Back years ago, when Mark was on a couple talk shows, the hosts clearly had no idea what he did and just assumed he was "an expert video game guy", and Mark looked so pissed off at their judgmental and sometimes sexist comments

And recently, when Mark's In Space With Markiplier was nominated for the Emmys, Mark said how it was a miserable time cause nobody knew who he was and nobody cared to know what he did

I am. So. Fucking. Excited. For Iron Lung to make it in theaters and sweep the box office and the film industry has to start respecting indie filmmakers that stemmed from internet fame

I love the dichotomy of when youtubers break out into mainstream.

You have either "a quirky little sitcom about school teachers at an elementary school!" or "you are fodder for a government who doesn't care about you, who are so desperate for survival after the end of an apocalypse that they will bury you along with an ocean of human blood on the moon"

Me: an independent movie like this will take time, and Mark continuously said things are looking up and we'll get a release date soon, it's just about being patient

A wonderful dream that we saw the trailer for Iron Lung thanks to Disney plus, as it's apparently showcasing it (he got Lio, Matpat, and Bill Murray for his movie?)

I've been daydreaming about an iron lung sequel/tv show for nearly a month, so I am deep in brainrot. Granted, its the most obscure kind of brainrot there is, but I'm doing it

I am soooooo excited for the iron lung movie. But I'd say don't get your hopes up for a release anytime soon, even if a trailer comes out in the upcoming days.

Mark most likely got the movie done in time for Mother's Day in its quickest form, so there might be some extra touch ups (movies go through lots of cuts in the editing room)

I still remember Mark talking about writing a movie AND a TV pilot. Since Mark's movie ended up being Iron Lung... wonder if a TV spinoff might be in the works...
