happy women’s day • Man, I feel like a woman. @shaniatwain Empowered, confident, strong, and able. Our emotions make us soft and gentle. Our motives keep us determined. Your love helps us grow. And some of us recreate life, using everything we have. We suffer, we hurt (monthly), we feel, we love so hard it hurts. We give everything we have to find ways to make it work. These past two years, my journey as a woman has been really tough as some of you may know. What I truly wish for women everywhere is a better healthcare system and a lot more research on women’s bodies. @lesliemosier - an endometriosis true fighter. Finally had some good progress. 🥂 @thebirdspapaya - body changes and baby addition while being a career superstar ⭐️ @jacindaardern & @katrinjakobsd - women leading a country and raising a family 🇳🇿 🇮🇸 @kamalaharris - an important leading step forward in government 🇺🇸 @billieeilish - being a human who treats others with empathy and creates beautiful music @kristenanniebell - speaking out, fighting for sustainability, poverty, animal cruelty, healthy relationship, honest communication. Two years ago, @lesliemosier worked as a freelance graphic designer and social media marketer in and around the music industry in Nashville, Tenn. After she started to realize that her dog was getting more likes than her on Instagram, she decided to make managing @itsdougthepug her full-time job. It’s a decision that has paid off. The adorably expressive dog, combined with Mosier’s dedication to regular posting, penchant for puns and flair for art direction, has turned Doug the Pug into quite the cottage industry. Mosier says that the most gratifying part of the experience has been seeing how much Doug resonates with people. “It's one thing for a video to get 10 million views. It's another thing to go to these meet and greets and meet all of Doug's fans and to hear their stories. I can't tell you how many moms have come up to me and told me ‘we have a pug because of Doug.’ Or ‘Doug got me through a really hard time,’" Mosier says. "It's more than just an Instagram account to people, it's really a family thing. #IGShowcase Day 2: Pets

Pets come in different shapes and sized but they usually all have one thing in common: they want to make their human(s) happy. While looking through various pictures of furry, hairy and even scaly pets on Instagram, it is clear that most pets are capable of becoming man’s best friend. Some of them, such as dogs or cats, may find it hard to stay still during photoshoots and will look in other directions (I speak from experience). Therefore, capturing images of our precious companions does take some time and patience at times.
