confronted by the fact that i get a genuine mood boost from a stranger online saying "fascinating" and "interesting read" on one of my posts like i'm still chasing the validation of ap lit students like in high school...who am i kidding this goes deeper, all the way back to chasing validation from librarians when i was 5
