(married couple lestappen — angst, fluff, modern family life, contains mpreg) when one day max came back home from work late and snapped at charles who already preapared their dinner together. charles cried that night, but max didn't do much because his head was full with his job. then, at work, max told daniel everything about his “fight” with charles, resulting daniel told him that he was stupid for doing such thing. max regretted his unpleasant behavior to his beloved husband, brought a cake for him and said sorry to charles.

"I was waiting for you," Charles answered in a low tone as he lowered his face, not daring to look at his husband.

Max snorted. "There's no need to wait for me, it's better if you just go to sleep."

"But I already made dinner—"

"I'm not hungry, Charles." The tone of voice that came out of Max's mouth was enough to send an electrical shock to Charles's body, the Monagasque unable to utter a single word. "Just go to sleep and don't make me tell you twice. I'm tired, Charles."
