🏹 @legendaryfigure liked for a starter
Mia had sworn off heroes since her father died. He'd kept the truth of his identity from her all her life, and when she finally, truly, got a chance to know him, he'd chosen to sacrifice himself instead of staying with her. She knew she was supposed to be proud of that. Oliver Queen, the infamous Green Arrow, had saved the entire world. The math would never balance, eight billion people against one little girl who just wanted her dad, but deep down in her most selfish of hearts, she didn't care. He'd put the Green Arrow ahead of her for her entire life. Just once, she wished he'd chosen to be a father to her instead of a hero to everyone else.
She'd put down her bow, the suit he'd made for her tucked away in storage, and she made her living with her dad's training and her mom's brain. Blackstar was the undefeated cage fighter for Star City, but what most people didn't know was that she'd also picked up in her grandfather, the Calculator's, footsteps in cyber crime. Though cage fighting paid well, hacking paid far better, and while she took the occasional altruistic job if she believed in the outcome enough, most of that money got stored away in obscure, protected bank accounts or anonymously donated. She didn't care to restore the Queen name to its former glory; she'd continued to use her mother's surname and live in a shitty, run-down apartment building in the Glades.
That was where she was currently located, seated at the kitchen counter with her head in her hands, staring down a recently purchased burner phone like she expected it to blink first. Calling this number was a Hail Mary, she realized. Mia wasn't positive the Nowhere Man even existed, despite extensive research into the legend. Someone existed. Someone with government-level training swooped in to help people in need and vanished just as quickly, but whether or not it was the same person every time, she couldn't say for sure. He was a ghost.
A ghost might be exactly what she needed right now. Mia had thrown all her considerable talents and resources into locating John Constantine, but he seemed to have vanished off the face of the Earth. Given the kinds of occult circles he ran in, that was entirely possible. He'd done her a favor once at not inconsiderable risk to himself, helping her locate her father's soul and bring it back to his body. It hadn't mattered in the end; Oliver had still chosen to die, but Mia couldn't forget what Constantine had done for her. This wasn't even her fight. In theory, she could walk away from it any time, but she couldn't escape the feeling that she owed him this, this last tenuous connection to her dad.
Extensive research--of both the cyber kind and the violent kind--hadn't pulled up a lot of information. One day he was in London as usual, and the next he was gone. Mia didn't even know if the Nowhere Man dabbled in the paranormal, which was probably what this was, but she didn't know who else to ask. She couldn't very well go banging down the doors of Papa Midnight or Lucifer himself with only her fists and her bow to back her up. Much as she hated to admit it, she needed help.
She blew out a breath, snatching up the phone and dialing the number, 1-855-2-NOWHERE, so easy to memorize it could have been a practical joke. There was nothing funny about waiting for the line to connect though, her breathing ragged in her ear. The voice on the other end was calm and unfamiliar. There was no greeting, just a question, simple on the face of it but deeply complicated for someone like Mia, who'd promised herself she would never again lean on someone who could abanon her.
Do you need my help?
She drew a breath, holding it until she knew her voice wouldn't wobble.
"Yes."

Nash Healey - Legendary figures and Grand ambitions
The Nash-Healey was born out of a chance meeting on an ocean liner and went on to become a rare gem. The story involves legendary figures, grand ambitions, and a unique blend of American and British engineering.
George Mason, the president of Nash-Kelvinator, and innovative British sports car maker Donald Healey had an incredible collaboration sparked by a chance meeting on the ocean liner Queen Elizabeth. Both men were photography buffs, which led to them striking up a conversation and discovering they both ran car companies. By the time they reached shore, they had agreed to develop a groundbreaking sports car combining American power with British design.
Letters, sketches, and ideas were exchanged over the next few months. A vehicle that would capture the elegance of British craftsmanship while boasting the brawn of an American engine was envisioned by them.
The creation of the Nash-Healey, a car that would later become a symbol of international ingenuity and collaboration, culminated in their transatlantic partnership.
British engineer Donald Healey designed the car, and a Nash Ambassador engine powered it. A perfect blend of American innovation and British craftsmanship was embodied in it.
Mason wanted to liven up Nash's image, while Healey was keen on using Cadillac's revolutionary new V-8 engines. When the plan fell through, the robust Nash Ambassador six-cylinder engine was offered by Mason. Equipped with dual carburetors and a hot camshaft, this engine provided an impressive 125 hp.

legendaryfigure asked:  mistletoe @Jake from Evan
Tumblr media
It shouldn’t have taken him as long as it had to take down the minimal Christmas decorations and pack them away, though he’d been getting distracted easily, music playing in the background and dancing with himself as he worked, he was in good spirits by the time Evan returned, the last of the boxes set aside to be stored away and he hopped down from the stool to turn down the music, grinning at him brightly as he crossed the distance between them. “Welcome home...” he whispered softly as he came to a halt before him, rocking onto the balls of his feet before tilting his head with a grin, the mistetoe pinched between his fingers and held above his head with a raised brow, it one of the last pieces he’d brought down to pack away. “I know it’s not Christmas anymore...” he hummed with a smirk before his free hand curled into the front of his shirt, tugging him closer and claiming his lips in a slow and tender kiss, grinning against his lips with a quiet chuckle before letting his forehead rest gently against his. “I had to take advantage before it gets packed away for another year,” he shrugged before drawing back and dropping his hand, the other patting his chest gently with a quiet hum. “Not that I really need an excuse to kiss you when you walk in the door.”

if you HAD to choose, who’s your favorite muse?
Lately, probably....
No, I can’t answer that. I have several muses I have literally poured what has to be part of my SOUL into writing, & even if they’re not as active as they once were, they’re too important to me to brush aside. this is one of the reasons I heavily dislike the label of ‘favorite’ because each of my muses is a favorite in their own, vastly different, way.

His fingers twitched with an all too familiar ache, reminding him of just how unarmed he was at the moment. He knew the rational side of things would be that not every stranger was out to kill or bring him in, but it was a risk, a gamble he wasn’t willing to bet on. The movement was slow, dropping his hand down just enough that his fingertips brushed the handle of his knife.
Eyes narrowing, he studied the man. Silent as he searched for any signs on who the man was, why he had come. HYDRA wasn’t obvious, neither was SHIELD, but that didn’t mean anything, both sides hid their people in plain sight.
“How did you find me?” James finally spoke, skeptical gaze still centered on the man. He knew their surroundings fairly well, he’d run without hesitation if forced to.

❝ I’m beginning to think I should make that the title of my autobiography. ❞
That one meme from ages ago…
Tumblr media
“Really? I thought ‘Vodka is Love. Vodka is life.’ would’ve been a far more fitting title for your autobiography,” I mused, eyes sliding over to Evan, eyebrows lifting softly. “And naturally it’d be a detailed and illustrated guide to drinking the worlds greatest vodkas. Which is best with a wedge of lime, which is best straight. And that one is fantastic with a crack of pepper…”

It’s not OFTEN that he leaves the compound. But, when he does, he relies heavily on instinct that he doesn’t remember developing. And it’s that instinct that tells him he’s being WATCHED. Circling through the crowd, he comes up behind the man he had pegged.
          “Can I HELP you?”

4. Was your muse almost different personality-wise?

4. Was your muse almost different personality-wise?
Not really, I don’t think, but she definitely also wasn’t James Potter incarnate. To be honest, when I first made Amelia that didn’t come to mind at all. I wasn’t too sure how her personality was going to be like aside from her struggling to adapt to magic and her birth family. I think it was pretty much the same now except all the prongs 2.0 stuff. That stuff slowly came out and just felt really natural with Amelia. Plus I adore the contrast of most Harry twins seen in fanfiction being a mini-Lily through and through (appearance and personality wise) and then you have Amelia who may look like Lily but reality is she’s the devil james incarnate.
