i would love #47 or #33 with Tangerine ! xx
This has been a long-time coming!!
May I present to you: Prompt 47 - Because everyone else left you.
Now That You're Gone
This is a pretty short one! I didn't want it to drag on too long and make it boring so I thought short and sweet would be better. CW: Mentions of death, alcoholism, abandonment, difficult childhood Tangerine x Reader (no specific gender) 800 words
Tangerine's life had always been difficult.
His father left when him and Lemon were only 4. His mother died from complications after an overdose a year later. The boys were passed from foster home to foster home, no one wanting to keep them. When they turned 18, they were kicked out of their final foster home, having only been there for a couple of months.
Tangerine had had girlfriends, none of which lasted; they couldn't stand his temper. Then when he started doing jobs with Lemon, he couldn't keep anything long-term with the secrecy of his line of work.
The only people he had left were you and Lemon. But, because you did the same kind of work the twins did, you were mostly in separate countries. So that left Lemon.
They went to Japan early for their job so they could squeeze a holiday into it. Lemon loved bubble tea, so they visited as many cafes as they could before their job to retrieve the White Death's son and the ransom money. The minute they stepped on that train they were doomed.
Lemon wasn't wearing his bulletproof vest, taking it off because "they give you a false sense of security, what if you got shot in the neck?"
Tangerine had argued, but it wouldn't change Lemon's mind, so he stopped trying.
Why Tangerine thought it would be a good idea for them to split up, he didn't know. Yes, they could cover more ground faster, but they were a team. They came as a pair and they had each other's backs.
So, when Tangerine found Lemon laying dead in the train toilet, two bullet holes in his chest, he blamed himself. He couldn't breathe. His whole world had come to a standstill. The one person he had left that was always by his side, had left him.
With the little strength he had left, Tangerine got his revenge on the Prince, avenging his brother and the torture that they both went through on that train. As he stood by the Prince's lifeless body, Tangerine called you telling you to meet him at the safehouse in London. He couldn't tell you the news over the phone, Lemon was your best friend. You always watched Thomas with him. How were you supposed to watch it now?
As soon as the train pulled into the next station, Tangerine fled the station and got on the first flight he could manage, trying to leave no tracks for the White Death to follow.
Not that he cared much anymore, anyway. He was nothing with Lemon. He didn't have anyone. He wouldn't be able to go on jobs anymore and he couldn't join you; you liked the subtle approach and he was very much a 'going in guns blazing' kind of guy.
You were waiting in the safehouse when Tangerine softly closed the front door, his movements slow and shaky. As soon as he turned around to face you, you knew something wasn't right.
"Tan? Where's Lemon?" You had a bad feeling.
Tangerine couldn't answer for fear of breaking down. So, he looked you in the eyes and shook his head, and you knew. Lemon wasn't coming back. Tangerine didn't even get to say a real goodbye. Neither did you. You hadn't seen Lemon in months, but you couldn't make this about you. Not right now. Tangerine had just lost his brother.
You took Tangerine to his room and told him to get changed and get into bed, "I'm making you a cup of tea." You said before you left him to get settled.
You and Tangerine were never close. He was abrupt, he was snappy and an all-round arse most of the time. But you knew how much he loved his brother. A love that would never die and could never be matched.
When you went back with his tea, Tangerine was sitting up, back leaning against the headboard. He stared past you as you walked further into the room. With a gentle touch to his shoulder, you got his attention.
You handed the mug to Tangerine and left him to process things while he was in a space he knew he was safe and comfortable. Coming back half an hour later, the mug was empty and placed on the bedside table, Tangerine lying on his back with his eyes wide open.
You walked up to the bed, now in your pyjmas, and climbed in next to him. You shuffled down until your head was on the pillow and put your arm around Tangerine, pulling him to your chest.
He gave you a questionable look, this was very out of character for your relationship, "why are you-?"
"Because everyone else left you."
And that night, you held Tangerine until he fell into deep sleep.
#bullet train#bullet train 2022#tangerine and lemon#bullet train tangerine#tangerine x reader#i need to stop only writing tangerine fics

The term “cake” has a long history. The ancient Greeks word plakous, which was derived from the word for “flat”. It was baked using flour mixed with eggs, milk, nuts and honey. In ancient Rome, the basic bread dough was sometimes enriched with butter, eggs and honey , which produced a sweet and cake-like baked good.
Early cakes in England were also essentially bread, the most obvious difference between a “cake and “bread” were the round, flat shape of the cakes, and the cooking method. Which turned cakes over once while cooking, while bread was left upright throughout the baking process that is assisted by India cakes .
Sponge cakes, leavened with beaten eggs, originated during the renaissance, possibly in Spain.
As our new research reveals, life’s too short to not eat cake! It’s great to see the variety of different taste preference across the world and which cake id identified as a nation’s favorite.Whether people are searching for recipes, where to purchase different cakes, or a cake’s origin, one thing is for certain; these statistics reveal we are a world of curious cake lovers.

hello enderwalk arg people
so i saw a cool thread from @/ranbeans on twitter and it inspired me. so naturally i spent five hours straight analyzing ranboo’s lore playlist
basically i think it’s a timeline of c!ranboo’s life, and it fits kind of eerily
everything’s below the cut (and it’s a lot) :]
prologue from starkid
- more clock references. it’s literally just an instrumental of a clock ticking
- instantly you think of the ender text in that pic he tweeted. like that, this could relate to dream’s clock, or foolish’s clock (reading 10:33 always iirc)
- note that butler in tales from the smp: masquerade kept staring at a clock
- it could also mean a theme of running out of time, or fighting with time
- in the thread i linked, the person also points out that there are 23 clock ticks in prologue, and angel number 23 means that you are meant to be a servant
- this would be his beginning
introduction to the snow by miracle musical
- the first of many songs from the hawaii: part ii album on this playlist
- i’ve seen that album described as an arg and i find it funny if ranboo just went no. my arg now
- introduction to the snow only has one verse, and the rest is instrumental
- the whole hawaii album has themes of loneliness and death, especially loneliness for this song
- it talks about feeling isolated, which gives hints about his childhood maybe?
- the “you’ll live forever tonight” lyric also gives off a hopeful vibe, like that of a child
dream sweet in sea major by miracle musical
- starts with a changed reprise of introduction to the snow
- "Rather than trying to “live forever”, it seems that the time has come for something else" from the analysis of the first part in genius
- odd because this song is meant as a finale to the album, but it's towards the beginning of the playlist (could mean that there was almost an ending of sorts early on for c!ranboo, like a near death experience?)
turn the lights off by tally hall
- okay this one confused me when i was first going through, but when the timeline started coming together it made more sense
- about adolescence, and being uncomfortable with growing up, so it fits with the timeline playlist theory
- also about phobias and stuff like that in a way?? hm
the mind electric by miracle musical
- the song starts out in reverse, then plays the stuff from the beginning normally
- feels like a rls honestly i wish he could use this song
- it's about someone put in an infirmary and condemned to electroshock therapy because they're insane. fun
- this is where the timeline started to come together in a way. as soon as i saw the mood get darker i remembered ranboo’s line from the festival i think? “don’t let it happen again” or something like that
- because of this, if the timeline theory is true, at some point before he joined the dream smp he did something which caused him to be condemned
- also this
- the mind electric isn’t the only song where the narrator glorifies themself in a way, we’ll get into this later
- also the rejecting fanatical views,, i am thinking about that theory that endermen are servants to the ender dragon. if c!ranboo rejected that, the consequences could have been awful
live and let die by paul mccartney
- if i wasn’t sold on the timeline theory before, i am now. after the mind electric, the mood changes drastically in terms of ideology and theme
- this specifically made me say “holy shit” because like. that verse means that when you’re young, you’re open minded and say “live and let live” which resembles the optimistic but lonely attitude of the beginning of the playlist
- but then when the world fucks you over, you begin to say “live and let die.”
- “live and let die” i take to mean as him no longer caring about the people around him. how before, he wanted to help others, but then the mind electric happened, and he just. stopped caring
- fun right!! /s
ruler of everything by tally hall
- there are so many clock and time references in this. we get it
- "mechanical hands" when it says “mechanical hands are the ruler of everything” refer to hands on a clock, saying how time rules over everything
- the narrator is talking back and forth with time itself in this, which is interesting because i believe he joins the dream smp in the next song
- the narrator appears very insecure and looking for a quick way to appeal to everyone (like how c!ranboo at the beginning was trying to be everyone's friend)
- this is the second song with the narrator glorifying themself out of insecurity. what are you trying to tell us about your character buddy
- also we can’t ignore this shit
- i don’t need to explain why this scared me right. right
merry go round of life from howl’s moving castle
- this is a change huh
- god i haven’t seen this movie in years, but i saw looking it up that it plays at the beginning introducing the main character, sophie
- this is before everything changed for her
- maybe this is when he joins dream smp? and ruler of everything is him talking to dream prior?
- or maybe im reaching who the fuck knows
- but him joining dream smp to this song would make sense. it feels like a clean slate and starting over, which would match with how he doesn’t. y’know. remember things
- which begs the question: if ranboo forgot everything from before this song in the timeline, and after that i’m assuming his memory issues started,, what happened to cause this?
- i’d say the mind electric could have caused this, but it was awhile back in the playlist. so whoever he’s talking to in ruler of everything, which could very well be dream, i believe messed with his memory somehow.
killer queen by queen
- c!ranboo girlboss arc canon??
- i got lost here ngl. it has a very specific vibe that doesn’t match well with what i know of c!ranboo im sorry
- but two songs later, i get a hint kind of which makes me believe this could be him burning george’s house with tommy
- also this song is a banger and i’m pretty sure he put it on there to scare the crown arg people because of the “baroness” line /j
mr. bad guy by freddie mercury
- literally just more funky villain vibes. i love this
- no more angst only girlboss
- since cc!ranboo has said he doesn't want to do a villain arc, i take this to maybe be how he sees himself?? credit to the crown arg discord for that idea they’re smart and cool
- if that is true, i’d say this would be another song for the “glorifying oneself out of insecurity” list because the narrator is like. seeing himself as cool and The Bad Guy, even if he might not be
- possibly the butcher army if the next song is what i think it is
ain’t no rest for the wicked by cage the elephant
- i have been informed someone saw ranboo listening to and grabbing songs for this off of a playlist called "my villain arc" king i hate you /lh
- in seriousness: the song is about how the world forces people into wicked roles for money. i am getting live and let die vibes, like how both blame the world for making them not care/do bad things
- c!ranboo take responsibility for your actions challenge /j
- this definitely reminds me of how when he gave techno his armor, he blamed it on peer pressure. if this aligns with that event, the last two would be burning george’s house and butcher army i think
i can’t decide by the scissor sisters
- this is probably about enderwalk
- i really hope it's about enderwalk
- did mr ranboo commit murder?? manslaughter?? sir
- i really feel like this is enderwalk or ive forgotten something
stardust crusaders from jjba
- thank god for jjba fans, i know nothing about this
- apparently this is the main theme for jotaro, who's power i think?? is like moving faster than time
- and his main villain thing is dio, who's power is stopping the flow of time
- and we're back with the fuckin time references
- this is pure speculation at this point, but maybe it’s like. him fighting against time in a way, which would draw back to ruler of everything
a mask of my own face by lemon demon
- the song is about not wanting to take responsibility for their actions again
- c!ranboo i am begging
- specifically this lyric
- also this lyric draws back to the bidding, in which the singer wanted to be enough for someone and showed almost narcissism as a sort of "mask"
- also just. mask can be correlated with dream or the masquerade, where the butler stared at the clocks
stranded lullaby by miracle musical
- been awhile since we had a hawaii album song huh
- and,, a memory reference.
- that lyric is talking about forgetting things
- the rest of the song is,, im not saying time traveler ranboo but time traveler ranboo (look at this post about that theory by my friend pspspspsp)
- he's talking to a "you" this whole time, and i have no idea who it is lmao
- there are mentions of dreams and stuff throughout, so i almost want to associate it with the prison visit, but then i think the next song is after the festival so i guess not?
- might also be him losing the memory book
hidden in the sand by tally hall
- this is, lyrics wise, a song about a man whose girlfriend left him for someone else and he's upset
- but if you look at the music video, it shows a cruise ship, on which people are friendly with each other at first, but when it starts to sink, they turn on each other trying to escape
- i am feeling a connection to c!ranboo's views on "choose people not sides" somehow
- i feel like he's called people selfish in lore, but my friends and i are all ranboo kinnies so we cant fuckin remember. if he has, then yeaH this definitely correlates
now i’m here by queen
- there's a very optimistic and nostalgic tone to this
- this one’s barely annotated on genius so i don’t have a lot for it, but i feel like it's after the dream voice disappeared or something? timeline's gettin a little funky
- it could also be right before the festival, as he used optimism as a shield there
& by tally hall
- this. yeah. & deals with opposites, especially good and evil. the singer talks about how everyone sees the world from their own perspective and doesn't look from another
- and that definitely ties back to how ranboo wanted l’manburg people, like tubbo, to see from techno’s perspective
- i feel like this is right after the festival. it resembles a lot of ranboo's speech from then, where he basically told everyone “sides dumb. just vibe”
- and then the outro changes tone, almost like a warning?? which. yeah. a warning to choose people not sides before doomsday, or else they won’t be able to stop l’manburg from being blown up
i’m gonna win by rob cantor
- this song is about someone fighting their inner demons
- sounds familiar!! looks directly at dream voice
- specifically, the singer is optimistic about winning their fight with the inner demons
- it seems kind of chilling to me though, but it's also late at night when i’m doing these notes so it may just be me
- if the timeline theory is true, this is where c!ranboo is mentally atm, which tracks honestly
=), an unplayable track
- ranboo why do you hate us
tl;dr: ranboo’s songs that he would use for lore playlist might very well be a timeline of c!ranboo’s life, from even before dream smp and that’d be super cool
if you read all the way through this just know i would die for you
anyways feel free to drop your interpretations of the songs in the notes :0
#salem.txt#enderwalk arg#ranboo#mcyt#arg#dream smp#holy shit i spent like 5-6 hours on this#also some of this may be reaching because i am sick and also wrote half of this late at night JSKJBSKJS#i really hope i didnt forget anything lmao

Bringing a World of Adventure Hunting in to Your Home
Not everyone is not living in a position to wander the woods, desert, beach or ruins. I had that situation at one point in my life. And yes its depressing. And when you read others doing all these things its can really get to you. However there are a huge number of things yo CAN do to counteract the depression. Lets visit a good many of these things:
1) Everyone’s first Go-to is Roleplaying. Be its table-top or online. But not all Online games bring out the true desire to adventure, as they are limited to telling a specific story. As such I suggest avoiding using game maps and make you own real maps. Right down and study any runes in the game, study the magic tech in the game, write side stories of your character that can not be done in game. Create a history to the character you made. Some games are limited what you character looks like. Draw your own character and hang it by your game station.
2) If you have adventure wear, wear it about the house/apartment. Does not have to be all of it. Boots, a shirt, a vest, tunic, wristbands, cloak
3) If you have the money and talent turn kitchen into a tavern or saloon, line shelfs with bottles and plates and other tavern/saloon wear. Avoid cheese props. Study movie sets and get ideas from that.
4) Likewise turn your bedroom into an Inn room. Go ristic and simple with natural colors and materials
5) Burn in a cauldron or censor wood chips, herbs and incense,
6) Hang posters of nature about the walls in natural wood frames. If you can obtain some old wood window frames, you that as your poster frames. If possible find images of nature on line and print them out. Try to make all the images co-inside, so its looks like you are looking out into the same view. Change the posters with the seasons if possible
7) Place realistic life-size animals about your home: Snake, turtle, mice, birds, chipmunks, insects. If you have a ficus tree or a cluster of plants, place a birds nest with eggs in it
8) Play sound effects and ambient sounds in the house. Youtibe and other sites have a plethora of ambiance and sounds from cave to camp sites, tavern sounds, market squares, pirate ships, forests
9) Add a fountain/s in your home. Fountain pumps can be bought anywhere these days,
10) Terrariums! Make them and add them to your home. Even of the plants are fake
11) Aquariums! If your adventurous aestheic love is the see or any water setting like ponds, these are fantastic to have. And do not limit yourself to just fish: Crabs, snails, turtles, frogs, lizards, snakes. Even if you are not allowed to have pes, build an aquarium anywhere. The flow of the water from the filtar moving the plants can lend to the imagination
12) Wood, tin and copper and wrought iron objects
13) Leather bound books. Line a shelf with them,
14) Candles and lanterns. Some people can not have things where they live for safety mode. Even if you never burn them, have a cluster of candles anyway. Just the look of lanterns and candles plays with the mind. You can also invest in battery ones but I think they are silly looking
15) Bowls of fruit: Wood bowls and real fruits and nuts about the house.
16) Seasonal and year round garlands and wreaths about the house. Clusters of ferns. If you do not have a green thumb, go fake if need be. Ferns and spider plans are my fave.
17) Drift wood and moss covered wood.
18) If you have your own Adventure clothes and gear do not bury it in a closet. Get a mannequin and display it,
19) Fur, leather, blankets, wool, sheepskin throws and pillows.
20) Banners and tapestries
21) Invest in a couple of mortar & pestle sets, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom is you have the room. (Confession: I collect them)
22) Hang herbs and dry plants in the kitchen.
23) Clay pots and assorted pottery about the house. Try to sick with OLD looking styles. Check out some sites or books on ancient styles for an idea
24) Antlers add a wonderful feel to ambience. Even if fake. Now they are made into door handles, draw knobs and so much more. (DO NO go hung deer and elk JUST for their racks)
25) Bowls and vases of snail shells, acorns, pine cones,
26) Rolls and displays of maps,
17) Glass and Ceramic bottles: Display a few or better yet, use them! fill them with shampoos, liquid soaps, drinks and what ever else you use and look at daily
18) Old style dip pens and ink vials on your desk along with scrolls of parchment and an old leather bound journal,
19) Color glass baubles like the ones at christmas time and “witch balls” These are great if your Aesthetic is the sea or in the Witchy profession,
20) Wood wand display. Not talking about Harry Potter here. Do a little reserach and find or make a REAL one. Display it on your desk or mantle staff. If you have a set, even better.
21) A Statue of an ancient god,
22) Baskets and wicker to hold things
23) Metal goblets and drinking horns
24) If you have one or several hand your shields on the walls,
25) Oil hurricane lamps,
24) Hang and display Gourds about. If you know how to carve and stain gourds, all the better,
25) Birds houses. In the house?? Sure, why not?
26) Feathers. Sometimes just a vase of ling feathers helps. If they are feathers you find in your walks, just as better. Each one has a story
28) Bowls of rocks. Not only does this bring the natural world in but its said that a bowl of rocks by the door and window wards off negativity.
29) Old wood boxes. Just do not collect them but USE them. put whatever in them as storage. Afraid you will forget what’s in it??? All the better. There is your treasure at the end of your search.
30) Corn dollies. These folk cultural dolls and designs have their roots into the ancient world. a display of them, especially during the late summer, really invokes the harvest season
31) Ceramic and wood bake ware in the kitchen. Ads a rustic tavern feel. This could include bread boards and bowls, wood spoons, rolling pins,
32) Replace DVD covers with parchment or wood texture covers. Sometimes a wall of game and DVD cases can kill an ambiance you are striving for. If you can not print out all these coves, hang a tapestry over your shelf unit or add wood shutter doors
33) Cover your library of bright color books with leather, paper of plether, No access to leather? See of someone has an old leather jacket they are ditching you can cut up
34) Wood flutes, harps, ocarinas, pan pips, lyres and rustic drums add to a great tavern-ish display.
35) A tall vase of cattails gives ambiance for this that over adventures in places like rivers and lakes,
36) If you have a collection of crystals, sea glass and gemstones, show them off in a wood box or basket,
37) Halloween Witch bottles add to the adventure appel. (I have a buhnch and have all my teas in them,
38) Fancy yourself an Librarian or treasure seeker? Have a display of “artifacts” like (potters, tiles, scales, bones, glass, wood), Find some broken pottery shards and make them look like Greek pottery. If you sculpt make a remnant of a state or a bone or prehistoric tooth. Create your own artifacts and put stories to them.
39) Hang a bunch of leather sachets and small bags from a hook or sit them on a shelf,
40) Find yourself a rustic tea set,
41) Collect vintage clay and wood tops. Tops have been around since ancient Assyria and Babylon.
42) Display a collection of carving tools or depending on your likes, a small anvil and hammer,
43) Hand on hoots of rack by your door or wall woven wicker hats, leather caps and witch/witch hat, head wreaths,
44) Display an old stick/straw/grass broom head wreaths,
45) Display a helm or helmet you have in a place that speaks “I am at the ready”
46) Fold a small stack of old burlap bags and place on a shelf and use them to store things like potatoes and onions,
47) Display and basket of wood knitting needles and wool,
48) Grow plants, flowers, herbs and small trees. Even small pots of just grass adds a sense of nature and Adventure (The ancient Greeks would grow grass for their New Years Eve celebration) I have lemon trees in my windows I grew from seeds.
49) A Fish Net works great to add an aesthetic look to your space.
50) If nothing more find an artist and have him/her draw your aesthetic self as you see yourself in different poses, gear and situations. Blow thing up power size and hang them about your space
51) If you can not do any of this, create a physical scrap book of pictures and images that’s screams your aesthetic ideals. Visit it daily and add to it.
NOTE: While all these ideas are great starts, DO NOT over do it. Less is more. Rustic and simple. Avoid cheesy plastic props and things like signs screaming “I am a Proud Viking!” Investigate films, movies and history into your aesthetic loves and the world behind it. Do not create clutter. Make you space livable and function to your NEEDS. Make you space your home, not a museum. If your space is cluttered and does not bring you a feel of your Aesthetic feelings you may need to pull back on some of your props.

You wouldn't be the first renegade to need somebody Is it insensitive for me to say "Get your shit together so I can love you?" Is it really your anxiety that stops you from giving me everything? Or do you just not want to? ... You fire off missiles ’cause you hate yourself But do you know you're demolishing me? And then you squeeze my hand as I'm about to leave
30. Happier Than Ever - Billie Eilish

---
Oh, I wish that you hadn't pulled the trigger Shot me down with my bitter heart

So please hurry leave me I can't breathe Please don't say you love me
36. Deep End - Birdy
Ooh, how do we mend? Ooh, I didn't choose to depend on you It's out of our hands Maybe it will work out in the end I don't know if you mean everything to me And I wonder, can I give you what you need? Don't want to find I've lost it all Too scared to have no one to call So can we just pretend?
37. And the Boys - Angus and Julia Stone
Well, it's been days now And you've changed your mind again All the cracks in the walls Reminds you of things we said And I could tell you That I won't hurt you this time But it's just safer To keep you in this heart of mine
38. Strange - Celeste
I am still me You are still you In the same place Isn't it strange? How people can change From strangers to friends Friends into lovers And strangers again
39. The Cut that Always Bleeds - Conan Gray
To say you loved me all along And kissed the bruises 'til they're gone Bittersweet, 'cause I can't breathe Inside your arms
'Cause if you're gonna leave Better leave, better do it fast Can't live another minute Bleeding from my back 'Cause I don't have another one For you to stab And I don't want to have Another heart attack
---
But even though you're killing me I, I need you like the air I breathe I need, I need you more than me I need you more than anything Please, please
40. James - Maggie Rogers
"Too young, too thoughtless, " I said to myself With idealistic visions all perched on the shelf And I'm still hoping, waiting for you to come home
---
Maybe you're in love or hung up on another And maybe you found a far prettier lover And maybe you'll paint her a picture like you did for me
41. Cry- Cigarettes After Sex
But I need to tell you something My heart just can't be faithful for long I swear I'll only make you cry
Maybe I'd change for you someday But I can't help the way I feel Wish I was good, wish that I could Give you my love now

Pantheon of Influence
The fate that awaits Elizabeth as the daughter of a media entrepreneur turns out to be a heavy burden. Left with an Empire of «old fashioned» media, that is on the edge of abyss. (…) times change and the Empire is no longer what it was. [1] The newspaper of the day, fashion, both go out of fashion, the news quickly becomes outdated. [2] The heritage in danger, it requires an effort to adapt to the changing conditions. She (…)felt a thread of a sense of personal responsibility associated with the deep, deep fear of loss. [1]
The solution for preserving new media culture lies not in attempting to circumvent its variability with outdated notions of fixity, but rather in embracing the essential nature of the medium and transforming its greatest challenge into a defense against obsolescence. [3] While “old” media such as print, film, and television traffic in immaterial representations that can be reproduced endlessly for any number of viewers, the interactivity of “new” media draws it closer to live performance. [4] As the secular empire faded, a new idea of spiritual domination that had been growing quietly and slowly in seclusion slipped into the great house of the dying world giant. [5] Moreover, the motive behind the writing of history was not objective curiosity, but a desire to influence contemporaries, to stimulate and uplift them, or to hold a mirror up to them. [6]
The new Brand of Elizabeth Murdoch stands above the chaotic noise of information and
media. From the elevated platform vision is unobstructed. [7] At that height one could look into the top rooms from the elevated pathway. [8]
In all of these media we see a number of consistent patterns. [9]
That assemblage is the “ megamachine,” or the apparatus of capture, the archaic empire. [10] (…) Elizabeth always tried to talk as though there were lots of people in it with her. [1] Her new brand is not defined by its clear agenda but the appropriation of viral phenomenons. Consisting of Influencers, attracted by their striving for fame and recognition.
The gods have entered the “cultivated” world; they no longer speak through the moving figures of animals and natural elements but through those of a sedentary pantheon that takes charge of society and supports the activity of transforming the world. [11] The image (…) shifted from social crusader and aesthetic puritan to trendsetter and media star. [12] But they somehow function together in structuring the social life process, as complementary media, each with its own specific affordances and limitations. [13] The crowd, a compact mass, a locus of multiple exchanges, individualities merging together, a collective effect, is abolished and replaced by a collection of separated individualities. [14] The media become the messengers, rather than the message. [15] The type of frame used to present information dramatically affects how people make decisions and judgments, and is consequently a powerful influencer of behaviour. [16]
Therefore, this new type of Pantheon is created by Elizabeth. Gathering selected contemporary influencers under her roof.
Influencers such as: Owners of different Media outlets, Presidents like Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, modern industrialist entrepreneur like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates. [17] very bright people, like Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk. [18] CEO of Social media Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Search engines Sundai Pichai, Environmental activists like Greta Thunberg, Sport Stars like Roger Federer or Cristiano Ronaldo, Or trash media stars like the Kardashians.
The overall effect of the display (…) is create an exotic display; a sort of cabinet of curiosities. [19]Contradicting and supplementing each other. Her palace a place to collect them all.
The facade was well constructed, composed of bricks, glass walls and windows. [20] The field of glass bricks is ordered in a raster of a thin solid framework made of white granite with black frames and stripes indicating the main direction. [21]
Hall of Fame
The entrance was discreet, with a rounded metal railing. [22] Leading into the Hall of Fame. Inside, you confront a wall of glass bricks set in concrete in a black steel frame at the back of a standard Paris type courtyard, with two steel ladders flying up on either side, and some massive floodlamps carried on clever steel brackets. [23] Self reconfiguring building skins (…)filter both urban noise and airborne toxins.[24] Creating a place which was quiet, well lit (…). [25] Only selected and high-quality materials are used. The atmosphere was perfect, the moment sweet for something sacred. [26]
It’s is the Place Elizabeth welcomes her guests. Start with a house cocktail—say, L’Alsacien, in which the aperitif Belle de Brillet meets cognac, pear, and fresh lemon in a happy union. [27] Everyone shouts and has an alcoholic smile(…) A French aperitif is taken when you are seated around a table. There are two, three, four persons. You have chosen your companions. You drink slowly. [28]
Chamber of Feasts
In the dining room, meals were served family style at long tables that could seat 150 guests. [29] Only the finest dishes made by world class chefs are served. This dinner the place for debate and disputes. This performance, itself enough to win great fame,(…) [30] It resembles a Sensation drama: play that intends to create strong effects. [31] Harmony and dissonance of ideas create a rough and interesting music. [32] The principal requirements of a summer dining room are water and greenery; of a winter one, the warmth of a hearth.[33] Both should preferably be spacious, cheery, and splendid. [33] For this reason, distribute more spacious intercolumniations around the performance space. [34] (…) the walls of the ceremonial chamber were covered with purple tapestries embroidered in gold, specially made for this feast. [5]
Oracle of Artificial Intelligent
In the middle, as in the center of a house, there is an Capsule, roofed, spacious, and majestic; (…) their lineaments taken from the Etruscan temple, as we have described it. [33] Enter the oracle. [35] Intensifying the color, lights, and excitement of Broadway by translating the commercial message into form and color, a wordless interpretation of New York. [33] The “Oracle (…)” presented a head that seemed to float in space. [36] Commercial constructions such as Apple’s Siri and more recently Microsoft’s Cortana are quite literal but archetypal examples of “the guide” or “concierge,” elsewhere manifested as the guide, oracle, or personal secretary. [37] There is no knowing how far a real image may lead: the importance of becoming visionary or seer. [38] Is it Illusionism, confusion, or manipulation? [39]
Paris
Paris. [40] Facing Notre Dame, a church for one god. In close Proximity to the existing Panthéon, a symbol of glory and a burial place of famous French personalities.
Elizabeth's palace does not require the physical size of those buildings of past times. It is not dependent on its rigidity but flexibility to accomodate as much power as possible. In the digital age, power is no longer seen through its built image in stone, but through the power of those present. The once powerful institutions have lost their power. Today, the influence changes rapidly from person to person, from ideology to ideology, from institution to institution.
Elizabeth's pantheon is a machine to capture those all new and constantly changing influence.

DELTARUNE
So, there are plenty of allusions/paralles to Undertale in Deltarune and some easter eggs. I’ve made a list of the ones that I managed to find/catch. I’m pretty sure there are more of them.
1. There is an easter egg with naming your vessel and yourself. Like in Undertale using names of characters from the game will trigger a special dialogue (and like in Undertale naming your vessel or yourself “Gaster” will close the game).
2. When you look through the window in your room there is reference to Sans’ genocide fight.
3. A reference to Tsundere Cactus from Undertale, but in Deltarune it’s just an average cactus.
4. Recognizing yourself in the mirror.
5. Toriel hugs Kris almost the same way she hugs Frisk.
6. Alphys is still a weeaboo obsessed with Mew Mew ^^
7. Temmie still has the EG, but this time she is a partner not a proud parent.
8. If you try using your phone in the Dark World it will start making “Gaster noises”.
9. Ralsei’s cloak resembels the one that River Person wears (could River Person be a Darkner?)
10. Lancer’s bike might be a reference to Sans’ bike from the True Pacifist credit scene.
11. How Ralsei introduces us to the game mechanics is like a combination of both Flowey’s and Toriel’s tutorials. Telling what a soul is and how the fighting works is “Flowey’s part” and usage of Dummy and sparing being a preferable option is “Toriel’s part”.
12. Possibly a parallel to comforting a goatbro (Ralsei is a Goat/Boss Monster and a prince just like Asriel).
13. The shopkeepr hints a secret battle with Jevil in the early stage of the game.
15. The plush that Seam has on a shelf has is a reference to one of the Temmie Chang’s (she helped Toby create Undertale) characters, but I couldn’t find a picture of it.
16. Seam also gives us hints that Jevil knows Gaster. Here’s a video with a full dialogue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PukI_JTyVg
17. The crown that K. Round wears might be reference to Super Crown, but the way it works is a ref to the big shroom power up. The sound that K. Round makes while growing up and shrinking is very similar to the sound from Mario games.
18. It is surely a reference to Sans’ room door (the weird glow), but it may also have something to do with Gaster’s grey door.
19. The sequence that Lancer and Susie perform is possibly a reference to Team R’s sequence from Pokemon series.
20. Possibly an Undertale Yellow easter egg? (the main charater is named Clover in UT:Y)
21. Even if you got rid of that tree you can still interact with it and get the dialogie box.
22. Lancer misses his attacks on Susie the same way Toriel does that when Frisk has low HP.
23. The theme that plays on floor ?????? inside the Card Castle uses the leitmotif of Gaster’s Theme. (can’t find a link with the theme)
24. A reference to Patrick from cartoon “Spongebob Squarepants”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNZSXnrbs_k
25. Another Pokemon’s reference.
26. You can interact with these pictures, when you interact with all 3 of them they’ll make a splat noise. I’m not sure if it does anything else.
27. Lancer has the same weird pics in his room, you can interact with them too, but they won’t make splat noise. But on the other hand there are CDs with recorded splat noises (the same that 3 previous pics make).
28. She talks about the cake that Susie ate ealier.
29. A missing pixel lmao
30. The cards and chess are references to the enemies from Dark World. There’s also a plushie of Shopkeer Seam under the board.
31. Kris looks similar to unused Frisk sprite.
32. The word “library” is still misspelled.
33. Temmie still wants to go to colleg. That’s the spirit!
34. Apparently Alphys prefers Mew Mew 2 now.
35. Heats Flamesman reference.
36. Just Toby at work.
37. He’s slacking off however.
38. We finally know after which monster Gaster Follower 3 was modeled.
39. Deltarune is definitely a different universe/timeline, cause Undyne doesn’t know Alphys and she still has both eyes. Also Bratty and Catty not only barely know each other, but they hate each other as well (in Undertale they are best friends).
40. On the left - dude who bought Muffet’s donut and regreted that later on, on the right - that weirdo from Napstablook’s snail farm.
41. Police station and Undyne’s house share the same doormat.
42. The big mouth monster that was spending time at Grillby’s, also a possible reference to nurse Joy from Pokemon series.
43. A reference to the absurdly tall sink from skelebros’ house. (also that blue bear might be inspired by 5.0.5 from Villainous)
44. Gerson is dead in Deltarune, also his last name is Boom. The hammer on his tombstone refers to his “nickname from war times” from Undertale - Hammer of Justice.
45. The tombstones of monster who were amalgamates in original Undertale, but since in Deltarune Alphys was never a Royal Scientist, all of this monsters just died. From left to right - Snowdrake’s Mother, the dog (Endogeny), Shyren sister (Lemon Bread).
46. Hand Receptionist from MTT Resort and politics bear from Snowdin.
47. That weird cube-dog-like monster from Sans’ crossword.
48. A reference to Purple Guy from game series FNAF (in Deltarune Burgerpants works at Pizzeria after all, hello?! it must be it xD).
49. A bunny shopkeepr from Snowdin, the guy who works in Core, the Ice Wolf (and he finally has pants as he wanted), Fuku Fire and Skateboard girl (but they already graduated), the lion monster who is a fan of Mettaton and gets a dress from him after his musical, and the dragon dude who couldn’t return to his family cause the elevator at MTT Resort was turned off.
50. Sans’ store is literally Grillby’s bar, but the name “Grillby” was removed and Sans added “ans” to the letter “S”. But he didn’t remove apostrophe. Well done Sans, well done.
51. A reference to Spider-Man, “I’m your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man”. Sans even calls Kris “tiger” which is how MJ calls Peter (I forgot to make a screenshot of it tho).
52. F#ck you Sans xD
53. “trousle of bones” - it obviously refers to Papyrus’ theme Bonetrousle.
54. Little bunny in the window is a child of that bunny monster who runs Snowdin Inn.
55. A monster from Snowdin who loves knocks lives there. And apparently Kris is not as good at knocking as Frisk is.
56. In the alley where you meet Alphys again there is a painting of Everyman (attack of Reaper Bird - one of the amalgamates). You can’t escape from your sins Alphys, even in another universe/timeline.
57. Asgore’s introduction dialogue in Deltarune is literally the same as in Undertale.
58. These flowers are an obvious allusion/parallel to the souls containers. The golden flower in the middle might be representing the empty container for Frisk’s determination soul. If you remember, in Undertale Alphys used a golden flower as a empty vessel to inject determination and that flower became Flowey later on.
59. RG01 and RG02 are still together, and for some reason they are still wearing helmets even tho the Royal Guard is most likely not a thing in Deltarune xD
60. If you wait long enough by the lake Onionsan will appear. He will ask what’s our name and will want to become friends. He also doesn’t remember his own name due to being alone for too long, so we have an option to gave him one.
61. He also might have a dark secret hehe
62. So there is most likely Mettaton, but we have no idea what’s up with Blooky. I’m hoping that in chapter 2 we will find out Mettaton’s canon ghost form and maybe his real name. Also I doubt that in Deltarune Mettaton has machine body, since Alphys never was a Royal Scientist in this universe/timeline.
63. Chara possession much? also a hint to the ending of Deltarune chapter 1
64. After Kris locks his soul in the cage you can still move it, but you can’t escape.
65. The glowing red eyes, Post Genocide Pacifist vibes are strong in this one.
These are all the allusions/parallel and easter eggs I was able to find. I’m sure there are more. Also there are some that I forgot to screenshot such as “characters titles” in party menu change: - Kris has a title of Leader, but if you check all 4 beds in Card Castle he has a title of Bed Inspector - Ralsei title changes after giving him different scarf There’s also at least one Annoying Dog easter egg in the party menu. Not to mention the anagrams: Deltarune - Undertale Ralsei - Asriel So yeah, that’s all folks. Hope you enjoyed, bye!

Do all the dnd asks!
1. A favorite character you have played.
done!
2. Your favorite character that someone else has played.
o my god.. this is so hard, my group makes really good characters! for each of them:zach - nickels!! trauma child kenku weirdo who sold their soul to talk.. who grew up to be an angry pirate who adopted a child on impulse.ari - lael, obviously. they have a half-elf complex, a good chunk of their personality is being the kid that catches lizards, and they have a robot arm.lemon - honestly? jj devinyl. i mean, john mulaney as a tiefling cleric who loves his wife and is also going completely insane? yeah.bree - i.. love layla. she’s a good-aligned cleric to an evil god and her and kellan are the cutest couple in dnd tbh.connor - guardian is a robot.
3. Your favorite side quest.
o fuck!! y’all.. it’s bufo. it’s the fact that my talking toad npc was so lovable that they unlocked the quest in which his mother hunts him down and tries to kill him so that she can live forever. they killed her ofc and bufo was untransformed into a handsome.. halfling.
4. Your current campaign.
i’m running a murder mystery set aboard an airship! with strong cosmic horror elements! and i’m playing in a large-scale epic about spies caught up in the very start of a continent-wide war.
5. Favorite NPC.
also a very hard question. on one hand, jean is my actual boyfriend and also a literal angel assassin. on the other hand, nika is a child god trapped in an amulet whose super god power makes people trip which is so fucking funny. back around to the first hand, which is now the third, aengus is so well-done as a villain that he’s almost scared me in my real-life actual heart and yet he’s an a huge loser with breakup trauma, which is objectively also so fucking funny. on my fourth hand, fela is my most important npc who i’m probably in love with and she’s been in every one of my campaigns. on my FIFTH hand--
6. Favorite death (monster, player character, NPC, etc).
done!
7. Your favorite downtime activity.
done!
8. Your favorite fight/encounter.
that time nasuada beat lumley up in her own dumb-ass head, and lumley’s response was to find this super hot.
9. Your favorite thing about D&D.
getting together and spending time with my friends! or maybe that it lets me be creative without the stress writing gives me.
10. Your favorite enemy and the enemy you hate the most.
fav enemy is def aengus!! like wow he’s fucking terrifying!! and i hate yin&yang the most, they were so creepy and cruel and they were never really punished.
11. How often do you play and how often would you ideally like to play?
i dm once a week these days, and i play sporadically. thesis year has been hard on me! but ideally i would love to dm twice a week and play in one or two steady campaigns, or dm once a week with regular one-shot sessions!
12. Your in game inside jokes/memes/catchphrases and where they came from.
o.. there’s a lot?? my favorite is “honeyclaw pissed on lenthol” bc our barbarian thought it would be a good idea to climb into the robot piloted by the “big bad” (or so we thought at the time), and then to sell her bluff that she was looking for the bathroom, she just...... pissed herself >:(
13. Introduce your current party.
as a dm: lael (half-elf magitechnician who bases their mad science off of cool bugs); guardian (robot paladin on his third life, basically robocop with light existential crises); senhora (brash and kind-hearted by turns, an elf who [REDACTED] before becoming a ranger and bonding w a wolf); jj devinyl (a tiefling cleric who does stand-up comedy and loves his wife); and percy (an android with identity issues, driven by curiosity, and love for magic, and literally no qualms about threatening to kill her friends).
as a player:rowan (the last prince of a lost kingdom and also the saddest, gayest boy in town); ko&kokumo (my elf boy whose soul split in two after leaving his warlock patron, driven by nosiness and romance respectively); honeyclaw (a tabaxi pro-wrestler who deserted her life as a child soldier, pissed on lenthol); peitho (the surprisingly wholesome god of sex, was kinda into the tactics of being a spy before he got distracted by p*ssy); and lumley (the dumbest baby lesbian ever o my god, she’s the daughter of a powerful river goddess and she still can’t get a date).
14. Introduce any other parties you have played in or DM-ed.
that would take me one million years.
15. Do you have snacks during game times?
yeah!! traditionally we take a halfway break at 9 and all go get snacks together, it’s great.
16. Do you play online or in person? Which do you prefer?
i prefer in person, but we play online a lot, and we’ll have to be only online once we graduate.
17. What are some house rules that your group has?
we round up score mods from odds and we don’t pay attention to like.. most of the little rules. it’s more abt the storytelling. (which is why we may switch to a different system if i can seduce them away.)
18. Does your party keep any pets?
o yeah, i think almost every group has had an animal companion. and if not, zach always plays a furry.
19. Do you or your party have any dice superstitions?
a lot of us roll specific sets for each character!
20. How did you get into D&D? How long have you been playing?
i got into dnd in high school bc i liked a boy who watched community, and then i watched community, and the dnd episode fucking rocked. never got past making characters and one botched attempt at a session. then in my first year of college, i joined the dnd club and i’ve been playing since! so like, three years and some change.
21. Have you ever regretted something your character has done?
ya lol i play very much how my character would act and tho that usually goes well for me.. ko wanted to break his pact with aengus despite the Consequences and i didn’t. but overall i think the outcome has been a lot of fun!
22. What color was your first dragon?
silver! just introduced them, actually!
23. Do you use premade modules or original campaigns?
all original, baby.
24. How much planning/preparation do you do for a game?
a ton. as a dm i write........ a lot. i want to have a lot of vivid characters, solid plots, and a huge interwoven world. so my docs are always huge and take me months to finish.
as a player i do less bc players just inherently have far less to do. but i still try put a ton into really developing my character so i can play them more naturally.
For DMs
25. What have your players done that you never could have planned for?
in my first campaign, i used a lot of weird memory spells to keep characters from remembering the big bad, because him being unremembered was a HUGE plot point for me. i had two different groups playing in the city at the same time, and one of them.... had this dragonborn who just liked to talk to plants and who hated nobles, and who fucking cast MAGIC MOUTH on their FANNY PACK to record that big bad so that it COULDN’T BE FORGOTTEN. MAGIC MOUTH. THAT’S THE SPELL THAT BROKE ME.
26. What was your favorite scene to write and show your characters.
i’ve really liked a couple, but i know i haven’t topped the finale for my first campaign. after finally the groups finally came together and killed Shargaas, the city began to crumble around them, and they all watched me set a ten-minute timer for them to figure out how to get away with their lives.
27. Do you allow homebrew content?
o yea, i adore MFOV particularly.
28. How often do you use NPCs in a party?
o there are always a couple kicking around.
29. Do you prefer RP heavy sessions or combat sessions?
we don’t really.. do... that second thing....
30. Are your players diplomatic or murder hobos?
yes.
For Players
31. What is your favorite class? Favorite race?
o fuck. uh probably wizard. and i love................. half-elves.
32. What role do you like to play the most? (Tank/healer/etc?)
i really like long-distance damage dealers.
33. How do you write your backstory, or do you even write a backstory?
i always start with a concept and then i just write an entire novel ell em ay oh.
34. Do you tend pick weapons/spells for being useful or for flavor?
done!
35. How much roleplay do you like to do?
like, 70% rp, 30% jokes,

On Killing A Rat
"By biting through a dam, even a rodent may cover out a country."
Edmund Burke
Hardly any animals in the Western world are as dreaded and chastised as the key rodent. Rodents are connected with space suite ghettos, sewers and waste. They bring affliction, degenerate sustenance, and are absolutely hard to dispose of once they set up a state. In swarm circles a source is known as a rodent. When I was an enthusiastic my mates and I would holler, "You rodent!" at one another when we expected to utilize a swearword that would not get our mouths washed out with creation. Rodents undermined Winston Smith, the stunning individual of 1984, and in Richard Wright's Native Son, Bigger Thomas butchers a rodent with an iron skillet as the novel starts. Albert Camus' The Plague opens with innumerable rodents dead in the city of Oran, an emissary to the scourge going to overpower the city.
Regardless, I had insignificant individual idea with rodents. A couple of adolescents I acknowledged kept rodents as pets, and they don't showed up anything over more clear than regular mice, like what the Romans called "Mus Maximus" (Big Mouse, a rodent, figuratively speaking) rather than "Mus Minimus" (Little Mouse). So when mid one night near the start of summer 2011 I saw an irritating lessening shaded animal with a long tail flooding about the bits of my lemon tree, I was nonplused. This was no little adolescents' pet. This was a colossal, extended, and extremely abhorrent creature that had advanced into my yard and was really starting at now pigging out itself on the substance of one of my fowl feeders. With surprising inclination it slithered unadroitly down the barrel fused side, planted itself on the round roost where the winged animals should sit, and ate results be chastised, astonishing its nose like a rabbit and utilizing its paws like an electric saw. It ran when I drew nearer, moving with stunning pace, up the side of the winged animal feeder and back up into the branches, scattering among the leaves.
The following night it was back before long, eating voraciously. At sunset the day after that it brought a beautification. At long last there were two, and the next night there were four. These rodents were underscoring exponentially. Taking off to my PC I made "rodents" on Google. I got more than 95,000,000 outcomes, and a vivacious examination of several the articles I found set me up I had an issue I would do well to orchestrate, with no veritable system to lose.
I expected to dispose of the rodents, or soon I would be gotten with them. Rodents are mind blowing for how hair-raising they go over. In any case, I expected to do it as mindful as could be standard the condition being what it is and in as earth satisfying a course as I could. I made a visit to the closest home improvement shop, and after a watchful see what was on the racks under the standard title "Rat Control," I left away with what I thought were the best decisions: Two insignificant plastic "rat boxes," with round openings on either side for the rodents to encounter, four places inside to put the squares of ruinous substance (that way on a crucial measurement the rodents and not some space feline would undeniably get to them) and spots for a spring-stacked rodent trap, two of which I got. These were, I found, a quantum weave in power from the old Victor wooden mousetraps I had seen starting at now. The jaws of these gotten an exasperating trouble that really debilitated me the headliner when I heard it, and would unmistakably bring moment (and ideally pressing) decimation to any rodent that pursuit down after the nutty spread I utilized as draw. I set the contraptions, put the squares of revolting green hurting substance in their spots, and put the cases under the trees a couple of feet isolated from each other, sprinkled some winged creature seed around each, and wrapped up. While I held up I put wisely colossal centrality in Google, discovering a few diagrams concerning rodents.
Rodents are most senseless for having gotten the Black Plague to Europe the fourteenth Century. Coming the Silk Road from China, rodents passing on plague-bearing bugs achieved the Crimea in 1346, and beginning there ricocheted on board flatboats set out toward Europe. The resultant pandemic, possibly the most clearly repulsive at whatever point, executed a standard one-part of the bigger part. Medieval procedure couldn't find the reason nor may it have the choice to treat the hurt. Individuals went to rest clearly suffering and kicked the compartment in their rest. The dead were unequivocal to the point that in express spots there was nobody staying to cover them. Europe would not recoup for a long time.
By some fortuitous event, there is all around more to the human-rodent relationship than the plague, as I was soon to find. Rodents have resolvedly followed in the structures for human development. Where there are individuals, there will be rodents. Rodents before long live on every scene on earth by Antarctica, making them the best all around made creature on earth after individuals. It is plot there is one rodent for each human on earth. One story, possibly rushed, stipends that in spots where rodents are particularly uncommon, an individual at some self-unequivocal time is all around that really matters ten feet from one.
Rodents have a stunning present for survival. On Engebi, one of the Eniwetok Atolls where atomic bombs were had a go at in the midst of the 1950s, virtuosos came back to perceive what stayed after the bombs were detonated. They found radioactive soil, vegetation squashed and a succeeding space of rodents. Rodents can continue through a fall of 50 feet without talent. Striking swimmers, they can cross wide streams (a massive mass improvement of rodents was recorded in Southern Russia in 1727 while unending them swam over the River Volga from Astrakhan). They can step water for three days without resting and bounce to profundities of 100 feet. They live a standard of 2 to 3 years, and a female rodent generally has a litter of 6 to 12 relatives six or on different occasions each year. They live in states (packs) with each rodent's set in the social systems obliged by their pulling in most astounding, the amazing people at the top. They rest together, groom one another, and get a few information about play and play doing fighting. Unequivocally when the state gets an insane part of titanic, the all the all the all the all the furthermore singing people leave to begin zones of their own.
Rodents are known for their sharp teeth and astonishing jaws. Not exclusively are their teeth sharp, they are incredibly hard: Measured on the Mohs hardness scale they come in at 5.5, harder than iron or platinum, and the larger part as hard as beneficial stone, which checks 10. These hard teeth collaborate with rodents to eat through wood, bone, plastic pipe, even square. Rodents will eat about anything, and have been known to eat substance, calfskin, and spreads, yet incline toward grain, controlled animals feed, and meat of different sorts, including human, paying little regard to the course by which that events of that are hair-raising. Regardless, with their colossal needs, they can and will eat 33% of their body weight each day.
Their visual speed is poor, obliged to just two or three feet. They hear endlessly well, and have made estimation of touch and smell. A rodent can run 24 miles an hour for a short part. They are viewed as fit, one reason they are scan for after wearisome for research center tests, and a pushing report discovered rodents to have metacognition, "thinking about knowing," a most superb starting late chronicled boundlessly in people and primates.
In express bits of the world, individuals go to rodents. In India rodents are viewed as a vehicle for Lord Ganesha, and statues of rodents sit in Ganesha refuges. At the Temple of the rats, in Rajasthan state, admirers make this a walk further and take part with 20,000 of the unbelievable animals to live in the ensured house, thinking of them as favored animals called kabbas. Butchering one there, as you may have considered, is unlawful, and the rodents are permitted to run free while the strong arrangement with their supplications in the ensured house. In the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, and parts of Polynesia, rodents are eaten as a key piece of the standard eating plan. In China the rodent is the key creature of the Chinese Zodiac, and individuals considered in the Year of the Rat are thought to have characteristics of realness, innovative centrality, data and need properties that rodents are thought to have what's more.
Overlooking I expected to dispose of the rodents in my yard. For a few days nothing appeared to occur. The rodents still showed up, unquestionably, to be each night for their gobbling up learning of flying creature seed, yet I saw their numbers were never again making. By then late one night I heard a blending sound from under the trees where I had left the rat boxes. Something was moving in the fallen leaves. I went to research and saw a little rat head fly out of the opening for the case. This was trailed by about piece of the rodent's body. It ate insatiably at the winged animal seed that I had spread on the ground, utilizing its paws vivaciously, like the course by which a ground squirrel fortifies, by then pulled back inside the case, just to develop again a minute later to eat more. As I came nearer it gave me a sidelong look, picked I was nobody of any centrality, ate more, and a compact time go apportioning later spread no insufficiency.
Something was out of synchronize here. For what reason didn't it escape? For what reason hadn't it incapacitated the contraption inside? Almost certainly I drew nearer, yet I wasn't amped conspicuous all around for getting moronically close-I expected to get nibbled by the rodent. By then the rodent kept eating. By then it got an affectin

A lovely, low-key birthday this year. Suitable of that liminal space that is age 33. Took a stroll through Cathedral Park, spotted an elusive deciduous Dawn Redwood tree (my first in the city!), and came home to a sparkling lemon Bundt cake courtesy of my one and only, @christinebin Thank you to all my incredible friends and family for giving me that birthday serotonin boost. I’m so grateful for all of the love. I feel its abundance today. It makes my world go round. Winding down with the 1961 version of Disney’s “101 Dalmatians”. It’s always been a feel-good movie for me. I love the mod animation style, Cruella’s demented cackle, and the enduring friendship and loyalty between all the pups. 33! Feels good so far. Halloween candy, ranked
43. Peeps: Plumbing caulk. Leftover foam party residue. I don’t care if you made it look like a cute little ghostie. It’s still meringue with poor self-esteem.
42. Popcorn balls: At least hand out apples, Mom.
41. Weird off-brand chocolate wrapped in foil: If a candy sits in a bowl and no one eats it, is it still candy? At what point does it become an artifact?
40. Candy pumpkins: The candy equivalent of eating crown molding. This is for decoration.
39. Candy corn: Though it is similar to its pumpkin-shaped colleague, the saving grace of these most divisive Halloween candies is that you can stick them on your canine teeth and pretend to be a vampire with gingivitis. What would you call that flavor, anyway? Expired sugar? Dull resignation to the way things have always been? Be better to yourself.
38. Lollipops: Dum Dums are legit. Anything else takes too long and keeps you from eating other candy.
37. Bubblegum: See above. As a Koopa shell is in Mario Kart, so this is. It just gets in the way. Don’t get me started on Blow Pops.
36. Smarties: Some blackboard chalk magnate is cackling at the greatest scam ever pulled.
35. Swedish Fish: Like a fine malbec, one cannot appreciate Poseidon’s gummiest children until adulthood, and even then only if they have particular tastes. They’re not worth putting in a festive cauldron for all to enjoy.
34. Taffy: No one else is in on the joke, grandma.
33. Jellybeans: I want to shove candy in my mouth, not consult a chart just to figure out if I’m about to taste lemon or pee.
32. Jolly Ranchers: These are a prize for many children, enticed by a shard of glass that will turn their tongue blue. The discerning confection connoisseur knows they’re one-note and cloying.
31. Airheads: Only ranked higher than taffy because it doesn’t double as a low-cost dental filling. Softer, gentler, still inessential.
30. Nerds: These are heterosexual Pop Rocks.
29. 3 Musketeers: You get out of life what you put into it. If you put in only nougat, you become the elevator music of candies.
28. Milk Duds: I love a Milk Dud. I hate needing a Waterpik and a blowtorch to not look like Austin Powers when I’m done.
27. Pixy Stix: One one hand, I respect the simplicity of distilling the concept of candy to straight-up sugar granules. On the other hand, it’s like ordering coffee at Starbucks and just getting a cup of beans. Do a little work, man.
26. Hershey’s Kisses: This is a Christmas candy.
25. Hershey’s Bar: It’s like eating a dry baked potato. Sure, you can do it. But you don’t have to.
24. Sweet Tarts: Smarties are Olivia Newton-John at the beginning of “Grease.” Sweet Tarts are Olivia Newton-John in leather pants.
23. Sour Patch Kids: A year-round favorite of kids, and for good reason, but don’t you find all that sour sugar gauche?
22. Kit Kat: Humble and workmanlike, like a dad who works nights.
21. M&Ms (peanut): This will be an upset ranking, but I don’t care. These are not bad, but I’ve never eaten a bag of plain M&Ms and thought, “I wish this tasted like a free snack from a bar.”
20. Snickers: The prototypical candy bar. You’ve got your chocolate, your caramel, your nuts. Somehow, that chewy devil, nougat, snuck into this party. But all things considered, it’s earned its prestige.
19. Milky Way: There is a small chance I just don’t love peanuts in my candy.
18. Twix: The main problem with candy in general is that it’s not cookies. These sugary Frankenstein sticks found a crunchy, chewy gap in the market and filled it like capitalist heroes.
17. Almond Joy: A flood of tender, tropical sweetness mixed with crunchy, hearty almonds and enveloped in milk chocolate. My stance on nuts is becoming more inscrutable by the minute. I guess sometimes you do feel like a nut.
16. Pop Rocks: For the kind of Halloween that says, “I WANT CANDY TO PUNCH MY TONGUE REPEATEDLY BUT ALSO HISS INSIDE ME LIKE A MELTING SNAKE.”
15. Nestle Crunch: Look no further for evidence that texture is a major player in the confectionary Hunger Games. The defined ridges on the Crunch bar are fun to bite into; the crisped rice mixed in keeps the sensations coming with each chew.
14. Whoppers: They’re like little eggs filled with crunchy powder that taste like an ice cream treat. Weird, but good! They’ve been around in some form since the late 1930s, which is exactly the era in which you’d think someone would create something called a “malted milk ball.”
13. Lemonheads: This list has not been kind to harder candies, but Lemonheads (and to a lesser extent, their various fruit-flavored siblings) combine a sweet-and-sour lemon flavor that’s not too precious with a layered texture experience. Bonus: The creator named them after his newborn son because he thought the baby’s head looked like a lemon. Delicious and inspired by a casual insult to an infant!
12. Starburst: Picking up taffy’s slack since 1960.
11. Skittles: Just not the purple ones.
10. 100 Grand: This candy bar makes me feel like I have clear pores and a Roth IRA.
9. Tootsie Pops: See, lollipops? All you needed was a little punch of chocolate in the middle to transcend this world.
8. Dots: Soft, juicy and unique in their interpretation of a classic fruit palette. Don’t sleep on these gumdrops.
7. M&Ms (plain): Peanuts are a distraction. I meant it.
6. Reese’s Pieces: On the other hand … You’re going to start noticing a theme, and it’s that I will praise peanut butter like I’m a choosy mom who chooses bribes from the peanut butter lobby.
5. Twizzlers: Black licorice? A poisonous hose. Red Twizzlers? A delicious, edible soda straw.
4. Gummy worms: You could slot any gummy product here, because they’re all pretty legit, but the worms take the trophy home with their name engraved on it, due to the fact that they’re spooky.
3. Tootsie Rolls: It has recently come to my attention that many people dislike Tootsie Rolls. This happened when I expressed my love for it at work, and my colleagues shrieked like I’d told them our newspaper was pivoting to video. They are wrong, and I question their moral fiber. Tootsie Rolls are chewy, they have a mellow cocoa taste and they’re really hard to melt. Also, this fact, per the Tootsie Roll website, is bonkers and worthy of respect on the creepiest holiday: Inventor Leo Hirshfield’s “recipe required the incorporation of the previous day’s Tootsie Rolls into each newly cooked confection, a graining process that Tootsie continues to this day. As such, there’s (theoretically) a bit of Leo’s very first Tootsie Roll in every one of the sixty four million Tootsie Rolls that Tootsie produces each day.”
2. Butterfinger: Just enough of a peanut butter flavor to be warm and familiar, but just different enough to be its own thing. Perhaps the most gorgeous of the candies on this list — more treats should look like geologic formations when you bite into them. Crispety, crunchety orange shale forever.
1. Reese’s Cups: King candy. The reigning champion of decadence. You know you’re in charge when your name becomes synonymous with your flavor combination. When I worked at Amy’s Ice Creams, we were told the peanut butter cups were one of the most expensive crush’ns. Royalty knows its worth. Now, figure out a way to get more peanut butter in that cup.
