! — There’s so much I can say about her, but I’ll opt out to say anything too much about her because I’m afraid I might brag. I can honestly say that I personally love her. Head over heels even. 

She’s one of a kind. 

It’s also funny how you can be friends with one person and suddenly, completely like them without a warning. She is that person. I can say that I’m happy that she’s in my life. One can always be appreciative of their partner, and I’m very appreciative of mine. 

In less than a few days, it will be our first month. Now, who can’t say they aren’t excited of their relationships? If anything, I can say that I am glad she is in my life. Starting is friends is great, having her as mine is even better.

Chanyeol gives a thrilled laugh, shaking his head. “You always say that,” he says, his voice pitched a bit, the wind blowing around their hair. The fall is perhaps...twenty feet? Fourty? He honestly can’t tell, everything around them dark, and he’s distracted by the police sirens going off somewhere far away.

There’s a bag in his hands, a dead phone in the other, and he’s a few feet from his impending death. Typical Saturday nights. 

“And - jump!” He says, going down with a small yell, laughing the whole way down. He falls over a dumpster first, before making it to the ground, and it’s not a graceful trip at all. If he were any more sober, he would feel the pain that runs from his ankles to his thighs. “Hurry up!”

    'So perhaps you could show us some of the sketches you’ve made, for the possible future or maybe some things that never made it through?’ June asked as she held her camera up to focus on the other. Despite them being friends, June figured it would be interesting to have the female who had such an interesting job, tell June’s viewers something about what she did and how the things worked as her channel was mostly based around art and music. And so here she was, walking around the building in which she did her work, she had gotten a small tour and they’d talked a bit but she figured, why not try and get the viewers to see something exclusive?

With the TV now turned off and the remote control thrown to the other side of the room, the girl’s comment broke the silence. It was a mistake they made because of their boredom. Who would have thought that a random selection of movie on netflix will make them witness a scene so hard to erase. Sure, they have seen naked men and women on screens before but this…this is different. The movie had no synopsis but the cover looked funny which made them settle on it. It was pretty funny…for the first 30 mins at least. And then it had a strange twist and next thing they know, they are looking at a man wearing yellowish undies, thrusting the air while rolling his tummy. What was really disturbing was the look on his face as he run his tongue across his lips. Wonyeol glace over at the other, wondering if she’s equally disturbed by the scene and sure enough, her expression tells it all. When his eyes fall back onto the screen, the man was about to remove his undies and THAT’S IT. He quickly reach over for the remote control and turn the TV off before throwing it aside. “That…was unexpected…But hey come on! I’m sure you’ll welcome it if Song Joongki’s naked body.” Wonyeol cracks a joke, hoping that it’ll lighten the atmosphere.

Minsun always tried to keep herself fit, she’s getting older so snacks every once in a while was good but her main focus was healthy eating and working out.  ❝How about some fruits too? They make pretty good snacks for movies.❞ She suggests, hoping she agreed.

❝ Fruit, huh? ❞ a smile washed over joomi’s features upon the mention of those healthy snacks. she understood why the other suggested it and so she simply pulls her shoulders up in a quick shrug whilst nodding her head. ❝ Sure! I mean, I never really did that before, it’s usually popcorn and chocolate for me but maybe I’ll like the fruit too! What kinda fruits were you thinking of? ❞

STONE-FACED, there was no amount of emotion on his face, no color in his eyes. he lacks compassion or, rather, has no compassion for those who mess with him and mess with those he cares about. he has no sympathy for anyone who hurts those closest to him and he has no remorse for anything he might do to them. he’s not as forgiving as god himself. if you verbally abuse anyone he cares about, he’s going to slit your throat. if you physically abuse anyone he cares about, he’s going to have Vendetta take you out. if you even lay a finger on any of them, he’s going to break it. so it’s safe to say that you don’t want to mess with him and if you ask anyone who “The Black Vulture” is, they’d know that. anyone who knows him or knows of him know that. everyone in Seoul knows that but that’s not going to stop anyone from trying. there have been some have tried to but none of them were seen as a threat to him. he has never felt threatened. that’s what makes him a leader, that’s what makes him who he is, that’s what everyone knows. he has many layers to him but no one has ever peeled the layers back to see him for who he is. some think he has no heart just because he has shown no compassion but he has feelings just like anyone else. he’s a human being. he’s supposed to have feelings but he thinks showing too much compassion makes you weak. he thinks showing your feelings makes you vulnerable. he might be right but even he can’t help how he feels and even he can’t help but to be protect those he cares about. whether they’re blood-related or not, he takes care of them. one of which, that isn’t blood-related, is his high school friend Minsun.

the two of them have known each other for years and she’s one of the few that he’s closest to, so knowing that, you better not hurt her or he’s going to hurt you. they met each other in art class. there they got close to each other but things weren’t like that at the beginning of the semester. Minsun was (and still is) sweet and likable but Ares? Ares couldn’t care less if he was likable or not. you were either scared of him or you thought he was just antisocial but Ares liked no one there. no one but Minsun. that was after a while though. Ares isn’t comfortable with just anyone but there was something comforting about Minsun. he thought she was too sweet and it made him sick to his stomach. he used to wonder how someone could be that sweet and not be weak but after he had gotten to know her some more, he realized that even though she seems too sweet, she has been through many things in her life that has given her strength. even with that in mind, he feels responsible if anything bad happens to her. they were seated next to each other in class and she’d try to talk to him every day but he wouldn’t say anything to her. a few weeks later, Ares spoke up. “you’re not so bad” he said under his breath as she painted. from there they talked more and from there they would get closer to each other. they would spend time together after school and would text each other whenever they could. Ares never thought he’d like anyone at school but he’d talk to her even after graduating. they don’t talk much anymore but he’d do anything for her.

a few days ago, they were seen together outside of his father’s bar. they had a few drinks and talked to one another. they talked for hours that night but that would be the night that things change between them. there’s a gang that had just been starting to make a name for themselves in the streets even though no one knows what the name of their gang is. much like the other gangs in Seoul that have a problem with Vendetta, the gang wants to go to war with them. one of the members of the gang heard that “The Black Vulture” would be his father’s bar and one of them recognized him as he was outside of the bar with Minsun. the members of the gang sat there in their car as Ares ruffled Minsun’s hair before going back inside of the bar. she wasn’t far from her house but on that night, she wouldn’t be going there. the gang past her and got out of the car, blindfolding her and tossing her into the truck of the car as they sped off. the next morning, Ares woke up to a voicemail. the voicemail was from the gang who kidnapped Minsun and they expressed to him what they wanted. they wanted him and a sum of money. they gave him the address to the building they were in. after hearing her in the background, muffled with duct tape on her mouth, Ares felt some emotion which was unlike of him. he has never felt that much emotion before in his life, a mixture of emotions.
