my babies if you’re new to a job, i think it’s a really good idea to defer to anyone and everyone that’s been there before you. like, your opinions are so valuable!! but save them for a time when your voice is meaningful ‘cause you’ve proven yourself a little. even if you’re suggesting things that would improve a process immensely, just wait a little. ask questions and listen to the reply like it’s the word of god and don’t get defensive, cause it’s just gonna rub people the wrong way. sit back and learn for a bit and then everyone will respect your voice a lot more
everyone freaking out over broadway closings it sucks but that’s just how it goes in january/winter so it’s nothing to freak out about the industry is gonna be just fine
2018 was so good to me. it was and i feel like i wrapped up a lot of things in Pre Adult life and now I’m officially Adult life and you know! i am kind of proud of everything i did!! so I’m gonna list it. writing it all down makes it really hit me how much i did and how much things changed. bonkers. in a good, great, lucky way.
