Tbh I feel like not enough people recognize that a lot of gay activism really is throwing big gay parties for various reason. I appreciate the sentiment of “pride was a riot” but a lot of pride planning really is just straight up planning parties
#lettuce and the adventures of being outreach vp#i think we’re gonna throw a freshman mixer before school so the freshmen are aware we exist#and they have incentive to at least learn how to connect with us so they have that resource for later when it’s not not hey come to a party
