I still think that The Traveling BJ Bros Show is a better title, but "Are You Sure?!" will do the job as well.

This is so exciting. I forgot to set up an alarm and I woke up at 6:30 and I checked my phone and there it was. I expected coverage in the next 24h after the teaser on twitter, but that was fast.

Three locations and eight episodes full of activities and most likely daring each other to do stuff, hence the "are you sure?!" part. I think we're gonna laugh a lot.

I still find it funny how Kukumimi pulled it off. They wanted a holiday, but to make it work before enlistment, they made a show out of it.

Look at them 😭 Jungkook with his big smile and Jiminie's rosy cheeks.

LOCK IT DOWN, Y'ALL

Puppykitties, I do not mean this harshly, but distractions, drama, and sabotage happen with every comeback and never more so than with Jimin.

We are in the fight of our lives for placement on the charts and awards on music programs. We need fewer filtered streams and much higher sales.

WE HAVE MONEY TO SPEND FOR JIMIN AND VERY FEW TO STEP UP AND MAKE AN ACCOUNT TO BUY:

We absolutely cannot focus on trash talk and ship discourse right now.

Yes, I know today there was a lot of excitement. Joon, Yoongi, Tae, JK, and others (many others in the industry) went to Harry Styles' concert today and it very much appears that Jimin and J-Hope did not. How do I know? Because there's photos of the Tannies on their personal time all over my timeline when there should be screenshots of streaming and voting.

It's disappointing because Jungkook just got done saying he was human too and asking us not to stalk him during his private time. I know some folks feel like if you're out in public, you are "fair game." But that's my point: they aren't game, they aren't prey--they are people and they deserve to be able to hang out with their friends and not have it scrutinized and weaponized. So just know it's always best to let THEM be the ones to share such info, like Joon and Tae did on their insta.

You best believe, the more we pressure them like this, the less we'll get of them.

The last time we saw Jikook together off-schedule, just the two of them alone, they got in a car to leave from the airport in April of 2022. A few days later, the gossip rags sabotaged Jimin's first OST With You with a bullshit scandal about missing insurance premium payments and his apartment "seizure" (on paper).

And ever since that day, we have not seen Jikook hang out in any personal capacity, unless you count the arcade in DC with Hobi and Her. Not once have we seen them alone. POINTEDLY.

There's been blurry CCTV photos of two people in a mini mart and whispers from K forums of folks seeing them around the neighborhood, but nothing concrete; they don't even mention each other in TMIs any more.

We KNOW they have hung out, as per inferences from their family, tattoo artist, and boxing coach, but no solid evidence from the primary source, even when directly asked. Again, POINTEDLY.

And yet when they are together for a work thing or online, they get along like a house on fire. They slap butts and tap hands and do cute things for each other's birthdays and get into giggle fits and compliment each other and flirt like crazy on WeVerse. Jungkook has issued several emphatic invitations for Jimin to come to him and told us to look forward to his teaser at midnight.

But they aren't sharing their relationship with us like they used to, so we honestly do not know if they hang out in person much these days.

P.O.I.N.T.E.D.L.Y.

Not because there's any indication of bad blood or a whiff of a breakup. Our little perfectionist is booked and busy, and our golden maknae was taking time to recharge.

You need to remember that since solo era was mentioned, Jimin has been writing, composing, and recording his own songs.

He's traveled abroad multiple times--Chicago, LA, NYC, Paris--to name a few.

He's hosted people who have traveled to Korea to work with him.

The producers admonished him for not taking breaks to eat or shower and in fact sleeping in the studio for many nights.

He's had to rehearse for music shows, concerts, his collab, and his own music videos.

He's been training so hard on new choreo that he was in too much pain to join Jin for his birthday and you KNOW how our boy feels about his members' birthdays.

He's filmed RUN content and commercials and a documentary and all sorts of stuff for his own album.

He's had work as brand ambassador for Dior and Tiffany's beyond just Fashion Week, which was huge.

I've lost count of the number of high-end photoshoots he's done for Vogue, W, Elle, and I don't know what all else.

The man JUST got off a plane the day before from traveling half-way around the world to interview with and perform for Fallon for TWO NIGHTS.

If I were him, I wouldn't dash over to a packed concert less than 24 hours later, either. Doesn't mean I don't love my members, or my partner, or Styles. It means I'm TIRED and I'm protecting my health and energy.

Especially considering there are appearances on television coming up and god knows what else to promote FACE.

AND FACE IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON.

I love you all, but I swear to God, if you give your time and energy to the assholes on the timeline attacking Jikook, you are robbing Jimin of the time and energy you should be giving to voting, streaming, buying, and hyping FACE. Which is what they want. They want to siphon that energy from you. Please don't be stupid.

We are grasping for every INCH of space on the charts up against absolute giants this and next week. It would be different if all of ARMY got behind Jimin 24/7 but you know how many little 7s actually behave when push comes to shove. To say nothing of the antis, mantis, multis, and cult working against him with purpose.

Please don't let this kind of crap sabotage Jimin's hard work. Celebrate the fact that some BTS members got to hang out at a concert, and honor the fact that some BTS members had other things to do.

PLEASE snap out of it and stick to our goals. We can debate Jikook all day long after FACE is safely to bed. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS.

The amount of jikook or Jimin/Jungkook Twitter accounts I have to keep unfollowing once they show their true colours is ridiculous.

Why is it so hard to find accounts who bias one or two of them but are also not crazy solos? Like most big accounts tend to ignore and not translate jikook moments, and I get why, when they do tkers attack them so over the years they’ve just steadily stopped.

But that means finding accounts who talk about them (not even as a couple, just in general) is really hard. Like you’ll get a translation account who won’t mention JK dropping honours for Jimin, even though he does it so often, but when he does it for another member they discuss it.

Or if JM and JK are having a seperate discussion or moment in the background of a vlive with the group, they just don’t translate it at all.

But that being said I don’t want to follow people who victimise them about everything and think everyone (hybe mostly) is against them and plotting some evil nefarious plan to keep them pushed down. Like that sounds insane!

The latest issue with Spotify has brought the crazies out of course.

JK just got his own Artist profile on Spotify, something every other member except JK and JM had before today, and of course people are acting like it’s some secret plot against one or both of them, but seriously? Have none of them ever had a logical thought in their whole life?

The reason the other members already had artist profiles is due to their solo work, but it’s not just solo songs they’ve written. All members post stuff to Soundcloud, but this stuff isn’t technically solo since it’s not available for purchase and won’t make them eligible for awards ect.

V and Jin got profiles after they sang the OST for Hwarang, a project used for and made for an outside (by outside I mean not BTS or BH) consumer. Both V and Jin have since made other OSTs but JM and JK have not, all their solo stuff is in company, without features and therefore does not qualify them to have solo profiles on Spotify.

Since this 7 fates OST is owned by companies outside of BH it is therefore made and consumed externally and JK gets his profile, there is also a small chance he’s going to drop his mixtape soon and that’s what the profile is for, either way, it’s not a slight against him for not having one before now.

As for Jimin, he has yet to make any content outside the company and he chooses to upload his work onto Soundcloud, as do the rest of them when it comes to solo and personal stuff. It is a choice they clearly made together and they’ve all said before that the mixtapes and the solo songs are a way for them to practice their skills while expressing their artistry and also giving gifts to fans.

They chose a method of doing that, that would let them have solo work without being solo artists, a clear choice BTS made, for whatever reason, but they made it. Hope World, D2 and Mono all could have topped hip hop charts and won album awards in those categories but they’ve chosen not to post them in a way that allows that.

V and Jin have both mentioned that they don’t want studios because the pressure is too much and clearly Jimin feels the same since he doesn’t want one either and prefers being able to make melodies and beats on his phone or iPad, in his own time without the expectation that comes from having a studio. Jk uses his studio for more than just making music, when he first got it, it was for his video editing, producing, composing and I imagine it had something to do with the fact that since he records most of the guides, he might need a place to do that on his own. In a video last year Tae was interviewing JM and was trying to get him to commit to releasing a song this year and JM was hesitant to promise anything or put a time limit on himself, he clearly doesn’t like to work on his stuff with a deadline.

BTS makes many decisions for many reasons that we don’t know about and don’t really have the right to. There are requirements on Spotify that as consumers and not artists we don’t know about, every time people jump to wild theories just to make their bias a victim of something they’re just infantilising them and taking away all agency the members have when it comes to decision making and the choices they’ve come to about music which we are not privy to.

I hate that there’s so few accounts that can’t remain rational when it comes to their fav, and this goes for every members fan, and by all means call out actual problematic things but stop looking for problems and mistreatment where it doesn’t exist or BTS will stop sharing with us, if it’s always taken the wrong way why would they trust us anymore?

So that’s the end of my rant for today, if anyone knows of any good, logical jikook Twitter accounts please let me know and before you suggest please be sure they don’t have any solo tendencies cause I’m tired or unfollowing people after thinking they were sane.

BTS B Tracks

With our fandom growing ever and ever bigger, there are always new ARMY that may need some bonus BTS songs to listen to once they’ve fallen in love with all of their singles. So I’ve created a recommendation list of B tracks for new ARMY or just people who haven’t bothered finding anything besides the mvs. Hope you can find a new song to love (if you’re not someone like me who literally has a 176 song playlist of bts covers, predebut songs, mixtapes, and every album track......)

2 Cool 4 Skool: Like To be honest there isn’t much to choose from on this teeny album, but this song is perf anyway and I’d still suggest it.

Bonus: We Are Bulletproof Pt 1 this song isn’t even on this album but Pt 2 was one of their singles and people need to know that part 1 exists.

O!RUL8,2?: Coffee This song is sweet and soft and especially cute during a time when they were still trying to be all hard (N.O. was their title track during this album, very different from Coffee)

Bonus: Rise of Bangtan /Attack on Bangtan……it varies depending on the video you click on. Quintessential Bangtan Sonyeondan. This is a very important song to know. (I thought it was a relatively well known b track but apparently it’s underappreciated, so it’s here bc it’s important.) PS Yoongi’s voice at the beginning. 👌👌  Top notch.

Skool Luv Affair: Tomorrow This is quite possibly my all time favorite B track of theirs and it still hurts my heart a little when one of my friends tells me they’ve never heard of this song. I heard part of this song in a compilation of Jikook harmonizing in live stages and went on a hunt for this performance from the tiny snippet. 

Bonus: Skool Luv Affair was repackaged and gifted the world with Miss Right

Dark & Wild: Look Here Party song. Top notch rapping from the leader. Great song.

Bonus: What Am I To You This is the album intro so it only has Rap Mon, not the whole group, but this song is so cool. It goes from a happy love song to some angsty nonsense and you CAN HEAR IT IN THE MUSIC. Which is so cool. It goes hard by the end. (the sweet beginning part is featured in Boy in Luv mv intro so....fun little tidbit you’ll be in on)

Wake Up: I Like It Pt 2 Surprise, I even have a song for you from their Japanese album. This song is the second greatest thing to happen to me during Festa 2017 bc they released the gorgeous dance practice and introduced me to the only b track that could rival my love for Tomorrow. I listened to this song for like a week straight. And if the song alone doesn’t do it for you, watch the hip thrusting dance practice a few times.

HYYH Pt 1: Boyz with Fun is right. This song is just a good time waiting to happen.

Bonus Song: Converse High I feel bad bc I keep doing similar song due to my personal taste in music but it would break my heart not to include Converse High. Plus in the live version, our lord and savior Kim Seokjin sings for half the song and it saved my whole entire life.

HYYH Pt 2: Whalien 52 Every single ARMY needs a song in their life where they can hear Jeon Jungkook sing “I’m a whale” and then they proceed to sing about being a lonely whale. Thank me later.

Baepsae Just in case you somehow missed one of Bangtan’s most iconic b tracks, choreographies, dance practices.....here it is.

Wings/YNWA: Listen, this whole album is gold. But go show our beloved main dancer JHope some love and watch Boy Meets Evil. And then like....listen to the rest of the album. And then all the above albums.

Even If I Die It’s You Tae and Jin did an OST song for the show Tae was in (Hwarang) and it’s glorious. Go fall in love with Taejin. They deserve all the love in the world.

Change RM did a collab with a Western artist and talks about world issues? Yes. Yes, please. You should be so lucky as to listen to this song.
