even harder to regain that skill after being prescribed rest with little to no training.
Two weeks later you watched the scouts pack up and head out for the expedition, you stood by the stables, glaring holes into the back of Levi's head as he guided his horse from the stall. He didn't even spare you a glance as he mounted the black mare and spurred her to fall into step with the other soldiers who were filing out of the castle gates.
If he lived, you vowed to approach him and give him a stern talking to. Hange snuck up on you, gripping the reins to her horse in one hand and using the other to ruffle your hair.
"See you soon." She promised and you nodded as she walked the mare out of the stables and mounted it, glancing over her shoulder to give you one last small wave. You nodded and cradled your arm in the sling as you watched your squad leave the grounds, the last group to depart.
The grounds felt empty and you felt even emptier as you wondered the halls of the castle on your own. You kept yourself busy with some chores that the doctor had given you the okay of completing. About halfway through the day, rain clouds moved in and began to weep over the dry earth. You stood near the window and gnawed on your cuticles, thinking of all the issues the storm brought that could interfere with the expedition. You could only hope that the rain had missed them and they were making good time.
--
Of course, luck had not been on the scouts side that day. Not that it wasn't surprising. They crawled back to the castle with their tails between their legs, bloodied and mangled. Only the lucky ones made it back alive, others meeting a much worse fate on the other side of the wall. You stood by the door holding it open for the medics as they hauled in the injured. Hange was helping a young woman in, offering you a pained grin as she passed. Your mouth couldn't even begin to return the smile, instead you nodded and closed the door behind her.
Erwin came in last, Levi following him like a shadow, wet hair covering his eyes as he followed the commander obediently. Your eyes narrowed in confusion, last you had checked, Levi had barely been able to look at Erwin without showing a hint of malice.
"Get some rest." Erwin dismissed him and you watched him split off, marching back towards the dining hall. You debated following Erwin and asking how the mission had gone, but the way his blue eyes avoided yours told you that would be a conversation for another time.
So instead you retreated back to your room, going to dinner would be too depressing. Seeing all of the empty seats always broke your heart.
--
It was months later that you found yourself alone with Levi for the first time. It had been an accident of course, you had crept down to the kitchen in search of a glass of water. The raven haired man was seated at one of the long tables, a cup of steaming tea in front of him. You silently closed the door behind yourself and rushed into the kitchen, hoping to quickly get what you came for and retreat.
However as you stood chugging the water, you couldn't help but feel bad for the man. Of course you had heard of the brutal ends his friends had met, and the harsh words that Erwin had given to him afterwards. You felt bad for him, nobody wanted to befriend him except for Hange, especially after what he had done to you and what he had planned to do to your commander.
So carefully, you set the glass in the sink and rounded the counter that separated the kitchen from the dining hall. You felt like you were walking on eggshells as you crossed the room to stand across the table from him.
"I-I should've said this earlier...but I'm sorry about your friends." You stumbled awkwardly over your condolence and Levi glanced up at you. Smokey grey eyes apathetic as always as he met your eyes.
"Wasn't your fault." He responded as he lifted his cup by the rim to his lips.
"No...but I'm sure you miss them. May I?" You asked, gesturing towards the open seat across from him.
"Knock yourself out." He shrugged and you sank into the seat. The two of you sat in silence for a few moments as you grappled for something to talk about, something to lighten the mood.
"Your arm is healed." He commented, nodding towards the arm he had yanked from your socket. You scoffed and rolled your shoulder, still feeling a small pang of soreness in the motion. The doctor had told you that it was unlikely that you would regain full motion anytime soon.
"Somewhat, no thanks to you." You meant it both teasingly and seriously, just because his friends had died didn't mean that he had your full forgiveness yet. You had lost people too after all.
"What was I supposed to do? Kiss it better?" He asked gruffly, lifting his cup for another drink. You let out a bark of laughter, head falling back as you laughed at his crass words.
"Maybe next time." You chuckled and Levi clicked his tongue in response.
"Surprised you think there will be a next time." Levi's brow was raised in slight amusement as you leaned forward on the table and grinned brightly at him.
"I'd like to get a few pointers." You shrugged and he rolled his eyes.
"Based on our last bought, I doubt you can be taught." He grunted and you gasped in offense.
"Oh come on, I did hit you a few times." You giggled and Levi glared at you sharply.
"Who's to say that I didn't let you have those hits?" He set his cup down and you scoffed.
"As if." You rolled your eyes and shot him a playful grin, he shook his head and slowly stood from his seat, moving towards the kitchen.
"Don't get cocky chicken wing." He called over his shoulder and you felt the blood rush to your face and the backs of your ears.
"Chicken wing!?" You stood and chased after him into the kitchen.
"Who came up with that, tell me or so help me-"
"I did." He shrugged as he began rinsing out his cup.
"Oh so you break my arm and then you call me mean names? What an asshole." You leaned against the counter as you watched him wash the tea leaves out of his cup.
"I didn't break your arm." He clarified and you seethed.
"Not the point."
"Do you want my help or not?" He asked, turning to face you, his expression neutral and a tad annoyed.
"Yes....but don't call me that again." You scolded, jabbing a finger in his direction accusingly, he only shrugged and watched you stomp out of the kitchen.
He couldn't help but feel the small tug of affection that filled his chest, after speaking to you he realized just how alike you and Isabel were. This only made things harder for him of course, after losing those two he became determined to remain detached. But now you and Hange were making that hard for him. And if he was honest, he couldn't say he was all that mad about it.

“Here, thisun ‘sblue!” Hange slurs as she passes you yet another shot glass with Greek letters etched on the side.
“Mmm, I like blue,” you giggle, then clink your shot with hers before you both tip your heads back to pour the liquor down your throats. It tastes inexplicably like turquoise, and you laugh loudly over the thumping dance music in approval.
The poor freshman charged with staffing the drinks table eyes the pair of you skeptically. “Maybe you two should slow down, you seem like you’ve had enough—”
You round on him, offense written across your face. He’s definitely right, but you aren’t exactly gonna let some pimply, snot-nosed teen tell you how to drink. “Woah, Nelly, this ain’t cocktail hour, this is fuckin’ Greek row an’ I won’t have your judgment,” you waggle a finger in his general direction for emphasis, “harsh my vibe.”
“You tell ‘em, girlfriend,” Hange approves vaguely, hanging off your shoulder.
The freshman holds his hands up in defeat, amused. “No judgment.”
You nod once.
“C’mon, Han, let’s see if we can find the snacks.”
“Pleeeeeeease…”
You turn away from the drinks table to do just that, angling towards where you remember the kitchen to be — honestly, this frat is huge — and set off through the crowd. Hange trails after you, fingers tangled with yours like they have been all night, yammering on about something you can’t be bothered to follow.
“‘Scuse us, comin’ through, on a mission!” You push past jostling bodies until you reach the far wall and lean against it for the last leg of your epic journey to the fluorescent lights of the kitchen.
Someone calls your name and you look up through squinted eyes to see Sasha leaned up against the counter by the fridge, bowl of chips in her arms and dab pen tucked behind her ear. She’s dressed casually, sweatpants and DIY cropped t-shirt contrasting your jeans and flashy top.
“Sasha! My love! My dearest, sweetest darling!” You stretch your arms wide towards her, Hange jolting forward where you’re connected. “We come in search of snacks.”
Sasha laughs and lazily deposits her bowl on the counter, stepping forward to stabilize you both with a hand on your shoulder. “You’ve come to the right place, my friends.”
She steers you both to sit at the island, wedging you between the only other two people in the kitchen. You vaguely recognize them as soccer players on the university team: a shaggy-haired brunette and a tall blonde. Sasha passes you her dab pen before ambling over to the pantry. You take a hit, then pass it to Hange, who’s looking much better now that she’s sitting down.
“Sash, these your friends?” the blonde asks, peering down at you through red-rimmed hazel eyes. You pluck the pen out of Hange’s limp grasp and offer it to him in greeting, along with a drunk smile. He takes it and grins back.
“Yep,” Sasha confirms with half her body still stuck into the pantry. “It’s the mad scientist one and the architect.”
“Almost architect,” you correct. “Not official until I have my degree! Although, I will agree, Han’s a mad scientist.” You poke her in the side and she swats you away with an eye roll.
“Oh,” the brunette soccer player pipes up from Hange’s other side, now looking at you curiously as well. He’s also high, startling green eyes hooded and posture relaxed. “So you’re Braun’s ex.”
You hide your shudder of distaste by turning back to take a drag off the pen. “Please don’t tell me that’s all I’m known for,” you sigh out with a cloud of smoke.
“Eren, don’t be an ass.” Sasha finally returns with a box of chocolate pretzels and a bag of hot Cheetos. “Pick your poison, hot stuff,” she offers each in turn. You ponder for a second, then reach for the Cheetos. “That’s Eren—” she points to the brunette, who raises a lazy hand “—and that’s Jean—” the blonde reaches for the pretzels. Sasha makes an offended noise and cradles them to her chest.
You introduce both yourself and Hange while Sasha plays defense against Jean’s long reach.
“Sorry,” Eren apologizes to you, leaning over Hange to grab some Cheetos. “I heard what he did to you. Really shitty.” His tone is casual, but the way he’s practically pinning you in place with his eyes makes you twitch.
“Puh-lease,” Hange pulls out the word, long and sarcastic. “‘Twas more than shitty, what that douche did. I’d’ve wrung him out to dry, but she didn’t—”
You cut her off with a sharp poke to her side. “Drop it, Han, I don’t wanna think about it.”
“But— ooh!” She’s sufficiently distracted when you shove your food in front of her face.
“Sorry,” Eren apologizes again.
“S’okay,” you sigh and take another drag, then hold the pen out to him in a peace offering. He smiles slowly and takes it.
“You guys staying over? There’s plenty of room in the basement, and friends of Sasha’s are always welcome.” It’s Jean who offers, returning to his seat beside you with a singular pretzel for his trouble.
“Hmm, might be nice,” Hange muses, but you’re already shaking your head.
“Thank you, but my roommate’d probably have a conniption if I wasn’t home in the morning.”
Hange actually snorts at this, then starts coughing violently because of the hot Cheeto dust suddenly up her nose. You pat her back in mild concern.
“What, they got a stick up their ass or something?” Eren asks.
“Or something. Levi’s just protective.”
“Levi?” Eren’s eyes are suddenly wide, almost fearful. “Levi Ackerman?”
“Yeah.” Your tone edges on defensive. “Why?”
He takes a hit and shrugs before answering. “He’s just my foster sister’s cousin. Interesting family.”
“Oh, you mean Mikasa?” You didn’t know exactly how they were related, but she’d helped Levi move in and it had struck you how eerily similar they were in disposition.
“Yeah, Mikasa. She’s around here somewhere…” As though by magic, he turns to look over his shoulder just as Mikasa and another blonde boy you don’t recognize mosey in from the hallway. She’s leaning down to catch his soft words and he’s talking with his hands, stalling as his eyes light on the little group in the kitchen.
“Oh, hey guys,” he greets.
“Armiiiin,” Eren greets with a genuine smile. “Come meet some new friends.”
The pair rounds the kitchen island, Armin allowing Eren to pull him in by the arm and Mikasa going to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Sasha.
“I know you,” Hange pipes up, tilting her head to observe Armin. “You’re in the sophomore biochem class I TA for. Arlert, right?”
Armin ducks his head in a nod. “Yep. Professor LaBelle is a wonder, I had a great time this semester.”
“She is, isn’t she?” Hange’s grin is almost slipping to the dangerous side of intrigued. “I graded your final paper, by the way, and just between us, you set the grade curve.”
He blushes red but his eyes shine with something akin to satisfaction. “Really? That’s a relief, it was a bear to write.”
Eren leans back behind Hange to gesture to you, looking across the kitchen at his foster sister. “Mikasa, this is—”
“—Levi’s roommate,” they say at the same time.
“I know.” Her dark eyes regard you interestedly. “Hi, again,” she greets, saying your name even though she’s maybe heard it once in her life.
“Hi!” You give a small wave.
“What, uh, what,” Jean clears his throat and you look up at him to catch a blush staining across his cheeks and nose. He’s looking at Mikasa. “What’re you guys up to in the basement?”
“We were just going to start a movie, Connie’s setting up the projector,” Mikasa says, eyes flicking from you to Eren. “Wanted to see if you guys wanted to join.”
Jean stands suddenly, his stool rocking from the force of it. “Y-yeah, we’ll join!” Sasha hides a snicker behind her hand.
Eren stands, too, between Armin and Hange, who are still chatting. He looks down at you and says your name like a question. “You coming?”
You find yourself shaking your head again. “I’m so crossed, I think if I even look at a couch I’ll fall asleep. And I, uh,” you yawn, slipping your phone out of a back pocket to check the time. 12:11 AM. “I should be getting home.”
It’s earlier than when you would normally call it quits, but suddenly all you can think about is going home and falling into Levi’s clean, soft-smelling sheets. Plus, it’s the Saturday preceding finals week and tonight was only meant to blow off steam between intense days of studying.
“You stayin’?” You bump Hange with your shoulder, and she looks around at you with wide eyes as though she forgot you were there.
“Hmm?”
“You stayin’ for the movie?”
“We’re watching It: Chapter Two,” Armin supplies, eyes crinkled in excitement.
Hange’s eyes grow impossibly wider behind her glasses and she grabs your elbow a little too hard. “You wouldn’t mind, right? I’ve been meaning to watch it.”
You smile and shake your head. “Wouldn’t mind at all. You stay, I’ll call an Uber.”
The whole group starts migrating in the lazy way drunk and high people do: Mikasa helps Sasha with the snacks; Eren and Jean grab canned drinks from the fridge; Armin and Hange gravitate towards the door, talking fast with words you’ve never heard before. You stay sitting at the island, tapping away at your phone to order a car.
When you stand to find the front door, your high hits you from behind like a fuckin’ baseball bat and you sway dangerously. You whistle through your teeth, low and soft, planting a hand on the counter. Sasha looks over at you in concern, her arms full.
“You okay, babe?”
“Yeah, I just… what is in that dab pen?”
She laughs, head tilting back. “Good shit, right? Got that one new last week.”
“For real…” you trail off, getting your bearings.
“Here,” Mikasa starts, piling even more food into Sasha’s arms, “I’ll walk you out. Levi would skin me if he knew I didn’t make sure your driver’s not an ax murderer.”
Normally, you’d protest, but the room really is starting to spin.
“Okay,” you sigh and allow her to hook your arm through hers. She’s surprisingly solid, and you find yourself leaning heavily into her. “How’re you still sober?”
“I don’t drink or smoke,” she answers, gently pushing past Armin standing in the doorway. “Doesn’t affect me, anyway, so it’d just be a waste of money.”
“Huh,” you grunt, then twist to wave to the group. “Night, everyone.”
A replying chorus of “goodnight” chases you and Mikasa through the dark foyer littered with drunken party-goers.
“Oh, wait,” she pauses with a hand on the doorknob. “Did you bring a jacket?”
“Oh,” you wrinkle your nose and think back to getting ready in the afternoon. It had been unseasonably warm and your coat didn’t match your outfit. “No, I didn’t bring one.”
Mikasa gives you an odd look and deposits you by the door. “I’ll be right back.”
Your body feels light as you lean back, tucking your hands into your armpits so they don’t float away. Your eye catches on movement in the dark shadows by the staircase and you squint, trying to see who’s there. It takes a second, but you eventually make out a pair of people, well… making out. They’re completely absorbed in each other, bodies impossibly close and you giggle quietly to yourself before your stomach rolls. No, don’t think about… too late.
You shut your eyes tight and turn away from the couple to lean sideways against the wall. The image is too similar, too gut-punchingly familiar.
“Didn’t mean what? Didn’t mean to stick your tongue down my best friend’s throat? Didn’t mean to practically fuck your best friend’s girlfriend in public?”
The biting words and stuttered apologies are still rolling around in your head when Mikasa comes back, thick puffer coat in hand. She hands it to you and you mutter a subdued “thanks,” twitching to dislodge the dull pain that’s settled in your ribs.
“It’s Eren’s, but he won’t mind. He doesn’t wear this one a lot, and you can just give it back next time we see you.”
“Right,” you nod, head moving a little too easily as you slip your arms in and fumble with the zipper. The faux fur around the hood tickles your face as Mikasa flips it up over your head. She’s clearly experienced in the art of taking care of intoxicated people.
Outside, you’re grateful you bundled up because the temperature has dropped significantly since the afternoon. Chilly December wind bites at your face and you bury your hands in coat pockets to save them from the same fate. Your fingers brush against something cold and metallic, and before you know it you’re pulling out a fistful of crumby objects: a super plus tampon, the packaging split down the side; two “for her pleasure” condoms; and, inexplicably, a Hot Wheels matchbox car. An ugly snort escapes your nose and Mikasa looks over at you in alarm. You raise up your fist and she chuckles through her nose as well. Squinting in the dim light of a flickering streetlamp, you find the expiration date on the condoms to be several months ago, so you lean over to a convenient trash can and toss both them and the tampon. The matchbox car returns to the pocket. Who knows, maybe Eren’ll miss it if it’s gone.
Mikasa doesn’t look affected by the cold, only winding her red scarf more securely around her neck as you both quietly wait on the sidewalk for your Uber. A quick glance at the app tells you that it’s three minutes away.
“Are you and Levi close?” You find yourself asking into the night sounds of Greek Row on a Saturday night.
You almost think she doesn’t hear you over the sound of a group spilling out of a neighboring sorority, but then she answers.
“Not particularly. We didn’t grow up together and only connected because of Uncle Kenny a couple years ago.” Her tone is light and casual as she talks about her family, as though you should know who Uncle Kenny is. Should I know who Uncle Kenny is?
“Oh,” is all you can think to say.
“We may not be close,” she starts again, eyeing you closely, “but I think we’re very similar. And I can tell he cares a lot about you.”
“Oh. Right.” Your palms are suddenly sweaty in your pockets.
“He may not show it,” her tone is careful, “But he does.”
You smile faintly and kick your boot against the curb. “He does show it, in his own way. He’s been really good to me.” Somehow, it’s easy to talk about this to Mikasa, even when you get all stuttery and weird having an identical conversation with Hange. Maybe it’s the drugs and alcohol, or maybe it’s because there’s not a hint of judgment in Mikasa’s eyes. Either way, it feels good to speak your feelings into the world.
“Good.” She nods and follows your gaze to where you’re still scuffing the curb. “Some unsolicited advice for you: if you ever want anything besides mutual pining to come out of it, you need to be really obvious. Or make the first move outright.”
This makes you stutter and wring your hands, she just puts it so bluntly. “R-right, the first move…. Oh, I think that’s my car.”
“What’s the license plate number we’re looking for?”
You read it out from the app while Mikasa steps to the back of the blue sedan that just pulled up. She nods, confirming it’s the same, then circles to the driver’s side window, which is cracked open.
“Hi,” you greet the driver, a blonde woman in her late twenties, and confirm her name matches the one in the app before sliding into the back seat. Mikasa leans down to murmur something to her and she nods, glancing back at you in the rearview mirror.
“G’night, Mikasa,” you call out the window. “Thanks for everything. And tell Eren thanks for the jacket.”
She waves as the car pulls away. You settle into the quiet hum of the car and let your mind wander.
Mutual pining. Make the first move outright….
“Mikasa texted me,” Levi says by way of greeting as you stumble out of the car and thank your driver. He’s leaning on a lamp post outside your apartment building when your Uber pulls up, jacket and boots pulled on over flannel pajamas.
“Levi, stand ominously on the sidewalk often?” you ask, dragging out his name long and sing-song.
“Only for you, kid.” He loops an arm around your waist and steers you towards the entryway
“Not a kid,” you grumble, masking the stutter of your heart at his usual pet name for you. Somewhere in the last couple of weeks, it’s gained a weightier significance, at least to you. It’s endearing and a little distancing and charged all at once and it makes your head spin as you climb the stairs up to your floor.
At your door, Levi unlocks it while you drift slowly in a circle next to him, trying to expend the sudden nervous energy you’ve gained in his presence.
The first move, first move, first move… Mutual pining. Mutual.
“What are you muttering about?”
You hadn’t realized you were thinking out loud.
“Nothing,” you say quickly and pass through the door he’s holding open for you. Your momentum carries you farther than you mean to go, and he catches you by the elbow, reeling you back to the coat rack by the door.
“Whose jacket is that?” He shrugs off his own and eyes the faux fur around your face skeptically.
You fumble with the zipper for a second before he sighs and reaches for it himself, stepping into your space. His face is so close to yours you can feel his breath ghosting over your collarbone as he unzips the jacket.
“Eren’s,” you finally answer. “Look.” You pull the matchbox car out of its pocket and show it to Levi with a wide grin. He stares at it for a second, then the tiniest smile twitches onto his lips.
“He’s a weird kid.” It’s almost fond, with an undertone of exasperation.
“You know him?”
“Yeah, he’s in the art department, too. Graphic design major, marketing minor. I TAed his freshman seminar last year.” Levi slips the coat off your shoulders as he speaks, then hangs it by the loop next to his.
“Ah, that makes sense,” you muse, wandering farther into the apartment. “He looked terrified when I mentioned you. What’d you do to those poor freshmen?”
“Nothing they didn’t deserve.”
“...ominous,” you hiss, your eyes wide as you let him gently push you into your room. The nervous energy hasn’t quite been expended, and you find your hands wringing with it. Suddenly, you’re rambling about your night as he sits you down on your bed among the laundry that’s taken residence there in its disuse. The stupid song they played at the first frat; Sasha’s excellent food; the blue mystery shot.
“It tasted like turquoise, I swear, Levi! It was like magic!” Your eyes are wide, insistent as you lean forward into his space.
“How does something taste like turquoise?” He ducks his head to avoid your face, fingers untying the knotted laces of your boots.
“You’re the artist, you tell me.”
“I don’t eat my paint.”
“Not even once? Not gonna lie, your paint looks very tasty, sometimes…”
“Are you always this annoying when you’re high?” He tugs the second boot off your foot as you let yourself fall back onto your bed.
“Come on, you love me,” you crow to the ceiling. Mutual pining.
Levi mutters something under his breath.
“What?”
“Nothing. Where do you keep your pajamas?” He stands and looks around your room.
“Middle drawer, left side,” you direct, lazily motioning to your dresser with an arm. Your eyes flutter shut as you listen to Levi pick his way across the floor and slide the drawer open.
Normally, you can get yourself in bed after a night out just fine. Normally, you slip into the apartment making as little noise as possible, and fall into bed without Levi even waking up. But it feels nice to have his steady hands on you when it feels like your organs might start floating apart at any second. It’s anchoring and reassuring and you can feel the safety of being near him lulling you into a doze.
Come on, you love me.
You shoot up to sitting, mind whirling and chest tight. “L-Levi?”
“What.”
“D-do…” Do you love me? “Do you think I’m pretty?” It feels petty in your mouth and you immediately regret the words, but it would be worse to try and take them back, so you just bite your lip and look down at the floor.
A hand plops onto the top of your head. Levi’s gray eyes meet yours, soft with something you can’t describe, when he tilts your head up. He’s quiet for a moment, then reaches his other hand to thumb your bottom lip out from between your teeth.
“I think you’re very pretty.”

Finally I can post the Rivetra oneshot commission because I had a weird problem with my account.
for @himebee-5 (I know you already read it but I wanted to post it here :))
-> Petra acting jealous when girls are talking about her captain
Petra couldn’t think properly due to the noise around her, her head ached, and she needed some fresh air. The bar was full to burst at night, and her friends Nanaba and Nifa were drinking some beer, clearly not sober anymore. Their complexion was now reddish while some incomprehensible words were coming from their mouths.
Petra was the only one that didn’t drink too much, actually she barely touched her glass. Before going to the bar with her friends, Levi went to see her and made her promise to stay sober. He couldn’t be there tonight, he said he had something important to fix. She didn’t seek more, all she wanted to do was to have fun with her friends. Yet she still found it odd, it was a break day after all...
She stood and looked for an exit downstairs. Once out, Petra felt way better and could finally breathe. She sat against the brick wall and let her head falling back. She closed her eyes a moment, but rapidly something came to disturb her tranquility. She heard familiar voices from afar, women voices.
“Did you really talk to him? Is he really grumpy as everybody say?” said one tall blonde woman.
”Yes he is, but oddly it is somehow attractive...” the second one blushed with her hands on her cheeks as to hide her face.
”Even though he’s not physically attractive, I should say that he’s quite popular because he is strong and has a high position in the military... some women could be interested?”
“Oh I don’t think so Sofia, what woman would marry someone as coldhearted as he? Have you seen how he treats his subordinates? Do you remember that young boy who has a titan ability?”
“Yeah that’s right... I heard what happened at the court... then, do you really wanna try something with him or?”
“Well, even if he’s grumpy and all, Captain Levi’s still a good choice for a woman. After all, he could provide her some protection, even if it’s not by a marriage, he still could have fun with a woman, couldn’t he?”
”Probably.”
Petra was listening to their conversation with great attention, when it was about her captain, she was immediately careful to everything that was being said. She was the loyal kind and she respected too much her captain to hide something from him but this time... she didn’t want him to be disappointed when she’d told him women in town were planning on flirting with him only by interest. She didn’t want to hurt him so she kept the conversation for herself.
Later on, after Nifa and Nanaba went home by cart, Petra stayed a little longer outside. Her joyful mood from the little party totally wiped out and she felt a disagreeable twinge in her chest.
“Who are these women?” she whispered loudly. Why did she felt that way? After all, Captain Levi is not the type to flirt with unknown people. Then why?
“Petra?” Someone caught her off guard. It was Captain Levi, he was sitting in a cart waiting for her. She didn’t even notice him.
“What are you waiting for? Get in.” he said.
She raised her hand so he can help her getting in. She sat calmly but a million of questions were turning round in her mind. She hesitated to ask him a question, the question, actually Captain Levi seemed preoccupied by something.
“Captain, may I speak?”
He turned his face to look at her.
”You don’t have to be so formal with me, you’re not on duty, aren’t you?”
“Right.. so, uhm, I thought you had some urgent matter outside the town? So...”
”Yes that’s right. Actually... something unpleasant happened...” he mumbled some insults.
“Really? Do you want to talk about it?”
His eyes crossed hers with a glimpse.
”Not really, don’t worry. Not a big deal.”
She knew Captain Levi is a man of few words, but she couldn’t stop worrying when he spoke so little, in general when it was the case it meant that something annoyed him a lot.
“Is it Eren again?” she asked with a little smile.
“Fortunately not this time. Eld and Oluo take care of him right now.”
“I don’t think Oluo’s gonna make it...” she whispered by clenching her fist.
”What?” he asked.
“Oh nothing.. and what about Gunther? I didn’t heard much about him these times...”
“Don’t worry he’s going to be fine, I sent him back home. His injuries are not so bad.”
”Great...”
They went quiet for a while, Petra didn’t dare asking him again what was the matter and Levi was too preoccupied by her reaction if she knew what happened. But he wanted to know.
“Petra, what would you said if some lad asked your hand?”
”Uh? What do mean?”
”You know, even if, you.. you didn’t have feelings for them, would you still marry someone?”
Petra felt herself blushing because she could never imagine talking about love with her Captain.
“To be honest, feelings are important to me... I couldn’t imagine marrying someone without feeling something... for him.”
Her eyes lifted up to Levi’s and he seemed to be chewing the thing over.
”The thing is, marriage’s not good in a world with titans, y’know.”
”I understand. So, can I- can I ask you who is the origin of these troubles?”
”Tch.. it’s embarrassing...”
He stayed silent but he finally answered.
”Look, you have to keep this for yourself. I swear if you don’t–”
”Captain, don’t worry!” she immediately said.
”Okay then. Well. When I arrived at Mitlas, two women came in front of me and they asked me some weird questions.”
”Like?” she asked but she knew who it was about. She felt a fire burning inside.
”Y’know, some marriage stuffs. If I would marry one of them... or some crap. Plus, they had annoying attitude.”
”And what did you do?”
”I left. Then they said I was rude, I don’t understand. That’s probably true..”
Petra began to laugh out loud, even her Captain was startled. She laughed because she found his reaction quite funny, how he felt uncomfortable with them. But most importantly, she thought her reaction, being jealous, was a bit childish of her since he couldn’t even notice any ounce of romanticism.
When the horseman stopped at Karanes, Levi helped Petra stepping out of the cart and accompanied her until her front door.
”Thank you Captain, it’s nice of you. You shouldn’t pick me up to Karanes every night you know... if it’s bothering you–”
”Don’t worry Petra. It’s not. Besides, I hope to cross path with someone actually... but he never seems to be home this late.”
”Who’s that?”
”Your father. Is he home?”
“Oh he’s never home at this hour, he’s probably helping some friends. He’s good at selling haha.”
”I see.”
Petra didn’t know what to add, she wanted to invite him in but she was afraid to bother him. He surely had more important things to do than wandering with her like that.
”Do you have some tea?” Levi suddenly asked, pointing her door with his finger.
”Uh... I think I do, do you want some?”
Now they were drinking some tea in the silence of the night. Levi had been admiring her house and complimenting its cleanliness.
Petra hold her teacup with her two hands to warm them up and she said
”You know... I’ve been thinking about what I would do after the 57th expedition. I know that it took a lot of preparations so we will have a lot of free time after that.”
Levi sipped a little more tea in her cup.
”What if... well... if we succeed this mission, do you think... we could move together?”
”How?”
”I mean, I heard you didn’t have a proper house for yourself... and sometimes when I stay in the headquarters late at night, I notice that you sleep in one of those rooms... it doesn’t seem comfy at all.”
”That’s right but I’m not complaining. I already knew even worse, you know.”
”I saved some money because I also work as a waitress in my dad’s friend bar when I have time, well maybe you don’t want to live with me or–”
”I could probably do that. I guess. But y’know how I don’t like to talk about these matters if I don’t know you’re safe. We don’t know what will happen in the future...”
”It’s about the expedition, isn’t it?”
”Yeah. You’re probably aware that you’ll be in the front lines with the rest of the squad, right?”
”I do. That’s my duty after all.”
”I didn’t tell the brat, he still think you have to watch him. If I tell him you’ve been assigned to protect him because he’ll be used as a bait, he’s gonna screw it all up. Tch.”
“That’s right, he’s a bit impulsive. He’s a child after all,” she smiles softly. Then Petra began to laugh again, Levi was wondering what was the matter with her today.
She just felt more confident as he accepted to move with her.
”Captain I think... I didn’t act well when I heard those women talking about you that way...”
”Those women? Have you met ‘em?”
”That was a pure coincidence but yes. I didn’t talk to them but I think... I was a bit jealous. The very idea of seeing them flirting with you... it’s not that I don’t want you to be happy with a wife, but I hope you’ll have someone nice. That truly cares.”
Levi stands and take the teacups to the sink.
”I know. Don’t worry about that, you can believe me when I say that as a child I learned to analyze people. I’m able to notice who cares about me.” His glare stays on her a moment.
”It’s late now, I have to go. Thanks for the tea.”
”Wait Captain... I- Promise me you are not going to take some risks during the expedition.. I’m afraid I’m not going to watch you back for long.”
“Stop talking shit, Petra. You are one of the best soldiers in the military, you’re going to do just fine. But, if anything happens... you’re aware I won’t be able to do anything this time?”
”I know, anyway my duty is to offer my heart to humanity and I didn’t enroll for pleasure. I have a dream too...”
”Don’t worry, even if it’s dangerous... this time more than ever, I will have an eye on you. I’ll be close.”
“Thank you. Well, have a good night, Captain.”
Before leaving, Captain Levi grabbed Petra’s hair softly and put a little and chaste kiss on her forehead. Petra felt herself blushing so much, that was so unusual of him. Maybe it was their last goodbye before the expedition she thought.
”You too.”

Okay so here we go; it's a tradition when my friends and I get together that we play spoons.
Now in my family, spoons is unspoken banned, because we get so loud, and violent about it (one time a chair broke, and then another we thought it was a good idea to replace the spoons with knives, neither ended well). ANYWAY we still play it with this friend group cause it's just so funny. Very competitive. Lots of shit talking. Much banter.
There's this one guy that always comes second place no matter what, and he always loses to either me or my sister. He can never beat us, we're too good. But He riles himself up about how hes gonna win and then loses anyway with the excuse of he let us because 'it's the gentlemanly thing to let you ladies win'.
Anyway, grab a group and have at it rach. Let em go berserk. Feels good.
NEMOOOOOOOOOOOO KNIVES?????? THIS SOUNDS SO FUN
I LOVED PLAYING SPOONS IN HIGH SCHOOL BUT I HAVENT PLAYED IN SO LONG
Tumblr media
"HANGE, NO!" Erwin's cry comes, his large frame chasing after Hange as they run into the kitchen, searching for 3 knives, even though the spoons were already on the table.
One full game had already been played, Levi had won of course. Erwin had just narrowly lost to him, and Hange... well they were trying to spice up the game a little.
You sat at the table, shuffling the cards while you and Levi watched Erwin chase Hange down. You lean over and mumble, "10 bucks that Hange manages to sneak one back to the table."
Levi rolls his eyes and grunts, "20. They'll manage to get at least two back without Erwin noticing."
You nod to Levi, signaling the deal was on. Hange ended up being dragged back to the table by a flushed and slightly grumpy Erwin, who tossed Hange into their chair before sitting down next to you himself.
"Now," he said, a large sigh leaving his lips, "Y/n, are the cards reset?"
You give him a nod, dealing out a few cards to each player while Erwin fixed the spoons in the middle of the table. Levi just sat there, sipping on his tea while Hange pouted and grabbed each card as it came their way.
The game went as follows, Hange had beaten Levi out for the last spoon in the first round, leaving you, Erwin, and Hange in the game. The second round ended up eliminating Hange, so it was down to you and Erwin.
The large blonde narrowed his eyes and declared, "I'm not going to lose to you too, Y/n! I'm winning this thing!"
Yeah, he ate his words fast. You slapped down your cards as fast as you could, lunging for the single spoon on the table. Once in your hand, you look up to see a shocked expression on Erwin's face.
With an aggravated yell, he slams his cards down on the table. He was only one away from getting a set of four, and you almost feel bad for winning, but you laugh at him anyway.
In the blink of an eye, the spoons are all gone off the table, 3 sharp knives pointing at you, Erwin, and Levi.
You all jump back rapidly and a squeal leaves your lips. You catch the end of Levi's gaze as he smirks and says, "Time to pay up, Y/n."

💕💘🌞⚡️💧💔❌ :/ i almost just sent em all tbh
💕 IN LOVE
Tumblr media
Levi in love is just--- such a puppy love kinda thing. Like when he’s ACTUALLY properly in love with someone, and it’s not just a fleeting crush or fling, he’s just so so in love with them. Everything they do is perfect and amazing they can do no wrong. He’ll jsut love to sit and watch them, because just looking at them going about their day makes him happy. He’ll want to be with them constantly. Just to be close to them. He can get super clingy tbh. He just thinks they’re so wonderful, and he’ll tell them that and how much he loves them a lot. He’s very happy when in love.
Tumblr media
Haha. Oh boi. A mess?? He’s not ready for love okay. He’s still got so much of himself to work out. It just throws a spanner into the works and makes things worse. He can’t even really recognize love when he feels it because pretty much all emotions are just bad for him tbh. Maybe later on when he’s more?? Idk in tune with his mentions?? He’ll be better. One way or another he’ll mother the person he loves, he wants to take care of them and look after them, and also to spoil them. Since he’s not really good at expressing himself through words he’ll do it through acts kinda thing.
Tumblr media
I honestly am not sure. Andrew has never been in love, far from it. He’s always been too alone and awkward to get close enough to someone. If he was in a relationship and in love, it might make him a little more bold. And I mean-- Andrew bold so that means he’d initiate some hand holding or something so i mEAN.
Tumblr media
Super caring, super attentive, very self-sacrificing. Like--- to a very bad extent. If he was ever in a toxic relationship it’d be very bad for him. He’d give up everything, like his whole education and dream of being a doctor if the person he loved really needed in. But--- yeah, generally just wants to be there for the person, and to help the in anyway he can.
Tumblr media
He’s never been in love and does NOT want to be thank you very much. I don’t think he’d be much different from his normal self tbh?? But he’d very new so idk. He’d be very devoted though once in love. Despite how he normally acts, he would never cheat or anything like that. Once he’s in actual love that is.
💘 LUSTING
Tumblr media
Ugh. Just--- I mean ?? Normal Levi tbh lmao. He’s his usual flirty self I suppose. But to a higher extent. And he’ll be VERY touchy. Sometimes it’ll be subtle touches, little brushes of his fingers on your skin, barely there and gone before you know it. Other times it;ll be obvious grabbing and touching ans groping. All in all he’s not very subtle and he makes his intentions very much known.
Tumblr media
I mean-- he pretty much just goes for it. He’s not shy about it yknow. He’ll jsut give it a crack, make his intentions known, see where it goes from there. He can be relatively charming when he wants to be. He wouldn’t start touching the person until it was kinda, like-- made obvious that they were dtf. But after that point he’d get right on with it.
Tumblr media
Impossible. He is a pure boy. He does not feel lust. I mean-- if/when he did which wouldn’t be often. He’d just be very confused with himself and feel weird?? He’d never act on it or show it. he’d just be like ?? tf is going on with u andrew chill
Tumblr media
He gets very flustered tbh. He turns to mush when t comes to things like this. Very much not the dominating type, even if he tried to be he’d be really flustered and unconvincing doing so. He wouldn’t make it obvious if he was lusting over someone, he’d more than likely wait for them to come to him. Very shy, but very sensual, he would want to touch them a lot.
Tumblr media
I mean--- it’s basically default Dante lmao. So yeah, his usual self. Very flirty and charming and whatnot. Also very confident. Depending on the person he could get pretty touchy too.
🌞 HAPPY
Tumblr media
Again, he’s not sublte. He’ll show how happy he is very obvious. He’ll be grinning and smiling and looking all bright. he doesn’t hide it at all and his body language gives it away if his words don’t already.
Tumblr media
I feel like it’s honestly a little bit rare to have a purely genuinely happy Luke?? Like he’s mostly pretty chill and content I guess?? But he’s not often at a level when he’s just ?? smiling-- not smirking, smiling and happy and just. A sight for sore eyes. When he’s happy he can’t really hide it, not that he wants to. He’ll smile and be cheerful and a little affectionate tbh.
Tumblr media
Also doesn’t exactly happen often. He’s very awkward with emotions and whatnot. So he’d jsut smile, it’d be shown through small little things. A small small, maybe acting a little, just slightly more confident kinda thing.
Tumblr media
Well I mean for one--- his freckles glow when he gets happy. And he’s literally just so bright and warm and all sunshine. He couldn’t hide it even if he wanted to. He’s got such a sweet warm and welcoming smile. And he’d want to spread the happiness he’s feeling.
Tumblr media
He’d be all smiles and laughs?? He’s generally happy most of the time, when he’s not with his dad that is. But yeah, his usual self, being a cocky shit, grinning acting dumb and mischievous and whatnot.
⚡️ ANGRY
Tumblr media
Slightly depending on what makes him angry, but typically once again, he doesn’t hide it. He’ll show he’s angry one way or another. If he’s like pissed -- he’ll either tell you off and rip you apart bc he can be mEAn when he wants. Or he’ll yell at you. Or he’ll just be all grumpy and sulky or something.
Tumblr media
Yikes. Luke doesn’t like getting angry, he really genuinely doesn’t. It’s not pleasant. It’s not fun. It doesn’t make him feel good. Plus, he knows if he properly loses his temper and lets the anger overwhelm him he can and will say things he’ll eventually regret, hurtful things. So when he starts getting angry he really tries his best to suppress it and hold it in. Even as it starts to burst out, his anger is a bit like a roller coaster. He’ll be screaming and mad and stuff, then reign himself in and try to be rational and calm down, only to be mad mad again seconds later and go off again.
Tumblr media
Andrew almost never gets angry. Partly jsut because he can almost always find a way to blame himself for whatever the thing is. But when he does it’s usually more of a scolding rather than him getting angry. He wouldn’t get angry over someone he didn’t care about. And he’d never get properly angry at someone he did. So it’s more like a “pls stop doing that’/acting that way its bad for (inserts reasons)”
Tumblr media
He can get pretty angry when it’s it’s called for. He won’t take it laying down. And will bite back if he needs. But that’s usually in extreme cases. Generally, he can get pissy or grumpy but it doesn’t last long and he backs down very easily. He doesn’t have much of a spine most of the time when he gets angry.
Tumblr media
I feel like he has different levels of anger?? Like he could just get a bit pissy or annoyed from time to time. And he’d let you know. He’s not gonna hold it back and would straight up tell you and/or hit you. But then there’s also losing his shit angry where he’d beat the living hell out of you so :/
💧 SAD
Tumblr media
Levi?? Sad?? Haha that doesn’t exist :)))) He just bottles it all up. Pretends he’s fine. He literally refuses to acknowledge his sadness. He just. Doesn’t. He doesn’t fuck with it. He refuses.
Tumblr media
Another boy who doesn’t let himself feel sad. He’s got that whole ?? toxic masculinity kinda thing where he thinks guys can’t be sad and god fORBID cry. His whole life anytime he was sad or anything he was just told to basically man up or suck it up kinda thing?? That’s something that really got to him, and even with time and growth it probably wont go away much. Showing emotions for him, like sadness at least, makes him feel super vulnerable. He doesn’t like it. It makes him feel weak and pathetic and unmanly. So he doesn’t he bottles that shit up.
Tumblr media
He doesn’t really get sad often either. He’s a bit of an emotionless boi. But when he does most of the time he’ll keep it to himself. Maybe have a cry to himself or smth. He might also cry if he was disappointed in someone or himself. But yeah, he’s not a very emotional person so.
Tumblr media
He’s pretty open with his emotions so he’d not afraid to cry or show that he’s sad. The only thing that would make him hide it is not wanting to be a burden to someone. But even then-- he’s not good at hiding any of his emotions really. So if he was sad you’d be able to tell.
Tumblr media
Nooooo thanks. Sadness? Dante doesn’t know her :/ It’s a bit like the Luke thing. He wasn’t allowed to be sad. He wasn’t allowed to be weak. Nothing like that. He removes himself from any sadness, completely dissociates from it. You’ll likely never catch him being sad, let alone ever crying or anything.
💔 HEARTBOKEN
Tumblr media
---Levi has never had his heart broken.
Tumblr media
Luke also hasn’t had his heart broken. But I imagine he’d bury the feeling deep down and carry on with life like he was fine bc ?? emotions?? nah.
Tumblr media
Never liked anyone never had his heart broken. But if he did he’d be crushed by it I think. If something with Andrew ever got to the point of him liking someone enough to have his heart broken then he’d be super crushed when it happened. It’s devastate him.
Tumblr media
He’d be very much devastated. But-- he’d try his best to pick himself up and move on. It’d take him a while though, and he’d be sad for a while. But he’d try to push through it. He wouldn’t want people worrying about him. But he’d never be able to see the person again, because even like--- years later seeing them would make him upset.
Tumblr media
He’s never had his heart broken and he doesn’t plan to ever fall in love so :/ But if he did ever let someone in enough to have his heart broken. yIKES. I think it would break him?? Completely?? It’d only take one time to fuck him up for good tbh. And depending on how it happened he’d either just be crushed and really sad/broken, or he’d be sad/broken and maliciously destroy your entire life.
❌ JEALOUS
Tumblr media
Oh boi. He’s the type to just get super grumpy. But also not act like he’s grumpy. He’ll just go up to the person and touch them, depending on the situation he’ll get super handsy. He would not be above fucking in front of someone just to prove who the person was with. He can be super petty and would likely want to punish the person he was dating/liked as well as the other one who made him jealous.
Tumblr media
BIG YIKES. Luke goes beyond jealousy and gets straight to possessive. A big part of it is his whole ?? being super out of touch with his emotions. He just doesn’t know how to process the feelings of jealousy. He can’t deal with it. It makes him so frustrated. He’s also a bit of a controlling person in general so when he gets jealous and he can’t just ?? control the person and make them stop it frustrates him more. He really doesn’t know how to healthily deal with it. So it just makes him angry and desperate and irrational. Feeling jealous really hurts Luke, it makes him feel super insecure, which of course he doesn’t like and it makes him more angry. So all in all it ends with him being possessive and getting mad. He’ll lash out and make ridiculous demands, the type to test the person to see if they’ll pick him over whoever or whatever the thing making him jealous is. Not good. Unhealthy. Bye.
Tumblr media
One of those blaming himself type moments. He’d put himself down, and think about how much better that person is with the person he likes. In an extreme case he would possibly even push the two of them together. But mostly he’d just mope to himself and distance himself and feel all sad.
Tumblr media
He doesn’t really get jealous tbh. Unless he’s given a real reason to be. Like if his s.o was out there purposefully trying to make him jealous then sure, he would be. But he’d just be upset with their behavior and he’d call them out on it. But other than that not so much, he might get a little insecure from time to time, but he’d just need a little reassurance to feel better.
Tumblr media
It very much depends for Dante. If he just liked someone, had a crush but they weren’t together he’d get jealous. He’d be nowhere near Luke’s level but he’d be on the possessive side. He’d want to keep them away from whoever was making him feel jealous. He probably wouldn’t get so angry like Luke though. In most cased. But--- if he was in a relationship with the person. Nope. No jealousy. He’d be pretty chill. And he’d trust the person. Just don’t break that trust. He might still feel jealous from time to time but he’d hold it back and calm himself by telling himself to trust them.
