Happy Left Handers Day! These may look like ordinary sewing shears but they are anything but. They are #lefthanded scissors. Since August 13th is #lefthandersday , I am pulling them out of my sewing kit to show you. There are also other unique tools in this house - like left-handed calligraphy nibs, left-handed cake decorating tips and a left-handed bread knife (made for Mom by my father). Five out of seven of my family are left-handed. My Mom, a professional seamstress, was gifted a left-handed pair of shears (by me!) late in her career, when they were finally available. It changed her life. One thing you can say about us - we are adaptable.
