“I know you had a bad day, so I made you cookies” with levi colwill

Whenever anything bad happens, no matter how big or small it is, Levi is the first person to hear it from you. You would send him voice messages or a simple texts. This day it just seemed to be one thing after another, you text him that you can’t wait to get home and just lay in bed. Levi had a day off, so after the second message, he went to the store and got all the ingredients. He got home and started to read the online recipe, he was so happy when they came out of the oven, he ate one and had to pat himself on the back. When you finally came home, he pulls you into the kitchen. ‘I know you had a bad day, I’ve made you cookies’ he beams. He watches as you take the first bite, you humming in delight. ‘Thank you so much’ you hug him and kiss him, loving that the little pick me up from Levi as he listens to your day.

Levi is leaned against the door,

He’s had time to pose like that, Taylor texting from the raincloud he was under that he was nearly there.

He doesn’t need the time, it’s effortless. Taylor is holding a bag and holding his phone and juggling Southampton and England, and if he texts too often.

He keeps a tally. Ant about non football sport, and tv, and food. And Levi about music, and clothes, and non English football. He’s careful to split his time. To not overwhelm either of them.

He’s been a captain, he’s been their captain, still scrambles to obey. Dropping his bag and dumping his phone and trying to shed disappointment and the whistling sound of balls going into the net.

From the front door of Levi’s flat to where he’s leaned against the bedroom door. It’s where they end up when Taylor comes over. Might as well go straight to it, get into bed, get this show on the road.

His hoodie is wet, Levi holds him close anyway. White t-shirt, dark jeans. He’s not dressed up, with bare feet, no watch.

“Let’s get you out of this?” A soft quick kiss on his neck and he can feel drops of water sliding behind his ears. Levi is warm and dry and smells like Anthony’s cologne.

Taylor would curl into him, but this close he can just see the tiny mark Anthony has left on him. A favourite place. Against the hinge of his jaw, close to his ear. Just a little nibble, Anthony pulls the skin into his mouth, a little sigh and Levi’s body relaxes.

And after, Levi scolding Anthony, over a little bruise you can barely see on his skin, you have to be up close, have to know where to look. In a place you can’t explain away.

“I’m careful with you.” Levi sitting over Anthony’s hips, pale skin under dark. Play holding him down. his hands loosely over Anthony’s wrists, held up by his head.

“You’re the colour of paper and do I leave a mark?”

Taylor can see Anthony grinning up at Levi, Taylor off to the side, lying on the bed. Anthony shakes one hand free to run his fingers over it, a little possessive bloom. If you looked close, under a microscope, you would see the impression of his lips. Of his teeth.

No blood, barely bruising. A favourite place that Anthony settles into on Levi, fitting his fingers and mouth into the joins of his body, the thin places, the skin over joints. Precise with with how hard he touches.
