CPC EPILOGUE

One last...One last review...before...*gasp for air*...it all fall into the pit of daily pass...*dramatically fall into the ground*

ALL THOSE CHAPTERS. Those were some damn rollercoasters. And yet with everything we've been through, we're finally here...

Let's get right into it

JACK FINALLY REUNITING WITH LEELATHAE!! Relationship goal fr <3 This whole Leelathae portrait stuff is actually making me curious about some things. For instance like, does Leelathe still sleep? I mean, she's pretty much a spirit now, right? Does she still do daily human acitivities, or does she roam around the castle all day?

It's awesome to see what the pastel siblings are doing now! :D

First of all, Lorena definitely deserve that A+++++. No questions asked. Hopefully this can make up for her whole grade, considering she said she has never gotten an A in her entire life XD

I love how Maria is becoming really ambitious towards her dream!

And Gwen bonding with her mom's side of the family <3 That is simply so sweet. It looks like Jamie love those food XD I wonder what are the recipes for those dishes.

Also pretty curious what those little beads are! I assume they are berries?

Jamie and Leopold creating lots of paintings so Leelathae can venture around!! Since Leelathae can also visit dreams, do you think she visits each of her children's dream every night?

Old guard name reveal HECK YEAH!! I've been waiting for that. So happy he got all those recognitions and promotion!!

And Becket getting demoted lmaoo

Is it rude for me to say that with what Beckett did before the invasion (ignore Frederick), and how he immediately decided to confess to Maria without any consideration for the room, he kindaa had it coming? xd I get that he was excited but don't just do that man.

Just wanted to say I absolutely love Lorena's outfit in this panel! Between all of the pastel siblings, her fashion style has always been my favorite. VOTE QUEEN LORENA WOOOOO!!!!

Everyone's getting their appreciations like they deserve!! I'm happy for everyone.

FREDERICK FINALLY GETTING THE RECOGNITION, THE APPRECIATION, AND THE PROUDNESS HE DESERVE!! I'M SO PROUD OF HIM EVERYONE LOOK AT HIM. LOOK AT THE BOY.

The Cursed Princess Club!! Everyone may have a hard time accepting them at first but they always have their family and friends' back <3 Love how Tori is just "CLAP YOU HEATHENS" Lmao XD

Also the fact that Whitney is just standing there so awkwardly :') he looks like the standing emoji.

Welp, out of the town and to the prison we go~

Leland not getting any visitors in the prison is honestly a really good punishment; a painful one too. How we see in the last chapters about how he realized that Jack actually love him and he has a breakdown, Isolde's speech to him about what else could he possible want, realizing that this whole time he has had everything. And now he's rotting in jail losing everything he once had. All because of envy and hatred. Just because he wasn't satisfied until he could see the man he once love the most suffer. Emotionally, that's really fucking painful.

Out of the prison we go~

So, Pizza exist in the CPC universe? XD That's not supposed to be surprising but I was taken aback for some reason. I guess CPC is set after the 18th century, then!

I can imagine it already. With Suzie moving to the Pastel Kingdom, Lorena will definitely hang out with her almost everyday. Them sparring and eating at a cafe in their free time <3 Sometimes Lance would join too :] They would share notes!!

FINALLY THEY STOLE THE PORTRAIT BACK!! I wonder where they will hang it up? Maybe at the Cpc? Or at the Pastel Palace?

Jack declaring the cpc's forest as a protected place is so damn awesome like, he cares about his daughter's friends!! ALSO THE SPIDER TALKING ABOUT NEWEST MEMBER?? I wonder who...

BENEDICT IS SO DAMN DEVOTED WHAT??? BRO He tricked the sea cucumber to curse him so he can find his lover!!! (This sounds so confusing out of context lmao) TRUE RELATIONSHIP GOAL.

Holy shit. First of all another point about the outfits cause I loveee observing everyone's outfit!! Their wedding dress is absolutely!! Pretty!!! The details Lambcat put is amazing. I can see that Jolie's wearing high heels, so can we assume she and Nell has the same height? Absolutely adore how Jolie's dress has ruffles look while Nell's more silky!!

The wedding's decoration is totally magical too!! It looks so majestic and angelic.

Celso and Aurelia is a couple I would never expect but honestly? I'm not complaining. Imagine their date is them sitting at a cafe right at the window seats, watching people outside while roasting each one of them <3 Dream date fr

Holy shit.. EVERYONE PLEASE, ALLOW ME TO MAKE YET ANOTHER FASHION REVIEW. BECAUSE GOODNESS GRACIOUS THIS DRESS IS MAKING ME SWOON. OKAY DAMN YOU GO MARIA YOU GO. First of all the blue fabric looks so metallic, I love that!! The light blue glittery ruffles with little pearls on its edges are also gorgeous. I love the lace necklace complimenting the dress and especially, I fricking love the blue transculent fabric on her arms!!! She looks so graceful.

She got noticed by her idol!!! That is so dang amazing. How she looks in the album cover is also just, woah.

Blaine buddy you cannot just do that. You cannot just. No. Please I'm begging you, reunite with your family. You can go on ahead with your self discovery journey, of course! But at least visit them once or twice :') Your mom is real worried about you, man...

I hope there's going to be a spin off or something about Blaine's journey...

Okay, I'm wondering about something here! In the panel where the pastel family are having breakfast together, we can see Leelathae eating pancakes in her portrait too! Does this mean she can eat? Can food be transported to portraits? Or did Leopold paint a pancake or smth XD

Gwen and Frederick holding hands in front of the CPC building while being surrounded by sunflowers which once scare Frederick but now he looks so happy and in peace. I'm so glad everyone each got their deserved ending :')

Well, I suppose this is the last review, then. That's kind of sad, to be honest. But I've loved writing each of my reviews, and I want to say thank you to people who have interracted with them. I always love hearing y'all's thought and theories!! Maybe one day I'll find a new webtoon series which I can write these reviews on!! But for now, this shall be the last cpc review I write!

You know what I'd like? That Jack doesn't even bother to ask why Leland did everything he did once he discover ns the truth. He's just so disgusted that he doesn't even care. Can you imagine Leland being all "I did that to get revenge, because-" and Jack cuts him "I don't care, just throws him in some dungeons far away from here, from my children. I don't want to know, you hurt my babies, even your own family. It must be a stupid reason." (and he's right)

I WOULD LOVE THAT SO FREAKING MUCH??? seen with leelathae and his family, jack would just not care about anything else because if you mess with the people he cares about that is absolutely crossing a line. leland thinking he has a final chance of getting jack to understand, because of his compassionate nature, just to be met with jack verbally destroying him. and man, once jack finds out how leland treats his own kids... it's gotta be over for leland. (unless he predicted this would happen and maybe got something to blackmail jack with?? typical leland stuff) anyway i love that idea sososos much, jack would be so right for that, leland would absolutely deserve it, it could be some closure for the adults, and maybe jack could finally bring himself to look at a portrait of his wife again :')

P.S: Just for doing the 'fun' stuffs from previous CPC QnA list (IK it's too long, even Tumblr hate my draft lmao) - I simply want to put the song lyrics with CPC characters - here I go!

-> All of the Cursed Princess Club members experienced this, and it extended to others too like: Frederick, Gwendolyn, Leelathae/Lilyth, Isolde, the Princels

-> fits Isolde so much, been gaslighting all these time (from the very beginning) by Leland and feeling so alone & trapped

-> this really fits Prez so much, with revealation that she didn't kill anyone and she didn't need to acting strong 100% all the time - she could letting things go and forgive herself about what she did

Accept that who you chose to be was out of my control

-> How Leland the Plaid king turns out to be - no one can saves him anymore - be it his 'best friend' Jackie, his wife Isolde and his sons : Blaine, Lance and Frederick

And though it might be hard to begin again

I'll write myself a brand new story with a happy end

I survived, so tonight I am taking back my life

And I'll show you that I am not nothing

I kept my head above the water 'til the moment

-> TBH I feel the 'shattered image' that Gwen said is her demon that need to left far behind so she could heals

You always said that I was weak

But the bravest thing I did was leave

-> It fits with episode 145 "Prison Break" so much, all the time Frederick been called the weak one so he have severe inferiority complex, but when he decides to changes his own story - leaving the Plaid Palace by escaping his prison cell - It's truly a brave action! Show how much our boi develops!!

-> One of the best quote in CPC imho is from Whitney's "You choose the time to heal and change your story", it's indeed so hard to begin, but anyone able and always deserves the chance to change their own story to be happy

Imagine a role reversal AU with...

Lilyth (who kept her original appercerence (having been originally from her island, but had been accidently kidnapped by a pirate and ended up in the hands of the pastek king and queen because they didn't want to deal with the war that could come from it) and due to how awful the conditions were living there (people resented her for not being the ideal beauty standard/messing up the magic thing or whatever and her parents were detached and didn't really care for her), she grew into a rather cold woman, who sent on travels around the world to negotiate trade, and her ship had gotten wreaked on an island where people... looked like her.

And she met Jack, who was treated as a bit of an oddball, because he looked vastly different from everyone, yet was quite kind. And she fell in love with him, and yadayadayada canon happens.

(Jack's diary is about how weird he thinks Leelathae's - he didn't quite know how to pronounce her name - family is. How they're always watching him. How uncomfortable they make him with their constant comments about how they would 'save' their family line. He detests them for hurting his wife, and writes that he wishes that they were kinder, and that he felt Leelathae deserved so much better.)

Lilyth's best friend - Isolde - wasn't happy about this one bit, and would forever feel betrayed by her best friend's choices.

(Leland is just innocent bystander in all this, wondering why his wife would care so much about Lilyth.)

A/N: this was written at 1am last night when I was incredibly sleep derived, so really sorry if there's Grammer mistakes and such!!

Boy, you got me helpless

Look into your eyes, and the sky's the limit

I'm helpless

Down for the count, and I'm drownin' in 'em

There was something about Jack. Something wonderful - it made her feel all fluttery inside, and made her cheeks warm a darker green.

There was only one word for her feelings - Helpless. She was absolutely helpless to his request for her to leave with him.

She was helpless to the fact that loving him would bring upon her ultimate demise.

I have never been the type to try and grab the spotlight

We were at a revel with some rebels on a hot night

Laughin' at my sister as she's dazzling the room

Then you walked in, and my heart went "boom"

Jack- Jack knew it was her when their eyes met. Lilyth was the most beautiful person he's ever seen. It was love, truly.

In the back of his mind, he knew his parents, like they did with his expeditions, would not approve, but he couldn't find it in him to care.

It was as if his heart exploded when they met. She seemed indifferent to him, and even as somebody explained his status to her, she didn't bat an eye. All she did was apologize for mistaking him for a (insert animal she did).

The memory still makes him snicker, remembering how bashful he'd been, assuring her that it was quite alright.

It felt a little … nice to be mistaken for an animal, strangely enough. All his life it was - "you've ought to be the most adorable boy on the earth!" and "such a fine young man you are!" But the moment she met him… she saw him differently.

Oh, look at those eyes, oh (look into your eyes, and the sky's the limit)

I'm helpless, I know (down for the count and I'm drowning in 'em)

Leelathae's favorite part of his appearance was his eyes. They showed so, so, so much. It was like gazing through his soul.

They were a special kind of blue. Ones that represented both the ocean and the sky, ones that Leelathae, if she knew how, could write a million ballads about.

He was just so… different. His personality made her laugh, and he was just so clueless.

Pain flashed through Jack's eyes like thunder, while Love would be embraced like fluffy, light clouds.

His eyes, she realized firmly, were like marbles of the universe - whole galaxies that looked unquestionably unique every time she would take another bask in.

If she could, she would lean her head by his chest, and she'd gaze at his eyes all day long. She'd be able to open up his soul, and ask why he chose her, why the earth chose the wilting moss?

Why the rain still gave water to the forgotten mushrooms, and sunken-in roots?

It was a mystery, honestly, and she was so lucky to be with him.

Where are you taking me?

I'm about to change your life

Then by all means, lead the way

Lilyth… Lilyth goes with him back to his kingdom.

It still feels like a dream. The rocking of his ship, adorned with Pastel kingdom banners, her falling asleep beside him.

He closes his eyes, and he makes a promise.

Jack is going to make her the happiest he can, because she deserves it more than she'll ever know.

"Hmmm," she doesn't much as talk his language, just makes certain sounds and communicates with her hands. She makes a welcoming gesture.

Jack goes in for a hug.

She lets out a happy, "mhmm!"

He agrees with her wholeheartedly.

Two weeks later, in the living room stressin'

My father's stone-faced while you ask him for his blessin'

I'm dying inside as you wine and dine

And I'm tryin' not to cry, 'cause there's nothing that your mind can't do

Jack's family… they're okay.

Leelathae knows that they're talking about her. (They must be, their pointing and gawking is obvious. She doesn't know why they think she's stupid.)

Queen Helena gives her patronizing smiles, and over-explains things, as if she doesn't know what basic electricity is.

King Jesse doesn't talk to her, but his slient disapproval speaks for itself. His posture stiffens whenever she enters a room, he sniffs the air if she ever has the misfortune of sitting near him, and it's like he's always judging her every move.

They don't trust her to be with their son, but guess what? Their precious Jackie-Baby kisses her passionately, he stumbles over his own words to win her over, and… he loves her in a way she doesn't deserve.

Eventually, Jack forces them to give their approval to their marriage, under threat - no, promise - of leaving the kingdom.

He was their only heir, so they obliged.

Leelathae is sure that her wedding day (and subsequently, night) is one of the best days of her life.

No stress, my love for you was never in doubt

We'll get a little place in Harlem and we'll figure it out

"I'm pregnant," Lilyth blurts out.

Everything in the world stops for a moment to focus on Lilyth, dressed in a dark brown gown that would've looked somber on anybody else, but Lilyth was practically glowing.

Jack's cheeks tint a light pink, as he grins like a mad man.

"You're pregnant," he repeats, not seeming to find the words that match his happiness. A kiss works out just fine, though, and she smiles, pulling away.

"We're going to be parents," Lilyth said gently to him. "How do you feel, my beloved?"

"I'm the luckiest man on earth," he declares, "and our children will be just as magical and stunning as you are."

Lilyth glances away, before jumping on him suddenly, clutching him as if he'd disappear.

As long as I'm alive, Eliza, swear to god you'll never feel so-

Leelathae's never felt so strongly about someone before.

He was hers, and she was his.

It was just how things were meant to be; like how warm spring days matched with chocolate ice cream, and how the earth loved its people.

Her feelings for him were slightly overwhelming at times. They burned her, leaving her marked, and forevermore, she would always love him.

It was like a curse, she could never leave. They were locked together forever - as if encased in a golden pendant. The strings of fate lovingly entangled their fingers, and they'd trip over their laced-up feet, laughing in harmony.

Leelathae blushed, squishing up her face - a habit she's always had since she was a little girl, still living on her home island.

Maria had the exact same eyes as he did. The same ones that could shake every presence of life, that could establish peace, that could love without caution.

The earth's waters and sky adored the mermaids, for it crafted crystal-clear water for them to swim in, and air for them to breathe whenever they swam up into the surface to talk with the silly humans.

Yo, my life is gon' be fine 'cause Eliza's in it (helpless)

I look into your eyes, and the sky's the limit, I'm (helpless)

Jack walked into his wife's study. It was filled with books on books, a few musical instruments that she took notes on occasionally about the history of it all, and a nice rocking chair for whenever she wanted a calming read.

He could feel himself falling deeper in his enchantment when he saw the sight that made him ever so grateful to being given vision.

A storytale laid vacant on the table next to her, in Lilyth's lap was Lorena, sleeping soundlessly. Maria was cuddled up by the rocking chair, watching both her mother and sister.

"Father," she called out, a gentle smile on her face. "Can I tell you something?"

"Maria, my darling girl," Jack smiled back - he wouldn't have been able to ever deny the action, it was impulsive, just like the rest of him. "What is it?"

"I like when Mom's happy," Maria said, leaning her head against Lilyth's dress. His daughter hummed, happier than ever to be in close contact with her.

Jack's eyes crinkled.

"I like it too."
