someone complained about his last episode not living up to his Running Man character on the show but...that's the whole point?

Lee Kwang Soo is saying goodbye as himself, as the person behind the variety show image.

He was very intentional about what he asked for. He did not want any high stakes game, he didn't want anything stressful - all he wanted was to make some great memories for the last time.

He wanted to spend time with the people who have become his family over the last 11 years. This episode allowed the cast, crew and fans to get emotional and find closure with him leaving.

As emotionally devastating as it was for all of us to hear that he was leaving due to his health problems, it was emotionally devastating for him too. It was not an easy choice to leave and I am happy he did what is best for him.

This episode was a goodbye and focused on the fact that behind the variety show image, you have a group of very real people who care about each other.

That journey brought us all to the end where we are sad he's not going to be here next week but we are happy he is doing what is best for him.

I’m going to confess that I’m really rubbish at these kinds of questionnaires, because I’m not very open about revealing personal details online. So with that in mind, I’ll just answer the bits I feel comfortable answering (please don’t mind my paranoia).

DO YOU HAVE OTHER BLOGS: Yes - my main blog is tonikah. It’s basically a guy appreciation blog (haha), and for a while, it was very Lee Kwang Soo, Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch focused. I don’t update that as often as this sideblog right now. I actually have an aesthetics blog as well at tangentially, but that gets even less love at the moment, though I do still post occasionally.

DO YOU GET ASKS: Hardly, unfortunately. I do answer asks, so ask away! Unless it’s about my personal details of course, in which case, I may or may not answer.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR URL: The “drabblets” bit came about because I had originally intended to post Infinite-related writing, since I have a few ideas. I had also thought I’d reblog/post more fanfics. But it’s turned out to be almost mainly visually focused, and I quite like it that way. I may still post my drabbles/one-shots one day, but they need tweaking - let’s just say I’ve only ever written one fanfic (a Lee Kwang Soo related drabble) in my life. (If you’re interested, ask!)
