Teasy Tickles on Floor 7
Luigi is locked in the bathroom by a slinker and a hammer ghost. Mid-fight, the ghosts find out a funny little secret about Professor E. Gadd's assistant, and happily exploit it.
This fanfic was suggested by an anonymous user. I hope you enjoy!
Luigi had made it to Floor 7, and had made it into the bathroom. Luigi had sucked up the trash can and used it as a wrecking ball to break the toilet, the front of the bathtub, and the sinks. Luigi then pulled on the green, spiky vine that was penetrating the window, killing it. After doing his little celebration dance, Luigi walked up to the door.
But then…The door flashed purple as a purple, glowing gate revealed itself against the door! Luigi jumped back, to save himself from getting stuck in the gate mid-reveal. But worry quickly filled his face as he realized he was stuck in the room against his will. Then, Luigi began to hear what sounded like cat purrs, followed by leaves rustling. Luigi looked to the right and noticed a collection of brown leaves starting to float up and around the man.
“Wha? Whoa!” Luigi reacted, seeing as the leaves circled around to his left, before moving in front of him, and over to the right again. When the leaves reached the right side again, that’s when the noise finally revealed itself! WAH! A big, purple, boxy ghost with two tails and giant fingers, had revealed itself to him! Luigi cried out in fear and froze in place, before slowly turning towards the wall and chattering his teeth as he struggled with the fear of yet another ghost…
Luigi finally started running around, trying to find the evil ghost. The room was stuffy and dark, which slightly hindered him. Running around, he tried to look for the purple smoke that filled the room in the right light whenever it moved. If there was purple smoke, then the slinker wasn’t very far behind.
Luigi looked around and flashed a few different spots, in the hopes of catching the ghost off guard. But after one of the failed flashes, the ghost came up behind him and scared him!
“WAAH!” Luigi screeched! The slinker picked him up by the Poltergust G-00’s red handle on the top, and started carrying the Poltergust, and Luigi, around like he was a handbag! Anxious to get out of the slinker’s grip, Luigi took those Poltergust's straps off his own shoulders, and fell to the ground with a belly flop. The slinker looked at the Poltergust G-00, and laughed at Luigi before throwing the backpack into the pile of leaves in the bathtub.
Luigi got up onto his feet and ran to grab it. But suddenly, a big, red, boxy ghost had shown itself from under the leaf pile! Luigi shrieked and jumped back, before attempting to run away from it. But the poor man had run right into the slinker’s grip!
Luigi shrieked yet again as he felt the slinker pick him up by the left arm. “WaaAAH! LET ME GO!” Luigi begged as he attempted to get his hand out of the Slinker’s grip with his other hand. But the slinker was much stronger than the boy had expected!
Meanwhile, the red ghost had turned on the Poltergust purely by accident, before using it to remove the leaves that were covering his eyes! Though the Poltergust uncovered its eyes, it also sucked up a small bit of his face. Thankfully, with a few pulls, the Poltergust vacuum let go of his face and turned off. With his face free and uncovered, the red ghost placed the Poltergust G-00 down beside the bathtub, and flew up to Luigi and the slinker.
Luigi squeaked and covered his eyes as best he could with his one hand while the red ghost looked him up and down. The ghost rubbed its chin as he looked at Luigi with much curiosity. Luigi slowly uncovered his eye by separating his index and middle finger, ready to re-cover his eye again if he needed it.
Luigi blinked once, and screeched when the red ghost had gotten even closer to him in a single blink! Luigi pulled on his arm and tried once again to get his trapped arm out, but to no avail. And when the slinker saw what he was doing, he quickly picked up Luigi’s other wrist. Luigi yelped again and pulled on his other wrist, before muttering a fearful “Oh no…” for both ghosts to hear.
While both the ghosts were laughing at Luigi’s conundrum, Luigi was pulling on his arms one at a time to desperately get at least one hand free. He tugged on the left arm, but to no avail. He tugged on the right arm, but it was no use.
Then, the ghosts started talking to each other! And with only a few garbled words exchanged, Luigi was thrown up, caught bridal-style by the Slinker’s hands, and thrown towards the red ghost! The red ghost caught him bridal-style as well, before wiggling his fingers and letting out a low, evil laugh.
Luigi screeched and wiggled around, scared out of his skin and praying his own wiggling would help set him free. But when the few seconds of wiggling didn’t work, Luigi covered his eyes and brought his knees slightly to his chest, just awaiting his doom at this point.
This was it…He was done for.
*Poke*
“eEEK!” Luigi reacted, uncovering his face and pulling his legs closer to himself as he hugged his own stomach.
“Oooooh!” The slinker reacted, pushing Luigi’s hands out of the way before poking the man’s stomach again.
“WAH!” Luigi yelped, a slight wobbly smile showing up on his face before looking at the slinker.
Seeing Luigi looking at him, the slinker started giggling and wiggling his fingers at him. Luigi widened his eyes and looked at the wiggling fingers with nervousness. Either this was just another scare-tactic, or the slinker was tickle-teasing him.
Luigi looked at the red ghost with nervousness too, who was laughing evilly in his deep, bellowing voice.
“Uhhhh…mercy?” Luigi said awkwardly.
That was the last word Luigi managed to get out that wasn’t filled with laughter. Both the slinker and the hammer ghost started tickling the poor boy to bits. The hammer ghost was treating Luigi like a toddler and tickling his belly while in his arms, while the stinker was poking his left side and occasionally tweaking his left hip too.
“MAMA WAHAHAHAHahahahaha!” Luigi laughed, wiggling around in the Hammer ghost’s arms. The Hammer ghost chuckled loudly and kept saying things to tease him. Though the garbled teases were embarrassing enough, the words sounded a lot like “Coochy coochy coo” and “Tickle tickle tickle”...Which was SO NOT FAIR!
Amidst his laughing, Luigi’s hat managed to slide off his head and clap against the floor. When the slinker saw this, he eagerly grabbed the green hat and tried it on his own head. The Hammer ghost stopped tickling for a moment, but still had a good grip on Luigi. With this, Luigi started to calm down slightly.
But when Luigi took one look at the slinker, he went beet red and covered his face with embarrassment. The slinker was wearing his hat and making surprisingly accurate imitations of Luigi’s laughter and giggles. It was so evil and so teasy.
It just wasn’t fair! None of this was fair!
The Hammer let out evil laughs of his own as he took the hat from the Slinker, and plopped it onto Luigi’s head. But instead of fixing the hat, Luigi pulled it off his head and used it to cover up his face. “Plehehease let me goho.” Luigi begged.
“Awww…Is E. Gadd’s assistant too ticklish for his own good?” The hammer ghost teased in his low voice.
Luigi widened his eyes under the hat. These ghosts could talk the whole time?! WHAT?!
The slinker laughed and tweaked Luigi’s hip one more time.
Luigi squeaked and tightened the grip on his hat. “NOHoho stohohop!” Luigi whined.
“Now which spot tickles more, I wonder…” The Hammer ghost tweaked his left side. “Here?”
“BaHAHAhahaha!” Luigi bursted out, momentarily uncovering his face and revealing the toothy, wobbly smile that filled his red face.
The Slinker flew up and tweaked Luigi’s left hip next. “Or here?” the slinker asked, his voice somewhat higher and more goofy-sounding than the Hammer ghost’s voice.
Luigi stretched out his legs and let out a long stream of cackles. “LEHEHEAVE MEHEHE ALOHOHONE!” Luigi yelled.
The hammer ghost laughed. “I think we have a winner.” He replied.
Slinker giggled as he flew up to Luigi’s brown boots. “How ticklish are your feet?” The slinker asked.
Luigi pulled his feet up to his chest and hugged them. “NO! Don’t you dare!” Luigi yelled. “Nooo touchy!” Luigi warned.
The slinker shrugged his shoulders and grabbed Luigi by the arm again. “Call me evil but…” The Hammer ghost let go of Luigi, letting the man’s lower body fall. “How ticklish are your armpits?” Slinker asked next.
Luigi squeaked and tried to cover up his armpit with his free hand. But the Hammer ghost would prove this strategy to be quite ineffective. He started skittering his big, red fingers on Luigi’s underarms, leaving Luigi squeaking and laughing. “EEEhehehehe! No-nohoho! Stahahap-”  Luigi would quickly manage to shoo the hand away and cover his armpit. But despite what he originally believed, this didn’t stop anyone. The Hammer ghost would only move his fingers down to the ribs, or the sides, leaving Luigi squealing and laughing all over again.
Everytime Luigi would cover up a ticklish spot, the Hammer ghost would just go somewhere else. It was so unfair, and so evil. Luigi was ultimately left a powerless mess of giggles by the end. Though for some reason, the man kept on trying to cover up the same spots over and over again, despite knowing it was doing jack squat.
“Ohohokahahay, thahahat’s enohohough, plehehehease.” Luigi begged.
The Hammer ghost chuckled and shook his head, saying something to the slinker next. The slinker giggled and grabbed Luigi’s other arm, holding both arms up this time. Luigi widened his eyes as it quickly dawned on him that Luigi wouldn’t be able to cover up anything this time! If they started tickling him, specifically in his armpits, then he would have to just endure it.
When the red hands got closer and closer, Luigi started to feel sweat dripping down his face nervously. “W-Wait! What do you want from me?!” Luigi asked, squeezing his eyes shut.
The Slinker just laughed. “For being so vulnerable, he's not afraid to speak his mind.” The Slinker reacted with a laugh.
The hammer ghost rolled his eye sockets. “He should be speechless.” The Hammer ghost muttered before lifting Luigi’s chin. “Just be glad you aren’t dead yet, kid.” The hammer ghost reacted.
Luigi yelped and looked at the hammer ghost with fear and nervousness.
“Any more last words?” The hammer ghost asked with a smirk, lifting his chin up a bit more and gently tickling his chin with his second finger.
The scratching tickled a lot more than Luigi expected, making Luigi wanna lower his chin to cover it up. He was embarrassed and still quite giggly. “Yohou will regrehet messing with Luihihigi.” Luigi said.
With that said, the Hammer ghost let go of his chin and immediately started skittering his fingers all over Luigi’s armpits.
Luigi squeaked and kicked his feet. “AAHAHA! BAHAHAHA- NO! NOHOHOT MY AHAHARMPIHIHITS!” Luigi screamed, throwing his head back as the laughter began to overtake him once more.
“Imagine…” the hammer ghost started dragging its index fingers down the armpits to the upper ribs. “-being this sensitive…” he moved his fingers back up towards the armpits again.
“eeeEEEHEHEEE! NO! NAHAHA! NOHOHOHOOO!” Luigi yelled, pulling on his arms and cackling almost like a mad man. “-And being unable to stop my fingers…” The ghost continued, adding a second finger to each armpit and skittered really quickly. “-from completely destroying you inside and out.” He finished.
Luigi wheezed and let out a long fit of cackles. “PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE! IHIHI’M GOHOHONNA DIHIHIHIHIEEE!” Luigi shouted.
“Having any regrets yet?” THe Hammer ghost asked.
Luigi could feel himself quickly growing exhausted from all the tickles. “THIS IHIS SOHOHOHOHO UHUHUNFAHAHAIR!” Luigi yelled.
The Slinker just laughed. “You really thought this would be a fair fight?!” The Slinker asked.
The Hammer ghost chuckled and looked at his own fingers. “What would happen if…” He moved his fingers inches away from Luigi’s armpits. “-I left my fingers right close to your armpits…” The ghost asked, still wiggling his fingers.
Luigi looked at the fingers on either side of his armpits, letting out nervous giggles and attempting to get those wiggling fingers at least another inch away. Though being teased like this lessened his laughter dramatically, it still left him with a serious case of the giggles.
“I’m not technically tickling them, but…” The Hammer ghost smirked evilly. “You do seem to be laughing anyway.” The ghost added.
“You can tickle him without actually using your hands?!” The Slinker reacted.
“Yup. Some humans are so sensitive, they don’t even need to feel the fingers against their body.” The Hammer ghost added. “Some humans can start reacting just by teasing them like this.” The ghost told his friend.
Luigi tugged on his arms as much as he possibly could. He tried to calm himself down with breaths in and out. But his breathless laughter kept making that really difficult. He knew that no matter what he tried to do, nothing would change. He was not the one in control. The ghosts were. He couldn’t do anything except laugh, giggle and wait for them to get bored.
Suddenly, a loud bark filled the room. Luigi lifted his head up with shock, while the Slinker widened his eyes.
“Wha- OUCH!” The Hammer ghost yelled in pain, before flying all over the room with something white attached to both his tails. Luigi let out a breath of relief, smiling as he saw who it was. It was Polterpup, coming to save him in his most desperate moment.
The slinker ghost yelped and let go of Luigi’s arms, before trying to fly away. Amidst his flying, the Slinker flew into the gate, knocking it down and now rendering Luigi free. Where the slinker went, no one could tell you.
While Luigi fell to the ground, Polterpup continued barking and chased the hammer ghost out of the room. When the Hammer ghost was gone, Polterpup grabbed the Poltergust G-00 from beside the ruined bathtub. He placed it down beside Luigi, before giving Luigi some kisses on his cheeks and face.
Luigi giggled and got up, wiping his face before hugging Polterpup. “Thank you, puppy.” Luigi told him, kissing his head.
Polterpup woofed excitedly and kissed his ear back, earning some more giggles from his owner. In times like these, Luigi was so thankful to have a ghost that was always on his side no matter what. As Luigi left the room with Polterpup, he began to wonder how he managed to get through two other mansions on his own all that time…

⭐Super Mario Bros. Movie- Tickle Headcanons 🍄
Tumblr media
I loved the Mario movie- so many easter eggs, people SLAYED their roles, especially Jack Black. But you wanna know who I also love? @fluffy-lovely-clouds! And they requested these! So yeah! ENJOOOOYY!!! yeah wait before you read have some power-ups as a gift 🍄🌷🪶🦝
Mario
Tumblr media
Mario is such a ler. He is optimistic, caring and physically affectionate- but he's actually kind of more of a switch. Tends to tease- things like "I'm gonna get you!" Usually with his dorky commercial Italian accent. He can't take what he dishes out- usually on his brother Luigi, and eventually, Princess Peach and occasionally Toad. He always comes out on top in tickle fights and employs every trick in the book. Speaking of Luigi, he uses his stature to his advantage when However, he can not take what he dishes out at all. Hearty, bellowing laughter. Power-ups can help him become ...more ler? Tickling gets more cat-like when he gets the cat suit, can use the Cape Feather for obvious reasons, And in the post-credits scene, Yoshi is revealed so I feel like he could get Yoshi to help him gang up on a lee >:D The Ice Flower could freeze a lee in place.. I could go on and on and ON, because I literally love it when lers use newly-gained abilities/superpowers/can transform and use it to advantage of tickling hshshsh But I doubt he needs this. After all, he is an elder sibling. As a lee, he is often on the unwilling end of a funny situation in the Mushroom Kingdom. He doesn't hate being tickled but he keeps getting into funny and awkward positions, such as getting ganged up on by the Toads as Peach looks on in awe, being tickled by a mischievous Piranha Plant's tongue an more. However in Brooklyn, tickling was much more .. normal. Less crazytown. He and Luigi tickle each other casually as a means of playing pranks on each other. Worst spot is his stomach and sides- which aforementioned green brother likes to prod at to tease him. Luigi
Tumblr media
-My friend who used to be in my old drama class carried a Luigi plush with him so much and it got decapitated just funny and random SORRY ANYWAY ONTO HCS The more cowardice and younger sibling, he always ends up as the 'lee more often than not. However he isn't shy to tickle Mario a little (..it's a lot) for fun. Blurts out "nononononoNO!!" when being tickled- out of habit. Genuinely a willing lee, just.. Very Luigi. Elaborating on his ler side, Luigi learns from the best. He shares the same technique of teasing and egging-on with the Italian accent, as well as uses his dextrous plumbing fingers to his own wiles. -His most ticklish spots are his knees, neck, armpits, ribs and stomach. This is a laundry list which Mario had memorized. -His own time in the Darklands wasn't really spent being tickled- THAT WAS LITERALLY HELL MY BROTHA. However he did spend it thinking of the playful tickles with Mario to distract him from the noise of his looming cage rattling above lava. However when he gets back to the Mushroom Kingdom.. the denizens are thrilled to see another human- and albeit one just as ticklish as Mario!! Luigi also meets Princess Daisy upon that time- and she's such a ler towards him it's unbelievable. -Also when he meets Polterpup upon fixin' up an old familiar spooky mansion, dog-kisses ensued. Love Polterpup so much man. (Small switch Mario+Luigi section)
Tumblr media
Mario and Luigi are best buds, spaghetti and meatballs, cheese and tomato sauce. But they are extremely prone to some playful grilling. They both put their all into tickle fights, and there is no clear winner- it's just an all-round tussle- whoever starts it probably won't end it. Because of this, they are also amazing tag-team lers- and are incredible at tickling others. They know each other's tickle spots like a plumbing manual, and often employ the tactic of "Not touching you!" as well as the forbidden leg kicks. Just. Familial tickles man. Toad
Tumblr media
-Toad is a chatterbox. A loudmouth. This should be fact and not tickle fiction, but speaking of tickles, the other Toads who once thought of him as eccentric are now tight with him, Mario, Luigi, DK, Peach and the like. Doesn't instigate much, but Mario and Luigi gang up on the little guy like a brother, and Peach gives him some pokes to keep him in line. As a lee, he's jumpy and flails around, laughing out pleas like "I'm gonna die!". He ends up in ticklish situations a lot with the wacky creatures- and eventually wacky humans- of the Mushroom Kingdom. -Donkey Kong once picked him up and played around with him like a stress-toy, tickling him in the process. This just sounds really funny. I like it. Toad's most ticklish spots are his stomach and little feets. -Toad as a ler is incredibly nimble- and of course, talks his lee's ears off. He climbs on top of bigger lers and his hands fly from spot to spot. Tickling Toad may be hilarious but his revenge will be unbearable. Peach
Tumblr media
Though the other Peaches read more lee-leaning to me, I feel like this Peach is a total ler-leaning switch. Being raised by the Toads who were very friendly with her, she got tickled a lot. She also tickled them, let's not lie. Despite being a bad-ass, she is genuinely a really caring ler- unless you REALLY bugged her, then she goes all-out with those fast, full-coverage skitters. She is an incredibly vigilant lee and attempts to avoid the ler's attacks from all directions. Mario learned this by losing a tickle fight with her. She usually has to be held down to get those melodious giggles out of her- and when she is fully vulnerable to the tickling- she does a lot of her classic "damsel-in-distress" crying out. Just picture this. "Mario, help!!" through laughter. Boom. Yeah, that's how she is. Of course, of course, of course she is a kicker. How predictable art thou. DK
Tumblr media
Donkey Kong plays himself up all the time- with all the showboating and flexing, he doesn't want anybody to know he's the least bit ticklish! However, he is indubitably so- and leave it to Mario to expose this to his longtime fans on complete accident. Fortunately they didn't like him any less- particularly that little Diddy Kong- and unfortunately for Mario, revenge was served. Makes chaotic, garbled monkey noises when he laughs. Imagine a gorilla just. Cursing. Very evasive of tickling, but to no avail. Most ticklish on his torso, and incredibly vulnerable to rougher tickles- he's not easy to break! Mario takes advantage of this the most, given their rivalry. Uses his size and fluffy fur to his advantage- picks up smaller lees and mercilessly tickles them. Well, not completely merciless. He's a Kong with a heart, you know. However this can come to a disadvantage when he is brought down to the floor by even the smallest fingers. Bowser
Tumblr media
Bowser is an INCREDIBLE ler, no understatement. He employs tickle interrogation on multiple occasions and delights in the laughter of his victims, laughing loudly and evily along with them and asking them questions through it. He gloats, taunts, and uses his tail and claws to make tickling all the more methodical. With his piano-playing prowess, he enjoys skittering his claws across the lee he has in his draconic clutches. Also he's voiced by Jack Black. As a lee- it's hard to get him as he's HUGE- and can hide oin his shell at any time. The only person who's successfully done so is Kamek, and even so he doesn't dare to. BACK TO LER BOWSER!! Really teasy, will ask the lee stupid questions while tickling them.

Oh, curious for the headcanons for the Mario Bros!
I haven’t played too many of the games in the Super Mario Franchise, but I think I can do this!
But first, I would like to make this statement: I am very sorry for all of the Mario fans out there. Fire Emblem fans may have lost a localized Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, but Mario fans lost Super Mario 3D All-Stars (I have a digital copy of that game, by the way. I want to get back to playing it at some point), Super Mario Bros. 35 (which was a very fun game, in my opinion), the Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch, and the ability to upload your courses in Super Mario Maker on the Wii U (though I guess that was going to happen at some point).
Needless to say, you guys have lost a lot. I hope that these headcanons will make you feel a bit better!
Starting off with Mario, I think he would be a ler-leaning switch who is incredibly ticklish. He isn’t as sensitive as his brother is, but he’ll still break down in laughter if someone were to put their hands on one of his worst spots.
Before I begin the lee!Mario headcanons, I would like to make an announcement: Mario is canonically ticklish! This is shown in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. There might be more, but for now, these are the games that Mario can get tickled in!
If you want to know how Mario can be tickled in these games, feel free to ask! I got this information from the Mario Wiki, and I would be more than happy to provide the links to the pages that I found all of this information on!
Now that I have gotten that out of the way, I’m going to list off Mario’s worst spots. Those spots are his sides, his knees, and his neck.
His often gets targeted by Luigi, Princess Peach, and Princess Daisy. All three of them love to sneak up on him and launch a surprise tickle attack. He’ll react as if he had just jumped into a pool of lava, and it’s one of the funniest things that you’ll ever see in your entire life.
He doesn’t squirm around or fight back all that much while he’s being tickled. He may prefer to be the ler, but he won’t get mad at his ler for making him laugh, especially if it’s Luigi. Mario seems like the kind of guy who would enjoy a good laugh every now and then, and tickling would definitely help out with that.
If his ler is Luigi, and if he gets in the mood to fight back against him, he will do so, but not out of anger. He’s not going to discourage his brother from tickling him. If anything, he’ll try to initiate a tickle fight so he can encourage his brother to fight back and turn the tables.
He is weak to teasing, but only if the teasing is coming from someone he knows. Don’t try to tease him if you are a stranger to him, he will hate it. A lot. Don’t tease him if you are anything like Bowser or Bowser Jr., either. He’ll hate it even more.
If he knows who you are, then you are more than welcome to tease him while you tickle him. He is especially weak to Peach and Luigi’s teasing. Something about Peach’s tone and the way that Luigi teases him just kills him on the spot.
Teasing is one of the few things that can make him blush. His blush will be a light pink color when you start tickling him, and it will gradually darken as you keep going. Teasing will speed up the darkening of his blush.
Mario’s lers are Luigi, Peach, and Daisy, as I mentioned earlier. The Toads will occasionally join in on the fun if they think he needs a good laugh. In Smash, the first three people in the previous list will continue to target him, but now, they are joined by Link, Ness, the Villagers, and the Inklings.
Let’s move on to ler!Mario headcanons. To me, Mario seems like the kind of ler that will tickle those who want or need to be cheered up. He will not tickle someone into hysterics (unless he is explicitly told to do so), and he will not overstep any boundaries.
His favorite way to tickle someone who’s has a particularly bad day is to lightly tickle their sides and the bottom of their ribcage to get quiet giggles out of them. He’ll keep it up until one of the following occurs:
His lee tells him to stop. He will always comply with this the request, even if he hasn’t been tickling that person for long.
His lee tells him to increase the intensity of the tickling. He’ll do his best to comply with this request without making it harder for his lee to breathe (unless he is explicitly told to tickle them until they are nearly breathless. He’ll hesitate to go through with this request, but he will eventually fulfill it).
His lee has been cheered up successfully. He’ll retract his hands as soon as his lee tells him that they are in a better mood, but if they tell him to keep going, he will comply.
Unless he is tickling Luigi, Mario will not initiate a tickle fight with anyone. He doesn’t know why, but the idea of getting into a tickle fight with anyone that isn’t his brother sounds unappealing to him (though he will occasionally make an exception).
The idea of teasing anyone who isn’t Luigi also sounds unappealing to him (but once again, he can make an exception), so unless you ask him, he won’t incorporate teasing into his tickling. If Luigi is the lee, then he will let loose a flurry of teases that are meant to make him laugh a little bit more than he already is.
Obviously, Luigi is his main lee, though he will go after Peach and Daisy from time to time. In Smash, Luigi is still his main lee, but he will also target the younger fighters. Out of all of them, Ness and the Inklings are the ones that will be targeted the most.
It’s Luigi time, now! He is definitely a lee in my mind.
I recently made a post about the most ticklish fighter for each Smash game, and how they would get into a tickle fight with one another. In that post, I said that couldn’t come up with an idea as to who the most ticklish fighter of Smash 64 would be. After thinking about it, I decided to give that title to Luigi. I hope the upcoming headcanons will make my reasoning clear.
Luigi is FAR more ticklish than his brother is. He’ll jump at the slightest of touches, regardless of whether or not the touch was intentional. He will squeak if you catch him off guard. He might fall over if you tickle his worst spots. And he secretly loves it all.
He doesn’t like to admit to it, but he enjoys being the lee due to the fact that he is getting attention. It’s not like anyone is intentionally ignoring him, but he definitely lives in his brother’s shadow for the most part. To him, tickling gives him the attention that he secretly craves, and it also gives him the satisfaction of making someone else smile, even if he’s the lee.
His worst spots are his underarms, his stomach, and his ears, but you could tickle him anywhere and he would laugh.
He is VERY squirmy! Seriously, he’s worse than both Pit and Shulk, and those two are even more ticklish than he is! If you pin his arms down to his sides, be careful while you are tickle him, because he could knock you down on accident due to his squirming.
Despite all of this, he won’t try to fight back, unless he’s in a tickle fight. If that’s the case, then he will try to get payback on his ler, even if it ends with him getting tickled to death.
Luigi can easily become overwhelmed by tickling, and he might become scared of you if you go too far with it, even if you didn’t mean to do so. This is another thing that you should take into consideration if you want to tickle him.
I probably should have said this earlier, but I can totally see Mario sending the Polterpup after Luigi if he sees him in a bad mood. I can also see him destroying his brother with tickles as payback for laughing at him at the end of Luigi’s Mansion.
Before I list off the names of his lers, I want to make one final lee!Luigi headcanon. Be warned, this headcanon will contain a spoiler for the plot of Luigi’s Mansion (and a possible spoiler for the plot of Luigi’s Mansion 3).
After the events of Luigi’s Mansion (and possibly Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Luigi’s Mansion 3), Luigi would therefore suffer from frequent panic attacks due to trauma. He became afraid of people sneaking up on him, and he fears that something will jump out at him at any given moment. He’s especially afraid of paintings after seeing Mario in one during the first Luigi’s Mansion and Luigi’s Mansion 3.
To help him recover from his trauma, Simon and Richter will tickle him after he makes a full recovery from a panic attack. Overtime, his anxiety will decrease as he begins to replace the terrifying thought of someone coming to harm him with a more positive image of being tickled by Simon and Richter. He hasn’t made a complete recovery just yet, but he is on the right path.
In his homeworld, Luigi’s main lers are Mario, Peach, and Daisy. In Smash, Simon and Richter will join those three, and they will all work together to help Luigi recover from his trauma.
As a ler, he is rather nervous. His nervousness can be compared to Pyra’s nervousness when she was getting used to the idea of tickling other people.
He’s always afraid of something going wrong while he tickles someone. He’s worried about his lee passing out, worried about digging his fingers a little too deeply into someone’s skin, and worried about his lee getting angry at him. Needless to say, he has a hard time with tickling other people, and he might leave his lee lying and waiting on the ground.
If this happens to you, you have two choices. You can either wait it out, or try to help him with calming down. You can even encourage him to tickle you. That way, he’ll know that you are comfortable with him, and he will regain the courage to tickle you.
He doesn’t like to tease his lees (even if his lee is Mario), but unlike his brother, it’s not caused by a lack of interest in teasing people who are not related to him. Instead, it’s due to the fact that he will make himself blush if he tries to tease his lee. He knows that people will take advantage of this weakness, so he won’t tease his lees.
Just like his brother, he won’t engage in tickle fights, unless they involve his brother. However, unlike Mario, he’ll stay away from tickle fights because he knows for a fact that he will likely lose the fight.
In his world, Mario and Daisy are his main lees. This is carried over into Smash, where Simon and Richter will join them (though Luigi tends to tickle them far less often).
And that’s that, I suppose. I’m a little nervous about posting this, but I’ll be brave and post it anyway.
P.S Is Luigi canonically ticklish? I have a feeling that he is, but I’m not entirely sure about that.

Man’s Best Ghost Friend
The Mansion is back to normal, and so is their hotel vacation! Luigi and Polterpup spend some time together, and finds out a useful piece of information!
Luigi was walking around the Last Resort Hotel, after the Hotel was restored to its original, luxurious glory. He was finally able to get that wonderful vacation he had been dreaming of since he got sucked into that ghost-filled conflict...literally...and what a way to start his vacation, by walking around the hotel with his ghost pup?
Polterpup happily trotted beside his owner, and looked around at the pretty place. He walked to the different floors in the big place, checked out the shopping area and toured the medieval entertainment hall. The last place Luigi wanted to check out, was the gigantic garden. So, that was where they visited next!
Luigi and Polterpup walked out of the elevator and looked up at the recently fixed swirly staircase with the doors on each floor. The tree that was there before had been removed and replaced with a pretty autumn tree, that stretched all the way up to the top. The tree had been properly trimmed to not overgrow beyond the middle of the room, and some short, strong branches were kept to allow a person to climb the tree whenever they please. Luigi smiled and placed his hands on his hips as he readied himself to climb the tree.
“Ready?” Luigi asked Polterpup. Polterpup let out a happy bark.
“Bark! (Ready! Let’s go!)” Polterpup replied. Luigi fixed his hat, before stepping onto the first branch. Using the branches above him, Luigi hoisted himself up onto the next branch, and repeated this process. Polterpup happily flew beside him, watching his human climb and readying himself to catch him in case he loses his grip. I’m a few minutes, Luigi had already scaled partway up the tree. He decided to take a break and sit on one of the branches. Polterpup happily sat beside him while he breathed. Polterpup gave Luigi a dog kiss, earning him a smile and a few pets from the green lad.
“Awoo-woof. (I love you.)” Polterpup said, half barking and half whining happily, as he laid his head on Luigi’s lap.
“I love you too.” Luigi replied, softly petting Polterpup’s head and back. After a few more pets, Luigi decided to continue climbing.
Luigi grabbed onto the branch in front of him to steady himself, and stood up. Polterpup stood up, and happily watched Luigi stand up. Next, Luigi stepped onto a higher branch, grabbed a higher branch with his hand, and hoisted himself up to the next branch. Eventually, Luigi managed to get halfway up the big tree. As he climbed, he stopped for a moment to watch Polterpup hop up each branch with ease. Soon, Polterpup had jumped up past him, and was beating him up the tree. Luigi happily caught up to his swift dog at his own pace, and eventually reached the three-quarter mark.
He decided to take another break, and sit on the last branch he had stepped onto. Looking down, the view was very colorful and pretty. Thanks to the autumn weather right now, the tree leaves had been changing and falling, leaving a coat of leaves onto the dirtied ground. Polterpup had flown down to the pile of leaves on the ground, and was jumping in it and barking eagerly. Luigi chuckled as he watched, a feeling of warmth overtaking his body as he watched.
A few moments later, Polterpup had disappeared and reappeared on Luigi’s branch...with a gift in his mouth! Luigi took the gift, wiped the ghost goop off, and looked at it. It was a multi-colored leaf! It was a nice yellow color on the bottom, that transitioned to orange in the middle and to a dark red at the top. It was a rare leaf to find, actually!
“Good boy.” Luigi cheered, petting the puppy and scratching underneath the red collar. Polterpup closed its ghost eyes and leaned into the wondrous massage. As a way to try and return the love, Polterpup used his tail to try and scratch the back of Luigi’s neck as well.
“AAAIIII! Polterpup!” Luigi yelled, reacting differently than Polterpup expected. Confused, Polterpup repeated the action: he brought his tail towards the back of Luigi’s neck, and attempted to scratch it.
“Yeeeeehehehehahahaha! That tihihihickles!” Luigi squealed, scrunching his shoulders and tightening his grip on his sitting branch. Still confused, Polterpup whined and turned his head to the side.
“Sorry Polterpup. Your tail tickled me.” He explained. Polterpup looked at his tail. Realizing that the action caused his owner great happiness, Polterpup decided to do it again. He made the tail size taller to reach, and fluttered the end of his tail on Luigi’s neck.
“Pohohoholterpuhuhup! Ihihi’m gonna fahahahall!” Luigi warned through his giggles.
Polterpup stopped his tail, so that Luigi could repeat himself.
“I...I might fall. You don’t have to worry, because...well, you’re a ghost.” Luigi explained to the pup, poking the pup’s middle. Polterpup watched the poke make a rippling effect in his ghost body. Polterpup decided to return the poke with his tail.
“Eek! Hehehehehey!” Luigi squealed, covering up his ribs. Polterpup poked Luigi again, but in a different spot. Luigi let out another yelp, and covered up as much as he could. However, Polterpup was determined to poke a new, vulnerable spot each time. Despite the silliness that was going on, Luigi had managed to keep himself from slipping off the tree. After a few more pokes, Polterpup took a break from their little game and started flying down. Luigi smiled and happily climbed down after him.
*A couple hours later*
Mario, Peach, Luigi, Dr. E. Gadd and the group of roads were all enjoying a chicken dinner together. Luigi was talking with Dr. E. Gadd and sitting by Mario and Princess Peach, who were having a conversation of their own. During the conversation, Polterpup had noticed the smell of chicken, and walked up to the space between Luigi and E. Gadd’s chairs.
“Ohohoho! You want a treat?” E. Gadd asked.
Polterpup paced on the spot. “Bark! (I smell chicken!)” Polterpup reacted excitedly.
“Here ya go!” Luigi said, giving Polterpup a piece of his chicken. Polterpup happily accepted it, and chewed it down with no problem.
“This feels nice. I like this hotel!” Luigi exclaimed, taking his shoes off under the table and placing them aside.
“Me too! Especially when there’s no ghosts inhabiting the place.” Dr. E. Gadd added.
“Ya, that’s a big plus!” Luigi reacted, shivering at the sight of some of the ghosts he’s had to fight.
“Thank you so much for saving me! And for giving me my ghost collection back. It’s very comforting to see the ghosts again.” Dr. E. Gadd said.
“No problem! I’m happy to help, even if there’s ghosts involved.” Luigi replied.
“You’re looking after Polterpup with no issues. Perhaps your fear is softening a little bit?” E. Gadd asked.
“Well...I’d like to think so. I still get slightly scared if he jumps in front of me...but he’s a happy dog, and I love him!” Luigi explained, petting Polterpup under the table with his feet.
“Not a lot of people would do that. It’s rare that you see someone overcoming their fear to have a pet that’s the very thing they fear. You’re very brave for doing that.” E. Gadd explained.
“Thank you.” Luigi replied kindly. While petting Polterpup with his feet, he noticed that the puppy was grabbing onto his one sock.
“Hey! Polterpup, let go!” Luigi ordered. However, the puppy didn’t want to...instead, it decided to nibble on his toes like a delicate chew toy.
“Eek! Hehey!” Luigi yelped, feeling his lips pull into a goofy smile. “Ohoho nohoho...Polterpup, please don’t.” Luigi asked politely.
Polterpup happened to find a loose piece of sock fabric, and pulled on that instead. He pulled the sock right off, and walked away to play with it.
“There goes my sock.” Luigi said, chuckling and shaking his head at the ghost dog’s mischief.
The dog walked to a different room, and laid down on a bed that had been previously placed there for him. He pulled at the sock, threw the sock back and forth, and chewed at the sock, but didn’t rip the sock. He knew this was Luigi’s sock that he might want back later.
However, as he continued to play with the sock, he started to realize that there are more interesting things to chew on, than the sock. He soon realized that the foot he was chewing the sock on, was more interesting. Polterpup wasted no time, and disappeared through the floor. He flew around to the ceiling, and put his head through it. Noticing he was back under the table, he brought his whole body through and placed the sock down.
Polterpup walked up to Luigi’s foot and eyed his toes. He decided to lick them first, to see if they taste nice.
“AAAH! What the-“ Luigi yelped, causing a silence to overcome the room. He looked under the table, to see Polterpup in the pre-running pose. “Polterpup? I thought you left with my so-...oh.” Luigi said, dropping all suspicions as he eyed up the sock, forgotten and left aside. Polterpup jumped onto Luigi’s naked foot, held it down with his paws and started nibbling and licking the foot. “Oh NOhohohohoho! Hahahahaha! Stahahahap!” Luigi bursted out, gripping the chair and wiggling about.
Mario’s eyes widened. He didn’t fully understand what was going on. Whatever it was, it was occurring under the table. So, Mario checked under it, and immediately got his answer. Mario bursted out laughing. “Polterpup thinks your foot’s a chew toy!” Mario said through his own fit of laughter.
Polterpup decided that Luigi’s foot tasted a lot better than his sock did. So, he decided to start licking his foot along with the nibbling. Luigi let out a long gasp, and threw his head back. “AAAAAHH! WAIT! POHOHOLTERPUP! NOHOHOHOHAHAHAHA!” Luigi shouted. His laughter had dramatically raised in volume, and his wiggling got a little more desperate.
He tried to pull his foot away, but Polterpup’s was surprisingly heavy for a ghost dog. Luigi also tried kicking the dog off with his other foot, but the ghost dog would only move positions to avoid it. Luigi could feel tears of joy starting to show up from the treatment he was receiving from his dog. “POHOHOHOLTERPUHUHUP! PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE!” Luigi yelled, placing his hands and head onto the table, and pounding the table a few times to cope with the feeling. Mario was finding all of this quite amusing. He was happily watching his brother laugh it all out as the pup tickled his foot.
“What’s wrong Luigi? Does it tickle too much?” Mario asked.
“YOHOHOHOU’RE NAHAHAHAT HELPIHIHIHING!” Luigi replied.
“You want some help? I’ll help you.” Mario offered. He got up from his seat, moved the chair to make room, and climbed down underneath the table. Mario crawled up to the puppy, and poked him on the back. Polterpup looked up, Luigi’s foot still in his mouth.
“Stop. No more.” Mario ordered. Polterpup listened, and let go of Luigi’s foot. Then, Mario quietly told the dog to follow him before getting out from under the table. Polterpup happily followed him, and watched Luigi breath deeply from exhaustion.
“You good now, Luigi?” Mario asked.
Luigi nodded. “Ya, I’m alright. Thanks.” Luigi replied.
“No problem.” Mario concluded. Luigi looked over at the brother dressed in red, and couldn’t help but notice a glimmer of mischief in his eyes.
“Uh...Mario?” Luigi asked.
“Yyyeeeeeeeesss?” Mario replied.
“You’re kinda scaring me...” Luigi warned.
“Now why would you be scared of me? I’m your brother! I would never hurt you!” Mario exclaimed from mock disbelief.
Luigi gulped. He could sense what’s coming...he watched as Mario slowly tiptoed towards his chair.
“I would, however...” Mario warned, talking behind the chair Luigi was sitting in. Slowly, Mario leaned his hands above Luigi’s sides. “Turn you into a puddle of giggles.” Mario finished, right before diving all 10 fingers into his sides.
“Wahahahahait! Mahahario! Not yohohohou too!” Luigi bursted out.
“Enjoying the view, Polterpup?” Mario asked, looking at the ghost dog, watching beside the chair with a big smile.
“Bark! (You bet! Luigi’s so happy!)” Polterpup replied. Mario smiled and switched places. He decided to move his fingers from his sides, to his stomach.
“EEEEhehehehehehehehe!” Luigi yelled, turning to the side and curling into the fetal position. With the change in position, Mario couldn’t really fit his hands in to tickle his stomach. So, he went for the neck.
“EEEEEEEKK! NAHAHAHAHAHA!” Luigi screeched, scrunching his shoulders and tipping his head back.
“Fun fact: the back of the ears, is Luigi’s worst spot.” Mario explained.
“WAIT, WHAT?! NOHOHO! NAHAT MY EHEHEHEARS!” Luigi begged.
“Why not? I’ve told them about it already, so I minus well show them.” Mario replied, before moving his right hand away from the neck. He placed his fingers behind the exposed right ear, and started scratching lightly.
Luigi threw his head back and let out a loud, high pitched scream. Peach’s eyes widened at the sudden shout, and covered her mouth with her right hand. The toads covered their ears and Mario considered doing the same thing. Instead, he decided to remove his fingers and step back. Luigi stopped his scream, and slowly calmed down. He took in as many breaths as he could muster, and let out some leftover giggles.
“Are you okay, Luigi?” Peach asked. Luigi had a uncontrollable smile on his face, and was uncurling his body out of the fetal position.
“Ya...ya...I’m...okay...” Luigi replied through his big breaths.
Mario stretches out his arms to give him a little hug. Luigi was quite hesitant at first (because...he was tickled 5 seconds ago...MARIO COULD BE PULLING A SNEAKY ON HIM!), but he soon obliged and hugged him back. Thankfully, Mario wasn’t planning on tickling him more, and he kept his hands flat against Luigi’s back.
Suddenly, Luigi and Mario were pulled apart by a hyperactive ghost dog, who begged for attention and pets. Luigi and Mario laughed as they both accepted his kisses of affection and eagerly petted him.
Seeing his owners happy, always made Polterpup happy. And now, Polterpup knew how to cheer them up when they need it!
