this is a luxury (kinda) resort in the province of North West in South Africa and it’s by far one of my favourite places in my country.

where the main characters of ‘Sandton Drive’ will be staying is called the Lefika Villas, a new development right by the Palace (within Sun City).

On Monday the 3rd I met with Josh and spoke with him about his role. He had been to SA to visit everyone at Lefika and volunteer and had worked with them for quite some time. We discussed when I was available, what my ideas were, my initial thoughts and come up with a list of ‘to do’. He also asked for my help with setting up the exhibition on Wednesday which I accepted and we moved to the gallery where the exhibition would be to continue talking. I made notes for the ‘to do’ list so I knew what I could be getting on with. We ended up meeting with Hayley and talking through various ideas and she gave me a few contacts which I could email to get more support for the exhibition. It was too late to begin setting up the exhibition so it would be done the next day instead.

TheCGBros Presents "Ambu" by The Animation School - This is about a dying Golem warrior, searching for a way to fix his heart crystal. He meets Lefika, a young Golem girl, whose toy shares a resemblance to Ambu. Ambu faces reality when he realizes that there is nothing that can fix his heart. In this moment, he decides to spend his last minutes laughing with Lefika. They play with her toy, only to be torn apart by villagers, who leave Ambu to die. Lefika finds Ambu lifeless and, in a moment, breaks a part of her own crystal, placing it in Ambu’s chest, thus bringing him back to life. Africa: Bots, Zim Qualify for World Relays

Gaborone — Botswana and Zimbabwe’s 4x100m relay teams have qualified for the IAAF World Relays to be held in Yokohama, Japan from May 11-12.

Zimbabwe finished first with a time of 38.95, breaking their national record while Botswana came second recording 39.01 during Lefika Athletics Club relay and hurdle competitions in Gaborone on Saturday.
