You have no idea how thrilled I was that you sent this request right after the last one I'd gotten, it fit so perfectly!! And thank you for the well wishes, things are tough right now but I know that I’ll get through it as I have everything else in life

I imagined this as a continuation of the previous suggestion where Ravio feels the pain from Legend getting injured on his quest and after the fight, they get Legend patched up for the most part though he still isn’t fully healed. They get sent to Legend’s Hyrule within the next couple of days and Ravio ends up coming across them near the castle or on his way to town or something and as soon as Ravio sees them, he immediately goes straight for Legend and picks him up, insisting that they’re going home right that instant! Some of the others are failing not to laugh amongst themselves as Legend actually just lets Ravio carry him despite insisting that he’s genuinely fine, which prompts Ravio to lovingly scold him about being more careful and how Legend can’t just worry him like that, with the rest of the Chain following behind as they make their way back to the house

Also if this is not something that someone has already done before, I would like to propose the concept of strong Ravio, my boy deserves to be able to carry Legend and no one can change my mind!!

This is the final Ravioli suggestion that y’all have sent me for the time being so thank you to everyone who did, I really enjoyed these! My hand is hurting a little from the previous drawing so I’ll be sure to rest it for a bit (meaning you guys won’t have to scold me this time about taking care of myself cause I’m already doing it lol), but hopefully it won’t take too long to feel better and I can draw some more art soon!

My little guys.

I’ve been talking a lot about Ravio and Legend recently! But can you blame me?? I imagine this as Ravio’s first time going back to the ocean. He was nervous, but Legend promised to stay with him. And guess what? They were safe! Mer are supposed to live in the ocean. They have to soak three times a week just to keep themselves alive when they’re on land- and that’s to stay alive, not necessarily comfortable. It’s probably such a relief for Ravio to be back underwater after all this time. And Legend, but he’s more focused on… other things at the moment.

Ravio’s in awe of the ocean, his heart singing with joy to be home, amazed by the scenery. And Legend stays close, keeping his promise, and is just SO PROUD of him.

Legend, sitting on Ravio's lap : We should get married.

Ravio : We already are.

Legend : no, I mean ,we divorce, that's like 300 rupees, then we remarry, and people offer us money and things and we get to have tax benefits again.

Ravio : You learn well, little bunny.

“NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP!”

Legend freezes, halfway through dressing. Ravio has a nasty habit of breaking into song around him. Normally, that wouldn’t be a problem; satin bowerbird courtship relies more heavily on song. 

“NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN!”

It’s just…why does it have to be this song? Where the merchant heard it is a mystery, but now he sings it at every opportunity. 

“NEVER GONNA RUN AROUND—“

“Ravio, I’m busy!”

“AND DESERT YOU!” A pause. Then, in a lower volume, “I thought you liked my singing?”

“Not when I’m trying to get ready! Not while taking a bath! Not when writing a letter! Or any of the other hundred times you’ve decided to annoy me.” Legend is at the end of his feathers on patience. His flockmate seems to take a sadistic interest in the same Hylia-damned song. Over. And over. And over. 

“NEVER GONNA SAY GOODBYE!”

Legend screams into his feathers. 

Ravio continues down the hall, still belting out the song.

“MISTER HERO, YOU ARE A RABBIT???” Ravio’s shout was so loud that Link was sure all of Hyrule had heard him.

“No, Rav, I’m not. It’s just a form like any other.”

“Mister Hero, I don’t think you understand the implications of what you just told me,” the merchant said in a strangely calm voice. “You have the ability to transform into the most beautiful creature that can exist in this world… and I request you to show me.” Even without looking, Link could feel Ravio’s green eyes staring at him.

“First of all, I don’t have to show you anything if I don’t want to. Second, it’s not like I can. Unless you can bring enough darkness to my soul to make me transform, you’ll have to settle for my Hylian form.” Ravio continued to stare at him, but at least he stopped talking. Link put away the blade he had been preparing and decided to clean the old mirror that started this all mess of a conversation.

“When you come back from your missions, you smell really bad,” Ravio blurted out.

Link stopped rubbing the mirror to turn around and face the other man. Ravio looked at him, and after a short silence, continued his rambling: “I don’t like that you don’t let me sell items that you don’t use anyway, and your bees are ugly and disgusting and scary. We could just buy honey instead of having them at home all the time. You have really weird tastes in decoration, you look bad in the morning, your breath smells like old underwear when you drink coffee. Also, if I had to choose between you and Sherrow, I would choose Sherrow instead of you and—”

“What is happening right now?” Link asked, looking at Ravio with a confused gaze.

“Well… I was trying to bring darkness to your soul, but it’s not working. Maybe I should continue a little more?” Ravio replied, staring at Link’s ears as if he expected them to transform at any moment.

“NO! No, no thank you.” Link took a moment to collect himself. “You… why would you think that? You know what? I don’t want to know how you came to that conclusion. I was talking about dark magic, not making me feel bad about myself, Rav.”

Two giant emerald eyes looked at him before Ravio jumped on him and pulled him into an embrace. “Oh sweet Lolia, I am so, so, so sorry, Mister Hero! That was very petty of me. I didn’t mean to make you feel bad, I promise! Will you ever forgive me? If you want, I can sell you the ice rod you want for the small price of 600 rupees to show you how sorry I am.”

Link let Ravio calm himself in his arms, pondering his words. “Why did you say that to me? You know me better than anyone. If you thought making me feel bad was the solution, why talk about my tastes in decoration and not my adventures or something like that?”

“That would have been mean, Mister Hero, it’s not polite to talk about something that someone cannot change.” Ravio said, looking at him as if he were the weird one.

Link just laughed before burying his face in the Lorulian’s hair. He smelled like apples today, which meant he had stolen Link’s shampoo again. Link would take care of that later; for now, he was planning on enjoying a well-deserved nap in his lover arms. Maybe he could ask the rancher to give him his stange crystal for an hour at two so he could show Rav his rabbit form. He wouldn’t be against somme rub on the back of his ears.

Also did you know that in French his name is Lavio ? And it makes a lot more sense dans Ravio but honestly Lavio just feels wrong

Legend: *suddenly tears up (he's exhausted course he would)* Why do you hate me!?

Ravio: Bunny, you need sleep!

Legend: You just told me to die!

Ravio: *exasperated* No! I didn't! I told you to go to sleep!

Legend: *in a whiny tone* It's the same thing!

Linktober 2024 Day 31: Free for All

Nothing like a few bandages and a whole lot of kisses to help Ravio’s Mr. Hero recover after a scuffle with some monsters!

It’s arrived, the final day (dun dun). We’ve officially made it y’all, the end of Linktober for this year and I thought what better way to celebrate it than bringing things full circle with some more Ravioli art!! I’m honestly really surprised at how much I’ve been able to get done this month, and that I’ve finished on time for all of these pieces (for my time zone at least), because I wasn’t even sure if I was going to do all of the prompts. Some of them were a bit difficult to think of ideas for but I’m proud of everything that I’ve made! Naturally some pieces turned out better than others and I did have to simplify or downscale some of my initial ideas for certain prompts, but the fact that I actually managed to make 31 unique pieces is so impressive to me and I’m amazed with myself for persevering!

Also speaking of recovering, I’m going to be taking at least a few days break from drawing because my hand has started hurting a bit, but hopefully I can keep working on some more stuff soon, there are a lot of things I want to make! In the meantime, I might actually try to work on some of the fic ideas that I have (because yes, I’m also a fanfic writer :D) and see if I can get any of those posted

It was a bit intimidating to join a new fandom on here, especially one as popular as the Zelda series, so I just wanted to thank all of you that have been liking, reblogging, and commenting on the art I’ve been putting out as well as those of you who’ve started following me, and just overall being so kind and supportive. It means the world to me and I hope you’ll stick around for more LOZ and LU stuff! :))

(Also sidenote about the actual drawing itself, I love how Legend's just a big fluffball when his hair gets messy, it's so cute!)

“come back to bed” kisses

I've been writing little snippets of 300 words based of a prompt and wanted to share some!

Legend sighed as he unwillingly rose into consciousness. He felt the bed shift and the blankets pile more firmly around him as his bedmate slipped from the covers. There was barely any light spilling through the curtains and Legend took the absence of body heat personally.

His hand darted out from beneath the covers and latched around the thinner wrist of his partner, ignoring the quiet eep! As he tugged them back towards the bed. Popping his head out from under the covers, Legend glared at Ravio as the merchant braced himself on the bed. 

“Where do you think you’re going?” he tugged again on Ravio’s wrist to draw the other man closer to the nest of blankets. “It’s not even light out and I know for a fact you don’t wake up this early normally.” 

“We don’t have eight other people in the house normally” Ravio pulled back on his wrist but Legend did not want to let go. “I need to make sure that there’s enough breakfast for everyone, to do so I need to get up early.”

“They can starve” Legend pulled one more time, fighting back the urge to just reach forward and scoop Ravio back into bed. “This is the first time we’ve had a break in months, they’ll sleep in any way.” He freed his other hand from the blanket nest and reached up to cup the back of Ravio’s head and draw the Merchant so he was now hovering over the blonde, knees braced on the bed and free hand pressing down beside the Vet’s head on the pillow.

With what dim light there was, Legend could make out the flush blooming across Ravio’s face and ears, the Merchants head at just the right angle that inky locks did not hide his eyes and Legend suppressed the urge to grin at the spark of want.

Knowing that he only needed one more thing to fully capture the other, Legend dropped the other wrist to push himself up and press a soft kiss to even softer lips. Ravio squeaked and leaned more into Legend, eyes slipping closed and shuddering as both the Vet’s arms came around him.

Gotcha

Legend tightened his arms around Ravio and rolled, the Merchant’s squawk being muffled into the blankets and Legend settled over the top of Ravio. He was quick to pull the blankets back over the two of them and shut out the weak dawn light that had started to invade the room.

Besides, there were better things to do than leave the bed.

Something I was actually pretty hesitant to put this up in here, but after some consideration finally decided to do it.

Legend from up here is from my Ravioli Fusion AU, and the unspoken question he's answering is something between the "Why are you wearing Ravio's turtleneck?" lines.

Some MORE additional context to that is a headcanon I plan to put into work later in the fic. Basically, after such a long time of Lorule fall being caused by the lack of Tri Force, you can only imagine that it suddenly appearing wouldn't make all people happy. They're getting better, they're trying their best [Hilda and Ravio] to restore their Kingdom to its previous glory, and it's just something they have to deal with.

(Some minor spoilers ahead about how fusion works so feel warned!)

The thing is, when Legend started to get warmed up to the idea of fusing with his one-and-only merchant, they quickly discovered they don't know / have any influence on which clothes are they going to wear upon merge. It quickly proven to be completely random, making them confused and frustrated how they couldn't predict shit. To ease Ravio's worries over having to fuse while in Lorule and ending up with his part of Triforce on plain sight, Legend started wearing Ravio's turtleneck(s). He prefers to have his hands uncovered, but when they merge and they end up so, he immediately covers them if he's in control.

He'll try to deny that he's soft for Ravio but he's a LIARRRRRRR, AYYYYYYYY🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Also; If someone's wondering about the lack of chapter, I'll be prolly updating it somewhere mid-July. That's when my exams session ends! I'll have enough time between work and some other stuff to go nuts with finally writing something hslsjsks
