He was more than damned sure that there were creatures skittering around the mountains. He’d picked up these things—totems, if he remembered correctly?—looked at them and the vision of these greyish-white creatures appeared in his mind. They had seemed cannibalistic, dangerous...

And he was pretty sure that he wanted to heed the warning of said totems.

Goodness. What was he getting himself into? Why bother returning to the mountain again? Right—he wanted to figure out what could have led to those two sisters dying. Despite the nightmares that haunted him for the past year of their fall, part of him was dying to know...

Dying to know if he could find out something about how they ended up like that. Perhaps it was strange to want to know, but he felt like he had to know the truth.

Hopefully he’d find the truth.
