Friday Night Bites // Ben & Daisy

Leading up to Friday night, Daisy bounced excitedly for this dinner with Ben.  It was strange... especially considering the way they sort of knew each other at this point.  First meetings usually don’t take place in sex shops, at least not for Daisy.  After that, she hadn’t expected to hear from the Dominant again but as luck would have it, somehow, he managed to text her and now they had dinner plans.  No matter what, she was at least excited to get to know him a little better.

Finishing up work on Friday, Daisy quickly rushed home and cleaned up.  She scouted her closet for a nice outfit, occasionally asking Elle for her opinions before settling on an ensemble that was pretty and sort of fancy.  As she finished up curling her hair and doing her make-up, her phone pinged.  Heart racing, she looked down and a large grin spread across her face when she saw that Ben had arrived.  One last check in the mirror.  Grabbing her purse, Daisy dashed out of the door and easily spotted the Dominant.

“Hi!  Thanks for picking me up.  How was your day, sir?”

Every Dominant had needs and Georgette was no exception. While ordinarily she would frequent a high class institution like the Castlebrac. However it was owned by the House of Maine and that was not secure enough for her preference. Fortunately. Xavier’s service seemed like a good option, even though there were also ties to Maine, more so that she would like. So, a conversation was needed. She set down her tea cup as the door opened. She rose to her feet and nodded, “Good afternoon, M. Le Tallec. Thank you for coming today.”

Julie had stayed late at the library, doing an extra credit assignment for her class after spending the entire morning shadowing at the hospital. She felt a bit strung out and vaguely wondered if she was starting to crack, if it was starting to show. Maybe she just needed a night off, a couple hours. And that’s why she’d allowed herself to head to the bar that night, figuring maybe a drink or two would help. The place was crowded, though she’d managed to snag a stool, and she was a couple sips into her drink when she was knocked into from behind by a group of rowdy men, causing her to slosh her drink over herself and the man sitting beside her. “Oh! I-I’m sorry! I’m so sorry.”

“Just a coke, please,” Luke said to the bartender as he slid into first available seat. He set his pack of cigarettes on the bar top and lit one, waiting for his drink. Sat beside him was an older dom who seemed to be enjoying a glass of whiskey. The thought of drinking that again made him shudder. His eyes slid from the drink to the dom’s face and he felt his cheeks flush when he realized the dominant was looking back at him.

What's been happening in our city lately, JML? We're craving some good tea.

So am I, darling. The tea is usually hot and plentiful around these parts but lately...I don’t know. People are either being far more discreet or well, they are behaving. Since I doubt they are behaving, I’d say people are keeping their dirt well hid.

Regardless, I have snooped a bit and found a few things that may or may not be happening. I leave it to you fine citizens to decide.

First of all our Easter celebrations were fine as always. The kissing booth was, of course, a hot spot of activity.  From my view, there were a couple of people that participated in more than a peck on the lips. Did anyone else see @emeline-of-anjou sneak away from her duties at the booth with everyone’s favorite youtuber @jian-riou?  And did you notice that @nathan-le-pennec looked more than a little flustered after that hot liplock with @felix-letallec. 

Speaking of the Le Pennec clan, it was lovely to see @asa-le-pennec in something that wasn’t flannel. Who knew the man was a furry? 

Now...aside from Easter there are some other lively tidbits floating around about our three candidates for the throne. I’ll let you decide the veracity of these bits: 

It is rumored that his grace,  @cyrusxdukeofmaine has a secret collection.  But no one seems to know what it is. My bet is dildos. If anyone susses it out, be sure to whisper it in my ear.

The fierce Katarin LeMeur @duchess-katarin-lemeur has been rumored to have a serious addiction to designer granola. Obscene amounts of money seem to be going towards feeding this odd obsession. Really, darling? It couldn’t be a designer drug?

The always graceful Amalie Dubois @theduchessofanjou has been spotted tooling around at night on a tricked out motorcycle? To be honest, I hope this one is true. Who doesn’t want to see her grace in leather?

and our arbiter? oh my, his grace has been spotted with one of the younger members from the House of Nantes. My sources says that he even took the young man back to his estate after the holiday. @stargazingalexei @dukeofvaneti

Biography:

Felix was rather wild from a very young age. Full of energy and always climbing trees or getting into things he probably shouldn’t be. The household he grew up in meant he never experienced much hardship, a fact that both encouraged his somewhat reckless behavior but also afforded him the opportunity to explore the world without reservation.

Never particularly inclined to school or anything academically related, it was easy for Felix to make the decision to not pursue higher education and instead start a career with the Breton military. Though he’d never had the best grades, his parent’s money and perfect scores on all the physical tests allowed for him to enroll in an academy and begin a career as an officer. During this time, Felix discovered a certain passion for hand to hand combat and the various fighting styles of different nations around the world. After completing a year at the Breton academy, Felix found he was craving more involvement and was growing tired of remaining mostly idle. He didn’t have it in him to just be the good soldier, despite all of the training he was receiving.

Taking on a leadership role at a relatively young age, Felix quickly came tasked with the training of many others. Focusing on teaching them the skills they might need to survive if they got caught in a situation where they were forced face to face with one of their enemies. Only, as the years continued to drag on, Felix found himself growing tired of the politics he was forced to handle. He was training people to be machines designed to kill, when all the basis of the forms of martial arts he studied weren’t about being a weapon, they were about protecting yourself.

Retiring from his position from the military, Felix returned to Breton and realized just how much of his life he had put on hold. He was of a certain age, without a claim and without children. Socially, Felix felt out of his element and unsuited for a life that wasn’t fully focused on his craft. After years of living a disciplined life, adjusting back to regular life was much harder than originally expected.

Turning all his attention to a more positive outlet, Felix decided to focus on something that had once brought him joy. Studying as many martial arts styles as he could manage, collecting various knives and swords from around the world, and eventually beginning to teach classes with the hope that some of his knowledge would help others and reach back to the point of why he loved it in the first way. Still struggling to adjust and live a civilian life, he could at least focus his energy on his craft.
