The Knife of Chaos made Cale feel all the emotions and thoughts the sacrifices and believers felt, from the sacrifices' cries of suffering to the believers' cheers of joy. It also made Cale recall KRS's painful memories.

Cale could finally hear what these cries and cheers were about. 'Ugh, team leader! Team leader, you shouldn't be going like this!' 'Jung Soo, Jung Soo!' Ah, the countdown to Cale fainting had begun. 😂

Ending Remarks I was expecting a fight against the saint, but not against the divine item itself. Next chapter would be Cale reaching out to Alberu's light. Would Cale soon faint and leave everything to Alberu, fulfilling the flag he planted earlier?

A/N: Guys, I have fallen in love. In honour of my new obsession called Lee Soo Hyuk I'll write this story and hopefully many more! "A child between a vampire and a human being is said to kill vampires."

"The child likely died since it occurred over 200 years ago."

Gwi looked down at the drawing he was making, the image of his love made memories he had long since buried in his mind resurface, opening scars and bleeding with poisonous remorse for what he had done to the only woman he had loved in his long life and who also loved him back.

200 years ago.

Darkness fell over the village, clouds covered the moon, not allowing any kind of light to illuminate the dark city. The royal palace was silent, as if it were desolate. No soul walked through the gardens, no oil was being burned. Everything was still. Everything swam in a dark sea.

"As you may know, my daughter has been ready for marriage for years now but I would like your wise opinion, My Lord. She possesses an extraordinary beauty and I know her marriage would be beneficial to the council."

Now that picked Gwi's interest. He leaned forward on his throne, his eyes piercing as he looked directly to the Chief Counselor's intimidated eyes.

The old man lifted his head in an almost challenging way that Gwi didn't like at all.

"Kang Ju Won, My Lord."

He didn't know why he had left his palace that night. The full moon was tomorrow, his senses and instincts were sharper than ever but Gwi found himself walking through the gardens like a couple of days ago when he saw the mysterious woman of the roses and sweet scent.

A scent he hadn't been able to forget, in fact it had impregnated into his memories and something within him prompted him to search for her once more.

He halted in his steps when he heard a soft sound coming from around some bushes. Gwi turned around, curious as ever so as to know the source of the sniff-like sound. Good question! If you don't mind getting SPOILERS, I'm happy to answer!

In short, no, the Henituse family members don't find out, at least not in Part 1 (as Part 2 is still in progress).

I also do not get the feeling that they ever will, because when Cale meets OG Cale, who now goes by Kim Rok Soo himself, he's encouraged to embrace the identity of Cale Henituse the same way OG Cale had fully embraced his new identity in Korea.

Cale's old team on Earth 1 noticed that their "Team Leader" had become different, but he also seems happier and adopted a daughter (his reincarnated mom), so they don't mind the change and are actually glad for him. Which is the perfect reflection of how the Henituse family reacted when Cale "finally" stopped being "trash", because both Cale and OG Cale were not happy before the transmigration swap and everybody could see it. So them changing so suddenly was seen as them "dropping their mask", so to speak – which is funny because that's exactly what happened. Both of them let go of the burdens of their past lives to fully enjoy their new ones. Everybody involved is all the better for it (the only thing the God of Death ever done right, lol).

But here's the interesting bit. While the Henituses never find out, there are other characters who do.

First comes Choi Han, who practically speaking got "spoiled" by the God of Death himself. He gets the memories of his relative Choi Jung Soo, Cale's long dead best friend. Seeing KRS in those memories Choi Han easily puts the two and two together, as Cale never really changed personality-wise from his old life (especially his desire for slacker life, hahaha!).

Immediately after Choi Han finds out, Cale tells Raon as well, as he was present while everything was going down and the curious Dragon wanted to understand. Cale's explanation of his transmigration to Raon was extremely short, but very sweet.

Third, there was Alberu, who found out during the Sealed God's Test – which is a whole huge plotline which is too complicated to explain in detail right now, so keep things short, Cale was put into his old 20-year-old body to re-experience his biggest trauma, and both Choi Han and Alberu got to join him there to help him out. Alberu did not recognize Cale immediately, but he saw him using his Ancient Powers, so he put it together quickly as well.

Then followed one of the most hilarious yet heartwarming exchanges between the two, as Alberu realized that whatever was going on put Cale in a very vunerable position, so he sincerely offered to hear him out. Then Cale, with his usual subtlety of a rampaging elephant, info dumps about his and Choi Han's dimension travellers status. Alberu's reaction is one of the funniest moments in the book for me.

Shortly after, there was Lee Soo Hyuk in the Sealed God's Test, Cale's old Team Leader, whom Cale decided to tell the truth before he went back to the fantasy world; as it turned out that there was a younger KRS inside the same body all along, and he wanted someone to know the truth why he was acting differently all of a sudden.

So Choi Han, Raon, Alberu and Lee Soo Hyuk from Earth 2 were the characters who found out about Cale's transmigration (and also the KRS from Earth 2, but I'm not sure if we count him....? Let's say he counts). But I said earlier, Part 2 is still ongoing... And it looks like Ron and Beacrox Molan will found out soon.

Why? Because they joined in on one of Cale's dimension trips, and with Cale changing his appearance accordingly, they seem to be finally putting it together why Cale's personality suddenly changed overnight 2 years ago. They've seen enough clues, and they're not stupid. The conversation about it seems to be put on hold right now, however, but I'm pretty sure it's going to happen sooner or later.

If things happens as I predict, then that will be full 7 characters (aside from OG Cale, Earth 1's CJS & LSH, and various gods) who know about Cale. Seeing as Cale is allergic to explanations, I doubt anyone else will found out any time soon, lol.

Korean Dramas are not only a purpose of entertainment to us fans but those are a mode of escapism from daily life blues. Most of the time Korean dramas are fun and fulfilling, sometimes, though, they are disappointing, and sometimes they face some kind of complicated and mixed reactions. On rare occasions Korean dramas face huge backlash from the netizens. 

In Korean Drama history there are more than one drama to be canceled or cut short due to the unbound backlash that those faced. And today I am going to offer you 7 of those Korean dramas, which were either canceled or cut short due to netizen’s backlash.

10 Korean Dramas that were cut short or canceled

1. Wolf (2006)

In the 2006 Korean drama Wolf, Eric Mun, a beloved figure in the Korean entertainment scene, was originally cast to portray Bae Dae-chul. The storyline revolved around a romantic rivalry between Bae Dae-chul and Han Ji-soo, played by Han Ji Min, both vying for the affection of Yoon Sung-mo, portrayed by Uhm Tae Woong.

The production of Wolf was progressing smoothly until an unfortunate incident occurred during filming. Both lead actors, Mun and Uhm, suffered injuries when they were accidentally struck by a stunt car. This unforeseen setback forced an immediate halt in production. 

Initially, there was optimism that filming would resume once Mun and Uhm recovered from their injuries. However, as time passed, a series of postponements ensued, eventually leading to the regrettable decision to cancel the entire project.

The incident not only impacted the physical well-being of the two actors but also dealt a significant blow to the momentum and continuity of the production. The cancellation left fans disappointed, as they were eagerly anticipating the resolution of the complex love triangle that had been unfolding. 

Despite the setback, the legacy of Wolf endures as a testament to the unpredictable challenges that can arise in the world of television production, where even the most carefully planned projects can be derailed by unforeseen circumstances.

2. A Beautiful Mind (2016)

A modern reinterpretation of the timeless Frankenstein narrative, 2016 Korean drama Beautiful Mind centered around Lee Young-oh, impeccably portrayed by Jang Hyuk, a neurosurgeon renowned for his technical prowess but severely lacking in empathy. The plot unfolded within the confines of a hospital, where Lee Young-oh found himself entangled in the perplexing enigma of unexplained deaths.

Originally slated for a 16-episode run, the fantastical Korean drama faced an abrupt truncation, concluding prematurely at the 14th episode mark. The decision to curtail its run was prompted by subpar viewership ratings that failed to meet expectations. 

Despite its initial promise, the show grappled with dwindling audience engagement, reflected in its highest Nielsen Korea rating of 4.7% during the third episode. Unfortunately, this peak was short-lived, as subsequent episodes witnessed a gradual decline in viewership, culminating in a modest 2.8% rating for its penultimate showing.

The untimely demise of the series left its narrative threads dangling, and the abbreviated episode count disappointed both fans and critics who had anticipated a more extensive exploration of the intriguing storyline. 

In the fickle landscape of television, where audience reception plays a pivotal role, the fate of this modern Frankenstein adaptation serves as a poignant reminder of the unpredictable nature of viewer preferences and the challenging terrain that TV productions navigate.

HYBE and Min Hee Jin...

There's some new backstabbing going on in the world of K-pop since the spectacular ousting of Lee Soo Man from SM Entertainment. His prodigy and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin is allegedly trying to get out of HYBE. On April 22, HYBE initiated an audit against ADOR’s management, including CEO Min Hee Jin, after reportedly detecting attempts by ADOR to become independent.

Following the reports, ADOR released the following statement; Min Hee Jin was upset over HYBE and Belift stealing her ides and copying NewJeans in favor of their new girl group ILLIT (which is true, imo). But if it's true that she's trying to go behind HYBE's back and go independent, she might get sued by HYBE (because that would be highly illegal). Anyway, this could turn into a huge fight over ADOR.

"Hello. This is ADOR Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ADOR, CEO Min Hee Jin).

ADOR is publicly addressing the incident of ILLIT copying NewJeans to protect our artist NewJeans and for the healthy development of the music industry and culture in Korea.

HYBE operates a multi-label system for various labels to independently create their music and pursue cultural diversity. ADOR is one of those labels. Ironically, ADOR and our agency artist NewJeans’ cultural achievements are being most severely infringed upon by HYBE.

BELIFT LAB, one of HYBE’s labels, debuted the five-member girl group ILLIT in March of this year. After ILLIT’s teaser photos were released, explosive reactions spread online saying, “I thought it was NewJeans.” ILLIT is copying NewJeans in all aspects of entertainment activities including hair, makeup, clothing, choreography, photos, videos, and event appearances. ILLIT is being assessed as being “Min Hee Jin style,” “Min Hee Jin type,” and “an imitation of NewJeans.” It’s a truly shameful situation.

HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk produced ILLIT’s debut album. The copying of NewJeans by ILLIT was not done independently by BELIFT LAB but also involves HYBE. HYBE, a leading company in K-pop, is blinded by short-term profits and is mass-producing unoriginality by copying successful cultural content without hesitation.

NewJeans is currently preparing for a comeback in May. However, ILLIT has caused NewJeans to be brought up when they are not promoting at the moment. The appearance of an imitation has caused NewJeans’ image to be consumed and has caused concern and fatigue to fans and the public with unnecessary involvement in disputes. The main culprits who created this situation are HYBE and BELIFT LAB, but the damage caused by this is entirely on ADOR and NewJeans.

There are reactions that it is understandable that ILLIT is similar to NewJeans as they are both under HYBE labels. Some even think that ADOR and NewJeans have allowed or consented to this similarity. However, these reactions are clearly a misunderstanding, and we want to clarify this. A multi-label system is a system for each label to independently create the music they want, not a system to give indulgences to other labels to copy the cultural achievements of another label just because they are affiliated labels.

And ADOR has never allowed or given consent to anyone, including HYBE and BELIFT LAB, to copy NewJeans’ achievements. ADOR does not want NewJeans and ILLIT to be associated in any way. We have no intention of tolerating promotions such as groups being sibling groups just because they debuted under HYBE labels.

ADOR has already officially raised the issue of the copying incident and a series of behaviors taken by HYBE against NewJeans to HYBE and BELIFT LAB. However, HYBE and BELIFT LAB did not admit their wrongdoings and were busy making excuses, delaying concrete answers. Amidst this, HYBE suddenly informed today (April 22, 2024) that they would suspend and dismiss CEO Min Hee Jin from her duties, stating that there is “concern that [CEO Min Hee Jin] could significantly damage ADOR’s corporate value.”

At the same time, they are attempting ridiculous media play such as that CEO Min Hee Jin “tried to seize management rights.” It is incomprehensible how a legitimate complaint to protect the cultural achievements of our artist NewJeans could harm ADOR’s interests or how it could be an act of seizing control of ADOR.

It appears that HYBE and BELIFT LAB along with Chairman Bang Si Hyuk think that simply driving CEO Min Hee Jin out of the company will end this issue without providing proper apologies or measures. However, ADOR will use all possible means and methods to protect the cultural achievements that NewJeans has worked for and to prevent further infringement due to copying. We want to make it clear that we cannot tolerate copying and various unfair actions continuing against ADOR and NewJeans.

HYBE and BELIFT LAB may try to dilute the incident from debut by highlighting the differences between NewJeans and ILLIT as ILLIT’s activities increase. Misunderstandings by fans and the public may also increase over time. As a result, ADOR has decided to announce an official position after sufficient discussion with the NewJeans members and legal representatives.

Through this statement, we hope that HYBE and BELIFT LAB will face their wrongdoings and contribute to the Korean music industry and culture through fervent contemplation and creation while respecting the cultural achievements of others.

My friend and I just watched Pipeline (2021)

And my reaction immediately after watching was: That was terrible. It was so good. I hate it. It was great. What did we just watch? 10 out of 10, would never watch again (a lie).

Summary of movie according to me: a professional oil pipeline driller (basically a hacker but for oil)(Seo In Guk) gets hired by the "head of an oil refinery company" (Lee Soo Hyuk) for a high stakes, big pay out job, and through this is forced to work with a team of 3 skilled though rookie workers to complete this high risk job within a month.

Okay first of all, I LOVED Seo In Guk and Lee Soo Hyuk in this. They were AMAZING! (And SO hot. Oh-my-eyes. I will never recover.) This is even better after watching Doom at Your Service. I love these actors.

And beyond those two? The plot was good, but my friend and I were expecting more of an action-comedy type movie. What we got instead was an intense stressful action heist criminal vs criminal movie. But the end was SO satisfying to watch, and honestly the end was the comedy we were looking for. That might be a little spoilery sorry. It just got exponentially lighter after the intense climax of the movie, and it was such a relief. It was amazing. What a high.

Also the characters were great. It's not like all of them were super developed or anything, but they did have character growth and honestly were just enjoyable to watch. And it was awesome to watch this team of misfits come together as a team. It's a plot that'll never get old.

Also there's no romance in this movie, which I think is really refreshing. And the girl in this (literally the only girl) is awesome! Love her!

This movie had elements that reminded us of Ocean's 11 (both the original 1960 and the 2001) but also held it's own. It's definitely its own thing.

In conclusion, this movie was stressful to watch but so dang satisfying. The plot, characters, and acting were all really good. So yes, I would recommend this movie. Just be prepared for your heart to race and to maybe lose some hair. But it's great.
