If it has been asked before, my answer would have been Saki.

And it still is, but rn im having a bigger hyperfixation on Mafuyu. So my answer is both of them. Mafuyu is the one i want to throw at the wall and Saki is the one i want to also throw at the wall.

3. What do you think is a missed opportunity/something you wish was done better?

Hm... I wish PRSK would get more crunchy with MMJ and the idol industry... Well, I should revise, we do seem to be getting into some crunch about how the industry is ultimately a system with set expectations about who or what it benefits and if you are working outside the convention and have a meteoric rise that threatens the current power structure, then it will see you as a threat.

but things like child stars, the expectations regarding diet, appearance. honestly some of the most interesting stuff in mmj story to me has been Shizuku resolving things more or less with Cheerful Days when all are still active idols, in such a way that was only really possible because of the kind of person she was and is, and how she'd grown. also as an npc arisa gets to be an asshole, and that adds a dimension to the relationship with shizuku that i really love to play around in.

don't get me wrong, i love how all of them have grown, but i feel like More could have been gripped and turned over.

11. What’s a song/cover you desperately want a full version of? (can specify unit)

...i know it'll be so hard on the VAs but i'd love for the VAs to cover unknown mother goose. But other Dream covers that won't happen for a variety of reasons:

Firebird (from Bandori) covered by Leo/need and VBS. Jiena especially I think would kill it. Milky (aka friskarm here on tumblr) also suggested leoniigo neo-aspect one time we were talking about songs, which i wholeheartedly agree with.

For a vocaloid specific song... a bit a cheat but Synchronicity's three songs, shared again across groups.

honami-mafuyu: two people pleasers who lose their identity in the process of making other people happy. they don’t live for themselves. they’re surrounded by people who think they’re just “so smart and kind” and yet no one actually knows them. no one knows the desires and wishes and dreams they carry below the surface, and maybe they’re starting to forget too. they only begin speaking their minds when they’re confronted by the friends they end up making, bonded together by music.

ichika-ena: two girls with strong personalities who lose themselves over the years due to rejection after rejection. they’ve been ignored and cast aside so many times in their lives that they start to give up on life and their art. but when they start to make music with people who genuinely care about them and their passions, they slowly start down the road of regaining the livelihood they once had. one day, they’ll spring to life again, and create art that is better than ever.

shiho-mizuki: two people who are so, so alone at the beginning of the story. they begin to find comfort in that loneliness, and only start to realize that it bothers them when someone reaches out. people don’t like them, maybe they’re scared of them, maybe they just think they’re weird, but either way the treatment is the same. because of this, they’re hesitant and scared, and they don’t know if they can handle the commitment of a friendship again. they push people away, but the people who love them won’t let them leave, because they all know just how much love they have for them. they’re not always the most upfront about their emotions, but they express them in their own unique ways, and the people who care about them love them not despite this, but because of it.

saki-kanade: two characters with a connection to hospitals. they’ve been through hardships, years where they felt disconnected from the world, and considered giving up. but they pushed through, and they’re on the other side of it now. some days are harder than others, but they have a support system now. they push themselves too hard, overworking to the point of exhaustion because they have something to prove. (maybe because of this), they are at first the glue that holds their group together. they are the sun, the light peaking through, that reminds everyone that that there is hope, there is a future for them. as everyone slowly integrates into the group, and they become one whole unit, they start to fade into the background with everyone else. but it’s not a bad thing. it’s a sign that things are better now. they’re still a safe place for everyone in their group, but now instead of always trying to be the shoulder to cry on, they now recognize that sometimes they need comfort too. the friendship is stronger than ever because of it.
