Après quelques jours dans l’Himachal Pradesh, là où l’Himalaya indien prend ses racines j’ai retrouvé Laura, sa soeur et un ami à Manali. Après un petit trek dans les montagnes alentours nous avons pris la route de Leh. Quelques 24h de bus qui s’effectuent en 2 jours nous ont fait passer par des paysages lunaires et inhabités hormis par les nomades qui vivent de leur bétail et des précieux poils de chèvres qui servent à la fabrication des fameux pashminas du Cachemire. Sur la route défoncée, recouverte par endroits par des torrents rendant le passage de certains véhicules difficile notre chauffeur fait tranquillement avancer son bus de 5h à 23h à travers des montagnes qui semblent irréelles et sur des cols qui vous coupent le souffle.
