In light of my fave Bundesliga YT Channel dropping their Bundesliga prognosis I want bayernblr to do a little Bundesliga prognosis (bayern's version). So if you like answer the following questions:
1. Top 5 Bundesliga Teams at the end of the season?
2. How far will Bayern get in the DFB Pokal?
3. How far will Bayern get in the Champions League?
4. Who will be Bayerns top goal scorer?
5. Biggest surprise? (could be anything)
6. Biggest disappointment? (could be anything)
HAPPY BUNDESLIGA AUFTAKT! ❤
(also pls send this to other blogs (re bayern or other teams) as well if you like as I'm sure I missed a lot of people)
omg this sounds fun let’s do it!
1.) so ofc Bayern is gonna be 1st. like, that’s just how it is. 2nd is maybe RB Leipzig, bc i don’t like them but they continue to show up just to irritate me. then Dortmund will struggle valiantly but ultimately fail bc they’re basically a new team rn so i’m thinking 3rd. just for funsies i want to put Köln on 4th bc it’s what hennes the goat deserves. and thennnn finally we’ve got Leverkusen 5th after fighting (and failing) to get the last UCL spot (okay nobody @ me i am shit at strategy n prediction tbh i am going with my gut)
2. 3rd round (round of 16 i believe?). they got kicked out of the 2nd round twice in a row now so i feel like it’s time to move up one spot before ultimately losing against a team that has Zero Business beating them
3. finals, upon which they’re gonna face Man City in some dramatic rematch of the recent friendly. they will almost lose, but then pep’s UCL curse will kick in and someone super unlikely will score the winning goal. maybe berni or nagelsmann idk. anyway the point is we’re gonna win ofc bc we are spiting everyone who said we’ll fail without lewy
4. manuel neuer. jk unless. no okay but fr i say it’s gonna be close between serge and sadio but in the end serge will get it
5. Gladbach losing to Bayern for once lmao. also Frankfurt will be a title challenger for a few weeks while riding the Europa League high until eventually they drop off to mid table
6. ………..the entirety of Borussia Dortmund maybe? kidding but also not kidding <3

So, what with Denmark winning, that's the Euros dealt with. Time to focus on Bundesliga again. What are your predictions?
Who will win? Champions League? International seatings? Who will get relegated? Who will come up from 2. Liga? Will Schalke and Werder make a direct return? HSV? Düsseldorf? Nürnberg? Paderborn? Also the draw for the DFB-Pokal is today! Yayy!
OH MAN those are some big questions
it'll be interesting to see cause there were so many coaching changes in the bundesliga last season, especially for the top half of the table (bayern, leizpig, dortmund, wolfsburg, frankfurt, leverkusen, and gladbach all having changed coaches) so it'll be interesting to see how they do/a little more difficult to predict (esp for frankfurt, since there was a lot of change among other staff and players too)
werder i feel could do a direct bounce back, but tbh schalke doesn't feel like they have it in them
obvi teams like bayern and dortmund are expected to do well. i also think union could be great again, if they're not too overwhelmed by the additional burden of european football. gladbach i really hope does better
and leipzig to get relegated. i know this is unlikely but a girl can (and will) dream.

I personally want to see him in Monaco. Under Kovac with Volland as the striker that he often teamed up in building counter-attacking play during their time in Leverkusen (one example is the home win 6-1 against Frankfurt). Kovac's formation choice for Monaco's midfielders are young and not as experienced (in terms of playing time and international experience) as Julian He won't get pressure from the mainstream media, and the league itself is 'calmer' than BL.
Monaco is an interesting choice 🤔 But I cant say much about League 1 tbh.

My summary of today’s game 🙃
- Julian hugging every Leverkusen player (his hug with kevin was adorable)
- Bender really played as a winger in the first half like wtf (bailey?!)
- Wendell played like shit in the second half
- Kai was also kinda lost 😶
- Baumi and charly did everything they could
- Leverkusen need to practice their corner because they are shit af
- Panos getting wet by one of the sprinklers
- Leverkusen needs someone who creates chances bc you can’t have 60% ball possession and literally do nothing with it
- still Leverkusen didn’t deserve to concede 4 goals and the score didn’t really represent the game 💔💔💔💔
- the atmosphere was crazy (shoutout @bvbfans)
- but bvb fans chill the fuck out with your heja bvb, bc stand jetzt you didn’t win the league
- Julian taste in cars is freaking amazing (das auto is anders geil)
- Roman Bürki is a Schnittchen
- and last thing: we all know that Julian left the club and we all wanted him to stay but he didn’t deserve to be booed and being insulted by the lev fans after 5 and a half years, without his help last season, Leverkusen wouldn’t play in the champions leagues right now. Tbh it was pretty ungrateful, He didn’t deserve this 💔 he wasn’t even cheering with his teammates when they scored out of respect!

Would you prefer Julian playing in Dortmund or abroad, maybe in England, Spain ..?
Well I’d prefer him staying with Leverkusen lol, but I know the chances are slim and he wants to take a step ahead and to join a bigger (and more consistent) club. He’s been with Leverkusen for five years and I can understand that he wants a new challenge. I know that as a player he really wants to win a league trophy.
Tbh, I think he will definitely stay in the Bundesliga, whether it’s with Dortmund or any other club. Next year is Euro and it’s very important for him to get the playing time as much as possible and a guaranteed starting XI if he wants to keep his spot in the Germany NT. If he plays abroad, I’m not sure he would get that much playing time.
The Lev team under Bosz’s system is basically build around him and Kai in the midfield. He’s definitely a key player now in Leverkusen and pretty sure to always be in the starting XI. With Demirbay coming, I can see that Lev would be a scary team next season and I hope Julian will stay for at least one more season to see how Bosz’s system works.

You dont like bayern ?
Good morning anon,
Nope, I really don’t like Bayern and tbh i think it’s part of german culture by now to just dislike them. I have my reasons though and I will explain them to you under the cut if you’re interested :)
What I really want to add though is that I don’t mind most people that are bayern fans (I love my mutuals and some of them are almost solely Bayern fans) I respect every choice of club that you follow if you are civil about it (NO HATE POSTS OR UGLY NICKNAMES) god knows there are also people who hate the clubs that i support sjkghfjdg and that’s totally fine!
Okay first of all every person has their clubs they absolutely can’t stand, mostly because they are your team’s rivals ( for me it’s Mönchengladbach, Leverkusen, Düsseldorf and Arsenal –> As a Köln Fan and a Spurs fan it’s just never going to happen sorry)
Bayern though is a totally different story. Bayern to Germany is like the US to Europe. If you are Fan of any other Bundesliga team chances are very high that you dislike Bayern. I guess it’s a natural reaction to the last years of Bayern winning everything and the way the club just acts in general.
For me it’s mostly the entitlement and arrogance of the club and some of their fans.
I don’t want to be rude but as someone who had to watch their team play the worst season in HISTORY last year ending with them getting relegated, having to see Bayern fans complain how much they are suffering because of their team irks me a bit. ( i mean we all like to exaggerate a bit but still… in terms of football experiences.. losing one game is not suffering ( try 14 in a row)
There’s also Hoeneß and he’s reason enough to not like Bayern tbh.
Tax Fraud CHECK
Opening his mouth when he shouldn’t and acting like an asshole? CHECK
The fact that Bayern thinks they have nothing to do with the fact that the Bundesliga is not competetive anymore is reason number 3 i don’t like them.
Because that is simply not true. They said  the other clubs need to step up their game. ( look okay everyone is trying but what is the point when you buy all the good player afterwards anyway?)
And before anyone comes into my inbox to says: But dortmund is doing it too , every club buys players from other teams, it’s how it works)
It’s not the same, because Bayern has a monopoly. There’s no equilibrium of transfers. It’s not one player arrives and one player goes to another club in the bundesliga. No it’s like they attract players like light attracts moths. It’s the fact that they ALL go to bayern and therefore strenghtening the strongest team further while weakening the opponents.
(Süle, Rudy, Hummels, Goretzka, etc… Kovac…..)
Just to make it clear, I don’t blame anyone for it. It’s only logical that players would want to go to bayern. You get money and you play champions league and have a guarantee for trophies and titles. It’s just the way it is. It’s a vicious cycle.
It’s just the fact that they have the audacity to say “LOL okay we have nothing to do with it , it’s everyone elses fault.”
Reason number 4 ( 5? i lost count kjhsfdj)
Not being aware of the fact that they do have a bayern bonus sometimes (not always but sometimes) during games and then act like they were betrayed when the ref acts not in their favor during championsleague games ( *cough* Real Madrid *cough*) Talk about hypocrisy.
Then there’s the fact that I just really don’t like their players ekfjdkj ( maybe 2 or 3 but the rest .. nahhh)
The fact that Bayern is the only thing german football media likes to talk about. Other clubs apparently don’t exist and that is really annoying. ( this is also a shout out to our dear Nationalteam :’))
Last but not least the overall feeling that they don’t take the Bundesliga seriously at all. The overall feeling that the club thinks they are too good for the league ( it might be true but acting like it makes you arrogant).
So that’s it and I’m sorry for the rant skjdghjfhg and it’s in no way an attack to Bayern supporters in general. Everyone has their reasons to love or hate a team and you are valid :*
It’s just the way it is but i do want to keep this blog mostly hate free so please don’t come and attack me in my inbox. It’s just my opinion and i don’t mind seein them on my dash or whatever.
Lots of Love *heart emoji*

ok i was tagged by the lovely @oldtrafford in this where you answer 11 questions and then tag 11 people to answer 11 questions of your own so here we go (i can’t write a reasonable amount ever for anything i ramble too much, so it’s under a break, sorry mobile friends)
1. What is it about your favourite player that makes them your favourite?
i could literally write a novel about all the reasons why i love philipp lahm and why he’s been my favorite for soooo long (and will as soon as i get enough emotional gumption up to actually write the tribute he deserves), but everything from the brilliance on pitch and ability to read games and teammates (and opponents) near flawlessly, to his signature tackle dispossessing opponents without him even breaking a sweat and just standing up and playing on as if nothing happened, to the way his voice is exactly the same accent that my family speaks so it feels so much like home, to the way his heart beats so deeply and strongly for bayern above all else and how much he’s willing to sacrifice for us -- i just love him so much?
2. Which was your favourite footballing season and why?
i feel like this goes largely without saying, but the clear answer is 2012/13, not just for the trophies, but for the TEAM that was there and how good and happy and mia-san-mia-y and just bayern it was after the worst of the worst the year before...
3. What’s the best football stadium (that isn’t your team’s)?
i think my favorite non-bayern stadium i’ve been in was the estadio do dragao in porto so i’ll go with that
4. What’s a piece of writing (be it a book, a quote, a poem etc.) that you love?
two quotes -- the first from goethe: “Auch aus Steinen, die einem in den Weg gelegt werden, kann man Schönes bauen” which translates roughly to “you can build beautiful things out of stones that are laid in your path”, and the second one which is an old english proverb:: “...and those who were seen dancing were thought to be mad by those who could not hear the music“
5. What’s one movie you could watch again and again and never be tired of?
i hate that this is my answer but the 2004 phantom of the opera... also the lion king
6. What/where would your ideal holiday be?
some place where i could have as many of my closest friends around as possible romping around in the mountains
7. If you could only bring three things with you to a deserted island, what would it be?
a friend!!  some way to talk to all my other friends like a magical cell phone than never runs out of battery or loses service or a passenger pigeon that can fly faster than the speed of light and never dies or gets tired or something.  and my wilderness first response kit (a really beefed-up first-aid kit that includes stuff to treat just about any wilderness-caused injury plus basic wilderness necessities like space blankets and a pocket knife and stuff) to be practical when it comes to survival until we get rescued :D
8. If you could pick up any skill (be it writing, drawing, learning a language, etc.) immediately, what would it be?
can i just use this to up my oboe playing/reed-making even though i already technically “have” those skills?
9. What’s your favourite goal of all time?
fips’s opener goal in the 2006 world cup in the allianz against costa rica
10. Do you own any jerseys? What are they? Do they have names? What’s one jersey you want to own?
oh dear i own MANY jerseys...  almost all of them names, but some don’t.  bayern first: from when i was a kid i have a 92/93 zickler away kit (it’s the ugliest thing we’ve EVER worn except for maybe the old-gold mess in 2005), a 99/00 home lizarazu kit when he was still number 3... and then there’s an 08/09 poldi home kit? i have home kits starting from 2013/14 all with fips, plus unnamed 13/14 away, schweinsteiger 14/15 champions league (graduation present don’t ask), leonie maier 15/16 away, and holger champions league from this year *cries*...  and from the national team i have thomas from 2014, celia sasic from 2015, and mario gomez from last year
i would literally sell my soul for either a philipp lahm national team kit (2006 most preferred, but 2010 are my fave kits we’ve ever had so i’d take that tbh) or a mario gomez bayern jersey because OF COURSE the 4 seasons he played with us just happened to be the four seasons i was putting myself through college and had NO money for jerseys and was estranged enough from my family to not get birthday presents lmao good timing there...
11. What’s the funniest football chant you’ve ever heard?
oh goodness picking just one is SOOO hard, but maybe “his teeth are offside” referring to suarez or maybe the one which is like “Allee, Allee, Allee, Allee, Allee, eine Straße, mit vielen Bäume, ja das ist eine Allee” (it’s making fun of using the french Allez in german fanchants saying Allez is a street with lots of trees aka an alley)...  there’s also the one we have that i love in dialect which is essentially like “i’m toppling out of a bar early in the morning, all i need is a bayern win and a good drunken rout” (it’s better in bairisch lmao) and the one kindly brought to you all by vfb stuttgart and the time jens lehmann missed 5 minutes of a match to pee “pinkelpause, pinkelpause, hey! hey!”
BONUS 12. If you had to say something nice about your bitterest rivals, what would you say?
y’all don’t deserve the shit that ismaik’s pulling on you (and i do mean that with my whole heart no matter how much i hate them)
ok so i tag @mulleister, @thomasmxller, @simplyirenic, @rosecityriveters, @elany, @lordbaeder, @ancelotitty, @mertes4cker, @kingsleycomanfussballgott, @kangarooneys, and @khalehla-blah (as usual no pressure for anything if you don’t want) and here are my questions:
1.  Who was the first player who caught your eye with football (whether or not you still like them)? 2.  How did you get into football?  Into your favorite teams? 3.  If you could undo any transfer that’s ever happened, which would you undo and why? 4.  What’s your favorite shameless dance party song? 5.  What language that you’re not already fluent in do you most want to learn? 6.  What's the one thing you always take with you when you start a new life chapter (a book, an old toy, a picture, etc.)? 7.  Do you have pets?  What kinds? 8.  What retirement hurts you The Most? 9.  What is your favorite match ever played? 10. What’s your most ridiculous piece of football fan-paraphenalia (that weird hat your mom got you, the free wrist warmers you picked up outside a stadium, the bayer leverkusen condoms your friend gave you as a joke, etc) 11. What season/tournament would you go back in time to experience now if you could see any one you wanted? BONUS 12 (because it’s a good question but i didn’t want to repeat):  What about your favorite player makes them your favorite?
