Le Clairon des Anges / The Bugle of Angels and what a Bugle it is! It is a French Rhone style blend except its from the Costieres des Nimes made with the usual suspects of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. I have to say what a wine, serious bang for your buck. At $20 this works perfectly in the depths of winter. Flavours are what you want them to be black cherry savoury spice, blackberries and blueberry with fine chalky tannins.
