Alright alright alright biggest thanks to Leonardo Batic for doing all of the research as far as I’m concerned but like... there’s absolutely so much more than that, y’all. Hold on lemme get my books.
Now, TECHNICALLY these are story books, BUT. And this is a big but. Leo did a lot of traveling and researching to really accurately portray local mythology across all of Argentina. Here’s a few shots from these three, in no particular order and by no means complete.
.... I have no idea why those two are flipped horizontally here when I see them vertical on my computer, but ANYWAY. Oh well.
I’m sure a host of other Argentinians from other provinces have a lot more information and general cultural knowledge than I do, specifically because I am, unfortunately, VERY MUCH a city girl, but.... yeah.
Now everyone say thank you, Leo. And please give me more info, I crave the local mythology knowledge and I have never known where to look for it.
That’s it, that’s all, I’m out.
EDIT: also OP I realize you’re from the North and therefore hold The Knowledge but I wanted to showcase these cool-ass books I’ve loved for well over a decade, and I figured it would also be good for non-Argies to see =3
all these scary monsters and then argentina is like.. theres this light, and its BAD
