Desmond screams in his sleep. He has nightmares so terrible that he screams.

Now, we can say he is screaming while running from Templars. Or maybe he is locked in a dream where he is wracked with guilt from Ezio about not being able to save his family. But every night, Lucy heart breaks a little more when she hears him sobbing for Vidic to leave him alone, or when she hears him repeatedly apologizing to his parents for abandoning them

Anyway, in the beginning, when Vidic was the center piece for all his nightmares, he would scream and cry. But after they slowly became corrupted with memories of his ancestors, he stopped screaming and would instead become errily quiet, as if he was scared to make any noise
