I can’t believe I’m forced to sit here and endure the Gale/Anders comparisons despite them really just having magic and cats in common and NO ONE has compared Shadowheart and Leliana. They’re literally the opposite and the same at the time. We just meet Shadowheart at her dark point instead of act three where she’s loosing up.

Like if you nudge the time line a bit you could have Shadowheart be a regular selune cleric who has a dark past as a cleric of Shar and who does that remind you of? Leliana.

Leliana’s background of being a bard works pretty well too and is probably the closest you can get considering there’s no devil equivalent in Thedas.

I love leliana but I wish she didn't return in inquisition, I mean, last time we saw her she wanted to travel the world or was dead and then suddenly she's hand of the Divine... Idk it might just be me but "the maker brought me back" just doesn't cut it, it's a shit reason.
