Hey ! I love your last drawings of Leopika expecting their first child ! It's so soft! Do you think Kurapika would deliver at home ? Or like at the Hospital but following a Kurta ritual of some sort?

Thank you 💓 I know some people get icked by pregnancy stuff, which is understandable, so I try to be as thoughtful as I can when I depict it. I’m happy reading you liked them!

This is an interesting question, because the parents-to-be are a doctor and someone who was born in a forest, lol … but obviously whatever Kurapika wants to do would win.

I think Kurapika would absolutely want the experience to be as close to what he remembers in his clan as possible, which probably means having the child at home. It’s likely that for the Kurta, there was a more ceremonial and sacred aspect to the event that he would want to feel connected to again.

I don’t think he’d be scared (he’s probably seen at least one childbirth before), but he definitely would feel safest and most comfortable in an environment he can control.

(but poor anxious Leorio… the hospital will be on speed-dial)

ah yes they do!! The older blonde is Azure, and the younger brunette is Strella (stray-a)! I was thinking about making character sheets for them soon : )
