I had a conversation with Hotch a couple days ago, and he gave the green light for you to have an interview to join the BAU. Before you protest, I've thought this through many times. Yes, it's not appropriate to have a romantic relationship with another agent on the team, but you're worth it. You're always worth it.

We've known each other for a while, Aimee, and if you're up to it, I'd like to have another date again when you return to Quantico. Dear Friend,

I had nightmares about that night for a long time. Sometimes I still do. You’d be on my couch, right in the middle, and you’d start to slip through the gap in the cushions, like old change. I kept telling you to pick yourself up, but you’d just shrug and say there was nothing you could do. I felt this anger in the dream, like I was really tired of you doing the same thing. I’m not angry at you now. Or, maybe I am. I was angry a lot when you were still here- angry when you didn’t call back for days, or when you skipped school, or when you dragged me into things I never wanted to be a part of. I guess that's the sort of thing I was supposed to tell you. Or, maybe you should’ve gathered that. You can’t know someone just from what they tell you, Friend. It’s what you notice about them that counts.

I feel lonely without you, which is dumb. You’re one person. Maybe lonely isn’t the right word for it, the ache I get in my chest when I think about you. It feels almost like grief. Can you grieve someone who’s still alive?
