Numerous people voiced their concerns about Kyle Carrozza for YEARS. The people close to him knew he was an abusive person and chose to align with him to cover up their own wrongdoings, or because he was a powerful man in the industry that they could cling to for clout. People had been talking about this for YEARS and were constantly silenced BY these dedicated Kyle devotees.

The names are known, people know precisely who was defending him, and those defenders are now scrambling to dissociate from him as though they didn't constantly use his fame and connections to get ahead... Despite knowing the type of person he was.

Kyle knew the people he gathered around him. He specifically chose young, desperate industry newbies who would rally around him and defend him to the ends of the earth because they felt indebted to him. He systematically grooms people he can identify as vulnerable, and uses those connections to exploit people.

Those hurt by him are telling the truth, there are many harrowing testimony from those hurt by him. Although the world is seeing it now, it's cold comfort knowing that the victims received almost no real justice for this in a timely manner.

Everyone hurt by him deserves the chance to move forward with their lives now in any way they see fit, and live as best they can.

But don’t forget the people who have defended Kyle and who keep spinning the victim narrative

So recently @lemonheadandlollipup uploaded human designs for Lemonhead and Lollipup and I’ve now doodled Lollipup twice today. Sadly I didn’t take a photo of the first one with a really bad Lems but I plan to eventually finish this one. Where is she going? Probably to a donut shop.

Ooc but real talk here, @lemonheadandlollipup‘s comics just really evoke this childhood nostalgia in me; like, I can 100% imagine waking up on a Saturday morning, switching on the TV, and watching their undeniably charming characters on a show! Lots of love and best wishes to the artist! You put so much passion, hard work, and love in your project, and I can’t wait to see what you’re going to accomplish!

HAPPY TRANS DAY OF VISIBILITY!!

This season I wanted to do a little bit of giftart for a few folks I follow which work I greatly enjoy so the first one up is some toony art for @lemonheadandlollipup. As her username suggests these two girls are named Lemonhead and Lollipup. They both star in a webcomic strip alongside Liz the Iguana which I didn’t get a chance to draw but maybe someday. The strip is very cute and has a more relax comedic tone compared to a lot of webcomics that are either action themed or topical in some way (like being about game culture or something).

Funny enough someone else just drew fanart of Lollipup giving Lemonhead a big ol’ hug but I was actually mid finishing the lineart on this when that happened lol. To be fair in my iteration Lollipup is nearly killing Lemonhead rather than just mildly annoying her so thematically it is different!

All silliness aside it was fun to try to develop out my own toony style a little bit? I’m still not the best at keeping character simple and not adhering strictly to realistic anatomy but I’m getting there.
